    Ive used Shaw a few times now and have always received excellent service. This time I called and they were able to fit me in the same day. The woman who scheduled me was very competent and helpful. I love that they send a text with a picture of the tech and your appt info - as a single woman it makes me feel very safe. They also communicated so well during the process. The tech, Cory, was professional and friendly. He spent time diagnosing the problem and gave me a detailed quote before doing any repairs. He also gave me some valuable information that I will definitely use.

    I contacted Shaw plumbing after numerous other companies said they wouldn’t be able to get anyone out to my home till the following day, they were able to get someone out within a hour. Cory was efficient and professional. He explained a couple options for my sump pump. I decided to replace it and he was able to get it done that day. It was not an inexpensive fix, but thankful Shaw was able to get out and get it done quickly.

    Appointment availability and workmanship were superior. Using Shaw Plumbing from initial contact with the scheduler to job completion by the tech was a very positive experience. Service was needed the week of Christmas and they got us scheduled immediately which was unbelievable. Communication prior to and after the repair was excellent. Cory C (technician) called ahead with ETA arriving on time. He was very professional,pleasant,polite,skilled, and had all tools required for repair with him. The work needed and completion time was explained thoroughly. Total cost was provided up front, without pressure to proceed. Protective footwear and coverings in the work area were used for floor protection. After a flawless installation he checked to make sure every thing was working and leak free. Cory kept the job area clean and neat during the install and cleaned up the area fully upon completion. There is no hesitation to use Shaw Plumbing for future needs with a request to send Corey to do the work. Thank you to Shaw Plumbing and Cory for making Christmas happen with working plumbing fixtures.

    Highly recommend Shaw plumbing. They came and helped us with an issue and were quick to diagnose. Cost is very reasonable. The entire process from scheduling to job completion was pleasant and professional. We later had a follow up issue pop up(unrelated to their work) and they were able to get us in quickly again. Tech is knowledgeable and professional.

    While away on vacation, our pet sitter informed us that our downstairs shower, sink and outside patio drains were backing up and not draining. We notified Shaw Plumbing, and they promptly responded to resolve the issue!     Outstanding from the start!! I was expecting to have to wait at least a week until they could start work, and was pleasantly surprised when Cory said he could start right then. He also finished everything, from installing a new hot water tank and replaced a rusted out line, all in the same day. Very impressed and will definitely use again!

    This an exceptional organization with highly skilled employees and incredible service. We were communicated with throughout the process to include a bid that we understood what was going to happen and why. Prior to the person who directly provided the service arriving we received both a call and email confirming the service time. The text included an image of the person (Jason) and contact information. He completed the work and afterwards made sure we understood the changes and how we can benefit/use them to our advantage. He answered all our questions and made sure we were comfortable with the service. This is an organization that exemplifies outstanding service!

    Corey came and gave an estimate which listed everything with a bottom line figure. We scheduled and he came again, on time, and did a great job. Explained how everything was set up and how to turn gas on and off and how to restart the pilot light. Answered our questions on how to do a maintenance drain and how often it should be done. Totally neat job, nothing out of place and no mess when he left. I would definitely ask for him to come back if we have any future plumbing needs. Also office was great at letting us know he was on the way and texted a picture of Corey so we knew who to expect. Great company.

    Shaws Plumbing Services is F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C !!!My house was built in 1946 and badly needed a new irrigation system, but some plumbing had to be done before a new system could be connected. It appears the old system was replaced at least once, maybe twice after the original system was installed.The original irrigation system was installed around the same time the foundation was laid. The old 2-inch galvanized pipe had to be replaced with 1-inch copper. A new shutoff ball valve replaced the old, non-functional gate valve. My technician did an excellent job under a less-than-ideal work environment. There was a cupboard built around the original plumbing, and all the external wood panels had to be removed for access to the plumbing, leaving only the framing studs in place. Work performed by the assigned technician was meticulous and to the specs required by irrigation team installers.Shaws Plumbing Services was unanimously recommended to me by two other contracting outfits doing some work for me. I can see why Shaws was the go-to plumbing service after the job Shaw’s technician did for me. And... Shaw’s quote was well under three other bids from competing plumbing companies. Between glowing recommendations from other installation outfits, Shaws fair pricing, and Shaw’s guarantee for a job done correctly, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Shaws plumbing to my friends and family - and to you, too, if youre reading this!Thank you!

    Cory was a total pro and solved our issue (clogged main house-to-sewer pipe) with clear communication about remedy options and respective pricing for each. Once we decided on a course of action, he got straight to work and unclogged our pipe. He is kind, respectful, and again - is a total pro. All of this after multiple at-home attempts to unclog it myself, which included an unsuccessful 25-ft. snake).

    The Shaw folks installed a cartridge filter and replaced our malfunctioning ball valve today. Or at least that was the original plan. They were also going to replace the pressure sensor on the sediment tank which had had a slow leak for a long time.Well that turned into a bigger deal. Come to find out the T right out of the tank was corroded and cracked most likely from the initial installation. So they tried to repair first and when that didnt work we decided on a new pressure tank and T.It was past the original timeline but they ran out to the supply store got the required parts and came back to finish the job so wed have water tonight.We are so appreciative of George and Clays hard work.We also had Jason on the HVAC side replace a squeaky part. He went the extra mile and found some other issues at the same time.We highly recommend Shaws! You wont be disappointed.

    Shaw plumbing is a 10/10 business, very professional and quick with a response. I needed a new water line put in for my fridge, I got a quote and a plumber to come out the next day, and it was done in under an hour. If you need any plumbing work done I highly suggest Shaw plumbing!

    Very polite and knowledgeable staff. Gave just a 2 hour arrival window of 10am-noon (next day service even with non-emergency toilet leak). They even called me a bit past 10 to let me know it might be closer to 11. That courtesy of customers’ time is very very hard to find nowadays. Diagnosed the issue in no time and gave me 3 options with specific estimates based on how much work I wanted. Got the work done in well under 2 hours, even helped with a couple little things like a jiggly shower handle and leaky tub drain not related to the bigger job.Pricing was right at or below my expectations which is such a nice surprise nowadays.From first phone/scheduler to the plumbing technician, Cory, start to finish, very professional. Will call them with any future needs.

    Technician Corey had to come fix a leaking kitchen drain line unseen behind my walls. I knew it wasnt going to be a easy in and out type job. Corey got right to work no hesitation and started busting it out and didnt take long for him to find the busted pipe. Really nice guy cleaned up afterwards and even answered a couple questions I had about doing some do it myself light plumbing fixes.     Had them out for an estimate, during which they took the time to help me get my sprinklers to work (new home owner here). Got another estimate which was almost spot on with theirs so I went with them. They were able to schedule quickly and the job was done fast. The new set up looks great, and they even mounted my gutter pipe for me after it fell. Both men were very pleasant. We’ll definitely hire them again in the future!

    Shaw replaced a burst hose bib and let me know up front that there was a chance our main shutoff valve might need to be replaced, and gave me separate costs for each item.They were able to do the hose bib repair and stopped the leak at the shut off without replacing it, but said to be prepared to replace it since it would likely start leaking the next time someone turned it off.They were honest and upfront about all of the repairs, and I decided to have them replace the main valve since they were there. it was well worth it.They sent photos of the work with their invoice since I am working on the other side of the state when this happened.I will be using Shaw again for any plumbing work.

    Shaw Plumbing Services technician Ryan listened patiently as I talked about what was going on with our plumbing. He explained the options for fixing it. Then, in about 2 and a half hours or so, he replaced 2 faucets and a garbage disposal, and disconnected and removed an old water softener, and left everything nice and neat.

He was very friendly and thoroughly explained what he was going to do before starting work to make sure we were on the same page. While working, he discovered a problem with our water main shutoff and was kind and detailed in explaining what was wrong, why it needs fixing, and estimating the repair cost for that. I will be working with them again in the future!

    I just have to say that if I need plumbing services in the future, my call will definitely be to Shaw plumbing! They came out to fix a problem with getting hot water without having to wait a long time. After they left, we noticed it was still taking quite a while to get hot water Throughout the house. I called a few days later, not expecting much, but to my surprise, they came back out, made some more changes and now we have hot water throughout the house without a long wait. I can’t tell you how much it meant to me that they backed their work. I’m sure some companies would just say that’s the best it can get, but these guys worked hard and I appreciate the integrity, professionalism, and service after the sale!

    David from Shaw Plumbing did a great job for us. First of all, we called in the morning about our kitchen sink clog that we were unable to unclog with home remedies and he was at our house by noon that day. He reviewed the plumbing system to be sure he knew where the clog was going to go when it was dislodged. Then he brought in his snake and cleared out the accumulated sludge coating our pipes. He spent time going over best practices for avoiding this problem in the future and then before he left, he made sure our dishwasher was draining properly. What a relief to have the drain unclogged quickly by a professional. Thank you David.

    No house call charge! This is unheard of these days! One place was going to charge $300 to walk through my front door! Office staff is incredibly friendly and they get you scheduled quickly.     Shaw Plumbing and their plumber, David, were great! My elderly parents 12-year old water heater gave up over the weekend. My husband and I called first thing Monday morning, and Shaw was able to get David out to my parents by the afternoon. David was knowledgeable, explained what was going on with the old heater, and gave us our options without pressure. He was able to get a new water heater, replaced the old one, and explained the set-up of the new one. My parents are happy to have hot water in their house again.     Terrin and Ryan completely rebuilt my Washing room drain and did a fantastic job. They made sure to properly vent the drain and everything was brought up to code.They were punctual, friendly and kept me informed on what the were doing during and after the job was complete.I will be having a new plumbing added in a few weeks for a shower and feel confident that i will be just as happy with the work for that as i am with the wash drain installation.Would Rec Shaw plumbing to family and friends

    I highly recommend Shaw Plumbing and personally, I will not shop for a plumber again. I will just call Shaw. I really appreciated the up-front pricing with no surprises, and it is obvious that customer satisfaction is important to them. Prices felt fair for quality work. Everyone was great to work with including Hank, Levi, Sam, etc. Thanks guys!I had a hot water tank installed in a new location, had all my old galvanized pipe replaced with Pex piping, replaced a hose bib, and they were able to increase the water volume coming into my home. We also ran a camera through our drain & had roots cleared from the line. I appreciated the video provided w/ comments on what we were looking at. They have nice equipment take pride in the work. We had lots of plumbing completed and we are 100% satisfied with our experience.

    Used Shaw plumbing again...George and Jason did an excellent job - arrived early and resolved issues quickly and efficiently. They are a bit pricey, but well worth getting the job done right. Completed the shut-off problem I had with outside water, while resolving future regulations coming to Spokane water users. Will definitely use Shaw again should I have a plumbing need.Another excellent job by George with Shaw plumbing. Had them do some work last year which was excellent, so called again and was lucky enough to get George again, who removed a broken toilet and replaced it quickly and efficiently leaving no mess and no damage to the linoleum. Looks great, works well and Im totally happy with this company and will use them again.

    Mekie came out to replace an external faucet on our home and to repair a cracked PVC pipe in our sprinkler box. In completing our final walk-through, he heard a faint noise when he turned on the water to our sprinkler system and tracked it down to a slow drip leak in a separate sprinkler box. Even though we were at our appointment end time, he stayed and repaired that leak and didnt charge me extra for it. It brings me great relief knowing that an experienced professional was genuinely looking out for my home. As a bonus, Shaw Plumbing was able to get me on their schedule within 5 business days (I specifically said I didnt have an emergency but needed someones help in the next 10 days). Most places I called to get a sprinkler pipe repaired were not as accommodating, so I am very thankful Shaw Plumbing had sufficient staffing to meet customer demand. Thank you Mekie!

    We had George and Cory come look at an issue with hot water pressure in our sink. We had fixed it ourselves (so we thought) but the problem returned after a few months. George and Cory were super thorough, looking at all the potential causes of the problem and then recommended a process to potentially fix it. It worked!The best part was how descriptive and educational they were. Not only did they resolve the issue, but they gave us information on how to do it ourselves if the issue returned and multiple ideas for how to prevent recurrence of the problem. We have a 75 year old house and like to do work ourselves when we can. I *so* appreciate how friendly, thorough, and informative they were. George even patiently let me write down all the steps of the process.     Excellent service provided by Shaw. I had an issue with my hot water, called Shaw and they sent a tech to diagnose the problem. He had trouble figuring out exactly what was wrong, but in stead of having me pay to fix something that he wasnt 100% sure about, he came back with another tech to help figure out exactly what was causing the problem. Both techs came a second time and successfully repaired the issue, and rather than making me pay full price for both visits, they rolled the cost of the first visit into my final bill. The techs and the receptionists at the office were all extremely friendly and very honest, I will definitely be using their service for any problems I have in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone.

    Shaw Plumbing handled an issue that I needed repaired as soon as possible. Cory came and checked out my main bathroom issue with required a whole new toilet (I believe the original one dated back to 1976 when the house was built) and he was happy to take a look at a different issue that also required work. He was out the next day and was able to complete all of the repairs I needed quickly and with excellent work and communication! Thanks to everyone at Shaw!UPDATE: Cory explained the warranty for the new toilet, making sure that I understood that the warranty did not include clogs. I managed to clog the darn thing almost a week ago and nothing I could do could clear it out. I’m a disabled senior citizen with an old and apparently non-working plunger, so I had to bite the bullet and ask them to come out and help me with this problem. It’s a bit pricey for just unclogging the toilet. But they sent out my old friend Cory again within a couple of hours after I called, which was incredible! And Cory did explain to me that even a brand new, operational plunger probably couldn’t have cleared this issue up - he was using some kind of auger device (kind of like a super snaking tool) and he told me that even that level of effort had a hard time clearing the darn clog out. So once again, Shaw has responded VERY quickly to help me resolve an issue far outside of my skill set, and they sent Cory again and he was great to deal with. Thanks once more, Shaw Plumbing!

    Our hot water heater went out. I called on a Monday and Technician Ryan was at my house 8 am on Tuesday. He gave me a couple options with different price points for replacing the tank.     We choose Shaw Plumbing Services because of its A+ rating and it turned out to be a very good decision!Everything connected with Shaw turned out to be A+ as advertised. The office staff who made the appointments were professional and positive. The replacement parts and tools & equipment used by the plumber were of good quality.We have a lot of praise for Mekie, the plumber who replaced our water heater and check valve. Mekie was caring enough to realize in our conversations that the tub/shower cartridge also needed replacing. He also replaced an older gas valve that no longer met code and replaced the flexible water lines going to the water heater. (The other plumbing company said nothing about those items when they came out to give us an estimate.) He was also good-natured enough to vary his work enough to allow me time to replace some floor tiles that were under the old water heater. I had to proactively follow up over the phone a couple times, and I do wish they were reachable by email and/or text too like some of their competitors are.- A 2-day project turned into a 5-day project due to a scheduling error. It happens, and the team did their best to get the job done as quickly as possible, but having an open trench in my basement floor for 5 days led to moisture issues in my basement that Im still having to dehumidify a few weeks after the project was completed.- I was told Id receive a call from the office letting me know what day the inspector would be coming out for final inspection; I never received that call and the inspector showed up unexpectedly. Luckily, I was home to let him in!

    There arent enough good words for me to use for this company and the way they run their business. I have been dealing with large scale plumbing issues for 7 years now, which means I have interacted with people in the plumbing industry at least twice a year for the last 7 years. Shaw has been such a breath of fresh air from their customer service, to the quality and integrity in the work they deliver. And this is all before we even break ground on the big project. David came in to camera our line and mark locations of the big job. He went above and beyond to get this job done, as getting into our main line was not easy, and make very clear and precise markings which is so important when we are getting ready for a huge job. I called at least 5 plumbing services who told us they could not get to us until after the New Year. Fortunately, Justin was able fit us in their work schedule the same day, and Branden fixed the leak about an hour after he arrived. The workmanship was very professional and clean. He minimized the amount of drywall repair I had to do afterwards. I was very pleased with Shaw Plumbing and would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for quality and reasonably priced plumbing services.

    Called one company and explained I was a commercial company and needed to repair/replace our hot water tank. They told me they would have someone call me. This was late on a Friday afternoon. By the following Tuesday I had not received a call back. So, I called the company. They explained they didnt have a plumber licensed to work commercial. Hmmm! Why didnt they tell me last Friday.I called Shaw Plumbing. The receptionist informed me that one of their technicians was just about completing a job and he would call me we he was on his way. Within a couple of hours the plumber, George, was at my office. I showed him the tank. After a few minutes of testing the elements and confirming the age of the tank and advised it needed to be replaced. George wasnt sure he could find the same brand or the 80 gallon capacity we desired. He said he would do some the research and let me know what he finds. A couple hours later at 5:30 p.m. George called me to confirmed hed found the brand and size tank I requested and it was local. So, we set up an appointment for installation the next day.I really appreciated Shaw Plumbings prompt response and Georges can do attitude.

    I had a faucet issue in my bathtub. Being a first-time homeowner and never having a plumbing issue before this, I had called multiple local services and scheduled a couple visits for them to give me quotes; the verdict was anything between $600-$1300 to fix the job, and the earliest I could expect the fix to occur was at least a full week away from the inspection. I didnt like that.But that wasnt the case with Shaw. They sent a repairman (Ryan/Rian) out to inspect my problem, and he took one look at it and confidently outlined my options of how to get it fixed, day of. He proceeded to repair the faucet, and even explained to me what he was doing in real time (as I am by no means a handyman) so I could learn myself.All in all, Shaw got the project done in a single day, all for a fraction of the price that competitors had quoted me. I have already recommended Shaw to some of my peers, and will be sure to use them again in the future!

    Ryan worked at my house for about 6 hours. Maybe longer. He was very thorough, professional, and friendly. I had a pipe dripping in the basement, and a bathtub faucet that I had let drip for too long, which probably caused the problem in the downstairs. Ryan was able to do both repairs, upstairs and down, and politely answered all of my questions. I have two more jobs to be done, and got estimates today. Ill be calling Shaw again next month!     Clay was able to come over a day early which was nice. He was very professional and actually told us we didnt have to have the pipe replaced but we decided we wanted the pipe replaced now. I felt it was reasonable on the price and we were told the exact price before Clay started. It took him very little time and the water was turned back on. Plus there is a one year warranty.     I cannot stop singing praises for Shaw plumbing. They are fast friendly and professional. In January we found out we had to have aprox 25ft of our sewer line replaced. They came in several thousand less than other plumbers and were done by 1 I think the longest part was waiting for the city inspector to check it out. I called this morning for a clog that was causing our sink to drain into our tub. I called and within 15 minutes David S. Was there to save the day! He gave us a quote for some repiping (the previous owners were diy happy in the bad way) he was very kind, informative and professional. He even cleaned our tub/shower for us. Which I will add was quite nasty from the sink draining into it. Where most company’s won’t even clean up after themselves Shaw plumbing continues to impress me. Other plumbing services around, primarily Mainstream, have failed to follow through with scheduled appointments more than they have honored them.     My husband and I just bought a house and had quite a few unexpected plumbing needs. We got an estimate from another plumbing company and decided to get a second opinion with Shaw Plumbing as recommended by a friend. In the end there was such good and thorough communication (Amber was wonderful!) about the bid and scheduling, we used Shaw Plumbing. Our technician, Sam, was amazing to work with. He was patient in explaining things to us, worked efficiently, and communicated when needed. He was on time and we even got a text alert letting us know he was on his way.     Shaw plumbing was referred to us from a family friend. They repair a leaking tub drain and replaced a very old shower faucet set for us. From bid to completion of the job was less than a week. Other companies had mentioned it would likely be 2 weeks out. Shaws price was in line with other plumbers. What really sold us was their great communication about the process and plans and it seemed like they really cared about getting this job done for us in a timely fashion and done right.     Shaw installed a tankless water heater with a water softener for us. Weve been very happy with the setup this far. The hot water comes to the faucets really quickly thanks to the units recirculation ability, and we are excited about the space, energy, and money savings from going from three electric water heater tanks to one gas powered tankless heater. Shaw Plumbing is easy to work with and very responsive.

Their office noted my immediate need, did not have an opening for several days, but asked if I was willing to be on standby and they would try to work me in and get back to me ASAP. I had researched online and they recommended/installed the brand that received the best online reviews.
