I had a leak under my slab at my business. I called 6 different plumbing companies to see if they could come out ASAP and help me out with my issue. My company is an elderly assisted-living facility, so Hot water for my residence is crucial. No one was able to come out and help me out on such short notice and over the Thanksgiving holiday, Gold Seal Plumbing Was the only one willing to make an hour drive travel time and come out the same day to take a look at the problem.They came out that Friday, Shawn, the plumber was beyond impressive, I went above and beyond the call of duty for us. Had a failing water heater and found these guys on the EPA website and Avista’s website. They came out and their quote was in line with the others I got but they had a longer labor warranty and some other benefits that others didn’t. Steven also explained things about the process and price really well. I scheduled them to come out for the replacement the following week.Steven, Jamison, and Dayson came out and got things swapped out efficiently. Steven always provided lots of good information and options during the quoting and servicing process. They took care to make sure everything was done right and everything was cleaned up when they left. Happy I went with Gold Seal and will definitely be using them again for any other future needs I have.

I had several plumbing issues lately. Making an appointments with Gold Seal was easy and the plumbers arrived on time. They assessed the problems and explained the work needed as well as providing the repair cost before proceeding with repairs. A week later I had another plumbing issue and called to request Brandon. I made an appointment for the following day with the option of being contacted if Brandon was available sooner. Much to my surprise he was able to come that same morning! Two different repairs were done to the plumbing between the water meter and the double check valve for our sprinklers on two separate occasions, first by Ben and Stan, then by Jackson and Scott. Both crews were communicative, punctual, professional, and fast.The first repair was due to a section of pipe being rusted completely through because someone used black iron (non-galvanized) pipe for a section of the plumbing, then the second repair was due to a very small leak further downstream that had nothing to do with the first repair.Be forewarned: Gold Seal Plumbing is not cheap. The key to being satisfied with their work is to know that theyre not going to be the cheapest plumber, and may be one of if not the most expensive option. But they stand behind their work and they do a great job. The first repair cost a bit over $500 after a $50 discount for being a first time customer, while the second repair cost around $750. If you know its expensive before calling them and youre willing to accept that, theyre a very good option for all of your plumbing needs.

My experience this morning with Steven was exceptional! He was very friendly, professional and knowledgable. He fixed the issue with my front hose bib and saved me from a potential flooding disaster in the basement as there was a crack in the PVC. I’m glad he also noticed and fixed an issue with a leaking water heater hose as he was in my storage room to find the main water shutoff valve. Then at the end I asked if he could quickly check an issue with the garbage disposal spewing back up into the other sink that my wife has been upset about lately, and he was able to fix that…she will be happy when she gets home! He worked to save me money in every way he could on those multiple jobs and am very appreciative as piece-mealing them one by one on different appointments would have been more costly. I was having painting done and working on getting flooring. Steven knew I needed to juggle the work without me saying anything. I had a water emergency today and I called Gold Seal Plumbing, who has helped me in the past. Taylor and Chris were dispatched to our home, and they arrived within 20 minutes. They were so thorough and kept me in the loop regarding what was found and what needed to be done. The work was not going to be a quick fix. Taylor took pictures of the leaks and explained what was required to fix, and in my case, also to correct the existing pipes where the leaks were. I had already gone into the crawl space and found the areas where the leaks were before I called Gold Seal Plumbing. I was given a couple different solutions and the final decision was mine.My home was left in excellent condition. I am very pleased.I highly recommend Gold Seal Plumbing. First time I’ve ever had to call a plumber, and I’ve got to say the experience was great. Dawson was the guy who came out to my house and from the very beginning he was friendly, informative, willing to answer my questions, and very efficient. He fixed my drain, explained how to perform preventative maintenance, and replaced a garbage disposal. The cost was higher than I expected, but as the saying goes, “Skilled labor isn’t cheap, and cheap labor isn’t skilled”.

Called several plumbers and no kidding, the job was to small for some. Okay! Two places I called were unable to give me an estimate ( ballpark) of what it would cost to replace the main water shutoff in my house. Gold Seal was one of these. FYI 411.00$ for this, basic price, if they had charged by the hour it could have been considerably less. 1/2” to 1” valve replacement. Doesn’t matter how easy or difficult this is that is the price. I do not have a shutoff at the street so it made this very interesting. Water going everywhere. The water company guy did most of the work. The Gold Seal plumber dude was very professional. I took off a star because they could not get me a ballpark est. If the plumber can walk in, look at it and say 411.00$’s the people on the phone should be able to also.

Excellent and thoroughly work. Both Steven and Dylan were professional and checked all of the possibilities what was problem on our water pressure problem. After detailed inspection, they replaced the hose bib that was already once replaced. They also did other plumbing service in the house at the same time. They were honest and good plumbers. Luckily in the end, we didn’t have to install pressure reducing valve since we didn’t have to.

Since we were new to Spokane, I was not sure who to call. We had a flooded kitchen on a Sunday morning and Gold Seal was up for the task. They were in constant contact with me about arrival time and cost. The plumber arrived as scheduled and was able to diagnose the problem and get everything fixed within about 2 hours. I was wanting to replace our Garbage Disposal and since Gold Seal was already here I had them replace that as well. Great Job and thank you!!Update: The above review was for June 2023 about a month after we arrived in Spokane. A few days ago, we noticed water leaking underneath the kitchen sink. This was from the same location or our repair in June. I called Gold Seal and they were able to get someone out the next day. They had to cut out a square of sheet rock in our basement closet wall to access the shaft/rod, but put a nice access door to cover the hole for future access. I had to call Gold Seal on a Sunday after a pipe burst under my house. They quickly sent a master plumber who had all the needed parts on his truck. After he replaced the bad pipe, he also inspected for more problems and fixed another broken faucet, greatly improving our back yard faucet location in the process. While repairing other pipes in the laundry room he discovered that there was a problem with the wiring on the water heater which was installed by another company a few years ago. I was able to get a consultation with Gold Seal Plumbing the same week I filled out the form on their website, they were very quick to respond and always provided a curtesy call when the plumbers were on the way to our house. Steven and Stan (there was a different guy there as well on the consult day, but Im so sorry, I forgot his name!) were fantastic on the repair day, which was able to be scheduled the day after the consult. They worked super quick and cleanly and were able to fix a leak in our sink drain pipe easily. Nice guys too, easy to talk to and very personable. I had some sticker shock on the price because Ive never had to get anything like this repaired before, but it was less than a competitor, so Ill take that as a win. All around, if I need anything to do with plumbing done, Ill definitely reach out to Gold Seal again.

We contracted with Gold Seal Plumbing for some sewer line work and set us up with an appointment date. Were retired and have flexibility for dates and times which enabled G.S.P. to get an earlier date/time. Journeymen Robert S and Jake B got to our home early in the morning and reviewed previous notes about the needed work. They were both professional, courteous and explained what they were doing in detail. We were able to watch the sewer camera to see exactly what they were doing. Shortly before finishing the work they contacted a City inspector about getting the project inspected. Luckily he was in the area and got there just as they were finishing. They pushed the camera down the sewer line and showed him the patch sleeve tubes theyd installed and the work passed inspection. They were able to get the 2 sleeve project done in one business day. We are very grateful to have them do the work in less than 8 hours. Being without a sewer line means we had to go elsewhere to use a sink and toilet. We strongly recommend G.S.P., everyone from the receptionist, dispatcher and plumbers have been great!!!

Dont expect a bargain, because their services are expensive. However, their office staff is responsive and if you leave a message, they WILL call you back. Their plumbers are professionals, and will explain everything theyre doing, and give you an accurate estimate up front. Every time Ive used Gold Seal at my home, they have had short notice availability. I fully trust their staff to make the repairs to my old house competently. At a previous employer, we also used their services and always had great service. I have used a cheap plumber and the savings were short-term. Every repair Gold Seal has done have stood the test of time.
