Jordan Arce and his assistant Hector arrived on time and proceeded to install our new York 13.4 SEER 2.5 Ton Air Conditioner in a workmanlike and professional manner. They installed the AC unit and connected related copper tubing and wiring for telemetry and power in less than a day and conducted technical evaluations and testing after the installation. They hauled away the old unit and thoroughly cleaned up prior to leaving. Both men were knowledgeable and friendly and open to our questions. I would highly recommend these workmen to anyone seeking a highly professional installation of heating and cooling equipment.

Just had Woodward replace our furnace and a/c. After our old unit failed, we had 3 companies provide quotes. Woodward had by far the best prices on multiple configurations. Also had the best financing option. They arrived when scheduled and completed the job as expected, then showed my what all they did, what changed, and how it all works. We had Brian and Art as our main technicians, as well as other supporting personnel. It was a great team and they made us feel comfortable through the entire process. I highly recommend.

Justin and the entire company have been amazing through this entire process. When I originally called, they came out same day to provide an estimate. Work to redo and install support for our main line was complete within 5 days of approving the estimate (with a Thanksgiving holiday in the mix). They also ran a loop for a future water softener in the garage. Something that I was told by another plumber would be nearly impossible without building an outdoor structure, on the other side of the house, to store the softener. The price was great and the service was excellent! Justin was knowledgeable, courteous, and showed me before and after photos from his job done under our house. I will definitely use them in the future for our hearing, air, and plumbing needs!

Had a New Furnace & Heat Pump installed in July and all has been working great. Ryan came out to do the initial inspection/estimate and was very thorough, listened to all our feedback about our current system that wasnt working as well as we wanted, as well as our future plans (solar power installs) to guide us to a great Heat Pump as well as a furnace as a secondary heat source for those times that it gets super cold and the Heat Pump isnt as efficient. Ryan has also been available to answer any questions Ive had post install and I look forward to getting a quote from them in the near future for a water heater. I had a tankless water heater installed at my home and couldn’t be more hyped with the work and customer service that Salem and Alex gave me. They arrived when they said they would, they were kind, professional, approachable and respectful. They had no problem answering all my questions, schooling me on the various components of the job and ensuring that I was taken care of. There was a little bit of a mess left behind, but these two guys are the reason I will use Woodward again. Nothing against the managers or estimators or whoever, but I truly hope that Alex and Salem receive the recognition and compensation deserving of such hardworking dudes. Had a problem with the gas fireplace. Jeff was very nice and explained exactly what the most likely problem was. Turns out it just needed a diagnostic check and a little cleaning and it works great now! I like that the text notification that the tech was arriving soon included Jeff’s name and picture. That’s a nice touch. I wish the company serviced the boiler for our hot water and in-floor heating because I’d switch over in a heartbeat because of the level of service.

The estimate and job were done the same day, and it was far less costly than Evergreen Plumbing. Shon and Just did a fantastic job in re-piping our house. Firstly, they were very prompt, arriving as discussed followed by an alert they were on their way with mobile tracking as well. They explained everything, made recommendations for improvements and only shut the water off when necessary. They completed the work in two stages: kitchen first then rest of the bathrooms and laundry. They added centralized irrigation and hose bob shut off valves to protect against freezing and thoroughly insulated all of the pipes. We highly recommend them for any large or small jobs.

I contacted Woodward Heating and cooling on August 28, was able get us an appointment on September 17th between 2pm - 4pm. We received a text and email (photo of Tech) at 2:07pm Shawn was on his way. I believe he arrived about 2:30pm give or take. Shawn was very friendly, took his time and seemed knowledgeable. The price for annual maintenance for both furnace and AC was not bad compared to other companies. We were pleased on overall service.

Travis was timely and tidy. His team efficiently installed our heat pumps hitting the scheduled installation time. He cleaned up end of each day, spread tarps to protect floors. On completion, we received s tutorial on our new units. He explained it all including what normal maintenance should look like and situations where we should call for service. Ray demonstrated a thorough understanding of the product and the installation process, distinguishing himself from a typical salesperson. His ability to explain everything clearly and concisely left a positive impression. While I have not yet made my final decision, based on this initial interaction, I am inclined to consider moving forward with Woodward Heating, Air & Plumbing of Salem. I will provide further updates as I continue the process.

Woodward Heating is South Salem recently installed a new York HVAC unit in our home. We got bids from different companies, but chose Woodward due to not only a very fair price but their reputation for reliable and honest work. Our installers were Jordan and his brother Hector and they did an outstanding job. They even went beyond the scope of the job to correct two old problems that we have had for many years just because we mentioned it they took care of it for no extra charge, very impressive. We are happy with the equipment so far and delighted with the company. I highly recommend them for your HVAC or water heater needs.

We had a complete replacement of our HVAC system, from the top down. Technician Jordan Arce and his crew showed up nice and early and got right to work. They were respectful and courteous, they even tolerated my hyper and barking dog. The amount of work they were able to finish in one day was really amazing. They took the old unit out and installed the new one in about 9 hours. A couple of days later Christian Giffin arrived to clean our ducts and a couple days after that Brian Robertson arrived to inspect the work. All the workers and crews were amazing and the work they did was much appreciated. We are enjoying our new system and clean ducts. I can not stress enough how hard I would recommend Woodward Heating to friends, family, and even a stranger or two.

They did a phenomenal job of asking our preferences, went above and beyond to make sure final installation looked clean and professional, and offered overall great customer service during their appointment. Jeff showed up on time and got right to work. Took his shoes off as he entered the house. I showed him where the heat pump and furnace were and he set up his equipment. Checked out the system and everything is working well. I asked about the nest thermostat that came with the house and we had a great discussion about it deciding what temps are best for me in opposition to what I want. We both could not figure out how to disable the “I know better than you “” part of the thermostat. He told me about Honeywell thermostats and that they’re pretty easy to install. Great conversation. Our tankless hot water heater had been limping along for years. A local company charged us a few hundred to try to repair it without success. The service rep from Woodward came out Monday, and promptly diagnosed the problem. We ended up replacing the old, undersized unit on Friday. Since Woodward installed our heat pump and whole-house filter, we now have problem-free clean air at the right temperature all through the house. We got quotes from 3 companies and decided to hire Woodward to replace both our furnace and our air conditioner with a heat pump. The top-of-the-line Mitsubishi heat pump installed by Woodward wasnt cheap, but it was less expensive than one of their competitors quoted for a similarly-rated heat pump. The Respicaire ion plasma filter Woodward installed continually cleans the air and requires very little maintenance. When Ive had follow-up questions about the heat pump and the thermostat, theyve sent one of their technicians to my home at no additional cost. Theyve always come out when they said they will, and they clean up the work area before they leave. Id recommend Woodward for heat pump installations because of their expertise, their attention to detail, and their willingness to resolve issues.

Then when it came time for the install, again, we were able to get on the schedule quickly and the guys were amazing! Personable, polite and kind and when they were done they vacuumed the area inside the house and blew off the area outside where they were working. The spaces looked better than when they started. Heat pump and air handler installation went great. Both Jonathan and JJ were very professional and informative. Had a small leak that required a second visit. It was located and fixed. Only hiccup was that clothes washer drain hose was not put back in the drain. We ended up with water draining into the garage completely soaking everything in its path.

I was having issues with my heat pump not cooling or heating to the point that I needed to reset my system quite often. When the technician, Brandon Noonan, came out to do my fall maintenance checkup he found that a wire was loose. He made sure that there was a secure connection. He also found that the lockout settings on the thermostat were not set. He changed the settings and said that would improve my heat pump efficiency. So far my heat pump has been working great. I would recommend Woodward Heating for all your heating and cooling needs.

I dont usually do reviews but feel that the outstanding work by Christian of Woodward Heating and AC deserves commendation. Besides being very skilled in all aspects of his job, he goes above and beyond to satisfy the customer. I had an new AC unit installed and he worked hard to level it in a difficult area, including removing some of the retaining wall, and later, adding directional venting to the dryer outlet nearby. He also changed out the venting above the water heater, making it straighter and more efficient. He answered all my questions, and gave me his card and said to call him any time if I had any concerns about the system. If only there were more people in this world who were so courteous and efficient!Also, Id like to commend the entire Woodward team, beginning with Ryan, who came out and gave me the bid for a new AC, and also new venting on my gas water heater. Id taken bids from 3 other local HVAC companies, and none had come close to the detailed info Ryan had given me. He brought up issues and options that other companies had skipped over, helping me to make a more informed decision on brand and size of my new AC. His bid was competitive for what I was getting, in fact it was significantly lower than some other companies. He patiently answered my questions, and showed me a spreadsheet on my options for a larger house size. Hes the reason I chose to go with Woodward Heating, his knowledge and helpfulness in finding the best solution.Id also like to commend the other 2 workers, whose names I dont recall. We called Woodward Heating because we suspected our 66 year old duct system was leaking warm air into the crawl space. They sent Ryan out and he inspected our duct system took pictures and confirmed what we suspected. Ryan is a very pleasant and knowledgeable person he throughly explained our options of fixing or replacing the ducts, because of the age of our sheet metal ducts we opted for complete replacement and asked him to quote us on a new efficient gas furnace (ours is 34 years old) and a heat pump. Ryan worked up four very detailed proposals emailed them to us to look at. Then came out and went over the options with us, explained the discounts and rebates that he was able to apply. Shon arrived promptly at the arranged time and proceeded to investigate the dilemma while asking numerous questions to completely understand the situation. He then excused himself and went to his service vehicle to prepare some estimated costs. After about 15 minutes he returned and presented several written options, each with price estimates. We elected to proceed with one of the options that Shon outlined. And, then Shon provided a start date which was not even a week out! WOW!Prior to starting our job, Shon and I had a couple of telephone conversations to discuss some changes to the scope ofwork. Now, fast forward - work has been completed. The materials provided were all first class, commercial grade quality and Shon’s attention to detail was second to none! After double checking his work, he showed me how to make a temperature adjustment, if necessary down the road.Finally, we have a sufficient flow of not just lukewarm water but, actual hot water so we can actually use the spa tub in our master bathroom! There was no hard sale to replace or a sense of emergency just good information.Rather than wait for my system to fail or create a severe health emergency I am shopping around getting estimates and researching options.I want to emphasize the level of courtesy Woodward delivers. They give you a time and their person shows up. I didn’t have to sit around with a two hour window waiting for their person to show up! They respected my time.I can’t say that about their competitor who didn’t show up in the initial two hour window. I was called 30 minutes into my window saying their guy was on his way but getting lunch first. He showed up two hours after that and then took another two hours to review and measure my current system, as well as work up and provide options and estimates. I lost almost 5 hours of my day! Not cool!Both the service technician and the estimator showed at the scheduled time AND I received a text letting me know they were on their way that also had a name and photo of their employee so I knew it was really them!I am waiting for my estimates from them but the customer service will also be a factor in my choice!

Its been over a month now and weve been able to use both the Furnace and A/C in that time, and both have functioned well.The only thing that would have made our experience better would be in how the financing options were presented during the quote process. The same as cash option showed a per month amount. What was not communicated to us during the quote process was that the amount was the minimum payment amount per month to keep the same as cash deal, not the minimum amount we would have to pay per month to pay the loan in the time allotted (which was significantly higher). It would have been nice to have known that our actual monthly payments would be more than what was displayed in the quote software.

Top notch professional. Called him out for an issue with low water pressure issue. We were worried it was a leak. He ran all the tests on each faucet, and showed me the meter at the road, explained everything he was doing and didn’t stop there. He showed me too so I could understand everything that was being done and translating to lay person speak. In the end, music to my ears. It was not a leak, but every faucet had hose splitters that reduce pressure and wrong type of hoses that did not allow water to flow fully. Could not have hoped for a better experience.

Leonid PereplyotchikI had ordered Woodward Heating, Air & Plumbing companyto install a high efficient climate system - heat pump and Air conditioner. The company have send me all information about oncoming appointment. The technicians came on time and started an installation a system. They did this complicated job very professional. In approximate 4 hours they did de-montage my old gas furnace, install a new high efficient furnace and Air Condition equipment. Then as a courtesy they removed my old Air Conditioner from the window and put it to the garage. The technician explained me how the new equipment work, then how to setup the thermostat and test equipment.I wish to thank these good guys for their excellent job for me wish them good luck.My best wishes to all staff of this company,Leonid PereplyotchikJUN 11 2024

I bought a home in 2020 with the wrong furnace installed by another company. After several attempts to fix it with them I went to Woodward who set me up with the right furnace. They arrive on time and completed the install in about half the time they scheduled. Super clean job with two helpful fellas. They even taught me how to better use my thermostat. Good job.

The air intake is so quiet now with the new grill! Wow! Thanks again!Kyle came out to check out the problem with why there was very very little water coming out to fill up the soaker tub. He efficiently discovered and fixed the problem!I certainly will recommend Woodward for my heating, air conditioning and now plumbing needs!!!
