I don’t even know where to begin when expressing my appreciation for Eric and his expertise. He did all the plumbing on our two bathroom renovation and helped us achieve what we thought to be the impossible… (i like impossibly beautiful antique furnishing that go against Massachusetts code- but he installed a special valve making it all compliant and my beautiful bathroom dreams come true!But also- he identified some issues with pipes in our basement and gave us realistic time frames of when they need to be replaced. THIS is the kind of thing that I appreciate.We’re grateful to have Monkey Wrench as a business I know we can trust- they’re there in a pinch and make time for emergencies and we’re forever grateful!

There are a few professional where you need to find someone of the highest quality, mechanics, electricians, and plumbers come to mind. Once you get a good one, you hold on to them. Eric from Monkey Wrench plumbing is one of those people.We had a corroded shower value and fixtures that were causing a terrible vibration in the pipes, and prevented us from turning down the water temperature. He not only replaced the faulty components, but found and fixed a leak in the wall, adjusted the temperature setting, and supplied quality materials himself. We were taking scalding showers for months! In addition he was able to replace the sheet rock piece he cut out of the wall, which was beyond his contractual responsibility.Overall it was an outstanding job. He’s a keeper.

Eric is the most professional person Ive ever hired, and the best communicator. My entire drain stack in a 1900s 3-family needed to be gutted and plumbed from scratch. Eric planned out the work needed to be done, and did it to code without mistakes. He has great relationships with local plumbing inspectors, and everyone I know enjoys working with him. He has extensive experience with everything related to plumbing and renovating houses: furnaces / boilers, steam heat, vents, drains, laundry hookups, radiators, toilet / sinks / fixtures, tubs and etc. He knows the plumbing code better than anyone. Eric from Monkey Wrench responded right away with my Water Heater issue. He noticed my circulator pump was running very hot and needed to be replaced. After changing the circulator pump I had hot water back in my house immediately. Eric also thoroughly looked into my boiler and hot water system to make sure I wouldn’t have any future issues. Eric helped me out in the pinch. I run an HOA in Lynn and one of the vacant units boiler wasn’t working during extreme low temps. He fixed the boiler within a couple hours, got the heat working. He also setup new shut off valves to be able to shut the water off on 3 frozen pipes going to the kitchen and bathroom. Really personable and reasonable with his prices! Thanks Eric!
