My project was a new sump pump in my crawl space. Mr. Rooter came and did everything in a very timely and efficient manner. Colby was the name of my plumber/technician, and he was very experienced and knowledgeable about sump pumps/crawl spaces in general. He was also very personable and helpful throughout the process, and the cost was way less than a few other companies that I had contacted re the same project. I feel fortunate that this project went off so well and that my plumber/technician was so great. My experience was very positive, and I will definitely hire Mr. Rooter ~ and request Colby by name ~ again.

I had a mess in my front yard the clean out opened up and nasty stuff came out. I called Mr. Rooter and in less than an hour they were here. He gave me the estimate to hydro power wash the roots out and cleaned the lines out. I agreed in less than an hour later everything was opened up. He did give me an estimate to replace the pipe so the roots couldn’t get in again. I plan on calling them again in the spring to get that taken care of too. The guy who came out was very nice and friendly. He got right to work. His name was Flannery. I highly recommend using them.

First of all, I needed to have my new kitchen faucet installed. I called on a Saturday morning, just hoping to make an appointment for next week. Michelle offered to have someone to me within the hour!Ryan arrived well within the hour and completed my installation in 45 minutes. The bill was reasonable and without an up charge for working on the weekend. This company and their employees are outstanding!

I called another plumber in mid-July who, after inspection, told me there was no leak. We left town. When I returned I still suspected we had a leak so I called Mr. Rooter. They found the leak right away and fixed it in short order. From office staff to the actual plumber, they were extremely professional. This company operates on a fixed cost basis. In other words, they give you a firm estimate and then you decide whether or not to proceed with the work. Personally, I really like this approach. If you have plumbing issues in Mr. Rooters service territory, I would highly recommend that you give them a call!!!

Levi went above and beyond to help us. Since moving into our home three years ago, we’ve had nothing but problems. Numerous plumbers have come to assess and clear lines. Levi was the only one who stayed until the job was done. We had a basement drain overflowing and assumed the drain into the sewer was broken. Levi worked on our system for hours, finally getting his scrubber down our main line about 75 feet and making a 90 degree turn and up another 50 ft, clearing what we thought was an impossible task. If he hadn’t done that, we were days away from breaking into the foundation to do a pipe repair. We cannot thank him enough for his willingness to get the job done. 11/10 would recommend him to anyone.

Ryan P. came out quickly and very professionally assessed our situation and made recommendations about what we should do without pressuring us. He found the problem and worked alone to replace our hot water heater and fix the leaks in the wall that were causing mold growth. Weve still got to get that cleaned and rebuilt but at least the leak is gone and the problem isnt getting worse. Weve had them out before for a different issue and they were courteous and professional then as well. I hope we never see them again but if we need a plumber well call these guys, no hesitation.

I called Mr. Rooter Plumbing-Salem, OR on Saturday to request a washing machine drain clearing. I was so surprised to learn they could send someone immediately! In addition, there was no minimum service call fee and if, after the estimate was given, I declined service, there would be no charge. There was no extra charge for weekend service and rates were by job, not by the hour. When the technician arrived, he introduced himself and assessed the problem. Miguel was extremely knowledgeable, gave us great advice and proceeded to resolve the problem quickly and efficiently. He was very tidy, cleaning up spotlessly after he was done and even reconnected the dryer vent which had to be disconnected in order to move the dryer to get to the washing machine drain pipe. Very noteworthy is that in addition to the issue of needed repair, I was dealing with a new home warranty company that allows customers to pick their own contractors but requires a pre and post repair phone chat with the technician. Miguel was very patient and thorough in his interaction with the company and the repair was approved. I really cant say enough positive things about this experience. I want to mention that Alex, the person who spoke with me to arrange the repair was kind and considerate in answering my questions and arranging for the technician to come out the same day I called. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and their service and give a big shout out of thanks and appreciation to Miguel, who was such a pleasure to work with and to Alex, who arranged it all. Thanks so much, Mr. Rooter! If you need service, keep in mind that there are other plumbing services that charge a $340 flat fee to have their service tech just park in your driveway. If a repair is done, the $340 goes toward it. If no repair is done, you are OUT $340 just for requesting a service call! Dont get taken by this highway robbery...I almost did! Im so glad I kept looking and called Mr. Rooter! I hope you will too!! :)

A week ago we called on Mr. Rooter due to our gas water heater had quit working. Within the same day service men were at our door and into our attic pinpointing our problem. Sean Bryan and Matt Cooper sized up the project and began making phone calls to find out where to get a similar product. Fortunately they found a 40 gal unit but the dimensions had changed. They began to see a way around this and were ready to begin first thing the next morning. From the get go these men worked as a team. Their professional manner gave us great confidence that we had picked the right company for the job. They were respectful and careful in removing the old unit and in bringing in the new. They worked quickly and made a difficult job look easy. We were also impressed with how personable they were and how helpful they were at explaining the warranty and operating instructions. Finally, we were pleased that the price that was quoted to us was the price we paid. Mr. Rooters flat rate policy is hands above the competition. If the need arises in the future I would not hesitate to call on them again.

I had water bubbling up from the downspout into the pipe that goes to the street. Brett came out within an hour. Assessed the situation which was a collapsed/crushed corrugated old pipe. Charles and brett came back the next day and gave a bid. Brett was able to replaced the drains that same day and happened to find another crushed pipe piece. He fixed everything and even ran a camera through the rest of the drains to make sure they were flowing. Was happy with the service. Between finding the problem, calling mr rooter and Brett coming out to fix it , was all within 24 hours.

The two technicians assessed the situation, outlined my options and then proceeded with the work. Their technicians were professional and thorough; the new water heater works great. They could have stopped there and I would have been quite happy. Instead, they went beyond the job requirements and performed a second repair at no extra cost to me. My kitchen faucet was running slow on the hot water side. They found a clog at the hot water shut-off valve under the sink, cleaned it out and fixed the problem at no additional cost. Thats a level of customer care youll rarely find these days. 5th time weve done business over 10+ years; Ill call them the next time too. Highly recommend the Salem team to all.

Service was great. My reasons for going with Mr. Rooter was they were willing to wave the price of the estimate. Of all the places I contacted, you paid for the estimate and if you went with them to do the work, only then would they credit you the cost of the estimate. I DO NOT pay for estimates. Second was the one price no matter what, everything covered.I recently had another reason for using Mr. Rooter. The service line from the meter to my house had broken, and started to leak into my day basement and left me without water service. They came out within an hour of my call, explained my options and exactly 24 hours later, I had a new service, water, and peace of mind. Twice this summer I needed plumbing help, and they took care of me. I will call nobody else.

The technician Joe was very professional, polite, and went above and beyond for our resident to not only find and fix the problem but also check other issues while he was there that our resident mentioned. Joe was very precise, courteous, clean, and quick to diagnose and resolve the issue where other companies were not able to do so. They even came out the same day we called to get the job done, no waiting for days for an appointment was also wonderful. My recent experience with Mr. Rooter far exceeded any of my expectations. I always try to hire the small business/local guy for all of my household needs but no one was available to help and I needed help immediately. I called Mr. Rooter as a last ditch effort (from now on they will be the first place I call, always.) I was able to secure a same-day appointment when 6 other companies were at least a 10 day wait. The person who took my call was extremely helpful, professional, kind, and answered all of my questions- and I had a lot of questions.My technician showed up on time and got strait to work. Hes was extremely friendly, courteous and obviously an expert. He took time to explain to me the entire procedure he had to perform and told me what it would cost upfront. He was very thorough and patient with me as I had many questions for him as well. Once work began I was very impressed with the tools and technology Mr. Rooter uses to get the job done quickly and efficiently. After a very short amount of time my technician found the cause of my problem, fixed what could be fixed at the moment, and led me in the right direction to get my plumbing repaired by the people responsible for damaging it. (A utility company has drilled through my sewer line which allowed roots to enter and block the drainage.) He was absolutely everything you could ask for in a service technician: prompt, professional, thorough, knowledgeable and beyond patient with my constant barrage of questions.I will recommend Mr. Rooter to everyone and anyone who asks who to turn to for any plumbing or sewer needs. Called this morning because object got flushed down my toilet . Women who answered was very kind and helpful. She found a crew that was already working nearby and they came out 2.5 hours later . No drive time or estimate charge . They were the nicest guys - the price quote was upfront and really reasonable - no surprises on the bill . They did the work walked me through everything- total professionals. They gave me a coupon for $25 off . They checked with me to make sure I did not have any other issues while they were there - gave me some tips for the future. I will absolutely use this company again - from start to finish one of the best experiences I have ever had with a company. One of the men was training the other one and I could tell from what he was telling him that their company practices are all about honesty and communication with their clients. Highly recommend !

I had my house earthquake retrofitted and was advised some plumbing may have to be temporarily moved so that the house could be anchored to foundation. Mr. Rooter came highly recommended to me by a neighbor. The gentleman from Mr. Rooter who bid the project gave pricing that seemed high but plumbing isn’t cheap and I wanted the job done well with backup guarantee if anything went wrong. When Mister Rooter plumbers arrived to do the job, they quickly assessed that the their bidder had not taken some things in to consideration and that the job would be considerably more expensive. This is when the on-site Mr. Rooter plumbers collaborated closely with the Terra Firma retrofit professionals onsite and found a much better way to do the job without moving a pipe. Resulting in no need for plumbing service. Which saved me a lot of money. For which I am very very thankful. AND Mr. Rooter charged me nothing for their professional assessment. All that to say is Mr. Rooter’s initial bidder may have overlooked some things but the professional plumbers actually doing the job saved the day. It was a bit of a rollercoaster to the final assessment but I am thankful for the good outcome.

Approximately 1 hour later I was called back to say Hunter was on the way and would be 20 minutes or so, he arrived right about that amount of time,which I find amazing, so Kudos to them. Hunter, (A very nice young man) assessed the situation, gave me the price and I told him to proceed. As I live in an older Mobile home, the drain pipes are smaller than what is required by todays codes, this made the job more difficult. Hunter worked hard to get everything flowing again. I would definitely call them again if needed, I would even request Hunter for the Job !

SUCH A RIP OFF! I paid over $300,00 to have my outside drain cleared only to be told It’s broken and can’t be fixed???? I asked for an estimate prior. Said no,we don’t know . I asked for same day service as their add states. No again, I waited a week. The tech was nice but couldn’t fix my plugged drain but still charged me over $300.00!!!!!!! Never again. ........ I received a phone call from Keri at Mr. Rooter the day after I posted this regarding my complaint. She was extremely nice,apologetic and offered to have them come back out free of charge to fix the drain line or refund part of the bill I paid. I opted for them to come back out. The supervisor and seasoned employee came out and fixed the drain pipe. I have an older thin pipe and a root in the way. They got it to drain and offered a big discount if we wanted to have it dig up and replaced.. They were extremely nice and obviously care about their customers. . Thank you Mr.Rooter. I really appreciate your excellent customer service and quick response and remedy to my complaint. You’re awesome 😃👍🏻

Flannery did a great job for us. In July of 2021 we had a competitor called American Rootor come out and charged us almost $700! They left without ever getting the drain completely cleaned out. Flannery immediately noticed that the drains vent was plugged solid. He replaced that but we were still not draining. Flannery went at the plugged line with both a brush and a snake, over and over. He spent 4 hours or so and finally the clog cleared. OMG! There was grease pellets, rocks and other grease debris everywhere. But it was worth it. Mr. Rootor should keep this guy! He is awesome and cares about you.

My kitchen sink was badly clogged and after self attempts to hand auger using both a 25ft 1/4” auger (that we could get through completely) and a 50ft 1/2” auger (that got hung up at ~9ft) with no luck unclogging the drain, I was sure that a power auger was needed (or something worse was underfoot). I called one Local company for emergency service and did not receive an answer, so I left a VM (3 days later and I still have not received a phone call back). Tired of not having a kitchen sink, I called Mr. Rooter and they were able to schedule me in within 2 days. Not ideal, but at least they were accommodating and was also placed on standby. Collin was punctual, friendly and competent. I really appreciated his organized approach and respect for my home. He was able to clear the drain and made several attempts to run water to ensure that the problem was solved. I paid $275 for the drain clearing, which seemed reasonable given ranges I had researched online. I’m sure I could have rented a power auger for cheaper, but Collin’s professionalism and efficiency was worth the cost. I spent NYE and New Years Day flighting with the two hand augers, dirtying towels and finding buckets and tools, so an hour on a Saturday morning was nothing and worth not exerting the effort. Further, he was able to recommend maintenance tips to prevent future clogs. I highly recommend Mr. Rooter. The experience from the moment I called through repair was effortless and pleasant.

Around 7:00 this evening our toilet plugged; we thought it was just something like too much TP, so we used a plunger. At first that seemed to work but then a few minutes later tons of water started flowing out of the toilet. We called Mr. Rooter because they advertised as 24/7. Not only was working with the scheduler easy and efficient, Sean the technician was great to work with. He figured out the problem and gave us our options in a very clear, straightforward way. After fixing the issue that had caused the plugging, he explained to my husband everything that we needed to do in order to avoid ending up in that situation again; Sean didn’t hesitate to go through it all again with me because I hadn’t been in the room the first time. Sean was relaxed, confident without being arrogant, and was genuinely happy and kind. He saved us from a nightmare and we are truly grateful!

I have been having issues with my sewer line for a little over a year now. About a year ago my bathtub backed up with sewage so i called Mr. Rooter out to clear the line. They did what they could and got the line clear. They also gave me all the information they gathered about the poor status of the end of my sewer line. After that i had them replace a small section of the line that we thought was the biggest part of the problem. When they had the line open we were able to see that it was not in the best state. He again was very upfront about what he was seeing and gave me as much detail about the issue and what needed to be done. I will be using them for any work that I cannot do myself. I would also recommend them to anyone that needs work done, because they stand by their work and I did not feel like I was getting taken advantage of. Bret B. is the kind of straight forward person I value when making choices about who to give my business to.

A local professional, Brett, was dispatched in about 90 minutes to come evaluate my concerns. Brett communicated what he was seeing so I understood the issue. I had roots causing a blockage in my main sewer line which is why the backup was periodic. Brett gave me some options for clearing the roots and told me what to expect during the process, roots might not be the worst of it since I have an older, cement line. Luckily, was the roots were out of the way there was no major damage to the sewer line and functionality was restored. They guarantee their work.

The one thing I would recommend is quoting the price of the job prior to the job as we were caught by surprise on the cost of 542.00 just to install the toilet and haul the old one away. He told my wife it was standard, though we were quoted 279.00 elsewhere.

We’ve worked with Sean from Mr. Rooter three times in the past two years, all for separate issues. What I take away more than anything is that they genuinely want you to know how to avoid having the same issues. I’ve learned a bit on maintaining a septic system and garbage disposal from this to avoid future expenses. Some things can’t be avoided, but it makes the cost more bearable knowing I’m left with an idea to avoid paying for it again

I was having an issue in the main bathroom of the home, very slow flow when flushing or showering, and sewage backing up into the bathtub and toilet when the washer would drain.Matthew Olemun and Cameron arrived, evaluated, gave me a price and went to work. They were patient and persistent about figuring out the problem and solving it (albeit temporarily, due to my ancient pipes) but everything is working as it should for now. I could not have found a way to improve the service I was provided by George Wilson. Professional, courteous and efficient; he had a great attitude and I would recommend Mr. Rooter Salem to keep this guy on the team. If the other employees are similar to George, theyre doing something right with the training. I was doing a TV camera inspection of the sewer main on a property in development in Lincoln City, and they beat their competitor by 75% pricing-wise. Full marks.

Sean did a great job of clearing the blocked drain and fixed a problem of a leaking drain connection with new sink drain. Work was very professionally done and got 1 year warrantee on the work done. Will use again if I need more plumbing work.

He got the job moving quickly and completed it in the time he estimated, even though I kept trying to derail him. The whole team was professional. The weather was certainly not in their favor but they worked through it. I will say it was a Premium cost but, in my opinion, worth it. There were many water lines, etc., they managed to keep them all intact. A coax was disconnected but repaired. Everything was checked out to make sure all lines were good. The whole crew was friendly, professional and certainly worth hiring for any job. I would certainly recommend, at least, consulting with them, and, hiring them.

This is the best plumbing company I have ever used. Mr. Brett Brammer couldnt have been any more tenacious finding and solving my plumbing problem on Fenton St. in Dallas. I will request him every time I have a problem. After his visit I havent had a problem in Months. Ive used numerous companies to fix a simple clogged pipe then having another come back out 3 or 4 weeks later. Brett Brammers hands didnt stop moving the whole time he was there. I was seriously considering throwing in the towel and digging up my front yard like all other plumbers said I would have to. There is no way you should give Mrooter anything less than 5 stars. Especially, especially if you use Mr.Brett Brammers. My only regret was not having money to give for a gratuity. Just Saying
