Great service! Excellent work, professional workers, friendly. $510 an hour is a lot though. I dont know many professions that make $4000 a day, but I didnt expect plumber to be one. Working full time thats $1,040,000 a year. Seems excessive, maybe Im crazy. But they got the job done fast, and I couldnt do it myself. Overall, happy with the service, a bit shocked at the cost.Also, they advertised urgent service in my area, but it was 24 hours before someone got out here to fix it.

Our main septic line between the house and tank needed replacing because of repeated root invasion by a nearby tree. The job was done in 3-4 hours, as quoted, and the water was only out of service for about 45 minutes. The cost was at the low end of the estimate, and the technicians were very good about explaining everything they were doing. I recommend this company.

I called Roto-Rooter to take care of a severely clogged toilet (a repeating issue). Justin and Marcus were dispatched and arrived within an hour. Both are very knowledgeable, personable and helpful. Of course they fixed the toilet (expected). I was pleasantly surprised when they took the time to also explain the causes of the clog and what to do to avoid problems in the future (totally unexpected but greatly appreciated). If needed again I wont hesitate to call RR and Ill definitely ask for Justin and Marcus.

We had an emergency with our sewer drain pipe yesterday 2/24/24. Called these guys explained the situation, ( we were leaving for my dads funeral in about 4 hours ) but needed them to come see if they could fix our drain. They showed up quickly on a Saturday, gave me a very reasonable estimate, and went to work. It was a tough job, but they got the job done, and even sent a camera through the system to ensure there were no further issues. It initially started great, someone came out and quoted me a flat rate to clear my drain, then didnt charge me when they were unsuccessful. For this reason, I was happy to schedule an appt to have another technician come out to quote a price on replacing the drain, and as soon as Mikayla came out to replace the drain it went downhill from there. Between getting incorrect information from her and several times no response to my emails, and this last time I emailed on Thursday with no response then again yesterday with still no response. Its been nearly 3 weeks and my drain is still waiting to be fixed. So Ill now be getting quotes from other companies because Mikayla from Roto Rooter cant be bothered to get back to me.UPDATE 5/10/2024: Mikayla herself reached out to me before the company even responded to this review, and not only did she sincerely apologize for the breakdown in communication, she went above and beyond to make things right and delivered on her promise to fix my drain at the very first opportunity to be able to do so. Very pleased with the work and with Mikayla and Id not only hire Roto Rooter again but Id ask for Mikayla.

We called Roto-Rooter, as an option as we live in the countryside towards the Coast and very few people want to travel 30/45 minutes to earn $350+ or more an hour...From our first contact the schedulers were in constant contact...with times and arrival...first to arrive was a plumber....who didnt complain about the distance or remoteness, new what he was doing and talking about...sized up the problem and called for a clog tech...to come outas I wondered a little to myself... the tech promptly showed up... and within 30 minutes the problem was solved..I have been a contractor most of my life, plumbing not being my specialty an I am a little older stiffer and retired... I was very pleased to see a company, still in business, with prompt. professional, intelligent people who want to work and care about the customers needs an listens....over the years I have used this company several times, however not in 10 years or so....plumbing is hard work and takes a special kind of person.... and like any skilled trade is not cheap...these people surprised me from start to finish.... having owned an run large companies...tha is not an easy task.

All star company with some absolute MVPS on their payroll today I had an issue at one of our Portland properties. Two units had toilets that were backing up into the tubs we have had this issue before and we needed a plumber right away! Sure enough we get the best damn plumber I could have asked for. Trevor was very knowledgeable friendly and helpful beyond belief on this situation. In my opinion he went above and beyond for us and the tenants living in those units ensuring the job was done and they had functioning plumbing. They cleared the main drain line and resolved an issue with another drain that we did not even know was there. I am looking into getting my employer to add you guys as a preferred vendor so we can continue to use your services. These guys were great and had good attitudes even though it was a long day. Really happy with the service provided by Dylan, tech 4051. They were friendly and ready to get the job done, cleaned out my bathroom sink drain in no time at all. They even showed me the little filter on the faucet that traps the debris and how full it was, so that’s good to know that I should be checking that. Just overall a good experience. The price for the drain cleaning seemed steep, but any Plumbing work is always expensive, and since there’s a six month warranty I think it’s worth it. Also happy that we placed the service request on a Monday and the tech was able to come out the very next day- fast service! Would recommend in the future.

I was very impressed by the service, they came to my house within a couple hours of me calling. Greg ran the snake into the pipe and cleared the clog but suggested we send a camera down and found there was a piece of wood that was in the pipe that had to fallen in during construction as the size was too large to have been flushed. They did a great job documenting their findings since this was a new build and clearly was not the fault of the home owner so we should be reimbursed by the home warranty.

Josh a plumber from Roto-Rooter came and investigated a reported broken pipe under our home. He showed me what had occurred and removed insulation that had been soaked with a lot of hot water. Josh explained that we would need to dry the area out more before the repairs could be made. He kept us informed and repaired the break and my husband and I are very pleased with the great service we received. Thank you Roto Rooter.

The next morning I contacted my tenant and everything was working great. The technician phoned me shortly after that and explained what caused the problem. This was our first time using Roto-Rooter and we would definitely recommend them and use them again. We had a toilet back up on the Friday evening before Memorial Day weekend. We called at 8:00pm and immediately received a call from the office stating they would have someone out the following morning. Taylor showed up at 10:00am on Saturday morning and immediately diagnosed the issue (grease build-up in the line leading out to our septic tank). He flushed the line, inspected it with a camera and was able to show us the interior of the pipe. His advice was to have it cleaned, which he also did on this visit. Taylor was great - professional, friendly and knew his stuff. We appreciated him explaining everything to us and also allowing us to watch him work :) Roto-Rooter will be our first call for any plumbing issues from now on.
