Applause, applause for the wonderful job John Donovan did replacing my entire heating system in 2017. I interviewed 3 firms for the job and John was honest and fair in explaining everything to me. His work was impeccable and his manner professional and yet he is an easy person to talk with . As the work progressed he answered all my questions with total clarity and patience. He was prompt in arriving each day and completed all the paperwork necessary for me to finalize the MA SAVE LOAN that i qualified for from the Enterprise Bank. I have the highest praise for the job he did and have had no problems through the years...and now it is December 2023! Call on John for your plumbing and heating needs.. He is truly a MASTER ! Called him on Saturday “ with a true emergency “ he answered the phone even though he is on Vacation. Told him my problem, he said sorry but was on vacation. Then he gave me the steps to fix my issue. Went way beyond what he needed to for someone he does not know and has never done work for. I had called my plumber, no joy! So started looking for plumbers in my area, even though he did not come out he still took the time to help me on vacation! I don’t know many people that would have done that. Going forward he is the guy I will call for all my plumbing problems/needs.

If you are in need of a new boiler or any plumbing work, consider Donovan Plumbing & Heating. Highly recommend!!My boiler had to be replaced & I was not looking forward to the process of figuring out the best boiler & person / company to install it. It was the biggest home improvement job that I’ve had done for my house. Some companies ignored my calls and / or didn’t get back to me. Not the case with Donovan Plumbing & Heating. From the very beginning it was obvious that John Donovan was very knowledgeable, experienced, & very easy to work, plus he came highly recommended so I decided to go with him. I did not regret it!John worked with me in finding the best product to meet my needs. I had what seemed to be millions of questions & John patiently took the time to explain to me everything he was doing. Donovan Plumbing & Heating got my job right into the schedule & communicated well every step of the way. Work was done beautifully. My son is an electrician & I wanted him to do the wiring to save me some money. So, John made sure to take the time to explain everything to me. He came back later to check to see if my son had any questions & then came back again to make sure that everything was in perfect working order to keep us warm this winter. Donovan Plumbing & Heating really went over & beyond for me!!

Our water heater starting giving trouble. A small leak, then a week or so later it became major. I was trying to find a water heater and have it replaced in a hurry. Luckily I finally found John, he realized our desperate situation and wanted to help. He rearranged some things and made this job a priority. He listened to what I wanted for a heater but after thinking about all options I decided on a different system. He gave me the best advice! He basically saved me from a big mistake! John quickly got my heater replaced and actually came out to do a temporary fix so I could turn the house water on again. He does top quality work and has the experience and knowledge to do the job right! What I also appreciated most was that I knew right away he was a plumber that I could have complete confidence in and who was very trustworthy!!

I had a difficult Installation of an old hot air gas furnace, John Donovan replaced the furnace with a new high efficiency boiler, new hot air handler and also changed my 40 gallon hot water heater that used to run out of hot water. He suggested an indirect water heater heated from the boiler. He installed it all for less money than i got quoted for a replacement of the hot air furnace alone.THANK YOU!!!

John replaced my water heater and repaired my furnace - work was done efficiently and reasonably priced and he even managed to get the water heater replaced by the manufacturer as he knew the brand offered a lifetime warranty. He returned after the work was completed following-up to ensure that the water temperature was comfortable and to check on the operation of new equipment. All work was explained in detail and damaged parts were shown. Highly recommended!

Had John come out and take a look at a leaking propane hot water heater. Based off the setup of my current system it made more sense to go electric. He had the replacement hot water heater at my house the next morning and was able to install everything quickly and efficiently. He even got an electrician for me to take care of the wiring. I will be going back to him for sure.
