Cory and Tim provided excellent plumbing services to repair our gas line leak. We had no idea we had an issue at all with our line (never had a gas smell inside the home) until standard maintenance repairs were done by contractors for the city and/or gas company, to re-run lines from the street to our meter. The gas company was unable to reconnect our service at that time (due to safety) because of the leaks identified in our homeowner-responsible portion of the line.Rudd plumbing was able to provide same day service. Cory and Tim were very sensitive to the timely nature of the problem (winter with a gas furnace), financial considerations due to the unexpected and immediate need for repair, and were kind in going through the repair options for us.We had several areas of concern in our gas line, all of which were attended to and repaired. Cory and Tim contacted the gas company to re-inspect and reconnect our service once repairs were made.It was initially a very big and unexpected issue, and Rudd was great in helping us navigate it and repair things safely.

Jacob worked for us repairing 2 toilets and replacing some drain lines in a narrow crawl space under our home. He took photos and showed us what the problems were, explained repair options, and provided estimates. Jake did a superb job - he is very knowledgeable and has a great personality and sense of humor . Weve used Rudd Plumbing many times over the years and highly recommend them . Jake is an asset to the company.

Rudd plumbing was the second plumber that I called. The first plumber came to our house due to a leak in a room beside the bathroom. After cutting 2 holes in our walls, spending an hour in our house and charging us a lot of money the first plumber told us that they had no idea where the leak was coming from. I called Rudd because of several recommendations. They came at the time that we expected and didn’t spend much time to tell us it was worn out grout. Then they took the time to explain how they came to that conclusion, which was spot on. They checked a couple other possibilities, not leaving until they were absolutely sure that that was the only problem. I would have saved a lot of money and frustrating if I called Rudd plumbing first!I highly recommend them!!!

We first discovered Rudd Plumbing at a time when we had problems with a water heater and we needed prompt assistance before the leak became serious. We called Rudd after a friend recommended them. And it was true. Rudd did give prompt service, removed the old water heater, and replaced it with a new one. Same day service! They cleaned up any mess and all began functioning perfectly. So when the kitchen faucet sprang a leak this year, we called Rudd Plumbing and set a time for them to come. They arrive on time and replaced the leaky kitchen faucet right away. They also discovered a leaky pipe under the sink and it also needed replacement. Again, the workmanship was outstanding and the problem was resolved efficiently. We were quite pleased with their work, that they were prompt, did a great job, and cleaned up after themselves. We knew we would again call Rudd Plumbing when we needed them and they would promptly take care of the problem.

Each and every one of Rudd Plumbings techs that came out to install my new water heater are welcome back. From the moment the first crew showed up, they were friendly, professional and very cautious in my home. They answered all of my questions without making me feel I was interrupting them. In addition, they actually cleaned up after themselves.We have had several different types of companies do work in and around our home, and there are some technicians that have come out that I would not have back.The minute Rudd Plumbing crews left, my wife remarked that they were the most professional we have had out on our property. I would definitely use Rudd Plumbing again.

02.19.2021 [Snowmageddon FEB 2021]Early Wednesday Morning (02.17.2021) we had a pipe burst in the ceiling of our dining-room that was feeding an outside faucet. After having the City Of Bullard Respond after hours to shut the water off within 10-15 minutes of the call, I called to get on the list with Rudd Plumbing and left a voicemail. I got a call back later that day, they apologized as the trucks were not running due to road hazards and would dispatch a truck as soon as the roads were better.They called before heading to my location today and quoted a price before repairing the pipe. Once the water was turned back on they waited, and we are glad they did, there turned out to be two more punctured copper pipes. Due to the number of repairs that they had already performed the other two leaks had to be cut off and capped. [Thats alright because the snow-covered grass doesnt need any water.] Even after the additional caps were added they stuck with the originally quoted price. They also left the burst pipe sections for our insurance adjuster. We will be scheduling with Rudd Plumbing to replace the sections that were capped once the Adjuster can make it out to assess the damages.We have used Rudd Plumbing on two other occasions (Garbage Disposal Replacement and Water Heater expansion tank leak); each and every time we have had a pleasant experience, professional, and courteous service. Thank You so much!

The only thing better than supporting a local family owned business is when they do amazing work. To be upfront, I do not live in Tyler anymore, but I have an investment property that had a leak over the weekend. I wanted to write this review from a landlord perspective because Rudd plumbing was responsive, helpful and took care of the issue - making things incredibly easy for me being out of town and my tenant who relayed to me how the tech was kind, quick and easy to work with. Highly recommend to anyone needing reliable and affordable service!

My house had a sewage smell we discovered shortly after moving in. The plumber through the home warranty could not find a problem, so we lived with it for over two years thinking it could not be helped. Finally, it got so bad, we called Rudd for a second opinion. They did a smoke test, found a hole in a pipe in the wall and replaced it. We havent smelled a thing since and are thankful every day we do not come home to that smell! The plumbers did a great job and were courteous and respectful. I highly recommend Rudd!

We had a leak in our master shower that was draining into a bedroom and soaking the carpet. Jason was very kind and quick to identify the issue. They had to order a part to complete the repair but he let us know ahead of time when it would be in and he made a temporary solution so the leak would do no further water damage in my sons bedroom. The repair was fast, they were very polite and extra sweet to talk with my busy toddlers who wanted to know what they were doing. Great costumer service. Would highly recommend!

Our experience demonstrates, Rudd, is a Tyler, Texas plumbing, company you can trust.The alarm on the hot water heater was triggered by a leak. My wife had a local plumbing company come out and to fix the leak they quoted almost $3,000 to replace the hot water heater..We called Rudd to get a second option. Rudd found the leak was from a seal on the recirculating pump, and fixed the problem for less than $350.Way to go Rudd

These guys have been extremely patient through some hurdles of my new construction project. Theyve come out a couple of extra times and have really saved my project timeline. They fixed pipes that had been damaged, installed a temp drain, and fixed another leak that got knocked out of place quickly and professionally. JN has been my go-to for any issues and Nathan has done excellent installation work. I know other teammembers have been out here, but didnt catch everyones name. I recommend working with them if you have any plumbing needs.
