Very fast, knowledgeable, respectful, courteous, very thorough! What a great job and customer Service top-notch!! 10/20/24. Well, it’s finally done. This was a long project to get taken care of because of weather. We went so long without rain and as soon as we broke ground, of course it poured Chris Randy and all the people at Woodfin has done a great job! I will say that all jobs are not perfect and things go wrong time to time Dealing with these men made this job 100% better great communication throughout the entire project. I would highly recommend their services and have already started a new project with them extremely happy customers. The McCoy’s!!!!

Great experience! The customer service, products, everything was great!!Salesman was great! Very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything. Ensured all questions were answered and ensured he was available afterwards for additional questions. Also you can’t beat the 0% interest rate!Installation for two units and two furnaces was great. They cleaned up well and was respectful of the property. Great customer service, not in a rush, took the time for customer satisfaction.Follow up: Tech support came out to recalibrate the thermostats as they were showing lower temps than actual temp. Called and got an appointment the next day. Tech was friendly, knowledgeable, and took care of the issue.So far I’m very happy across the board, no complaints!!

Phenomenal experience. Had an emergency plumbing issue early in the morning and the technician was here within a couple of hours. The technician (Anthony) was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. He diagnosed the issue and told me what I needed and what I didn’t need. Will use these folks again. Great company; great service.I have to add to my original review. We had an excellent experience with Zach (master electrician) a few months after our original call to Woodfin. We had an exterior post light that had been defectively installed in a brick retaining wall, making a repair impossible. Zach came up with the idea of using a low voltage alternative, which we approved. On the day of installation, Zach had been on call for the weekend and had worked until 2:30 am. Nevertheless, he worked at our house all day to make sure the install went well. The results are amazing (at least we think so). But more importantly, this level of service is unmatched in today’s world. Kudos to Zach and his colleague Chance. They are good people doing good work.

I had two wonderful electricians replace my breaker box today. They did a wonderful job, made sure I was prepared for the power to be off and kept me updated through the process. When they needed to come inside they wore protective coverings on their shoes which I found to be very courteous. They made sure to label all the breakers and show me the final product as well as do a through job of cleaning up after themselves. Im very pleased and grateful for their hard work.

We had a great experience with Woodfin repairing our boiler. It had stopped working suddenly and they were able to get out quickly to get our heat back on. Lucas, our technician, was excellent and cleaned the whole system and replaced the necessary parts. He was also really informational and helped explain where the issues were and how to ensure the system continues to work properly. I would highly recommend their team and had a great experience.

Brandon Day did the final stage of the job today by installing the gas logs. To say that I was impressed doesn’t do justice for this young man. Even at a young age, he knew his trade and had such a great demeanor. I would do business again with Woodfin just based on my interaction today.Freddie Hampton checked over the work done including a pressure test. He reviewed the punch list with me and went over the last details. He tied the job together and represented Woodfin in good fashion.

Tyler was very knowledgeable and knew what the issue could be. It was a low oil pressure issue. Since it was near time for my maintenance he offered and suggested doing it now. Then he noticed slow start issue from starter and orders one for it already. Also taught me more about my generator than I was aware of before today. Great Job Tyler!

Elizabeth (plumbing) was amazing. She was professional in her communications and thorough in her explanations of the immediate issues I needed to address and future repairs I would need to pay attention to so I could budget accordingly. She also was very detailed in documenting the problem areas so I would have a visual reference of what she was talking about. Would definitely recommend!!!!

Edwin came out to my house in Montpelier and did a terrific job. He helped restore my water replaced pressure switch and a valve. I really appreciate that he was able to get out here on the weekend before the holidays so that the family and I could have a wonderful holiday season. He also helped me pick up a service plan for my Plumbing which would give me the opportunity to speak to people at the office about other service plans that would fit offers. I would highly rate Woodfin and its employees to take care of any problems that you would encounter in the future.

I was able toymake the repair myself and I scheduled a follow up visit to fill the boiler. Lane took care of that as well and I couldnt be happier with the work he did. Scott from Woodfin came to our house to see what was going on with our furnace that had sudenly stopped working - when it was the coldest outside it had been in quite a while. Scott was very professional, and also very knowledgeable. He checked it out, determined the problem and went to work correcting it. Scott explained what had happened, answered any questions we had. We really appreciate his help and highly recommend not only Scott, but Woodfins as well. We have used them before and have always been satisfied with their service.

We’ve moved into an older house (about 100 years) and after multiple owners a lot of good and not so good work has been done on the home. Wood fin has been able to handle every challenge and request we’ve made since moving in. From adding light fixtures or new outlets to older electrical to furnace and plumbing needs they’re always on time and come in at a decent price. Their techs are ALWAYS super helpful and courteous. Couldn’t be happier with the work they’ve done for us.

The propane company we “inherited” when we purchased our home has become impossible to deal with. Deliveries repeatedly have been scheduled and then cancelled by that firm due to its inability or refusal to provide propane as promised. I chose Woodfin to replace this other company because it is a local business with an excellent reputation. William Davis was instrumental in validating my decision. He was very flexible in re-scheduling our appointments when it was necessary to do so, and he explained Woodfin’s program to my satisfaction. I look forward to a successful relationship with Woodfin.

Normally, I do not leave a review for the Service we receive however, today is a rare exception. Sam was more than professional. He didn’t just do the minimum, cut corners, or try to sell me things I didn’t need. He showed up and right from the start he introduced himself and listened to our issues and after listening to us ramble, he got to work to run down the problem we were experiencing. He didn’t stop, he didn’t complain and he found what the problem was! That impressed us so much we had Woodfin come out a give estimates on other things we would like accomplished. The Service provided by Woodfin was outstanding and with Employees like Sam, this house will be a Woodfin house for very long time! Thanks Sam for the excellent service Sir, job well done!!!!

Thank you.Sept 13 - After our installation of a generator on yesterday (Sept 12), our water was not hot. This morning my husband discovered the gas wasnt turned back on, so I called to report it. The plumbers came out this afternoon to check everything and discovered the gas was not connected on side where generator was placed or turned back on. The water is now hot. My husband checked the fireplace and it also came on. Thanks.Justin did a good job.Brian did a good job with the final connection and explaining all the features of our generator on September 19.

Reed Hammonds is the greatest. Arrived when he said he would. Friendly!! Listened to my problem , asked questions so we were on the same page. He didn’t jump to a conclusion but checked all the equipment before determining it really was the thermostat. Explained varying prices to replace. He even moved boxes in the storage room so he could get to the equipment and replaced them. He was also quite patient teaching how the new thermostat works.

I had gotten several quotes to replace my hvac system from all the big name companies as well as a few smaller ones. Woodfin was slightly cheaper than most but not by much. I decided to go with woodfin not for the price but because they do not sublet or out-source their employees like the other companies do and I feel like they are just more honest with their work. So, Rodney and the team came out on a Monday and finished up by Friday. Rodney and the team did an outstanding job replacing my full hvac system including all the duct work. They were very respectful and cleaned up as well. They also took care of other issues during the process (water pipe busted) without any worry. Excellent response to correct ServPro of Chesterfield’s cleaning of the heating/AC ducts under my home as they had not reconnected old duct tape or more importantly, had not added new duct tape where needed causing lots of crawl space ucky bugs and under the house dust to be pumped throughout my system and through my whole home for months. Damaging my new drapery, furniture, and chest/sinuses. The Woodfin technician discovered why I was experiencing such poor breathing health issues, bugs and the extreme fine dust. He was very personable AND knowledgeable. He corrected the problem by removing the few old pieces and adding new tape all over my ducts sealing them as would have been originally necessary. He also changed out my system filter inside my home to complete the job. I will continue to use Woodfin Heating and Air.

No matter how comfortable you are with a service or how customer friendly a service is the actual service is what counts. If something seems drastic or really pricey, get a second set of eyes, opinion to your problem like I got with Woodfin. Got quoted with a hard to swallow estimate to and on going problem with a company I’ve used and trusted multiple times , that seemed to know what and how to do things right. They had multiple service folks out that said this then that will fix the problem but it never did. Called Woodfin and Julius figured out the problem out within 20 minutes for a fraction of the cost where other company was going to have me replace a brand new furnace system ($5,500) because they couldn’t figure the problem. So glad thought to get the second option. Now two things I hope. One is that I don’t have to take this review down after a few days because they didn’t fix the problem and Second that I never need to get a second option from their work.

The pipe they removed from the kitchen was for some reason in our front yard? Perhaps it fell out when they were going back to their truck. They also left the old pipe under the house that they replaced, and a bunch of parts from the old set up, metal brackets and chunks of wood that was cut, still in the kitchen. So great plumbing work, would still recommend, but they could do a little better with the clean up. So if could, Id give them a 4.5/5. But the work itself, their politeness, and their quick response still made them worth a good rating!

They had my cc on file but failed to switch it in their new system. After I pointed out their mistake, there was no apology from anyone, at all, even when I told them why I was canceling. As I was told, he called just around 30 minutes before arriving. Asked me seems to be the problem with my Carrier Heat Pump, then went right into check out the outside unit first (where the issue seemed to be in my mind). He found the the fused were blown, replaced them and the cool air started flowing thru the vents once again. After that, he checked a few more components in the outside unit and found a few other fuses that will possibly go out soon. I agreed to have them replaced as well. He checked the inside unit, but aside from needing to make sure that the evaporator plan continues to properly drain, he found no further issues.

Woodfin is fantastic! We use them for plumbing, electrical, and hvac service. I have never been more satisfied with a company than Woodfin. If they ever offer additional services, I would sign up without a moment’s hesitation. Their techs are always professional and polite, they take the time to answer my questions and they never try to upsell or push something that isn’t needed.

Trustworthy and exceptionally thorough, he walked us through everything he was doing, explained everything that needed to be done in a way we could understand, and was exceptionally personable.Because of Jacob, we signed up for their yearly service plan, and were going to request him whenever we need assistance. I can only assume that Jacob represents the caliber of HVAC professionals that Woodfin employs, so we plan to stay with them for a long time!

Zayne was here today to do an electrical inspection (11/04/2024). He was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He called to let me know when he was on his way, arrived on time and did a very thorough inspection. He answered my questions, explaining things to me so that I could understand. He was courteous enough not to walk through my house with his shoes on, which was greatly appreciated. He went out of his way to wait and make sure I received the paperwork that I requested. He was also very helpful when I asked if he minded changing the batteries in my smoke detector. A definite asset to the Woodfin team.

IThis was a heater check-up and tune up. When person left, I asked where the old filter was. He told me the filter had been clean. Since it had not been changed in 6 months and it is always filthy after that time, I knew he had not checked it. Plus he had no old tape—that had to be taken off to even look at it. Given his lie about that, I could not trust anything he claimed to have done. I threw him out, called Woodfin and scheduled another appointment with a different person.Update. Above is still a one star review. Dustin was sent to correct errors of earlier rep. Proved that the earlier rep did not do the work. Dustin corrected all the omissions from earlier and did a great job. My 5 stars refers to his work. Apparently Woodfin doesn’t provide a way to distinguish?????

I had my first experience with Woodfin Home Team working in my home. Freddie called to let me know when he was 15 minutes away. Once he and his partner arrived they surveyed the area asked the questions that they needed answers for and immediately got to work. Their scope of work was to remove the 320 gal gas propane tank and install Woodfin tank. They took about 2 hours to complete and leak test. They were vey efficient and cleaned up afterwards.
