When I had a sudden flood of water coming from under my house, Advanced Plumbing responded quickly and sympathetically. Travis came from another nearby job to make sure the water was turned off and assess the situation and came back and fixed it the same day. All along, I was kept informed. He even showed me the old pipe and demonstrated how easily it had snapped apart. I’m grateful for a terrific job under pressure that was reasonably priced, too.

If you want honest and top notch service, advanced plumbing is on your side. After 4 plumbers and contractors telling me I had to rip my whole tub out to replace one part it turns out advanced came over and said otherwise. A simple fix combined with low cost and great service, they now have a customer for life. Would recommend them to anyone in Richmond and the surrounding counties.

John and Daniel were ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!Had a kitchen sink leak that we thought was coming from one source, and they thoroughly searched and tested sources to determine the leak. We were wrong. The cause of the leak was from a different source. They were able to fix everything in less than 15 minutes, after assessing it.They were very kind, helpful, and insightful. Laila, who took my call, was also helpful and offered stellar customer service. I highly recommend them.I dont know how one becomes a master plumber, but I am sure that is what John is. He was able to tell me the year when the horrible pipes we have were first used, why builders switched to them, and how they hold up against different kinds of pipes. His expertise is unparalleled.I was referred to Advanced Plumbing by a master plumber, and Im grateful to have used this company.

It’s easy to write a positive review for trade work when everything goes great and costs less than you planned. It’s easy to write a nasty review when everything goes wrong and costs more than you expected.Advanced Plumbing has given me the chance to review a job that did not go well and yet they made right.The gory details of what happened are not particularly important. We needed three leaky faucets and one leaky pipe repaired. It took longer than expected and cost more as a result. And everything wasn’t really fixed when they were done.After we (I hope fairly reasonably) communicated our concerns, Advanced Plumbing sent a technician back (for a few hours) to clean up the loose ends at no charge. The repairs were all done to our complete satisfaction. Then, on their own accord, they reviewed the complete situation and refunded us about 25% of the total invoice.I am sure Advanced Plumbing’s business model does not include messing things up and working for free. I’m sure they always want to get things right the first time and as quickly as possible. But when things went wrong (as they will for all of us), Advanced Plumbing stepped up and did the right thing. I’ll be calling them back.

We cant recommend Advanced highly enough. We had moved into a house which had some massive issues with a leaking sewer line (old cast iron pipes). We saw that it was leaking into our crawl space, but had no idea of the leaks origin - since it was coming down from somewhere inside of the walls. Justin with Advanced came out to give us an estimate, and was able to exactly pinpoint the leak after taking a quick look at our system. We were impressed, seeing as a different plumber had been out to the house to give us an estimate before Justin, and had completely misdiagnosed the issue.Advanced sent workers out within a week to replace the pipes - these guys were super courteous and informative while they worked on the line for 2+ days getting it all straightened out. They even connected an old sink and replumbed it for us while they were at it, even though it wasnt in the original contract. Well definitely be going back to Advanced for any plumbing issues in the future!

The owner of Advanced Plumbing called me back. After reviewing the situation he agreed that the second call should have been a service call, and he would be happy to refund the charge. Justin, thank you very much for responding. If I have the need for a plumber in the future I will give your business a call. Thank you.I called Advanced to fix leaks on clawfoot tub in bathroom. Plumber replaced overflow and drain and said it was fixed, $300.00. When he left and I cut the water on, the tub still leaked. I called Advance back, they sent out a second plumber, the next week. He tightened down original work, which he said was leaking, but now said I also had a leak at my faucet. I told him I would handle that as it was a new faucet. He then proceeded to charge me another $190.00 despite only working to tighten the original repair. He did nothing else. The lady in charge of scheduling, Julie, was very nice and professional in trying to resolve this for me. She went to her management, who lowered the second charge from $190.00 to $120.00. Nevertheless, I am unhappy to be charged for what should have been handled on the first call. How difficult is it to check out both faucet, overflow and drain for leaks the first time? Call backs should not be billed, again, for shoddy work. That was an expensive lesson.

We were hit with the unfortunate need to have our sewer line replaced, and Advanced Plumbing was recommended by our neighbors, who have worked with the company before. While we clearly weren’t thrilled by this need, the professionalism and care from the guys at Advanced made it bearable. Replacing a sewer line is a big undertaking, and the rate quoted for the work was very reasonable. They were transparent about the how’s and why’s of their work, and as with nearly every large job on an almost 80 year old home, there were some snags. These snags were NOT the fault of Advanced Plumbing (old city/old house), and they were handled quickly at no extra charge to us. I would recommend them to anyone and will be using them in the future.

I would like to say this has been a exhausting journey that taught me many lessons. It all started with a leak in the crawl space. Not having much experience being in a home, I took advice from others. It started with a home warranty, google search, then picking someone. I tried several businesses to include the home warranty. I came across Advance Plumbing and a perfect gentleman named Justin arrived for the estimate. He diagnosed the problem and advised the best action to take. It took a few days to get the quote back, so I tried others. The ones I tried were not as professional as Justin. When I finally got the quote from Advanced Plumbing, I thought the price was steep. While looking for a lower price, I picked up on things that struck me as odd from people not returning calls to plumbers mentioning using temporary fix solutions. Justin gave a permanent solution. I thought about it for a few days and chose right. A perfect gentleman named Travis did the job and I couldnt be more appreciative. Fast forward I had a minor problem with an unrelated clog. I missed communications with Justin so took a chance with the home warranty. It was a complete waste of time and money. The company sent was totally unprofessional and didnt give 2 cents about fixing anything. The clog ultimately got fixed by another plumber but it brought me back to this. Advanced Plumbing. I would give them 10 out of 5 stars. Be patient and let these guys fix the issues you my be experiencing. Dont let the prices chase you away. Advanced Plumbing have highly intelligent men and women on their team. You are investing in other people and their families as well. They did the hard part of getting the education and training and are damn good at it. Im the last person to kiss up to anybody, but these guys are without a doubt the best in the field. I highly recommend the organizations and stand by them. If you are having doubts, leave them now and look no future. I really dont write reviews, but its my duty to pay respect when its due. Advanced Plumbing is A+++. I will only deal with them from here on out. Peace and love family!

Referred by our neighbors when we needed a someone to fix a mess created by another plumber. Justin came out and did a free assessment and quote, giving us a couple of options and a lot of education on proper plumbing and options for modernizing in a 100-year old house! Felt like we were in capable, efficient hands from the start and they did not disappoint. Plumber who did the work was Bernie and he was fast, professional and pleasant plus did fantastic work--shower/bath looks great, no leaks, and he did some extra drain clearing for us too. We will definitely use them again next time we need a plumber and highly recommend.

Very positive experience! We have an older house that was continually seeing clogs in the sewer line. They discovered that some roots were growing into the line. Huge plus in transparency, they even shared the video from their scope. Their plumbers even went above and beyond to try to minimize damage to my wifes beloved pollinator garden which was right in front of the countys lateral.

I am appreciative of the excellent work that they provided at a fair price. The owner is well versed in working in older houses and has a great group of respectful, and competent technicians. Communication is important in a job of this size, and everyone (owner, office staff, and techs) strived to keep me updated about the project and progress. I recommend this company for larger, complex, residential projects where experience and competence are at a premium.

I had one small issue that none of us saw and they were back in no time to sort that out as well.Would absolutely recommend these guys for residential work. We hired Advanced Plumbing to install a tankless hot water system for our home and were absolutely thrilled with the experience. They had us up and running with a Rinnai RUR199IN tankless system in a day and a half with no disruption of service. Their pricing was comparable to other plumbing services in the area but they were able to work withing our tight timeline keeping all other trades involved in our restorations on track. They were prompt, professional, clean, extremely courteous and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. Absolutely top notch.
