Very good experiences with Gilk. I had water coming up in my basement and was very close to having a baby so I originally got a quote from another company that could come the same day but their quote was drastically higher than what I had paid previously. Gilk was able to get out quickly, the price was very reasonable, and I was able to come home from the hospital and actually use my water. Thanks!

Gilk came to our rescue within hours when we had a massive plumbing leak. Our supply water lines sprung holes in multiple places, causing major damage and what we expected to be a whole-house water line replacement. Pete came out to assess the situation within 2 hours, provided answers and much needed support. Thanks Pete!Gilk responded like caring, neighborly professionals. Within two days they were able to rearrange their schedule and fit in our emergency repairs. Phil M did excellent, timely, and professional work to replace the necessary water lines. He was methodical in his approach to replacing lines - only replacing what was needed.The communication and billing with Gilk from start to finish was reassuring, positive, and fair. I cannot recommend this company highly enough!

They came out right away in the winter when our pipes froze and fixed them fast. They re piped our house with PEX, added radiators to our boiler for heat. We use them every year for furnace maintenance. good prices, excellent work.

We have been fighting with our water heater for years. We saw Gilk at the Home Show and started chatting. They took down our number and called us on Monday. They came and gave us some tips and then came back to fix it promptly. They are also working with the company to help cover replacement parts that were ordered. Everyone has been so kind and helpful and we finally have consistent water temperatures!! We told our tech that he is our hero!! We now have new plumbers for life!

Gilk was amazing! We had always been pleased with their service of our 30 year old furnace. Then, last week when our 20 year old wall AC died, we decided it was time to upgrade to central air and replace our furnace. We obtained a few bids and Gilk’s bid was incredibly reasonable. On top of that, their responsiveness and service were top-notch! They had our new furnace and AC installed one week after our old AC quit working. They offered to provide temporary AC units to keep our house cool in the interim. They were even actually able to get it installed sooner than they initially had said they would. We felt so taken care of by everyone we dealt with there. I would highly recommend them!

I cannot recommend Gilk enough! We have used their services for both AC repair and plumbing since moving to the area. Every time they come out, they go above and beyond. The technicians are just fantastic. They answer all our questions and everything is explained in detail, so we always completely understand whats going on. Weve also had two emergency issues, and we have been taken care of immediately, including on a weekend. They are by far the best company Ive ever used for my home service needs. Call Gilk Plumbing, Heating & AC, no need to shop around.I couldnt have been happier or more impressed with Gilk this past weekend.My family and I arrived at our cabin Friday morning to find a leaking (spraying) well pump pipe and a broken toilet. Gilk was able to adjust their technician schedules for same day service and had Travis and Jake at the cabin within hours of my phone call.Both Travis and Jake were professional, courteous, knowledgeable and skilled - they had everything fixed and running great within an hour of arriving AND at a fraction of the cost that I was expecting.Ill be using Gilk for all of my cabin needs moving forward, including winterization.

I contacted Gilk about my furnace randomly turning off the gas. They came out to do an inspection and cleaning. I havent had an issue since their service. They also checked various duct and piping to ensure there wasnt any traces of carbon monoxide. I believe the root of my issues was a very dirty filter thanks to the winter months and running my air exchanger 24/7. However, the gentleman that inspected my furnace also found that the high pressure gas was set to high and dialed it back. Gilk will give you a proper service, and go the extra mile to discover other potential issues. Also, my advice, dont be afraid to ask questions. Theyll gladly tell you what theyre doing, and why. Youll learn a lot from them.

I contacted Gilk about a plumbing issue I was having. Eric their service professional came to diagnois the problem. He quickly discovered there was a lateral break in a water pipe leading to the basement. Because of the uniqueness of the problem he had a game plan, provided me with a temporary solution so I wasnt without my kitchen sink over the weekend. He returned prepared and ready to go Monday. I cant say enough about Eric, as he truly went over and above to assist us. Highly recommend Gilk they truly care about the customer, local company, honest & reasonable!

Gilk has been there when we really needed them the most, with exceptional service and great value at a very fair price. When our 2 old furnaces went kaput on the coldest day in January 2019 during the coldest winter in many years, Wendy had Dan & Ryan and crew at our place the next day to inspect, quote and start the project. When our basement flooded while we were gone due to heavy rains this September 2019 and damaged our new furnaces and required replacement, Gilk responded immediately and their quote to replace was immediately accepted by our insurance company. Gilk worked with our electric utility on rebates for our new heat pumps to replace old air conditioner units. Their advice and service have been outstanding and put our interests first.

Wow, these guys work fast! My water heater developed a leak on Sunday, so I called on Monday morning at 8am to request service. By 1pm I had a brand new water heater installed and working leak-free. Everyone who was at my house was very professional, they all took proper precautions both for safety and cleanliness, even going so far as to wrap a blanket around the bottom of the bad water heater so it didnt drip on the carpets when they removed it. I will definitely recommend Gilk in the future to anyone who asks.
