Walter at Newcomb was recommended by our Realtor to do some repairs after we closed.He was very candid and transparent about the work that needed to be done (Replace a 10yo Water tank with a tankless heater) and the risks of not doing it.Once we agreed, he had his crew come in less than a week to do the work. They are super professional, came in, had to reroute plumbing, gas and electrical and did without any mess in the house.After the installation was done, they worked with us to schedule a Town of Cary review.Highly recommended!

From the sales experience with Patrick to completion with Luke and his team of extremely knowledgeable technicians my experience with the team was stellar EXCEPT for a lady in the office. She totally jumped down my throat for not answering her calls (she said 4 times). One day later it surfaced that she had one degit wrong on her worksheet. Anyone can make a mistake but she jumped to the conclusion that I wasnt answering my phone when she had the wrong number. The field team gets 5 ✨ this lady gets a 1 ⭐ and that is being generous. I will always use Newcomb. I have known the company (loved Bo Newcomb as a friend) for 40 years.

We had a problem with our sewer line. Both toilets were backed up and the tub and shower were full of raw sewage. Harrison was here from 4:30 until 9:30 trying to clear the plug in the sewer line or at least open it enough to empty the tub and shower and toilets. He worked tirelessly and declared he was not leaving til the water flowed again. And he didn’t. Thank-you.

He had booties for his shoes to protect our flooring and carpet, didnt walk through the house with his bucket even though it would have been easier, and even took the initiative to clean off my siding from the grass the landscapers blew on it this morning when he saw it!P.S. Would love to always have him come out and do the service if possible.

I became a first-time homeowner in Dec. 2018. One of my earliest decisions, which has proven to have been one of my best, was to contact Newcomb and Co. and set up a Comfort Contract maintenance agreement for my heat pump HVAC system. They come twice a year: once at the beginning of the AC season and once at the beginning of the heating season and thoroughly check out the system and do maintenance and make repairs or recommendations as needed. At the time I moved in my HVAC system was only around 2 1/2 years old, but already had problems (it was not a good brand). The Newcomb and company technicians are consistently friendly, courteous, helpful, extremely knowledgeable, really good at their jobs and are true professionals. They have saved me a lot of headaches since I got the contract, and have expertly fixed problems as they arose.The need to replace the system, however, eventually became inescapable, so I turned to Newcomb and Co. to replace it. Their salesman, Brian Sculley, was courteous, helpful and respectful, with an encyclopedic knowledge of his product. He gave me multiple options and carefully explained the pluses & minuses of each and what to expect. I got the new system and I absolutely love it! The difference between what I had before and what I have now could not be more stark, and Im saving money both on my electric bill and because I dont need a repair once or twice a year as I did with my previous system.I give Newcomb and Company my highest possible recommendation.

I have had two excellent experiences with Newcomb and Company related to my HVAC system. We had a 17 year old system that needed to be replaced and received a few quotes before deciding to go with Newcomb. Our rep, Marcus, was knowledgeable, professional, and was always quick to respond to questions. The crew that did the install made sure to clean up after themselves and was very friendly. After the install there was an electrical issue with the new thermostats - they had a tech to my house within an hour and fixed it.Prior experience was over 3 years ago when our zoning system went. The sales rep showed me how to manually adjust our dampers vs installing a new zoning unit on a then 14 year old system, saving me $1000+.Great company and people.

The plumbers came to our home within the arranged time window. They were polite and attentive to our issues and they immediately diagnosed the problems and finished the work promptly. We had an issue with banging pipes when the clothes washer was running and we also had a leaky bathroom faucet. They put padding/braces on the pipes and this solved the problem; it was not a serious issue as we suspected. My wife also noted that hot water did not come to our kitchen faucet unless we ran another faucet in a nearby bathroom. They immediately realized that the kitchen faucet had a low flow nozzle; the flow was too slow to kick on our tankless water heater. They double checked the work when finished. Every things was done as promptly as possible and my wife and I could not be more pleased. Finally the cost was quite reasonable.

We have used Newcomb and Co for over a year now to maintain an aging HVAC system. Once in the middle of a heat wave, I called after midnight on a weekend, and someone was out early the next morning to fix the problem. Recently when the furnace finally failed, we decided to replace the whole unit and move it to a location much more accessible to the crawlspace access door. Within 3 days it was “out-with-the-old” and “in-with-the-new!” After working with Marcus to select an appropriate system, a fantastic team of plumbers, electricians, and HVAC experts made it happen. Nick and Grayson in particular, are to be commended for their hard work in getting it done on time. We were hesitant to make such a big change to the system, but now we have clear access to the unit and can easily reach it when necessary. Kudos to a fine team!

Called Newcomb in the afternoon after heater went out. They sent out a Tech, Richard G., the same day to diagnose. He quickly diagnosed as a bad blower motor/circuit board. He spent the extra time researching the issue and was able to determine the part could be replaced under warranty. This is normally a $1500 repair but was able to do it for labor only for $250 total (including initial service call/diagnostics). Appreciate the promptness and professionalism of Richard and the quick and accurate repairs.
