    Lawrence was on time (arrived about 4:15PM for a 3:30-6:00PM window), analyzed the situation, came up with a plan and an estimate which I approved and then over the next 5 hours on a cold night, working outdoors, he completed the work. The work was done professionally and it worked. He even helped me cover the outdoor water line (that heā€™d just replaced) with enough soil so that the line would not freeze. He was professional and worked without complaint. Iā€™d recommend him for any plumbing issue.

    The technician, Mr Tim, came back with the part needed for the repair. Iā€™m attaching pictures with the before, the temporary fix, and the final result after the part arrived and was properly installed. Iā€™m grateful for the excellent skills of Mr Tim, and for the customer care from Michael and Sons. They scheduled my repair in record time and at a fair price. I will be using them again for certain and highly recommended them! I now feel safe that my furnace is working safely and properly.

    Michael and Son (technicians Joseph and Jasper) did an amazing job replacing our main breaker panel and upgrading our electrical service last week. They were here,On one of the hottest days of the year so far, for 11hrs, working with Duke Power and the local inspectors, and stayed until everything was done without complaint. I cannot thank them enough for their professionalism and calm, steady work ethic. They made a stressful day much easier to handle.

    Joshua & his partner did a great job on the HVAC installation, they arrived early and were very professional. Brian the electrician did a fantastic job installing our electrical for our new HVAC system. He answered all my questions and gave me good information for future upgrades. Clean install & prompt service! Overall the whole Michael and Sons team was excellent. Lewis the sales rep was very informative and gave us all the answers and recommendations on what system to go with.

    I have utilized this company two times in the last couples months and their customer service has been nothing short of amazing. They are very communicative and have a great process of providing clarity and keeping you well informed through the entire process. Our technician this time was so kind and did a great job helping us out. (Evening having to work on Christmas Eve!)     Was very pleased with the prompt service from Michael and Sons. Logan was very friendly, gave me a thorough rundown of my options for my situation, provided a rug and took off his shoes inside the house, and was very helpful and courteous. Their prices were better than the previous maintenance service I was using. All in all it was a win-win.

    I called this morning as soon as we ran out of hot water and I saw the pilot light out. I couldnā€™t relight it because the control box was broken. A polite, calm and helpful voice scheduled a service call between 10:30am - 1pm. The initial fee was less than I expected. Josh called and showed up at 10:35. He gave an honest assessment and gave us several options to get a new tank. It cost less than we expected and we could finance it interest free and he had it installed in better shape than our original system within a few hours on the same day. Excellent service. Five stars. Will call again.

    I am not sure if there are enough adjectives to tell you how pleased I am with the work Jasper did. He and Luke were professional and very courteous. My job was not easy,but Jasper handled it with knowledge and was always happy and cheerful. He kept me informed with pictures of what he was doing and consulted me on any decisions that I needed to make.Jasper and Luke were very neat and respectful of everything.     Due to an emergency, I called Michael & Son at about 10pm. Meghan was friendly and scheduled for someone to come out first thing in the morning. She also walked me through a temporary solution for the night. David (technician) did an excellent job diagnosing and repairing the problem. He was knowledgeable, professional, and polite throughout the process. He explained the issue clearly, worked efficiently, and ensured everything was working well before he left.     Given the nature of my career I have had the privilege of moving around a lot. Its always an uneasy feeling when youre new to an area and trying to find someone trustworthy to work on your new home. I am grateful I got in contact with Michael & Sons, and even more grateful that they sent over Thomas Coyle to do the job. Yesterday our heat went out on us and considering the current weather we were not to thrilled.First I was surprised at they had an appointment available for the very next day. They gave a estimated timeline of when the servicing will be done, also even sent you a text with the technician thats coming. Thomas even gave us a friendly phone call more precise arrival time. When I say this man is a wealth of knowledge its an understatement. He explained everything about my homes system thoroughly and walk me through basic maintenance I could be doing to increase the lifespan and efficiency of my unit.     I would like to take this opportunity to recognize TRAVIS HARRIS and thank him for the work he did for me. This was an annual service inspection call on plumbing in my house. The inspection was thorough and educational. Travis helped also to replace my kitchen faucet sink that was due for a change as I had a leak taking place in few different areas of the sink. The faucet needed to be replaced so I am grateful he had the experience and expertise to be able to change it out for me that day while visiting my home. He was professional, patient in answering my questions, and kind and was a great help to me that day.     The whole process was extremely impressive. I called and was helped immediately, and they were super knowledgeable. Then received a text and email about the tech that was coming to our house, he then called me and gave updates on arrival. On top of this they had a system that tracked the techs car so I had a real time understanding of when they were going to arrive. The entire team was extremely kind, courteous and overall a great crew. Everyone was very good at their jobs. Couldnā€™t recommend Michael and Sons enough.

    Great personality. Was late to the scheduled appointment. Talk to the office and they said the would adjust the rate. This didnt happen even after I called the second time. There were no record of the first person I spoke with and the adjustments that was made. They did reduce the price of the part I had to get replaced. It should have been fully covered since the unit is only 8 years old. There was rust in the broken part. Obviously a manufacturing issue.Overall I was satisfied šŸ˜Œ

I phone because of a problem with a broken faucet outside and water running, and within an hour I had Frank Castaneda Arrive and immediately took care of fixing the outdoor faucet with ease.     Great experience with Michael & Sons, and I really appreciate they are able to perform annual preventative maintenance on Saturdays given my work schedule. Marcus was on-time, polite, and ran through the heating system PM efficiently. He clearly answered all of my questions and explained recommended options for longevity of the system. For example, the blower fan was dirty, which could be clearly seen by the images taken. Definitely recommend his expertise and quality of work!

    David is the best! He came out at 8PM the day before Thanksgiving to fix a goof up I made by attempting to change a light fixture myself. He was totally professional, personable, and fast!     Michael and Son got me scheduled same day to replace my faucets, which was an unexpected surprise since I had already had a service call and quote with another highly rated company who were unable to schedule me the three times I called. Their service charge was cheaper or comparable to the other plumbers I called and unlike some of the other companies, they applied the service charge to the work if you go with them. The estimate was also slightly cheaper than the first company I had received an estimate from.The plumber was very personable and walked me through what he was doing and why. After spending an extra two hours on my job due to unforeseen complications, he was ultimately unable to install one of the less consequential parts and gave me a partial refund on the originally estimated amount, which I appreciated.

    These days it seems that everybody wants a review on services rendered even the grocery store. I usually dont do reviews anymore because of the time it would take to respond to all the requests but in this case I will post.Mr Nick Cotter with Michael and Sons handled some plumbing issues I was having; stopping a leak and installing new faucets, emergency shut-off valves and toilet within the space of 3 hours this past Saturday.Nick was very professional, certainly knew his trade & did the job efficiently, neatly and when completed I was confident in the results.

    I am so very pleased with the service we received from Michael & Sons. An outdoor spigot at my mom and dads house was leaking so I called Michael & Sons to come and fix it based on the online reviews. They were able to come the same day, which I appreciated. Adam clearly outlined the issue, what he needed to do to fix it, and using a costing tool on his phone showed us exactly what it was going to cost, which turned out to be a few hundred dollars. I signed off on it and he got right to work. He was very kind to my dad, who wanted to know what was going on at every step. I will definitely be using Michael & Sons from now on. I highly recommend them, they are honest and they do excellent work.

    I submitted a ticket on a Saturday, and I asked for service on Monday. Ryan showed up, precisely on time, and was very polite and courteous. He replaced the toilet shut-off valve quickly, and he left the area clean. He noticed the fill valve in the bathroom, and installed that while he was at it (took him about two minutes extra, but saved me the headache!). He also did a great job of communicating costs to me in advance.Youre going to pay for contracted plumbing services, but this was a great experience and still relatively inexpensive. Glad I didnt have to do it myself, and Im glad it got done correctly. Ill be using Michael & Son again in the future.

Contractor completed pre-work inspection of our home and covered work areas to help prevent damage during the existing furnish and exterior unit(s) demo and new furnish and exterior unit(s) installation and pressure testing. David Spears and crew completed the new unit review, cleaned up their work area, sat down and explained the new unit O&M and new work in place was signed as professionally complete.David Spear also informed me that Michael and Son would schedule the final COD Mechanical Inspectorā€™s review.(which was completedI would recommend David Spear and Crew as well as well as the Michael and Son Co. for any HVAC work in the future.     Marcus came to my home this morning to do the seasonal tuneup of my heating system. From the moment he called on the phone to tell me he would be here in 8 minutes until he completed work and left, he was friendly, professional and very responsive to questions.     Laurence arrived absolutely on-time. From the moment I met him, I knew I was in good hands. I had sewage backing up in my downstairs bathroom. Laurence was able to locate the clean out trap, despite it being very hidden after an addition was built since the last time he was here (I had a similar issue a few years back, and Laurence remembered me).He took his time and communicated the entire process to me as he went along diagnosing the issue. The clean out trap had been relocated, but he was able to find it and clean out the trap.Laurence was able to clear out the trap and now all my toilets are working again!     Adam was a super helpful, capable, and informative technician. Our hot water heater burst early one morning and he was there first thing in the morning to start the repair. He walked me through what had happened, and explained all of the options for moving forward. He spent most of the day there doing the repair (since most of what was under the house was not a typical setup) and I was so thankful he was there! I would highly recommend both Adam and Michael & Sons, especially if you are in a panic like I was at hearing gushing water under our house!

    Iā€™ve got a service agreement with Michael and Son which I do love. What I like even better is the staff that they employ. This week I had pleasure of having William Wren come to service my HVAC. He was polite and knowledgeable on what had to be done. I never asked how long he had been employed by M&S but he knew his way around unit so Iā€™m guessing heā€™s been employed for a while. He completed all the work quickly and answered any questions I had. I would recommend William because of his professionalism and knowledge.     Mike exceeded expectations. He did a great job on the estimate and we scheduled to do the work. It was set for a week out but I got a call asking if he could come back the next day (Saturday) and we werenā€™t charged a surcharge.He measured twice, asked me to confirm I was okay with the location of the new outlet and ensured I knew how to test and reset the GFI plug. This is by far one of the best experiences Iā€™ve ever had with an electrician and highly recommend his work. We will definitely be calling Michael and Sons the next time we need something done.

    We called Michael & Sons to come out and investigate the AC unit to see why it wasnt blowing cold air anymore. The technician, Timothy Trainer, was able to come out the same day to diagnose the system and was able to perform a successful repair to get us functional again. He was courteous, professional, and able to complete the work in a timely manner, having all he needed on hand to make the repair. We will definitely be contacting them in the future should we need assistance. Thanks, Michael & Sons!UPDATE: Consultation for a new A/C system was done by Sean Dunbar, and he was able to arrive early, which benefited me. We walked around the property, he assessed everything, and was able to provide me the answers to our questions as well as make sure the quote was processed in a timely manner.

    I am an older Michaels and sons customer. Michaels and Sons installed my new AC/Heater unit in 2020.This month March 2024 I need an electrician to check my washers plug in socket. The washer wouldnt not turn off. Even the breaker outside in my electrical panel box wouldnt turn it off. I called Michaels and sons and they sent out their electrician Travis Phipps. He called ahead of time and arrived on time. I explained the problem. He checked the outside panel, all through my houses electrical sockets, he ran a few tests and he showed me that my washers electrical socket needed to be replaced and grounded. I also ask him if he could replace the box and on and off switch for my hot water heater. Travis checked the switch and said that would be easy to repair. Travis went out to get me an estimate.Travis gave me a price for repairs on the washer plug in breaker socket and then another price if he repaired both the washer plug in socket and the hot water heater box and the on & off switch.Travis was very professional and very polite.I agreed to repair both, and Travis was able to return the next morning for my repairs.Travis called ahead. He arrived on time. I own an older home and Travis had to rewire to replace the old washer (plug in) socket.Travis started at my outside electrical panel box, then up in the attic, pulling new wiring to install the new washer (plug in) breaker socket.Then, He replaced the box for my hot water heater and the on and off switch.He cleaned up and was finished within 5 to 6 hours.Michaels and sons is lucky to have Travis a professional, courteous, and polite young man representing the company.I know if I have future problems I can call Michaels and sons in Raleigh NC.

    I would to like to share my experience with Michael and Sons. We have experienced a few power outages and unfortunately our aged generator failed. I called many companies, not knowing where to look for service and called Michael and Son. They scheduled a technician the following morning (already a win!). To my surprise a technician, Lamar, finished another job early and asked to come out to look at the generator a few hours after my call. He stayed late that evening trying to fix the generator so we would have power and water. Unfortunately there were multiple components faulty. He was kind and explained options including a new generator. I decided to purchase a new generator and he explained many options to try to reduce costs. He was patient and explained the steps for the replacement. The receptionist Ashley was also very kind and patient and kept me aware of the appointments, times and even send a picture f the technician coming to the home. I just can not say enough good things about Lamar and Michael and Son staff. Top notch all the way, service was detailed and caring- you just dont see that these days. an not recommend high enough. I am so impressed.

    We worked with Miguel Rivera through our AC work after our unit went out in mid-August. Miguel was pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable and overall one of the best technicians Ive worked with.     Had a very good experience with Josh Litvak from Michael & Sons. Needed a plumber for fixing water pressure issues and other plumbing related needs. Since my trusted plumber was out of commission, I saw the Google reviews and called them. The appointment setup process was quick and handled by a human being - none of the robotic, IVR-driven, frustrating process. The appointment was available quickly, technician called prior to the appointment and showed up on time, patiently checked out all the issues, recommended the possible options and completed the job promptly. The technician was courteous and knowledgeable. They are certainly not the cheapest option but the work was done well. Will work with Michael and Sons again

He too was courteous, professional and thorough. He did his due diligence exploring all possible sources of water that could be causing the issue. The last step in this process was opening the ceiling where the water was leaking and sure enough, he found the leak. A drain gasket replacement and reset the drain, and now water tight. Jason kept me informed throughout the process, cleaned up and the job was done. I would highly recommend Michael & Son for your plumbing needs.

    The best service, top technician & he identified the root cause with solutions. He fixed the ac leak unit in less than 2 hours. No charge for the service, I only need to be on the annual agreement. The other major contractor came to tune up & quoted $2,300 to fix the leak by replacing the ac coil which is not the leak source.     Lawrence came to fix our plumbing issue today. Our toilet was overflowing when we ran the shower, and our kitchen sink, & shower were also clogged!
