    After a termite company accidentally drilled a hole through an under slab gas line in our rental townhouse, I wasscrambling to find a plumber to make the repair. Most companies that popped up on a Google search were large companies, that answered my call from a call center somewhere.A few other companies I called didnt seem interested in the job.I called Matthews and an actual employee answered the phone and immediately handed me off to someone that scheduled an estimator to meet me on site.I met the estimator two hours later, he assessed the job and scheduled the work for the next day.Norman and Scott arrived promptly, prepared for the job at hand. Throughout, they were courteous, professional and focused on the job.The gas line was repaired and tested in a timely manner, and job site cleaned to its original condition.Ive been in commercial construction for 30 years and based on my experience, can highly recommend this company to handle your plumbing needs.

    Tyler is wonderful! So nice and knowledgeable. He replaced the garbage disposal, stabilized a shower pipe in the wall, fixed a shower handle and will be replacing the kitchen faucet. Reasonably priced work done perfectly. He will be my plumber from now on!This is an add-on for Mathews Plumbing:Matt was just here and he did a great job installing some sink stoppers.     We’ve used Matthew’s Plumbing for a couple of projects, including installation of a new gas line for our stove, and installation of a new hot water heater.     I can’t recommend Matthew’s Plumbing enough! Nick was prompt, professional, honest and incredibly efficient. I had a leaking pipe that was causing a lot of stress, but he quickly diagnosed the problem and had it fixed the same day. The pricing was fair, and he even took the time to explain the issue and repairs. It’s rare to find such excellent service these days—I’ll definitely be calling them again for any plumbing needs!

    Matthews Plumbing installed our water heater. Something went wrong with one of the pipes about a year later and the system sprung a leak.     Tyler and Nick were great. They arrived on time for the initial assessment and explained everything about the need for a new well pump. They showed up the next day on time and got the job done. I dont remember the name of the third helper but all three were professional, focused and answered my questions. An excellent job all around.

    Weve had a couple of plumbers look at the problem with hot water delivery to our master bath. All came up with expensive solutions. Within 10 minutes of arriving, Tyler diagnosed the issue and was on the path to solving the problem - at very reasonable cost. After the fix, he stayed to ensure that the problem was solved in multiple areas. We are happy to have found a plumbing company with both great talent and wonderful good customer service.     Great service and highly recommend! I called yesterday for an appointment and was able to schedule a visit for this morning. Matt called with his eta and arrived ahead of schedule, which was great! He quickly diagnosed the problem for my sink and toilet leaks and also descaled my Rinnai water heater.     Great work, had an issue with high water pressure coming into the house a competing plumber quoted me 4k to basically redo al the plumbing and fixtures in my house. These guys came in told me what i HAD to get fixed and it only costed me less than 100o bucks. They even fixed it the same day, really appreciated the non salesmen approach they had and they actually wanted to fix my issue not just make the most money they could off me

    DaShaun was professional, worked quickly, respectfully and explained clearly what the water marks on the walls maybe stemming from since there appears to be no issues with internal plumbing (thank God!) His explanation/discussion tells me that he was being thorough. This was for a new construction townhome. Matthews had the best price and offers over the phone rough estimates where other plumbers wanted to charge to come out before they tell you how much they might chargesUpdate 8/23/2024 Another great job.Dashaun augered a clog in the other toilet. Came on time and unclogged it quickly for $248. Explained most probable cause was old short toilet as main was not plugged for other toilet and sinks. Very friendly and gave detailed explanations. Also told me about replacement options and costs.Update 11/13/2024Matt installed a new toilet and he and his partner did a great job! They had to caulk around it because my floor is not even and the caulking was good.

    Great work by Dashaun and co. I knew the water heater was on its last legs and appreciate their frank assessment that repair would be a waste of money. They wasted no time draining and replacing the unit and for a price less than what were quoted when we considered replacing it when we first bought the house. Also very thankful for the maintenance tips in keeping the new working for longer.

    Michael went above & beyond to get us quickly back in hot water when we needed a new heater.     Well folks, usually you only get to pick two out of good, fast, and cheap. Not this time. Out of all the quotes I got for replacing my 30 year old water heaters, Matthews Plumbing Solutions was the most competitively priced and quickly scheduled me for service. I provided pictures of my crawlspace where the heater was and explained the situation, then got an accurate and timely estimate. The team had my old water heaters out and the new one in no time, we didnt even notice the water stoppage. New water heater is performing perfectly and will definitely save us on our power bill. Less than a week from the first call to installation for a non-emergency job. Amazing.

    After Michael & Sons came out and gave me a ridiculous price for a quick job, I called Matthews Plumbing. They let me know a range over the phone and it was much more affordable. Tyler came out and he let me know the price (200 less!) and gave me a ton of tips for the future regarding the faucets I have. Tyler was super professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He was in and out quick and he did a great job. Also shout out to Patrick who was able to get an appointment for me before the weekend!

    Adrian Tellez was prompt to get to my house. Was earlier than expected which was nice because our main line to the house was having trouble. Adrian spotted the issue and even identified there was future challenges with the installation of the pipe within the handhole.     Had to have my house re-piped. Jerry and Tyler took care of the whole effort with minimal impact to the my drywall. There was an issue with my vanity sink in one bathroom that was already there. The drain was improperly assembled and the threads on the wall port cut off. It had silicone on everything. These guys replaced all that at no extra charge! The Price was good already. Far better than other estimates. Everything was done in about 6.5 hours. You cant find this kind of service these days. Well Done!

They were able to give me a ballpark quote over the phone and arranged for someone to come and take care of my plumbing issue between one and three that afternoon.     I hired Matthews Plumbing Solutions to complete a rough-in plumbing installation for a bathroom addition to the rear of our home. It required a completely new drain line to be installed from the rear of the home to a clean-out at the front (75 ft. run). He was professional, courteous, and thorough, hearing my description of the leaks, looking at the drywall stains, and crawling under the house to check for evidence of any water leaking through the floor. He identified what was causing the active leak and quoted a price to fix it. Instead of saying he should start cutting drywall to find what might have caused the other leak at one time in the past, which would have been additional work and income for him and his company, Tyler suggested I monitor the stains and contact them if I saw changes.I agreed to his repair quote, hoping he might be able to return soon to fix it, but he said he had what he needed in his van and could fix it that day! He took obvious care in the repair, minimizing any additional water damage, explaining what he was doing, and thoroughly cleaning up after he was done.I could not have been more pleased, and I definitely got my moneys worth, both in the work done and in advice. If I have the need for a plumber in the future Ill be calling Matthews Plumbing and asking for Tyler.

    These guys are the best! They are extremely helpful and enjoy what they do. I had an entire house that needed to be re-plumbed. I met with several other contractors for estimates, and these guys had the best prices and quality of work, by far. They scheduled and came out for the estimate quickly and with no fees, unlike many other competitors. Matthew and Sam did great work and completed the job (an entire house) in 2 days! They are friendly and only look to help you. Any recommendations are just their professional opinion. They didnt try to sell me anything or add on to the price as the job progressed. Ive had to call Matthews on two separate occasions: once to install a hot water heater in the Spring and most recently to rebuild two toilets.     These guys are my go to plumbers. I have recently done a bathroom remodel in my new (old) home in Wendell, NC. They were there to remove all the old fixtures and toilet for my GC to come in and do their thing.     I struggled with another plumbing group who worked with a home warranty company to get the kitchen drain working for almost a year. They came out five times and finally quoted me an outrageous price to finally fix it after all that. I declined.     Saturday morning water heater blow out, nice laundry room flooding and all!I got so lucky with this company from a quick search and reading reviews.The fastest response ever from a plumbing company.     I am so grateful to this company for helping me. Im most grateful that they sent Sam. Sam is one of the nicest young men you could ever hope to have work in your home. He took great pains to try and explain to me what and why he was doing the work he preformed, which was necessary, not a choice for me. He made sure I knew how to work, and was able to turn valves after he finished the outside work.He is soft, and well spoken. I know I drove him crazy talking to him, but he listened politely, never acting bored or annoyed. He even laughed occasionally. He wasnt like having a typical repairman working on something in your home. I would describe him more like pleasant company who seemed happy to chat as he worked. He smiled often too, as though he enjoyed his work, not like it was just another day at a job he had to show up for.I admit, despite how hard he tried, there were some things he attempted to explain I could not grasp.     Ive just started working with Matt after spending months trying to find a good plumber to use personally for my own home as well as for my rental properties. Matt came highly recommended from a plumber who is nearing retirement and isnt able to do as much work.
