    We have used Water Heater Experts for a few years and the service is consistently wonderful. We have a older home and John installed a hot water heater four years ago in addition to solving many interior leak issues in the house.     We had a great experience using this local business to replace and remove our old water heater, located in the attic. The owner, John, is very knowledgeable and does the installation himself.     John was referred to us by trusted friends so our expectations were already high, but I have to say he exceeded them.. by a lot.We had an emergency water heater situation that turned into upgrading and replacing not only the water heater (to tankless gas) but handling a few other problematic plumbing issues in the house that I had been either putting off or just didn’t know who to ask for help.Surprisingly none of this broke the bank, which was my biggest fear in addressing all of these various issues.Service, response time, follow up were all 100% and well.He also made entirely sure that I understood the new system, where and when it needed any maintenance, and how to get ahold of him pretty much any time.A+ would recommend to literally anyone (trying to get my Mom to go tankless as we speak)

    John is the best! He made a promise to come replace my broken tankless water heater the following day. On that day, the job prior to mine was more complicated than planned and he wasn’t able to arrive to start my job until after 6pm. I thought with it being pitch dark, only about 30 degrees and very late after an already hard day, he would cancel on me, but being a true professional and a man of his word, he arrived and got straight to work. He found my builder had installed nothing to code so my job was also more complex than he initially thought. He brought everything up to code and included the additional work and supplies in his initial estimate rather than adding additional costs. I recommend him without any reservation.     When the water heater stops working, its always an emergency and a dire situation esp if you have a wife and kids. I almost got taken advantage by a reputable big store company. Out of desperation, I frantically searched for an alternate solution but all of the other companies require that they come put to provide an estimate. At this point I really don’t have the luxury of time. Finally I found Water Heater Experts and was able to get a hold of John. To my surprise when I asked for the cost of a tankless water heater install, John was able to provide me a quote over the phone. To me this was a sign that I found the right company who is honest and not trying to upsell me a more expensive equipment. I explained to John exactly what we need and he was able to confidently provide me a reasonable quote and quite frankly it was a significantly cheaper than other companies. John was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the equipment I’m getting, he broke down to me how long it will take to install and the best part of it, he was able to come out and install that same day to the delight of my whole family.     John did an excellent job from start to finish. I had a tankless water heater with a circulation pump installed by John himself. He laid out all of the available options and never tried to upsell me on any product or service. He only advised me on what was necessary based on my needs. He spent a lot of time going through the details and price points, all of which were transparent and clear.I called him for a quote on a Monday and he was out here 5 days later on a Saturday. He was meticulous, very detailed, explained what he was doing and why, and worked diligently. He was in and out in about 5 hours.Compared to the “big box” retailers, he was far superior in the sales experience, the quality of service and price. The big box guys were tremendously over priced compared to John, did not take the time John did to run through the available options. They also never bothered to educate you on what you needed for your individual situation like John did for me. He runs a very good business and truly does take the quality of his work seriously. I was impressed with him in every aspect and would recommend him for any type of water heater need.

He came out to do this service for me at 10:30 at night and stayed until completion as this was somewhat of an emergency. I absolutely loved that he used copper piping and not the flex hose garbage.     I met John a few months ago when we asked him to come and evaluate our houses water heater. He immediately came in and noticed a few things and explained the benefits of having a tankless water heater. After the consult John left us with no influence to immediately have to purchase a new one. After a day or two he called to follow up with our consult where we agreed to go ahead with the purchase. His professional staff scheduled our appointment and John arrived promptly to install. He was a pleasure to work with and takes pride in his work.     John from Water Heater Experts came to our rescue on the same day! The Flexible line on top of the hot water heater was spraying water everywhere. The flexible line was a poor quality installation and guaranteed to fail in time. John used the best grade of copper pipe and installed a new 50 gallon Hot water heater in a matter of hours. He’s very knowledgeable about hot water heaters and plumbing codes. John is a perfectionist with his installations! I would certainly buy another Hot water heater from water heater experts in the future. Also, we previously purchased a whole house water filter to take the chlorine out of the water from John and it’s doing a marvelous job. We love our water filter!

    Our water heater tank had a leak and needed to be replaced. We had been thinking of going tankless and John the owner at Water Heater Experts made the decision really easy, especially when we knew a tank swap in the attic with a pull down ladder would be a real pain! We called them up and despite a busy schedule was over here the next day! John got here at 11 and was done before 5, which included complete new installation of a tankless gas water heater, draining the old tank, and bringing the house up to code! As we went to pay, he complimented our inside fireplace we’ve had trouble keeping lit over the years. He goes “oh let me take a look at it”...fixes it in two seconds! As a home inspector, I also appreciated how John educated me on some of the gas mechanical codes while he was working, and some things I can help educate my clients on.     I had a new tankless water heater and whole home water filter installed. I got 3-4 estimates and this company was the most professional and had a very competitive price. The Renai tankless system seemed to have the best long term track record, so I was glad to hear that was the system they recommended. John, the owner, was very upfront and didnt try to up-sell me on additional components, just gave me options and recommended a system that would cover our needs. I inquired about installing an ice maker in the house, and instead of just charging me and doing it, he discussed the pros and cons, and I ended up deciding to go a different way. I really appreciated that. John insisted on doing the work himself, and despite a very challenging situation in our crawlspace, he did the necessary work and even more, fixing some things that he noticed were wrong with the prior plumbing in order to make it more up to date. He definitely went above and beyond what he quoted me and I was really appreciative of that. I am very happy with my system and the work that John did. Just switching my old water heater to a tankless has lowered my monthly electricity bill by $60, so I am thrilled with that. I would not hesitate to hire them again, and as far as tankless water heaters and water filtration systems, I think they are the best in the business.

    The first call set the tone. I’m not easily impressed but wow, the guy that answered the phone made me feel right at home. His knowledge, passion for his trade and patience to speak to me for over a half an hour just to educate me was beyond refreshing. I approved a quote over the phone for a Rinnai tankless water heater and the job was scheduled within two days.Their warranty blew everyone else out of the water.     Sunday night I heard a strange sound coming from the crawl space under my home. I called the number provided after doing a quick google search and John answered the phone. After explaining my situation, John talked me through what to do immediately in order to stop the leak.     My water heater died after 16 years. I called a few companies in the area. Water Heater Experts was one of them. After speaking with John I was very impressed with his knowledge around traditional tank water heaters and tankless water heaters. In the end I ended up going with a traditional tank heater.John came the same day to install the new water heater. My wife and I were very grateful as we have a 3 month year old and the water coming into the house is very cold in the winter.I was very impressed with a few things:1. John showed up in a professional and clean looking Mercedes Sprinter van.2. John’s insistence on doing thing the right way – instead of the quickest way. His attention to detail was impressive.Our existing water heater was plumbed with copper pipe and a cheap copper flex pipe. Because our existing pipes were copper, John plumbed the new tank in copper as well. But he went a step further and removed the flex pipe and old ball valve. He then soldered in the new copper piping with correct 90 degree elbows and a new ball valve. No more flex pipe. This level or quality is unheard of. Everyone just wants to use PEX pipe now-a-days.He also installed a few items to bring the system up to code. He did this at no additional charge – citing their flat rate pricing.I’m a very detailed person. It’s very hard for me to find a service provider that I’m satisfied with. Water Heater Experts knocked it out of the park. I will not call any other plumber for any of my plumbing needs.

    I noticed a small leak behind my hot water heater in the garage. Figuring I should replace the 13 year old hot water heater at the same time I called Plumbing Experts.John G. the owner came to my home in person to assess the job. I was very impressed with the person and the work for the following reasons:- explained all the options regarding the repair as well as the water heater- advised preventative actions that will save money in the long run- taught me at the water meter how to tell if a leak exists- discounted me several hundred dollars due to a scheduling glitch- called water remediation company on my behalf once we could see the water damage behind the sheetrock- used copper instead of Pex for some critical pipe runs, which is harder to find today (see picture)- was meticulous about his work area and cleaning up after himselfYou could tell John G. took pride in his work.     I can’t speak highly enough about my experience with John and Water Heater experts! After purchasing our new home here in Charlotte, we were looking for a whole home water filtration system. So many companies out there overcharge or they are so booked out that you can’t get anything in a timely manner. After calling Water heater experts John showed up within 48 hours and had a whole home water filtration system. Not only that, but he took the time to educate my wife and I on how it worked and all of the important benefits. Nowadays, it’s hard to find quality customer service, and people who really truly stand behind their word But as you can see with All of the five star reviews, John is the real deal.The install only took a couple hours he even made sure that it was run behind our custom shelving and did a fabulous job all around with the install.I plan on having water heater experts back out soon to have a tankless water heater installed, and John is the only person I will call for all water heater / plumbing needs in the Charlotte area. Truly WORLD CLASS experience all around!
