    Casey and Ian did a shower install for me. They were professional and courteous throughout the entire process. We bought a house built in 1940, so there are challenges with fitting modern pieces into old spaces. During the process, Casey explained that there was a 2x4 dead center where the faucet would be so he would need to go slightly left of that. I agreed at the time and jokingly shared how it would drive me crazy each time I showered but that it is what it is. He took the time to think about alternatives and came up with a workable solution (cutting slightly into the 2x4) because he wanted me to be 100% happy with my new shower. In my opinion, this is above and beyond expectations. There were some other issues where there were gaps and spaces because of the way the house was built. Casey explained the issues thoroughly and possible solutions before proceeding with any work.This is the second time that we have used this company and I will never use anyone else for plumbing. They are reliable, professional, and transparent in their charges. Highly recommend.

    They got us scheduled really fast and every interaction from the initial call to completing the job was handled so proficiently and courteously. Ben Lollar was great and patiently explained everything to us, including our options, so we could explore several pathways that fit our budget. The initial call was for sewer clean out but we ended up getting estimates for several more issues while Ben was here. He is so knowledgeable and helped us figure out which fixes were more urgent than others. I will definitely be calling TN Standard to set up these fixes and will request Ben again!!

    Jayme Jeskie was exceptional. His positive attitude, workmanship, honesty, and diligence to take care of all my plumbing needs were all outstanding. Very professional indeed!     Excellent customer service! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend! Major project of replumbing my entire home. Casey came out the same day for estimate and they began the job the next day. Expected to take 4 days and the crew completed it in 2! These guys worked hard those 2 days to complete! Peter and his crew(Jacob D, Jacob W,Damian, Nick and Vaughn) was very professional and thorough in completing job. They explained everything they had done and showed pictures.These guys are what customer service is all about. I am in customer service industry and they exemplify what customer service is all about!     Casey Oā€™Neal was at my condo the day before Thanksgiving. He installed a new toilet for me and a brand new kitchen faucet. He was very professional and courteous. he answered any questions that I had, and he offered me three options of getting the job done. He did an excellent job installing the new toilet, and he took the old toilet out and cleaned up the mess better than I could have done! He did my kitchen faucet the same way. I have used Tennessee standard plumbing before and they are a great company and that is why I called them again. Casey worked hard at his job and is an excellent worker. I would give him 10 stars if I could, and I wouldnā€™t hesitate to call him again. Thanks again for a job well done!!

    I canā€™t recommend Jacob and Nick / Tennessee Standard Plumbing high enough. I have an 84 year old house that presented more than its fair share of problems redoing the water main service line. Mitch (Lenny) did a great job quoting and offering a more than fair price for our work, the same day I called. The bore team of Brendan and Zach did precision work. Then Jacob and Nick handled the install with unmatched expertise and a commitment to customer happiness that absolutely exceeds other companies. Even good companies are taken to the next level with great people. Jacobā€™s patience in handling all the questions this job threw at them (and me) made all the difference. They even covered the drywall repairs needed that Junior completed! Stop searching Tennesseans and call Tennessee Standard for whatever plumbing needs you have.Side note: if Jacob and Nickā€™s manger is reading this during their morning meetings he should accompany the shoutout with a bonus check!     Casey was very helpful and efficient. He assessed the problem with our kitchen sink quickly and repaired it with no problems.     This company was top notch from my first call about leaky pipes and the detailed time Casey spent walking through the home and listening and explaining everything to the team lead Jacob and his team in the installation process. They were prompt, clean and explained everything, asked questions and answered questions. This was a very expensive project for us especially during the holiday season. I highly recommend this company!

    Above and beyond a 5 star review for Richard Nahigian and TN Standard Plumbing in Knoxville, TN. Please continue reading especially if you are considering HEP plumbing services in Knoxville.Having called HEP prior to speaking with Tennessee Standard plumbing, we tried scheduling any immediate weekend visit as our water heater had flooded part of the house. After getting an appointment scheduled for a technician to come out with HEP, we were then called back to let us know that they were unable to show and would not be able to get here until the next day. We agreed, and waited for their call which never came. I ended up having to call HEP AGAIN and was told that they would get back to us as soon as they could. I have yet to hear a call back from them as of now. That said, we heard an advertisement for TN Standard plumbing on Star 102.1 this morning and decided to give them a call. This was one of the best calls weve ever made. Not only did we receive a call back from Richard, one of the technicians, but he also arrived at the house within an hour. Richard assessed the situation, was clear and concise with the information we needed, and was able to work with us on payment as well as getting our issue resolved. At the same time, Richard was also extremely kind and empathetic to our situation. I highly recommend TN Standard Plumbing and strongly discourage anyone considering work done from HEP Plumbing in Knoxville Tennessee. Thank you again, Richard. You have been fantastic!     Had Alfredo out today to install a new water line from the meter to our house. The install went extremely smooth and the time between finding the issue to scheduling the repair was very short. Left my yard as good as shape as they can given the work done. Would highly recommend using their services.

    From the moment I called Tennessee Standard late in the day, the gentleman who answered the phone was most pleasant with me and acknowledged that I needed my outside water faucets fixed and said that they had a hot water heater inspection and cleaning for (something I had always wanted) for $49 and they would do the faucets included. He scheduled me for the next day, and told me the name of the service technician.Brandon Aversano was the Licensed Plumber to come out the next day after calling with a heads up but in the time frame he was to come. He explained everything to me about the faucets having to remain as is with the hose attached or replace faucet. Water heater was working well for its age but would probably need replacing sometime next year. I wanted a new water heater anyway because the low boy didnā€™t fill the bathtub with enough hot water.. He checked several other items for me while under the house since I canā€™t do it. And he only charged me $49.00.Brandon was extremely knowledgeable and able to explain everything. He worked up three scenarios for a new water heater in the future at which time they would redo my faucets free. He sent the prices to my email.Brandon was a super person to come out and work on my appliances. I will always call Tennessee Standard and Brandon for my plumbing needs now!

    If youre looking for a no nonsense experience for your plumbing or gas needs, take a moment to read my review.I discovered a substantial leak coming from the pre filter on my tankless water heater system. I cut off the water supply and started calling around to find a plumber to come and take a look. I had called four other reputable plumbers in my county but was told it would take a few days, and or it would cost $59 -$79 to have someone show up and diagnose the problem. I was frustrated to say the least.I found Tennessee Standard online and saw that they had accumulated over 1,000 reviews with a five star rating... no easy feat! They are also operating out of Knoxville, 30-40 minutes away from where I live..I called and was greeted by someone immediately, unfortunately I didnt get his name. He was awesome! he let me know with confidence in his tone that we will get someone out to you today and get this taken care of for you. no cost to come out and take a look!Within an hour of making that call I received a text letting me know that a plumber was in route to my home, which was then followed up by a call from Jeff, the plumber himself. He was very cool, he listened to my concern and was reassuring that they would get it taken care of.He showed up and he was very kind, engaging, knowledgeable and I could tell that this wasnt just a job for him, rather, he really loves what he does. He took the time to answer all of my and my wifes questions. He made up three different quotes and didnt apply any pressure to choose what would make the company the most money... just solid sound advice on what each option would do to fix our issue and help future proof it from hard water, better quality components, and overall give us peace of mind with a hassle-free system.Jeff applied a temporary fix to allow us to have access to water over the weekend and scheduled to have our new Navien tankless system installed in addition to a lowboy electric water heater installed in our guest house.On the day of the installation, Logan and Zack arrived and went to town taking out the old systems and replacing them with the new ones! They arrived early! but not without first notifying me by text. Logan was fantastic! he worked tirelessly to rip out the old tank and corroded pipes, he would periodically bring us over to look at what he was doing to help educate us on the process and gave very through explanations as to what all the components were responsible for doing. He even took time after the install to look at our dishwasher that was having a water pressure issue.Zack did a fantastic job installing the lowboy system in our guest house and Im happy to report both new systems are firing on all cylinders! They also took the time to thoroughly clean up the mess after they were done, which I really appreciated!These guys, (Jeff, Logan and Zack) and this company clearly strive to make the customer experience the priority, and it shows! They take time to ensure their plumbers in the field are vetted in their knowledge, quality of work and licensure, but equally impressive to me at least, is their ability to interface with the client in such a way that its not just a business transaction, rather a pleasant, engaging and ultimately enjoyable experience.Dont waste your time with other companies that are going to take every dollar they can siphon from your wallet... Call Tennessee Standard first and receive the top notch service you actually want!

    Robert and Grant were fantastic! I had a sink that I tried to install myself, realized it wasnā€™t possible for me to do crawling under the sink with my bad back.     I am extremely pleased with the service I received from Tennessee Standard Plumbing. Mike Weeks did a fantastic job removing the old water heater and installing the new one. He was very professional; he explained our options but did not pressure us to buy additional products or services. We even got the water heater installed on the same day we called for an estimate. After removing the old water heater, Mike cleaned up the floor and pan before installing the new one. (Its cleaner than it has ever been!). Very grateful for their reasonable prices and quick service. I will be using them again.

The project was quite involved, as the demo of the old sink required removal of several items and cutting into the countertop to make the new sink fit properly. Despite the challenges, they handled it with incredible skill and professionalism. The new sink looks great.From start to finish, the experience with Tennessee Standard Plumbing was seamless.     I contacted about 10 different companies, got quotes from 7 of them, Tennessee Standard Plumbing had the 2nd best quote and left a very good impression. Im sure I would have no regrets if I had used them but I went with a TVA energy star rebate service provider to save a few dollars. Tennessee Standard Plumbing was cheaper than all but one of the TVA energy star providers I got a quote from even without the rebate.

    The Tennessee Standard team is top notch! Declan and Ian did an awesome job putting in my home filtration system. They also gave me an additional (more convenient) cutoff valve at no additional cost so I donā€™t have to crawl through my crawlspace to cut off the water. Highly recommend them if you want to KNOW the job was done the right way the first time.

    Im really impressed with Tennessee Standards professionalism and service. My husband and I had an issue with a leak that turned into a much larger project than what we were initially expecting. The guys at Tennessee Standard were so wonderful about communication with myself and my husband. Their quality of work is top notch.     TN Standard Plumbing is a terrific company, and I would absolutely request Casey Fields and Zack Fields for any future plumbing needs in my home! Our downstairs pump to the septic system was not working properly, and they thoroughly assessed all of the possible problems. Casey was extremely knowledgeable and professional, and very responsive to talking through all of the options and the repair process with me. I definitely learned about how our system works and what needed to be done! Casey and Zack replaced the pump to the septic tank and explained why it was failing. They were skilled, efficient and also very neat for what could have been a messy job. The cost was less than we expected, and Casey and Zack provided outstanding service!!

    Tennessee Standard Plumbing I would highly recommend. From the time i called them the communication was on a timely manner. Richard came out and arrived earlier than the scheduled time by about 10 minutes, which i appreciated, he then walk me thru the process of figuring out my problem. He then talked with me about all my options and we came up with a game plan that worked best for me and my family. We got the work scheduled for the next morning. Shane and his crew arrived on time and he walked me thru what they were going to do and then looked at a better option for the job. It ended up they didnt have to bust up my sidewalk. They did the job and all the work on the inside of the house was done very professionally. My yard look great as well. Other than the grass felt they had to put down to cover the new grass seed you couldnt tell they had to dig a trench thru my yard to install a new water supply line has the original had busted underground. He kept me updated on all the work that was being done by phone so i knew exactly where the job was in the process. After they finished the job everything was cleaned up and looked really neat and job complete.     I cannot stop saying enough nice things about Tennessee Standard: Plumbing & Drain! They are the #1 water/gas plumbers in Knoxville! I recommend them 100% to anyone and if you call them, you can tell them I recommended them. You will NOT be disappointed!They have done every water and gas line in my house, moved what I wanted moved, added what I wanted added, installed exactly what and where I wanted installed.     I had this on again/off again barely there smell of gas at my gas cooktop for a while. Finally called for service yesterday. Vaughn Hickman came out this morning to check it for me. He was amazingly thorough. I opted for the light diagnostic. He checked everything there was on the cooktop and pipes behind, even used a gas sniffer to detect tiny leaks. Nothing found. In the end he used a bubble material on all the pipe joints coming into the kitchen and found a teeny tiny bubble of gas at one of the joints which matched the barely there smell I was experiencing. Vaughn kept looking when others would have quit. He then repaired the pipes for me, all in the same day since another call of his cancelled late. I appreciate the excellent service!

    We used Tennessee Standard Plumbing to fix some plumbing issues and honestly I donā€™t think we will ever use a different company again. Over the course of three days we had four or five plumbers in and out of our home which can be hard but every single one of these guys was so very very respectful and kind. They all introduced themselves before walking in and explained everything that they were going to do. They covered up our entire place to keep everything clean, and they asked permission before entering rooms where doors were shut. They even locked up for us after the last day of their work. (We have a ring doorbell and we watched them double and triple check that our door was locked properly)I wish I remembered all of their names so I can properly shout all of them out, but Declan seemed to be in charge and truly made this whole experience a 10/10. Iā€™m not sure how they are training these guys but this was probably the best, most hassle free, in home service Iā€™ve ever had!

    I just moved here from out of state and found out I had thoudands of dollars worth of plumbing damage to a house I just bought. My first plumber that came out laughed and gave me terrible advice and then I found Tennessee Standard. Richard came out and spent hours diagnosising my problem and broke everything down in an easy way for me to understand and offered me financing options. Richard even fixed my AC vent under the house just because he was being helpful and he got the team to start the work the very next day. Throughout the four days I worked with several plumbers, Jacob and Jacob, Dany, Nick, Richard and Casey. Casey was my main point of contact on the project and he made sure to go above and beyond with his work by protecting my floors when working in the house, moving around his schedule of work to accommodate my meetings, and even providing comic relief and local auggestions to where I could find good produce in the area. Casey was very thorough and would constently keep me informed and he would work some days till 730PM in the pouring down rain.Even though this whole experience was aweful and extremely expensive they all made me feel safe and taken care of and found me a way to where I could afford to make this plumbing nightmare go away.I never post reviews, but this company, and all the men who helped me, made me want to let everyone know what a Godsend they all were.

    Blount County notified me that they thought I had a water leak. I had a leak detection company come and locate it then called Tennessee Standard Plumbing. They came a couple days later. My Technician was William. He was a true Pro. He immediately started digging where it was marked in the front lawn. After about 2.5 hours and many gallons of sweat he found it. He did not give up as I think many would have. The water main pipe was much deeper than its supposed to be by code but William being the Pro he is stayed after it. The hole he dug was approximately 4 feet deep and 18-20 inches in diameter. Thats a lot of digging in this Tennessee red clay! I give kudos to William and the whole company. It was not cheap but it was very professionally done and I would hire them again without hesitation. We live in Blount County Tennessee. I see it as money well spent to fix the 1 gallon per minute leak that had already leaked almost 40,000 gallons of water. I have included before and after photos. The ap0ointment window was from 1:00 to 5:00 pm with the understanding they would call when they were getting ready to come to the house.     This will be a long review but these gentlemen Robert & Ian are absolutely worth it!On Friday morning, my gas water heater sprung a leak at the bottom and needed to be replaced.I called the Oak Ridge Gas Co (ORUD) and they said they couldnā€™t come until Monday. 7 people (6 girls & me) with no hot water for 4 days! Next I called some local plumbers. One by one they said either theyā€™d come around 6pm or they didnā€™t handle gas units. Iā€™m glad they were busy but I needed someone now!Next I called 2 major companies that are well known in the Knoxville area. One came, gave a 3 minute look and quoted a mid 4 figure price TO REPLACE A WATER HEATER!The next on the scene was Robert Mason & Ian (I donā€™t know his last name) from TENNESSEE STANDARD PLUMBING & DRAIN. These gentlemen took their time. They asked many questions, they did a very thorough and professional inspection. They were straightforward, honest, neat and genuinely concerned about providing service, not just doing a job. While speaking with Ian, he was sharing about how much the leadership in the company truly cared about their employees and showed them tremendous respect. I found that to not only be reassuring but also experienced how that translated to how they genuinely cared about my family.The inspection took a good deal of time. They went into the crawlspace and really did a full inspection. Remember, this is Friday afternoon on Fatherā€™s day weekend. When they were done, Robert showed me his findings. For those that donā€™t know, many of the houses in Oak Ridge were built in 1943 so most of my plumbing is 80 years old. Robert showed me the pictures of the main pipe coming out of the ground into the house. Only God knows how it had not blown out yet, it was that corroded.Let me stop here and say that Robert & Ian were the only ones to do this inspection. Had I just replaced the water heater, the pressure* (more on this later) would have blown somewhere else and potentially taken out the furnace with the water.About the water pressure, they were also the only ones to measure the water pressure which was 100 psi when it should be half that. They also noticed that I did not have a pressure regulator or a main shut off. Important things to have in 2024 that perhaps werenā€™t in 1943.When they entered the house they had special shoes for neatness and respect which was nice.Finally when they were completely done, we sat down and they presented 3 different options which we discussed in detail. There was absolutely no pressure, no sales talk, nothing except honest information and options. There is a very true saying that you get what you pay for. Tennessee Standard Plumbing & Drain is not the cheapest but there is also a difference between ā€œcostā€ and ā€œpriceā€ The ā€œcostā€ over time will be less because they use top of the line material and they perform exemplary work which they stand behind.It turned out that none of the 3 options were attainable so Robert worked within our budget to get the vital items fixed. They handled everything. They called to get the ground marked, they dug up only the area they needed to and they put it back as best you can when you trench a yard.Another professional thing was that they were prepared. They had what they needed on the truck with them. There was no wasted time while they went to get whatever was needed. I greatly appreciated that.In the end, we decided on a 3 visit plan. They did the emergency items this visit. In 6 months or so, they will return for the 2nd phase and the final mostly cosmetic phase where my wife gets the bathroom she really wants.I would highly recommend these gentlemen and Tennessee Standard Plumbing & Drain!

Master plumber Ben came as expected, professional and prepared, and thoroughly assessed everything in a timely manner. We then explored options, and I was given the education needed to make the best choices based on my individual needs, with the confidence of having an educated and respectful professional present. The next day, Master plumber Patrick and his team of Mike and Casey came as expected, worked in tandem, and all the while I was able to get all my regular day in the neighborhood tasks, paperwork, and everything done as usual in peace and harmony.     This was our first time using Tennessee Standard Plumbing and we were very pleased with the final outcome after experiencing a few hiccups. The master bath shower insert had been improperly installed initially but Grant H and Zack F being the professionals they are went above and beyond to ensure our complete satisfaction.     I had a very good experience with Tennessee Standard Plumbing service. My old water heater had a significant water leak and needs replacement. Jamie came to my house and helped me to fix the water leak. He then offered me multiple options, including a tankless option which is exactly I am looking for. Then Declan, Peter and Mike came to my house to install the new water heater, replaced the broken pressure valve and a water pipe that is connected to garden hose. Their work is very professional, not only pay attention to functionality but also make sure everything looks neat. I see some reviews complained their price.     Casey came out and was very thorough, even noticing an issue with the water heater that was not up to code apparently, and got an estimate together. Not only did they assess the water heater but they were unbelievably thorough with our entire water system! Richard went a step further to recommend us install a water filtration system to improve the water quality and prevent future corrosion of the copper pipes.     My experience with Tennessee Standard Plumbing and Drain was fantastic. Declan and Martin arrived on time in the morning. They answered all my questions and were accommodating to my specific requests for the installation. Unfortunately because of some equipment problems, work on the installation of my new water supply line slowed until a new piece of equipment arrived. In the interim Declan and Martin kept the forward momentum going, working by hand. Because of the equipment issue, work was falling a little behind schedule. So, along with the arrival of another piece of equipment, Tennessee Standard sent two more employees, Shane and Jacob to get the project back on track. All four young men worked well into the evening (after dark), in cold temperatures, to ensure I had water and everything was done to my satisfaction. They cleaned up the job site, leveled the soil and applied grass seed and coconut roll on the disturbed soil to encourage grass growth in the spring. I would not hesitate using Tennessee Standard for my future plumbing needs.

    Grant Hackbarth and Ian Collins did a great job for us our e/one pipe repair. They worked with a lot of attention to detail and full communication along the way. Would definitely recommend them and Tennessee Standard Plumbing for service.

    Casey came by to put a waster line to the fridge, but also checked the hardness and pressure. And let me know that the water heater was going to need replacing. No pushing, just informing me it was likely past its fresh by date. He was great explaining everything and showing me what he did after. Great experience.

    Ben Lollar and Carson Balka responded to my residence to locate and repair water leak that other plumbers were unable to. They were on time, in uniform extremely professional, and explained every step along with cost. Even with me talking way to much they located and repaired the leak in less than 1 hour. They will always be my first and only call with any plumbing problems in the future.Ashley

    Patrick and Conner were very professional and explained everything they were doing to do for us to run drains away from the house to divert water in the basement. They worked nonstop for a full day to get the job done. The quality of the work was superb! They were very friendly and informative. Highly recommend to others. Will use them again on future jobs.

    I want to start on Tuesday the 9th when Mitch came out and redid the turn off valves and the pipes underneath my sink and put in the faucet that I had bought at Lowes. The only thing that was left was putting in my hot water heater tank today which is Thursday the 11th Patrick came out he had a helper and Im sorry I cant remember the guys name but both of them was very sweet and nice I took them downstairs to show him where the hot water heater was and they went started to replace the hot water heater it took him no time to do it so when they were through he came and got me and we went downstairs and he showed me my new hot water heater. Looks great he answered my questions about the hot water heater. I would give Mitch Patrick and his helper five stars they were very sweet knew what they were doing answered all my questions I would recommend you all to any of my family and friends who needed a plumber.
