They were professional and were able to get our entire house repiped in 4 days.After working with other plumbing companies over the years to repair leaks in our pipes, it was finally time for an overhaul. I got a bigger and better water heater for less money. I would highly recommend.

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with this local, homegrown Knoxville company. I first found Hard Knox Plumbing when I was seeking an alternative to the extremely high quote for a water pipe repair from one of the well-known/major plumbing companies in the area. Jarrett and Danny were incredibly helpful, kind and professional. They arrived at my home promptly to address my concerns. This team treated me like a person instead of a number. They gave honest pricing and did not try to oversell me on anything they didnt feel I truly needed to fix my issue. Despite it being a fairly dirty job, both Danny and Jarrett cleaned up after themselves and didnt leave me with a big mess to deal with afterwards. They performed excellent work and had my water back on by the end of the day...impressed is an understatement! Since my initial interaction with this company, I also had them install my new kitchen sink and new shower hardware. They arrived on time and completed the work efficiently. I am so glad that I found Hard Knox Plumbing, LLC. I contacted several plumbing companies to repair a gas line to my pool heater. The original installer -- to put it mildly -- cut several critical corners and did not do a proper job to ensure that the gas line was not faulty. Mr. Danny Ferris from Hard Knox Plumbing was the only contractor that listened to me about what I needed at this time (even though I know I will need to replace the entire line soon). All of the others, before I could say a word, surveyed the property, came up with extravagant fixes and pricing. I wasnt looking for the cheapest, but I was insisting on honesty and integrity. Mr. Ferris was awesome. Mr. Ferris fixed the line and it is sooooo much better, and I feel so much more secure now. When it is time to replace the entire line, I will contact Hard Knox again, and will keep their number handy for any other plumbing work I may need. If you want honesty, integrity, great work ethics, and competitive pricing, please consider them.

Late night 24/7 access to someone who understood my plumbing issue was only the beginning of an excellent experience. No answering service that had no clue! Within a few minutes I knew what my most likely problem was and what the steps to repair should be. With water soaked carpet, I was happy to hear that there would be someone out between 10-12 the next morning. I got a call just before 9 that someone was on his way. I was prepared to be disappointed, not very pleasantly surprised with early! Again, the repair process was explained and I was given a quote for approval. The cost was very reasonable, the work was excellent, and there was no need for cleanup from work done. I am a very happy customer and will be calling Hard Knox for all plumbing related work that I need and I will be recommending them highly every opportunity that I get! We discovered a leak right before freezing temperatures and snow were about to hit and I was calling around on a Saturday to get quotes. I landed in a couple voicemails but when I called Hard Knox Plumbing, Jarrett answered. He took the time to talk through everything and answer all my questions and then offered some reassurance so I didn’t feel as concerned about the weather making the issue worse. We set up a time for him to come out and give us a quote just a few days later. The quote we received was fair, detailed, and upfront. Jarrett made sure we understood everything about the repair process and what they would need to do before we decided on anything. We decided to go ahead and schedule the repair, they were able to get us on the schedule within a week. The day of the repair, they showed up on time, did exactly what they said they were going to do and we paid what we were quoted, no surprises on pricing or variation from the original quote. I recently purchased a home where the inspection uncovered that the two 50-gal water heaters were almost 20 years old. While they were well maintained, they were clearly a risk and I knew I would replace them. Since I own two homes, having something that is efficient and less risky when not at this home, I needed to find someone that could meet my needs.I started researching options on replacing with similar tanks or a tankless water heater. My research lead me to believe that either a Rennai or Navien were two premium models available so I started calling local companies. Rennais website made it difficult to determine who carried them locally, but Naviens mentioned plumbing companies that had attended their training and were considered experts.Hard Knox Plumbing came up as an installer of both Rennai and Navien Tankless water heaters so I called and had a lengthy conversation with Jarret on my needs. He worked with my schedule to have Danny Ferris inspect my system, listen to my needs and provide several options.Communications on scheduling appointments was excellent with texts and emails and we actually were able to complete the inspection early a Friday. The decision to remove existing tanks and replace with one Navien NPE-A2 system with WiFi controller was made at the time and Danny was back on Monday morning for the work. The pricing was fair and Danny worked his butt off all day Monday for 8 hours working on the removal and install. He was pleasant throughout the process. My only criticism would be that Id like to see a pristine cleanup at the end, but hell have another chance later this week.The WiFi controller was not in stock but Hard Knox Plumbing will have it delivered in two days and installed by Friday.So far, we are very impressed with the performance of the one Navien NPE-A2 in a fairly large home with multiple baths on three levels. Heating response timing has been excellent.Again, it is not always easy to find reliable contractors to respond to work but these guys really seem to care and communicate well at reasonable prices.Update: WiFi controller was installed on Friday as promised again with great communication. Final cleanup left our home pristine. Ill definitely use Hard Knox Plumbing for future needs. Thanks Guys!
