Summers Plumbing worked professionally and expeditious to fix my clogged pipe. Within 30 minutes I was up and running again with no leaks. Addttionally, they provided several recommendations of products I can use to increase the longevity of my pipes, and several short falls many consumers fall into, too avoid. I strongly recommend their services for the Dayton and Kettering area. Lastly, Dalton was my plumber and deserves credit.

He also cleaned the condensing unit of debris and gave me some preventive optional services that would improve our future experience. Caleb arrived on time as promised, quickly diagnosed the problem, verified our warranty coverage, quoted a fixed price for labor, left and returned with the replacement fan motor, had to take the fan unit back to the shop to complete the install, and then returned to finalize repairs and system checkout. Got the system back up and running at peak performance. Fair price and competent workmanship. Very satisfied with him and his company. Job well done! Id certainly recommend to others.

Summers is always prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. But if you need a system replaced, be warned! They replace EVERYTHING: duct work, piping, drain pans, ground pads, you name it. That ensures you won’t have problems with connecting a new system to old infrastructure, but it does add cost.

Had summers come out to check on a newly installed water softener which they installed a week ago…due to some concerns about how it was performing. It turns out it was installed incorrectly and the drain hose was not fitted properly. The technician that came out yesterday recognized the issue with the way the tanks were installed and corrected them (they were backwards) He tested the water and ensured it was in fact working the way it was designed. He also fixed the overflow drain that was not installed correctly during the initial install.

The technician, Michael Pace, diagnosed it immediately, found the part under warranty, picked it up and repaired it in about two hours. He even gave me some settings on my thermostat to make the house more energy efficient and gave my entire system a quick once-over. Amazing. Mike is a legend.

None of the issues needed prevented the furnace AC from working, but would improve both the performance and our quality of life in the house. We approved installation of the I-Wave Air Ionization System and Reme-Halo Purifier. Both were installed in a timely manner and Jason explained how they work and would perform. Overall a very good experience.

Our tankless water heaters heating element tanked after only 3 years. Josh from Summers was able to evaluate our issue the next afternoon. The heating element is under manufacturers warranty (thankfully!) and the crew will be back tomorrow to replace. Unfortunately, the labor isnt covered, but that is certainly industry standard. Once again Josh (and one more worker) were efficient, well-informed, and professional.

Michael came this morning to service the air con system in the home we just purchased. Michael was upfront regarding the condition and laid out several options. He was knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly. He was not pushy which I appreciated, and the fact he said we could potentially wait until spring to replace was a breath of fresh air. I don’t do well with pushy sales people that absolutely sends me in the opposite direction, but Michael was one of the few that don’t. We’re moving ahead with duct cleaning, aeroseal and the air purifier. If we’re investing in the top model, let’s invest a little more and ensure we cover all our bases. Michael was great to deal with and I’m glad we chose Summers.

When a tree company dumped a hunk of tree on our power line, they blew out the AC and Furnace. Summers was out the very next day because it was 95°+ in the middle of summer and we didn’t have AC. Caleb came out and explained basically the most important parts had to be replaced; he ordered the part and called a week later when they’d gotten it and came out to install it that evening. He explained everything, serviced the AC unit and even helped look at airflow issues we were having with the AC and successfully helped us fix them in the same appointment!He even gave us his contact info and when something else happened he came back out the next day to see how to fix the problem.Excellent service; the monthly plan is so worth it and we won’t use someone else with how great they have been!

Ive used Summers now for about 5 years. Ive always had excellent customer service. Today I had my furnace inspection. There were many issues with my furnace, kind of expected, 14 years old. The gentleman that helped us today showed us many pictures and went over all the issues that the furnace was having. He was very knowledgeable of the furnace functions and told us things that we should expect to happen if we dont do some repairs, which of course would be very expensive. We have 3 children and worry about there safety and being comfortable in the house. My wife and I decided we really need to look into replacing it. After talking with our serviceman about this, we thought it would be best to move forward. He gave us pros and cons, and the pros out weighed the cons.
