    4.5 stars! Overall, the job was very well done. The company went above and beyond to schedule immediately due to a plumbing emergency. The plumber arrived right on time and was extremely professional. He took care of a serious leak and well pump/expansion tank problem. Very accommodating for me as I was out of state at the time.One minor issue was that the plumber did not replace pipe insulation that had to be removed to complete the job. When asked about it- he said there would be an additional $100 service charge to go back out and complete the 5 minutes worth of work. I’ll be sure to throughly look over the job before the technician leaves next time. Very nice job overall though!

    This is my second outstanding review in less than a week about Ed Rike Plumbing (2 visits necessitated by our basement flood due to a power outage caused by Hurricane Helene). Elijah came to install a new sump pump and a backup water turbine (counterintuitive) sump pump. He did a great job and worked without a break. Very personable, professional, and knowledgeable. As I noted before, Ed Rike Plumbing is our new plumber of choice. Thanks, Elijah and your company.

    We needed new plumbing fixtures and a valve installed to fix a bad remodel from another company. Ricky and Justin knocked it out of the park as well as being super respectful and courteous. Everything was cleaned up and put back in order. I wish we had called them for our remodel. They do excellent work.

    As a first time customer I called Ed Rike Plumbing for emergency service on Saturday. Our previous plumber of 15 years did NOT provide weekend service . Doug arrived within an hour. Very professional. Made a thorough assessment of our effluent pump problem. Secured the area as a replacement pump couldn’t be obtained until MondayNew pump installed Monday .. knowledgeable experienced professional.. Doug kept us informed of the process.     Doug was punctual and very knowledgeable. He came to unclog a drain and stayed for 2 hours until he had the drain unclogged. He showed up the corrosion of the original drain pipe and scheduled us for a replacement job within 48 hours. The drain replacement and repair of old shut-off valves was beautiful and functional. For 2 days work, the price was very reasonable and his work/manners were impeccable. I would highly recommend Doug and Ed Rike for all your plumbing needs!

    Ricky and Justin came out to our house to help with getting our washer and dryer unit set up. Some old parts were extremely damaged and needed to be fully replaced. It was a great experience working with both of them. Ricky was extremely knowledgeable and very happy to explain anything. I felt comfortable to ask him any questions since he seemed more than willing to answer anything. Justin worked extremely hard and got our washer and dryer set up perfect. I would 100% work with them again, because it was such a great experience.

    I had a sewer line back up at 8 oclock in the evening.     Backed up toilet on a Saturday. Didnt know who to call. Many shops were closed. Some didnt provide this service any longer. So I gave Ed Rike a try. This was a plumber I was familiar with but had never used. Got a call back from Plumber Ricky very quickly- actually within about 10-15 minutes. He told me he would be at the house in about 10 minutes. Ricky was very personable, very helpful and he cleared the clog in the line quickly. I was very pleased with the job, the cost, and the incredibly friendly and helpful service. There is now no question which plumber I will use in the future. Ed Rike it is. Thanks to Ricky!

    We had an emergency - washer wouldnt drain, toilet and utility sink filling up and overflowing! We were very concerned we wouldnt be able to find a plumber on a Sat night. Sure enough first place we called said they could come Mon. Called Ed Rike Plumbing and they said theyd get someone out to us. Enter Justin. Justin called to let us know he was on his way, arrived promptly and knew right away what our problem was. He explained everything to us as he worked and had everything resolved within an hour. Justin was professional and knowledgeable. Beyond fixing our problem, he gave us advice on how to avoid future issues and recommendations on maintenance.     I was sick to my stomach when I heard water running with all the fixtures off during cold weather last week. Ed Rike sent someone out the next day (while others quoted 1-2 weeks). Ricky came out and confirmed that there indeed was a slab leak.Monday, Elijah showed up on time, was pleasant and respectful. After a brief inspection, he presented me with options to fix it. Prior to his arrival, I imagined the slab of my home being jackhammered to pieces - never to be the same again. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Elijah could run pex through the attic, and insulate it which completely takes the plumbing out of the slab which avoids guaranteed issues in the future.Elijah completed the work quickly and efficiently while communicating throughout the entire repair. My life instantly improved - I could again shower, do laundry and dishes. I can also sleep at night without the sound of water running through the house and knowing that Elijah’s fix will outlast me.     Needed water heater replaced and was getting some pretty high quotes that included the replacement water heater. Decided on a Friday evening to go buy the water heater separate to try to save money. Contacted Ed Rike at a little past 5 PM on a Friday and they were able to have a tech there by about 7 PM that same evening. They DO NOT charge after hour and weekend rates which was great. The tech that completed the work was Elijah. He was fantastic and a great communicator. He was very patient, very diligent, and one of the most polite contractors I have ever come in contact with. Highly recommend Elijah, he did a great job!! We saved over $1,000 from what we were getting quoted by other plumbers by buying our own heater, and not having to pay for evening/weekend rates because we chose Ed Rike!

    Wow, I wish other companies were this wonderful. The schedulers were helpful and polite. Doug, my technician, called 30 minutes before arriving and showed up exactly on time. He was very knowledgeable and effective. Im finishing a kitchen renovation, and Doug ran a water line for my refrigerator, moved a gas line for my stove, and completely plumbed the drain and water lines for my sink all in one day.     Ricky has been here 4 times and each time I was impressed. He is very knowledgeable, works quickly and neatly. He helped us through a new Toilet installation where the new American Standard Cadet Toilet had a tank that did not fit right. I bought the toilet at a plumbing supply house in Dayton, they supplied a new tank and after switching - Problem solved!My house is about 20 years old and I first had him for a leak which he fixed quickly, I then had him re-engineering and delete pipes which sweat in the summer. The third and fourth times were to remove the old toilet and install the new one. The tank assembly was slightly malformed (I picked the Toilet and Tank up in Dayton) and wobbled and rocked back and forth). It did not leak but I did not like how that tank rocked back and forth. The plumbing supply house provided a new tank and in the forth visit Ricky installed the replacement tank and it is rock solid.I would recommend Ricky very highly. I have the highest regard for him and Eds firm for supplying him as an employee.

    Called on a Sunday morning because we thought our well pressure tank went bad. My husband bought one from a store and when Nate came out to change it, he said the one we bought wouldn’t last very long. So it was decided that he would come on Monday. In the meantime we had water “on demand”. Nate and his helper Joshua got a list of what was needed and got everything at a local supply store. In 2 hours we had water again. They were both very nice and answered any questions I had.

    Even though the end of the normal work day had arrived, Ed Rike Plumbing responded to our call for help. Tech Elijah was dispatched from an hour away, after hours, to our situation. Elijah called to say he was on his way, about an hour out, and he arrived as he said he would. He was courteous, professional, wore his shoe booties in the House, and didn’t waste any time getting to work. After diagnosing the situation, Elijah explained the options and costs, and let us make the choice. NOTE: none of their services is cheap! We got hit with a bill over 500 bucks!!
