Ive been dealing with a persistent drain issue. Brian from Ohio Best Plumbing has made numerous visits to my home. When my utility sink drain got blocked once again, I promptly called and requested a Monday morning appointment, specifically asking for them to bring a snake. I was given a 4-hour window for the appointment. Brian arrived a bit outside of the scheduled window and upon evaluating the situation, he realized that his snake was too short for the task. Consequently, I had to book another appointment for the following morning with Melvin. This meant sacrificing a second mornings worth of income. However, I appreciate Brians honesty as he did not charge me for an ineffective solution. Yet again, the utility sink is backing up. Despite giving his best effort, it remained clogged. As a result, Ive had to temporarily turn off my kitchen water and use a laundromat, allowing the water in the pipe to gradually drain. On Tuesday, the clog is set to be thoroughly cleared. If all else fails, pipe replacement will be our last resort. Despite the setbacks, working with Brian is always a pleasure. He is prompt, diligent, and really puts in the effort to resolve the issue.

The task was indeed tough, but Brian went over and above to rectify this issue for us, delivering outstanding work. Were sincerely thankful for the services he provided. We had an exterior water faucet that was over two decades old and it wouldnt stop dripping. The majority of our plumbing was Mansfield, so I initially thought a Mansfield repair kit would do the trick. I took out the 16 inch frost free hose bib and switched the washers at the end with a Mansfield kit bought from a nearby hardware shop, which cost around $20. To my disappointment, the faucet was still leaking. I took the faucet to Ohio Best Plumbing for some professional guidance. I had recorded a video of the leak and showed it to Melvin. He agreed that a new washer kit should have fixed the issue. Later on, he called me with a hunch that the original faucet might not be a Mansfield. He suggested I double-check it, and upon close inspection, ABP was faintly visible on the brass. Melvin then ordered the exact ABP replacement of the entire 16 inch unit, which cost about $40. I picked up the new unit the next day and installed it straight away. A few days later, I was thrilled to find that the faucet was no longer leaking. Huge thanks to Melvin for his expert help in resolving our issue! Were truly grateful!
