At first my insurance wasnt going to pay anything but Bobby talked to them and now Im getting an insurance payment. Augie and all the other guys who worked on the job were respectful and helpful and did a good job of cleaning up afterward. I definitely would work with them again

This has not been my year for appliances. The day before xmas eve my garbage disposal dies and starts leaking. On xmas day my TV blows out. Come home from the holidays on January 1st to a flood in my basement from my water heater.On January 2nd I started calling every plumber in the book. Most required a huge amount( honestly one guy said on the phone that they would only come for $130 and that based on what I told him they would be there for at least 5 hours) to come out and see the problem and could come out for at least 48 hours. Mr. Rooter had Tom at my door the next day for a free assessment.Tom was very knowledgeable, he asked very informed questions and explained why he performed each test as went through assessing the situation.In the end Tom was able to fix the problem in under 2 hrs with some new parts. He was efficient and knowledgeable for a company that didnt charge for an assessment (which really helped my budget.)My biggest regret from this experience was that I didnt call Mr. Rooter for the garbage disposal.I hope that I never have to call them again for an emergency, but any plumbing work I have in the future Mr. Rooter will be my first call.

Mr Rooter of Dayton showed up less than an hour after I called them on Thursday night, after the other plumbers I called wanted me to wait until either Friday morning or Monday morning! Robert Jones quickly cleaned out the clog in the sewer drain pipe running to the street. Robert is obviously a very sincere plumber. He took pride in doing the best job possible. The next morning, Jerry Rice showed up to perform the after-cleaning camera inspection of the sewer pipe, which was included in the original price. (The drain-cleaning cost $450 including the $99 visit fee, which is on the high side of average.) I watched the display as the camera showed that the drain line was completely clear, all the way to the junction with the main sewer pipe under the street. I mean it was completely clear! The camera reassured me that the drain pipe was in good shape and will not need to be replaced anytime soon. (I was worried about a possible damaged or collapsed pipe, but the problem was just tree roots.) All in all, this was the best possible experience that anyone could possibly have after being cursed with a stopped-up sewer drain pipe. It was worth the money. I will call Mr Rooter first the next time I have this problem.

We came home from work to our garage, laundry room, and bathroom flooded in the lower level of our home. I called Mr. Rooter who had someone at our home in 30 minutes! Craig was our technician and he was so friendly, knowledgeable, and really shared so much of his knowledge with us. It was evident that he wanted to help us as much as possible. He was unable to get the caps off of our main water line so he took apart our toilet to unclog the drains in the foundation. He explained why the flooding was occurring to the point where we could understand. He was helpful in offering suggestions for different companies to use for drywall damage quotes when we asked and others with a percentage off program they had. He called to schedule a visit from a tech to come tomorrow and use a camera to look for roots in our line in the yard. It took him maybe an hour to fix the problem. We are very appreciative for the evening visit and quick fix! Thank you so much!

Sometimes they leave and another issue from the same job might pop up within a few days, and they send someone out right away, usually no added charge, depending on what the issue is.We have used a few different plumbers around the area, and I have liked this company more than others, and feel I can trust their prices and expertise. I have felt swindled by some others, especially Roto Rooter. PLEASE dont use them if you can avoid it!

Unfortunately, my problem required the jetting service. It was very expensive, but I cannot comment on the cost because I have no comparison. It was the evening when Doug left, and the jetting crew were here the next morning at 8 am. They were great, and left my property cleaner than I thought they would. Doug even came back a 2nd time to make sure things were good. I will definitely use Mr. Rooter again.

Our maindrain backed up around Christmas and we initially had Apollo home come out unclog the drain (we had never used them before) Apollo came out unclogged the drain and it was reclogged less than 24 hours later. Apollo would not come back out without us repaying for a service that was not fully completed the first time! After a bad experience with Apollo, we tried Mr. Rooter and we were extremely satisfied. Although it was a bit costly, the flow was restored the first time and we havent had any problems since. They stand by there work! ...The bonus was that the were available the day before Christmas eve.

The technician of Mr. Rooter is very professional. While the technician of Roto-Rooter tell me that I need to pull the whole kitchen cabinet out for them so they can fix the bursted pipe inside with a BIG extra cost, John Desilva from Mr. Rooter can just crawl inside the small hole and replace the pipe. It only take 2 hours for him to replace the old water softener and fix the pipe inside the wall, which I think it will take a whole day to finish if a amateur like me do it.Definitely will call them if something happen again. 👍👍👍

Admittedly, I was skeptical about proceeding with the job without getting a second opinion; however, I felt confidence with the service technicians explanation. I was able to review and see the problem before action occurred. At first I was told that the problem would take 3 days to fix, but the service contractors performed all duties in one day. Kudos to Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Dayton (not Roto)!

But too costly after having to drain my water heater twice. The vacuuming should be included the first time it is drained. Just too costly!

My bathroom drain was just a calamity of errors. So I had to get 2 companies to fix it. Mr. Rooter was the only one to get the drain unclogged. A+ for that! They are very friendly and easy to work with. It does take them a long time to get to your house. I called initially around noon and at 9:30 pm they called saying they could be there in an hour. I have a 1st grader so that couldnt work so they said theyd put me on the books first thing in the morning. I think they arrived around 10ish am. They said there was a part missing/broken from the previous plumbers who couldnt get the drain unclogged. The previous plumbers said it was there when they left. So basically who knows! They each did their own thing to get me back up and running. Mr. Plumber was, by far, more affordable.

I don’t know about all the techs because I simply don’t know all the techs employed by mr. rooter. I can tell you however that Tyler was such a polite young man who took pride in his work. He was not pushy by trying to sell me additional services in addition to fixing my problem . Had he done this, mr. rooter would be off my list of plumbers to contact. Tyler did make me aware of options to consider but left it at that. The next time I use mr. rooter for plumbing, I will specifically request that Tyler is sent to my home(no I’m not related to him). It was just a pleasure to be treated so respectfully. It was like having someone with the politeness of a Chick Fil A employee that possessed plumbing skills. To the owner I say, “hang on to this guy”

When contractor was tearing up old concrete they broke the top off the cleanup and allowed gravel to clog up the drain.i contacted Mr. Rooter and they attempted to clean out the drain but there was to much gravel in it to get out. They dug up the drain and replaced the trap with a much larger trap and eliminated the problem. No more basement flooding!

This is the 4th time Mr. Rooter came out to troubleshoot our sewer line backing up. Whenever weve had an issue, they have been quick to respond and work to fix the problem. Unfortunately, the problem with our line this time called for a permanent solution--replacing ALL of our traditional clay piping with solid PVC. Within a day of calling, Tex and Christian broke ground on a 4-day job. They are great guys, highly professional and super polite to their customers. They treated my wife and kids very kindly. They cleaned up their work on the last day by pounding all of the dirt mounds (from the excavation) back into the ground, which wasnt mandatory. I cant thank Tex and Christian enough for permanently fixing our sewer pipes.
