After submitting a request for an estimate to replace the utility sink in our basement, I was impressed by Sandras quick response. She scheduled a time for Matt to come out and assess the situation. While I was certain I wanted the new sink, there were some other problems associated with the area that I was less capable of identifying. Matt explained the problems, including a leaky fitting in the foundation, and offered solutions. He also described how we could improve our washing machine and water softener discharge systems and offered different options for a more aesthetically pleasing floor drain.When I received the detailed estimate, I found it a bit overwhelming due to the complexity of the proposed work. However, when I called Matt for clarification, he was very patient and thorough in explaining the details we had discussed during his visit. This made me feel much more comfortable with the project and my decision to give them the job.

Water is still leaking down to the first floor coming out the trap door in ceiling.Oakwood called and sent someone else out. He opened up the toilet trap door and saw where it had been leaking. I called Oakwood plumbing Monday morning to help with a blocked laundry room drain. Washing machine drain was cloggedThey had a serviceman at the house by 10am. He examined the problem, checked the pipes in the basement and by 10:30 had the problem resolved. Tom, the plumber who came to the house, then cleaned up the entire area. He was pleasant and fun, and confident he would fix the drain. He’s great!Oakwood Plumbing is great! 5 stars hands down. Oakwood came out to help us with repairing a bathtub faucet and an outdoor spigot. The best part, I called on Monday, and they were able to come out on Friday. Oakwood Plumbing is the best contractor (of any kind) that Ive ever worked with, hands down. They are professional, communicative, competitively priced, timely, and have a great positive energy. I cannot recommend their services enough if you have need of gas/water plumbing.I needed a new gas line installed for my fireplace, new tap/drain lines for a vanity sink, and some minor work to adjust a utility sink. I got six quotes and Oakwood Plumbing was the second lowest. Very reasonable. I went with them rather than the rock bottom quote because of how impressed I was with Gordon, the owner, who came out to give my estimate. He listened carefully, asked clarifying questions, and gave me options. A lot of contractors will try to upsell you work that you didnt ask for and try to scare you with grim scenarios if you dont do it. Gordon did none of that -- he showed respect for my house and my project and he was kind to explain things that I didnt understand. When his team came, they were cheerful, respectful, and professional. Gordon also dropped in to do some of the work -- and he even threw in a small upgrade (for free) that I had planned to do myself!All in all, a wonderful experience. Oh, and as others have already commented, the singing was great too. :D

After calling numerous plumbers who told us they could not come out due to the holiday, Gordon came out to repair our leak and we were able to use our water once again. Gordon and his whole team at Oakwood Plumbing are outstanding. They repaired and replaced 95% of the waterlines in my home over the last two days. The team was helpful, friendly and took great care in keeping my home clean. They were so knowledgeable, I felt very secure in their ability to complete the work needed. Oakwood Plumbing arrived at my home each dat at the time promised and completed the work exactly on the time table they anticipated. It was also very easy to connect with them over text or telephone. The final touch was coming back into my kitchen after the work was completed to find they had even re-hung the artwork on the walls and not a speck of dirt was left behind. They went over and above anyone Ive ever had in my home.

We have used Oakwood Plumbing for several projects recently. They installed a new toilet and shower fixtures in our basement’s “Kettering bathroom,” replaced pipes and fixtures in our utility sink, and installed a new, larger gas water heater. Most recently, they did a complete gut and remodel of the house’s original circa 1943 bathroom. Gordon, Matt, Elliott and Corey were all a pleasure to have in the house and took care to make sure everything was completed to our satisfaction. They each became like extended family by the end of the project. I found them all friendly, trustworthy, professional, punctual and committed to doing the job right, whether a small project, like the toilet installation, or a big one, like our remodeled bathroom.Update on June 24, 2024: We had Oakwood Plumbing fix a broken water line to an outdoor spigot and also to replace the old spigot. Nick & Maverick were here on time, courteous and professional, and the work was completed satisfactorily within an hour. Everything works great!

Only four showed up and two of those missed their appointment. Oakwood Plumbing missed the original appointment, but I think this was a fluke and they made it right by coming out later that day. Out of the four that showed up, I felt confident that Oakwood Plumbing had the best quality and communication for the price.Lindon spent lots of time talking through the job with me and giving suggestions and options. I knew exactly what trade-offs I was making and ended up with better solutions than I originally sought. As I had additional questions, they were happy to give detailed answers by email, and they were even willing to be flexible on the day of the job. Their crew was great. They were polite to each other and friendly. They seemed happy doing the work. There was even a bit of singing (I give the vocals a B+). When they finished, they walked through the job with me and answered any and all questions I had. They also demonstrated outstanding integrity when I overpaid and they mailed me a check to refund $200.

About a week after Matt’s work I noticed a pipe had come unhinged (normal because of the pump’s placement, not any error of Matt’s) and simply texted Linden a photo, which he responded by arriving roughly five minutes later to not only fix it, but to show me how to do so in the future.
