Working in collaboration with Green Star Builders enabled us to realize a home beyond our imagining. Jesse took our ideas and created a light-filled, comfortable and peaceful environment that we love. His careful siting made the best use of the lot, framing the landscape features to full advantage. His work is meticulous and he is a master at working with steel, incorporating it seamlessly into the overall design of the interior and exterior of the home. Green Star has excellent relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, all of whom worked hard to finish our project within the timeframe given, especially in this most challenging year of 2020. It was a pleasure working with Jesse, and also with Karla, who helped hone our ideas for interior fixtures and finishings and found beautifully designed pieces to bring it all together.

Jesse built a house I designed in 2014. My client and I were thrilled with the process and the result. Jesse is someone who knows his stuff, is eager to please, and directs all of the various team players well so they come up to his standards. Even though I had designed the house, it was great working with someone who also has a strong design sense. He got what I was trying to do, and he incorporated lots of steel elements which his company designed and built for us. The project finished under its anticipated budget. I very much look forward to working with Jesse again.

Green Star Builders is one of our favorite building companies to deal with! I cannot think of a nicer, more detailed oriented or creative builder out there than Jesse. Our collaborations have always been the most exciting and the most well thought out. Jesse brings a very unique design aesthetic to every project which makes each home very interesting and enjoyable. Karla is great to work with too!

Five billion stars is what Greenstar Builders earned in my estimation. On time, on budget, and surpassing all expectations. Jesse is an artist who transformed our design from beautiful to breath taking. He sourced the best materials and solutions within my budget and held all sub contractor to his high standard. He participated with family and friends to bless the land and brought that respect into every detail - including neighbor relations! My award winning home was the last house built on my street and I still get compliments on the design and builder. Would I do it again? Yes, although I live in a dream home and cant imagine how it can be inproved.

When asked about a contractor in Santa Fe, I can’t say enough about how pleased we are that we chose Green Star. Jesse Gries, the owner has proven to be a man of his word and has never let us down. Two years after the work was done, he is still providing support for issues that have come up since the original remodeling.Jesse has always taken responsibility for work done by subcontractors and never put us off with “I didn’t do that, you have to contact them”. If I need help, Jesse steps up.I find Jesse to be highly detailed, very efficient and capable of producing superior outcomes. Jesse created some elaborate metalwork, huge planters and a floating bed, for us on a narrow portale. The result is spectacular and the service after the sale never-ending.Jesse collaborated fully with two other talented designers, Stephen Belli and Annie OCarroll. The three worked together well and cheerfully to create a lovely new outdoor room. Indeed Jesse added the necessary notes of practicality as the rest of us tend to get carried away.Anyone would be lucky to work with Jesse, Karla, and Green Star builders.Tim Mitchell

We were so fortunate that Jesse came to our rescue last month. One of our friends daughters backed into the stuccoed support that holds up two bays of our three-car garage. Needless to say, I was glad she was okay but our garage looked like it was on the verge of collapsing. Jesse was able to reset the support and then went to work on welding iron floor brackets that enabled us to park in the building once again. A little stucco work and it looks good as new. Actually, better! Thank you Green Star!

Jesse is the best contractor we have ever done business with. He is extremely honest and trustworthy. Not only did he do excellent work he also helped us when we have other issues at our house that we really should be calling someone else to fix. I cant wait to start our next project because his company will be the ones we choose! I cant recommend him enough. You would be crazy to hire anyone else!
