My husband and I highly recommend Enchantment Refrigeration. Working with this family business was an exceptional experience from start to finish. When our air conditioning broke on a hot summer day, my husband first spoke on the phone with the owner, Leroy. He was able to give a fast diagnosis and an accurate estimate. He was knowledgeable, called the parts vendor to ensure availability, and was quick to respond with all the information we needed. We lucked out that he had an opening the next day. His sons arrived exactly when they promised and were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. They came prepared with all the parts we needed to fix the problem. They also easily installed our ecobee smart thermostats with no issues. They did not try to sell us on replacing anything that wasn’t necessary and completed the job for a very reasonable price. While no one wants to lose air conditioning on a hot day in New Mexico, if you find yourself in this situation you can turn to no better company than this one. We will certainly be using them again for any of our future needs.

Leroy and his sons, Jason and Joseph, did a superlative job installing a heat pump and splitters in our house. They were punctual, professional, and personable. We went with Enchantment because they were candid about their proposal including identifying smart ways to compare other bids we received to determine whether add-ons proposed by other firms were necessary to accomplish our goals. Enchantment saved us significant money and future hassle. We highly recommend them and their services.

They are a professional, experienced, and well organized business. They understand the true meaning Customer Service. It is a family business with the grandfather who started the business, and at 80 still does hands on work, Leroy, his son who does the initial contact and provides the bids, and Joe, the grandson who does most of the installation. It is all high quality teamwork.The final product is more than I thought would occur. First Leroy walked us through some possible solutions over the phone, and then went out of his way to get to us right away because our furnace went out in the middle of a storm. We contacted Leroy to replace the compressor on a walkin freezer of our restaurant. Everything was done within a few days, everything works great, all with great communication and reasonable prices. Our air conditioning went out in the middle of August, and my husband was having problems sleeping in the really warm weather. I called Enchantment Refrigeration because they had installed the A/C unit for our homes previous owners. Leroy was so professional to talk with, and the team who came out to fix it explained the issue to me and went to get parts so it could be fixed that day. What a relief! We slept like babies thanks to Enchantment!

This is a very busy time of year for HVAC companies, but the owner of Enchantment (Leroy Salazar) was able to schedule me on short notice, to do a long-overdue service on our radiant heating system. This is a family owned business, whos been serving the Santa Fe area for 38 years! The reviews I read for Enchantment Refrigeration were more than good enough to convince me to take a chance with them, and they did not disappoint. Leroys sons who have both been working for the company for years understood exactly what I needed for our home. They were respectful, friendly and extremely efficient and the job was done at an excellent price. Im very happy to have finally found a great HVAC company, and one that is based in Santa Fe as an extra bonus - and they also do plumbing. Highly recommended!

I have been taking care of private homes and large estates for most of my life. I was recently referred to Enchantment Refrigeration by another well known plumbing company. They showed up on time, were very courteous and informative, got the job done and were reasonably priced considering the complexity of my own hot water heater. They did not have a second thought about coming all the way down to Cochiti Lake where they were intimately knowledgeable about the water systems here. There was even one problem that manifested after they departed for the day and told me how to remedy it over the phone which I was successful doing. Thank you , Leroy! Leroy has great customer service skills and was on the ball for us. We only needed to have the water line to our evap cooler replaced and the guys that Leroy sent out were competent, polite, and on time. It was really easy to have the work done. At the end, they showed me how to disconnect the new line for the winter. Overall, would call again for any other issues that may arise.

There’s nothing but good to say about this company. I needed 5 mini splits installed. I was tired of a swamp cooler. So I requested 2 bids. The other local company came in $9k over Enchantment. No brainer. Enchantment has been in business for 40 years. The 80 yo company founder came out with his son Leroy, to give an estimate. Such professionals. They explained things so I understood. The higher priced contractor didn’t seem to know what he was talking about. We signed with Enchantment. When they came to install, Leroy’s two wonderful sons, Jason and Joe, did the hard,hot work and never complained. They were raised right. ThenLeroy came and registered our TWELVE year warranty on the Daikin system. He was so helpful. I’m a 66 yo retiree, and have hired many contractors over the years. They are among the two best I’ve ever hired. Oh…and the entire house is so COOL now as SF swelters in heat. Now I’m planning to hire them to install one in my garage. By golly, if I could give them 10 stars I would.
