I recently moved to Santa Fe and needed help hanging paintings and artwork. Always Construction was highly recommended by a contractor who had worked at our house. Always Construction provided a 3 man crew who did an immaculate job over a 2 day period hanging over 30 pieces of ethnic art and paintings, many requiring work from a ladder. The crew utilized a laser level to perfectly hang the artwork. The crew placed protective covering on the floor for each installation, moved any furniture that might impede their work, and worked in a very safe manner, with a person beside the ladder whenever someone was working at height. The finished work was excellent and my wife and I were both very pleased with the outcome. Based on my experience with Always Construction, I highly recommend that you consider using them for your home projects, big or small.

Awesome company! We are so appreciative for Always Construction Services. During a recent rainstorm, we had water leaking into our home. When we contacted the company, Julian Sr. got back to us right away. He came to our house, inspected to identify the problem, explained in detail what the issue was, and sent his worker Danielo to caulk around our windows and walls where the water had been entering. We can’t say enough about how much we appreciate the excellent work and prompt response we’ve received from this company. We had a wonderful experience with the owner Julian and his work crews. The crews were friendly and polite. Their supervisor, Daniello was here every day, all day overseeing the crew. They arrived every morning on time and worked hard all day. At different times, suggestions were made that helped improve the outcome of the project. Julian made several helpful suggestions and worked with us to assure we would be happy. On the last day, the crews picked up any debris in the area and left our property neat and tidy. Always Construction Services was highly recommended to us by our neighbor. So, we reached out with several construction needs; retaining walls, stucco work, electrical and replacing our old unusable deck. Julian was very responsive and worked with us on our needs and came up with solutions and plans for each of the projects. The stucco work came out marvelous, everything came out far better than I had envisioned. The old deck was uncovered and was unusable most of the time. So, the replacement deck has been covered and looks gorgeous. I can’t truly express how happy we are with the work done and the people involved. Everyone was professional and friendly. If something was not quite what I envisioned, then we discussed, came up with solutions and quickly moved forward. We cannot say enough good things about Always Construction. The owner, Julian, was a pleasure to work with and was always responsive. He checked in with us every day! He is more than a contractor, he is a true artisan. We had a rather extensive project which included stucco replacement, roof replacement, and a deck renovation which included electrical services. He was with us every step of the way and provided expert professionals that completed a finished product that far exceeded our expectations (see the before and after pics). We have always dreamed of incorporating a hot tub on our deck, but never thought it could be done. But, Julian makes the impossible possible. He listens to what the customer wants and works with your budget. He has high standards and is worth every penny (probably more). He is confident and conscientious and truly enjoys what he does. After having several contractors either not show up, not respond after they came to look at the issues, or quote some amount so ridiculous - Julian and Fernanda Moreno were a breath of fresh air! They are both professional, kind, and helpful in regards to roof and foundation repair needed on my house. They were able to start work done within 2 weeks after calling. Either of them responded within hours either via phone, text, or email. Their staff showed up on time and did exactly what they were contracted to do. Every day they left they cleaned up and you would never even know they had been here. The cost for all of this was amazingly fair compared to other ridiculous estimates I had received for these two repairs. And in the end, everything was done cleanly and beautifully. Ill be calling Julian and Fernanda in the future for sure! Highly recommend!!

I cannot recommend Julian and his team highly enough. The overhang on an outdoor, but attached portico/pergola was sagging due to interior wood rot and threatening to fall down. We had a really hard time finding a company with the right set of skills to do this complex repair. We had 6 other contractors out to the house who promised to get s estimates and then never got back to us. As soon as we talked to Julian, we knew Always Construction was the right fit for the job. He and his project manager worked closely with us to trouble shoot repair options and came up with a design that was a significant improvement, both in terms of quality and aesthetics. They started work immediately and although the job turned out to be more complicated than anticipated, work continued consistently until the job was done. Workmanship was high quality and materials top grade—Julian even rejected some beams from supplier that he did not think were best quality. The result is sturdy and beautiful; a substantial upgrade. Julian communicates well with his clients, answering email, calls, and texts in a very timely manner. Always construction is is a highly ethical and reliable operation. I am sure we will be calling on them for other general construction projects and repairs at our home in the future.

I appreciated his honesty when explaining all the uncertainty inherent in excavation work and foundation repair. Danilo kept me in the loop about what was found each day and what approach would be taken to deal with it. I contracted with Always Construction Services LLC in March, 2024 to replace my roof, which had three layers of previous roofing in addition to gravel, dirt, and pumice. They removed 15,000 lbs of previous roofing. Before removal, the company covered every ceiling in my home with plastic, coming the day before beginning to start removal. My experience with Julian and his crew was exceptional. I had good communication with Julian and his key employees, and the work crew were fantastic...respectful, careful, caring. I highly recommend Always Construction, and am recommending them to anyone who needs contracting services. Finally, Julian has kept in touch, asking if all is well, and if I need any further assistance, touch-ups, or possible problems. Im SO grateful to their crew for helping us with our recent, large, commercial remodel project. Our 16,000sqft building was in desperate need of a facelift. When I discovered a leak in my dining room ceiling just days before a planned Christmas party, I got on my phone at 5:40 in the morning, searching reviews for emergency roof repairs. Since Always Construction services appeared to be outstanding, I left a message; just eight minutes after they opened, I received a call from the owner, Julian, who assured me he would have someone out that day. As it turned out, the eight inches of wet show we received the previous week was causing havoc to my already-in-need-of repair flat roof. Without going into great detail, suffice to say that the existing roof damage was extensive, as two additional rooms also began leaking. Julians wonderfully capable crews took care of all of installing a new roof, removing all the interior damage, creating new ceilings where needed, and painting everything to perfection. We needed stucco work done and went with Always Construction Services llc, because they provided an estimate that was detailed as to materials to be used, including higher quality materials which were not included in other estimates. Evennwith the use of higher quality materials, the Always Construction Services estimate was lower than other estimates we had received.The work commenced exactly when we were told it would begin and was completed when we were told it would end. During the process, we noticed that one of the products that was delivered was not what we had been told would be used. We contacted Julian and he was already aware of the issue and had already developed a solution. The promised material was on site the next morning and there was no delay in work.The crew conducting the work were all very polite and very neat. Surfaces that required draping were draped and protected. The work product was exact and professional. All waste was removed from the site and you could hardly tell that they had been there, except for the great new stucco.During the whole process, Julian was available and easy to reach. He routinely initiated contact to make sure everything was progressing to our satisfaction. We are extremely happy with our experience with this company and we highly recommend them.

In recent years, I needed to hire a contractor for various repairs on my house on more than one occasion. Last winter, we had a couple of substantial leaks in our roof, and after having a few contractors out, who all quoted me for a complete roof replacement, I came across Julian and his crew at Always Construction. They came out and immediately diagnosed the problem. The problem wasnt that we needed a new roof. The problem was that the drainage boxes had separated at points from the drainage channels coming off the roof. Always Construction completed the repair in an afternoon at a fraction of the cost of an unnecessary roof replacement. I was very grateful for the honesty and integrity displayed by Always Construction, so when I needed my porch restuccoed before the winter, I reached out to Always Construction again. This was a complicated job because of the state of disrepair the porch was in. As the job progressed, we realized the lath had utterly disintegrated, and there was damage to the underlying plywood. I was afraid the job would turn into a complete demolition project, but the very skilled, seasoned crew from Always Construction salvaged the situation. Mauricio and the crew took every new development in stride, problem-solving and offering solutions, and the results were flawless. Julian was upfront about cost and options every step of the way. He made what could have been a very stressful situation a lot easier to navigate. I will always go to Always Construction first when I need repairs on my house because of their level of respect, honesty, and commitment to quality.

One common saying in Santa Fe is that it is the Land of Manana. It is very difficult to find honest, professional and deadline driven contractors. Always Construction met all of the deadlines and the company operated well within the budget set at the beginning of the project. This was a fairly big job (Roof on 3 structures, stucco on 3 structures, new stair installation and paint). No job is perfect but always fixed every item on the punchlist and made the necessary adjustments/ accommodations. The crew was professional and the work was well done. The owner of the company Julian was extremely transparent throughout the process. He kept us updated and was well informed of the status of the work. He provided adequate notice of any required changes and updates. I strongly recommend the business.

Julian and his crew were fantastic. We had tenants in the house and his customer service was phenomenal. He was super responsive, explained things well, and there was no issue too small or big that he couldn’t take care of. His estimates of time, labor, and materials was spot on and very fair. Quality of workmanship was excellent, his advice was great, and Julian is a real problem solver! He performed interior and exterior refurbishment, protected belongings, and cleaned up spotlessly. He is efficient, listens well, has a great team who really love and respect him too. This experience was like having a really knowledgable father who cared about doing everything right. Our family company hired Always Construction Services to re-do the exterior of a shopping center we own in Eldorado, New Mexico. This 40,000 square foot center is approximately 25 years old, with a stucco exterior and exposed wooden structure. I have been a construction manager for 35 years, but I needed to manage this project from a distance, since I live on the east coast. I came across Julian Moreno, the Owner of Always Construction Services, while searching for qualified contractors on-line. Our building needed extensive repairs to the stucco and elastomeric paint applied to the stucco, which drew me to Julian. He is both a stucco contractor, as well as a painting contractor. Having both phases handled by one contractor made the most sense from a coordination, quality and warranty perspective.From my first conversation to my last, which extended over a six month period, I was impressed with Julians construction knowledge. I could tell he cared about doing the job correctly. He was completely dialed in on all the relevant details and safety protocols that I needed for this job. He was a good listener, very observant, and a great source of ideas regarding various ways that we could achieve our construction & renovation goals. It did not take long before we began to feel that Mr. Moreno cared a good deal about our level of “customer satisfaction”, and that he wanted us to be completely satisfied when the job was done.The Always Construction Services crew that came out was exceptional! It was the same group of individuals every day, so they became very familiar with the job. Over a two-week period, we got to know them and they got to know us. These professionals worked thoughtfully and expertly. They did not cut corners. It was obvious that they took pride in their work, and that they carried their own standard of quality. For example, even though outside steps down to our garage had already received two coats of paint, when all was said and done and the job was being completed, one of the gentlemen repainted them again before leaving because a few minor chips of paint that had occurred during the course of up-and-down foot-traffic by the crew.At the end of every workday, photos of the day’s progress were taken by a crew-member, to be sent to Mr. Moreno. Regularly, Mr. Moreno would check-in with us and ask if we had any concerns with the day’s progress; he ended nearly every conversation by saying that he wanted to ensure that we were pleased with the way the job was proceeding.When the job was completed, Mr. Moreno came by and did a final walk-through with us. I expected the usual delays and numerous obstacles, but my foundation was finished in less than a week. No hidden price increases or issues. Hard to believe a concrete slab might be considered beautiful—but it is. I suspect Ill be using them for my stucco needs as well. And my stucco does have many, many needs. I highly recommend Always.

I just had the entire exterior of my house painted by Always Construction. Last year they did a great job painting the entire interior of the same house. The outside now looks as good as the inside. I could not be more pleased. Julian’s crew did an excellent job from prep to clean-up. When my neighbor expressed concerns about possible overspray affecting the side of his house, the crew placed plastic tarps along the length of his house to prevent any impact and ease his concerns. Julian visited and inspected the site multiple times during the many days they worked to power wash, mask, repair stucco, paint with Elastomeric coating and stain the canales and timber trim. The crew came back a few days later and touched up any spots that needed it, and even cleaned my skylights. The work, which included significant stucco repair, trim repair, painting, and staining, was completed on time and within budget. My house needed a new entryway door and I tried to DIY it, but once I opened up the wall I found a pretty serious structural issue that I definitely couldnt handle on my own. I emailed Always Construction during the Memorial Day weekend and the owner came out within half a day to come look at the situation, discuss what needed to be done, and give me an estimate. Im sure this was a small job for them, but they recognized that I was in a really bad spot and made it a priority to help me out.I think their prices are completely reasonable considering the quality and speed of the work and the professionalism and clear communication I received through the entire process. I havent even painted the door and fresh stucco yet (I requested to do the painting and interior repairs to save a little money and they were very respectful and didnt try to push me to let them do it) and have been getting compliments from my neighbors on how great it turned out. I cant recommend them highly enough and will be using them for any contracting jobs in the future.I think its also worth noting that even though my partner was there they recognized that I was the homeowner and the one to make decisions. They never tried to talk to my boyfriend instead of me which hasnt always been my experience as a woman with a male partner.

We had Always Construction renovate the stucco on our house in Santa Fe in May 2024. They were very thorough, and completed the work to our complete satisfaction. The team was good about cleaning up as well. 8 years ago we had a section of our house re-stuccoed by a different contractor - that result was inferior to the work Always did. Julian and the crew were very responsive to any requests during the work. We would use them again, should we need major maintenance or renovations.

These repairs were made and no extra charges were added to the initial bid for the job. Five workers were assigned to do the work. Every day they showed up on time and worded hard. In September, 2021, we bought a house in Eldorado at Santa Fe which was in need of a new roof, new Minisplits and an addition of a 500 SF Portal. After interviewing Contractors in the area, we hired Julian Moreno with Always Construction Services based on his highly rated 5 star reviews.Even though he was extremely busy this time of year, Julian brought together 3 sub-contractors to accomplish these three projects before winter weather set in.The most impressive of these three subs was Hector Chavez (HCN Construction), who almost single handedly built the new Portal within the 60 day schedule. The new TPO roofing sub contractor (All Seasons Roofing) was slightly less impressive, but all problems were corrected with Julian’s supervision. Finally, the new Minisplits were installed by Catanach Mechanical. Clarence Catanach also performed several smaller projects for us.Whenever there was any problem, I would notify Julian by text, which was immediately followed by a call from Julian, meeting the problem head on, any time of day or night! It’s very rare to get this kind of attention from most General Contractors, but Julian Moreno takes great pride in his communication skills and solving problems when they arise.In the end, we were very pleased with the work accomplished on our new home by Always Construction Services and have settled into our new Santa Fe home before the cold weather set in, meeting our aggressive schedule.Many thanks to Julian and his team!!!

Always Contruction and owner Julian, what can I say!!! He is a man of his word and he answers the dang phone at 11:30pm on Christmas Eve Eve!!! That in itself, made me a customer forever!!! I had a leak on my roof and just discovered it at 11:30pm, on Saturday, December 30th. He answered my call assured me he would get one of his very capable workers, Marlon Hernandez, to go out first thing in the morning. Being a man of his word, he called me promptly at 8:30pm, the next morning, to let me know Marlon would arrive at 9:30am. He did!!! Now, I did contact two other companies, neither of which answered that evening and I just received a call from one of the two on Wednesday, December 27th, too late to be of any help whatsoever. Julian and his staff, simply amazing!!! I have absolutely, no reservation in letting you know that Always Construction will forever have my deeptest respect and however I may of any use to them, I will. Speaking with experience of many past home repairs and jobs, Always Construction proved to be a most professional, quality business that I would recommend wholeheartedly to any homeowner with high standards. I had a full roof tear off, new roof installation, along with cleanup and touchup repairs to finish the job to my satisfaction. I had a great experience with Julian and Always Construction Services!I had some previous stucco work and viga and headboard repair done by a very unprofessional company, that left me with my house unfinished and with a lot of damage.So, I had to research a new construction company that had excellent reviews and that I could trust to fix the mess the other company left me with.Julian , the owner of Always Construction Services met me at my house, once by himself and again with the construction team to walk my entire house and let me explain what I needed done to fix the mess that previous company left.They were all attentive and listened to what I wanted done. This was so relieving and gave me hope that I could get the work fixed and by a reputable company.Danilo, the Foreman, and the rest of the team showed up shortly thereafter and were on time everyday, working non- stop for the next 3 weeks, diligently doing great work fixing the damage done in a very professional manner.Danilo would walk the property with me, whenever I would ask and answer my questions and describe the work that had been done. It was very reassuring.He would also come to me with repairs they would find that were outside of the work we contracted for, describe them and leave it up to me, if I wanted to fix them as well or not.I got a complete comprehensive overall look into the needed and necessary repairs beyond my initial scope, without any pressure to add them..it was simply brought to my attention and I had the choice to say yes or no to repair what they found while doing the initial work.Danilo kept precise daily records of the men working, their hours and the material used on the project. I was sent a weekly invoice with all these and pictures of any receipts, for added materials that were needed. All very professional.The team of guys were always on time, professional and cleaned up after themselves. They were all extremely friendly and respectful also.This ended up being a big construction job and my house was in need of a lot of repair that would have cost me a lot more down the road, if I hadnt been shown the damage and given the choice to get the work done all at once and cheaper while they already had them exposed, than later on and more damage done.I give Julian, Danilo and his team the biggest A++ for their transparent work style, billing, professional and respectful manner and overall enjoyment of their attitudes while working on my house.I couldnt recommend them more highly. Santa Fe is full of shady contractors that are fly by night scam artists.Always Construction Services is not one of them by far. Julian at Always Construction delivered quality work for a complete home stucco wrap repair - on time and within budget. What impressed me most was his willingness to listen to my specific needs for completing the project, visiting the house twice, and providing different quotes for varying levels of service so I could select the best choice. We also worked on scheduling the perfect time for the job. My buckling stucco sections were removed, repaired and sealed with a 5 year warranty. The stucco repairs were done correctly and quickly over a week’s time including stucco on all roof parapets All porch areas and wooden posts were masked to protect them. All appliances such as lighting were removed and reinstalled. Julian provided us a detailed scope of work for each of the project. During the repairs he gratuitously added a few additional repairs at no extra cost. Quality work in Santa Fe is hard to find and Always Construction can be counted on to be responsive, deliver good service, listen to your needs, stay within budget, and complete their work on schedule. I contacted proprietor Julian Moreno at Always Construction Services and he came by soon after to assess our situation. Once we agreed on direction, he worked closely with me and paint experts to be sure we had the correct colors and types of product for maximum life. In a word, the quality of Always Construction Services’ work is exceptional. After almost 40 years, I had to re-stucco a 135-foot wall along the front of my property that had weathered badly and cracked in numerous places. Julian, the owner of Always Construction, and his crew clearly take pride in their work. They put mesh over the old stucco, applied two base coats of stucco and then the final color coat. Steve, who did the base coats, is a perfectionist, doing a meticulous job, which I am sure will stand the test of time. After getting quotes from three companies (the only three who returned our calls) and talking with the contractors, we were confident that Always Construction was the company we wanted to work with to replace and expand our driveway (from 2 cars to 7) and solve a long-term water drainage issue.From the beginning and throughout the entire project, this team exceeded our expectations. Julian and his crew repaired a leak in an upstairs bedroom. The leak came in from the deck and created a very big hole in the flooring and other major areas. The deck, sliding door, flooring and garage ceiling needed repair. The deck and sliding door were replaced. They did an excellent job. Every detail was addressed. All repairs look as good as new. The outstanding thing about their work was the professionalism with which they did it. Julian was proactive in staying in touch with me. I could always count on him to contact me when he said he would. The crew arrived every day at the decided time. Julian stayed in touch with them on an ongoing basis. If I had a question at anytime, I could easily reach him. Everyday when the crew left, they cleaned up the area. At the end of the work, everything was left spotless. Upon inspection, Julian had a worker return and do some final finish work that I had not see. I am very pleased with the project from start to finish and am working on another project with them in the very near future.
