We woke to a flooded basement, called Drain Rite at 7am and their team was on site by 10:30 which is so appreciated. The techs were professional, friendly and informative, even when the service needed was different than anticipated. A day later a follow-up was needed and that call was also immediately prioritized and completed within a few hours under the residential guarantee. On the second visit, the tech took the time to show me the camera shots and provided guidance about our cast-iron pipes without pressure to add more services immediately. I appreciate the honest assessment and we definitely call Drain Rite for the future work .

Went downstairs before bed to find my toilet and shower flooded with sewage on a Sunday evening. I gave Rochester Drain Rite a call at 9pm, and Jacqueline answered and was a pro, talked me through what to expect got me all set up quickly!Harvey from Rochester Drain Rite was out within 20 minutes. Harvey checked my sewer outlet, the pipes between the shower and sink, and more. After trying a number of things, they realized they would likely have to remove the toilet. After removing the toilet, they were able to identify the source of the clog and clear it out. Moral of the story: avoid Charmin 2 ply toilet paper, and check on your toilets after guests leave!I am so very appreciative and impressed by the entire service end to end. I highly recommend Rochester Drain Rite.

I had a plugged main drain in one of our facilities which cause it to back up into several of our bathrooms. I contacted the company who installed the lines, but they could not find the blockage and gave up for the day and said they would be back “sometime” the next day. We could not open without bathrooms so I called Drain Rite. Curt (the Tech) arrived in less than 30 minutes and after multiple attempts in different clean outs, removing a toilet, and snaking various areas, found the problem and solved it! Open for business! Not the cheapest option, but solved the problem and I will use them again. Thank you Drain Rite!

Being a homeowner, there are always unexpected things that happen....like a floor drain backing up. It can give you anxiety as it can do damage in a hurry. Curt is very hard working! Im told they have been open about 30 years and I have been at my location for starting my 33 year! I called Drain Rite because they were advertised and I remembered their name, but, after the 1st time I have NEVER called on anyone else. The last time Curt came on a Sunday and helped me! The job they do is outstanding! They are thourough, kind and absolutely know what they are doing. This job cant be easy and they make it look as if it is. My KUDOS and Thanks go out to this team!!!! Our main line to our septic tank was partially blocked causing downstairs toilets and drains to run slow. After trying to clear it myself, I called Drain Rite in the evening and they returned my call within the hour and said a technician would be out the next afternoon. Jake arrived pretty close to the stated time and was able to scope out the drain and show me exactly where the blockages occur. He also shared a few ideas on how we can avoid or eliminate blockages ourselves in the future.Jake was really efficient, personable and knowledgeable. If youre on here frantically reading reviews, trying to decide which company to call like I was when I had a plumbing emergency (idk much about plumbing, but to me, it was an emergency), just take a deep breath & stop searching. Call Drain Rite. The woman who answered the phone & got me set up for service (i didnt catch her name, she did say it, but I forgot because I was a stress case at the time) was an absolute gem! Seriously, the sweetest, efficient, & a straight shooter. I was off the phone at 2:14PM. At 3:17PM, just over an hour later, I was notified by text that a technician was on the way to my house. Jake was done by 4:05PM. He was great. Definitely my hero. Went from what felt like a crisis, to peace in such a short amount of time. & the price was shocking (far less expensive than I had anticipated). I would absolutely recommend Drain Rite to anyone. These guys are highly recommended! I really appreciate a company that stands by their work, gets it done fast, and done right.We had our laundry room drain start backing up on a Sunday morning. I didn’t know why our drains were backing up at the time so I started calling plumbers and companies like Rotor Router, because we live in the country and being Sunday morning, I either got an answering machine, or somebody that said it was going to be a long time before they could come out. When I called Rochester Drain Rite I was pleased to have a real person answer the phone, She reassured me they could get somebody out to us within 2 hours, wow. Curt showed up on time and was professional; he went out of his way to keep our new floors clean. Curt even explained what he found and gave me some tips to trouble shoot in the future. The pump was replaced and working in about an hour. I was told the work was guaranteed and the pump came with a warranty. I never really believe in warranties but I needed to use it a few days later. Yes we had the new pump stop working and called Rochester Drain Rite; they had somebody out to us in just over 2 hours. The second Tech Norm was as professional as Curt. Norm found a thin plastic disc that had been sitting flush on the bottom of the drain basket; this was not visible as the water had sewage in it and being flat couldn’t be felt. The bottom line is, they had our pump up and running in about 30 minutes and absolutely no additional cost.Rochester Drain Right will be my first call if I ever have another drainage problem.Sincerely,William B.

My kitchen sink drain plugged up and my attempts to unplug it were unsuccessful. So I called my heating/cooling contractor (Tonna Mechanical) and they immediately recommended Rochester Drain-Rite without my even asking for a recommendation. I called RDR and they gave me a same day appointment. The technician arrived on time after sending me a text stating that he was on his way. I showed him the situation and he brought in his electric powered snake and sent it in 50 ft. Surprisingly it didnt unplug the drain. So he next connected a water hose to the nearby wash tub and inserted the other end (with some sort of gadget attached) into the drain pipe and then turned on the tub faucet to pressurize the drain line. After a short time a noticeable pop was heard and the drain was then determined to be now clear. He and I then discussed the situation afterwards and it was determined that the cause of the plug was a bowl of rice that had been earlier send down the garbage disposal. The rice got wet and expanded in the drain pipe and completely plugged it. The technician (Herald) was obviously knowledgeable and competent and did a professional job. He stated that rice (and sometimes egg shells) was the number one cause of plugs like mine. He also noticed that there was a slight leak in the drain piping under the sink which he also fixed by replacing some piping and seals. Before leaving he completely cleaned up the area. It was a job well done and I was happy with the result and was also happy with the fee that was charged. I had previously estimated to myself that it would be considerably higher than was it was.

I have used Drain Rite, along with other companies, over the years to clear mainline clogs. Drain Rite staff has always been the most professional, friendly, and easiest to work with. After the last go round, the technician showed me with the camera where all the hard scale build up in my 60+ year old cast iron pipes was causing the issues. We discussed milling the pipes as the best solution. Milling is not a quick (day long process) or cheap operation. But, again, Drain Rite was upfront about the process and costs. Now, after seeing the results of the milling, those old pipes are looking really good! Who knew you could get so happy about seeing the inside of a clean sewer pipe. Thanks!
