    My experience with Halco from Dan coming for the audit to Tim and William doing the installation has been wonderful. My daughter had come to visit me and when she went downstairs to do some work on the computer. When she came back up, she asked why it was so much warmer, and I told her about having the attic and the area around the seal plate in the basement reinsulated. Dan just came back yesterday and did a second audit, and the second reading for air loss was way lower. my Hat off to Halco and the people who did the work

    Brandon and his team are amazing people and a true godsend! They went out of their way to work with me when no one else would and probably saved my life as winters in NY can get pretty cold without any heat (furnace died). Thank you again my earthly angels! 😇 From now on, Im only calling them! You should too. You wont regret it!

    Service rep was very pleasant & helpful. He was thorough & showed us the parts & explained what was wrong. They did not have the part to complete the job, but made sure someone would return the next day with it & finish the job. He did get our heat working at least temporarily.

    I have used Halco for 25 plus years. They are fantastic! Anytime I have a problem they are available right away. I called at 4 in the morning, they scheduled me so they can look at my leaking water heater that same day. Mike who installed my new water heater was fantastic!! Took care of everything.Thank you Mike! And Halco for amazing customer service!!!

    Exceptional service and personality. Very professional. Excellent customer service. Would definitely hire again and highly recommend!!! Ashley was also training a young man on the job. She’s multi talented in all aspects of her job. Always smiling and laughing and looking us in the eyes, great sense of humor!!Noah, Kevin and Nick we all great, efficient and kind. We had air sealing and cellouse insulation done along with a few other things. We are very satisfied!!!Let me not leave out the detailed clean up this crew performed in the end. No crumbs left behind. They even spoke high of the Forman how they respect him.

    Everyone from Halco has been super friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and always willing to answer our questions (and answer them so well)!First, Jamie doublechecked that our times were okay the day before we were scheduled, which I appreciate!Jenni and Zu completed our installation today and we received a detailed walkthrough afterwards of their work (which is lovely, were impressed by the quality and modernization). After the walkthrough we felt confident about our operating knowledge. There were a few oddities about our system that they had to wrestle with and we were grateful for their solutions and explanations. I was also impressed by their willingness to check with their project manager about improving things!Randall also walked us through the duct cleaning process and was friendly and efficient, and gave us suggestions for keeping our vents clean (and also provided useful input about ductwork oddities). Everyone made us feel well-informed about maintenance or common troubleshooting we might need to do in the future.Ive been so impressed with this company. Seriously quality work. Even the sales associate Ed explained his tests/audit and Halcos products and services patiently. There was no question wed use Halco after speaking with him. Highly, HIGHLY recommend.

    I needed to have my well pump replaced. Mike and Dan came out and made quick work of a difficult job. They replaced the pump, the wiring and added a special brace to protect the pump tubing, connected the wires and tested the system all while fending off lots of mosquitos! The pressure issue appears to be resolved! Really appreciate the excellent job, thank you so much!

    Andrew had to replace an existing faucet and did a lovely job. The new faucet that he picked up for me fits beautifully with my home decor and he tested it thoroughly before he left, explaining to me how things work.

    Halco has been a wonderful company to work with. My very elderly mother needed a lot of updates and changed from an oil furnace to an electric system. She had to use a NYSERDA grant to be able to do this. She had lots of questions along the way. Halco was always happy to quickly get back to her to answer questions. The workers were on time and professional .I would recommend Halco to anyone looking to get HVAC work done.

    Andrew came my house on time to repair hot water line which busted due to frozen temperatures.While we he was repairing my hot water line he noticed I didn’t have a lever to drain the hot line to prevent it from getting frozen again. He Installed a lever to drain the hot line and checked all of my lines for leaks.Andrew is an outstanding person and is a very knowledgeable plumber. He excessed my expectations.

    Halco is lucky to have repair techs like Mike representing the company. Courteous and patient with thoroughly explaining every step of the way, what he was doing. Little did I know but the valve that needed relacing was just going to be the tip of a much larger can of worms iceberg! Mike methodically went through the plumbing to find one corroded and plugged fitting after another! Yikes Im only house sitting for my in-laws and this boiler looked like it could have been found in Egyptian tomb with other relics.     I have been working with Alyshia for a new install for my home. This past spring my whole HVAC went. A big repair is always a little alarming. I have to say Alyshia took the time to walk us through every step. She has made sure that my husband and I have all our questions answered. Alyshia has gone above and beyond to make sure that we can find the right financing that works with us and that our home is looked at as a whole to assure that we will not run into any future problems. I promise you will not regret working with Halco especially if you have Alyshia working with you, they are here to help! Jenni and Zu did our new installation for a furnace, they were personable and made sure to work efficiently while keeping us updated through the process. At the end of the the install did a complete walkthrough of the updates they made and assure that we knew how to use the equipment.     As always HALCO was there in my hour of need. I did NOT have any heat. I called for assistance. I received an appointment for the next day. Taylor arrived at my home and identified the problem. He ordered the needed pump. When he tried to install the pump the fitting did NOT line up. He had to order new fittings. A day later he arrived and installed the pump. The heat has been working well. Taylor was very knowledgeable and did a great job repairing my burner.

    Worker Justice Center of NY have been with Halco for quite some time now! and we just received another excellent service from Anthony, AC Tech. I had to call for the AC not been working properly in our building, and Anthony came and serviced the office in no time. I only have but great things to say about him and his work performance.     What a great company. Needed someone immediately to repair my AC unit. Couldn’t believe I called and actually spoke to a very nice person who was able to set up an appointment right away. She had Pete at the house within a couple of hours to fix the problem. He was so professional and quickly repaired the AC unit. So impressed with the entire Halco team. Signed up for a yearly maintenance program which was at a great price and felt very confident that they would take care of any problems, plumbing, electrical etc. that I may have in the future.     Andrew was here today to check a toilet that was not filling properly. He quickly saw what he thought the problem was. In a matter of 10 minutes he replaced a part and it was working perfectly.     Radon mitigation project - Jim evaluated the job and came up with a recommendation. A few weeks later, a crew of 2 spent 3 days installing the system. The work inside the house was done cleanly with drop cloths, plastic barrier & vacuum when drilling through concrete, etc. There was one issue with a thin plastic soffit under the eaves being damaged, and they returned later in the week with a replacement. Radon level dropped to the safe zone!

    Had an energy audit done on my house and Tyler arrived promptly at the appointed time and was very professional. I was advised that I needed to update my electrical panel before having a heat pump, if I decided to purchase same, to 200 amp to handle to electrical current ( thanks for the advice and I will be soliciting estimates). Tyler checked my basement and attic for insulation and did the blower test. All in all I was very satisfied with how the audit was conducted and will be thinking over the aspects of having the heat pump installed.

Though I should add, Ed L has been a helpful mediator since our install, too.After a year of concerns, we have found these two techs who seem to really care and understand we cant afford to keep missing work for additional repair appointments. They have done their due diligence to look over our system, resolve our issues, explain everything to their higher ups (as well as us homeowners), and offered their assistance in the future, as needed.I will only be requesting them from here on out, and they know it.They deserve a kudos for their dedication to their clients.

    Zach and Tyler were excellent. On time, polite and efficient. They obviously knew the equipment they were installing. They worked non stop for 5 hours and when they were done, they cleaned up the whole area they had worked and removed all leftover boxes and other debris. Zach spent about 20 minutes explaining the system and how to use the remote. We are very pleased we chose HALCO to install our HVAC system.

    Halco has provided a variety of services for me over the last twelve years. I have always been pleased with the service provided. Esteban replaced an outdoor electrical outlet. The job was completed properly and everything is working again. As usual, Halco service technicians/electricians do a fabulous job. They were personable, knowledgeable, thorough and neat. He willingly answered all my question. He is a true professional. I have referred several of my friends to HALCO and they also have been more than satisfied with the work completed. My only issue I have with HALCO is that on a regular basis my original appointment has been cancelled because of employees being out sick. However, the next scheduled appointment is promptly schedule.

Highly recommended, give them a try. Im looking for some cost savings going forward. Should have done this sooner.

    We have worked with Halco for a long time, so when we moved into an older home, first thing we did was call them. Alyshia from Halco did a terrific job. First she sat with us and discussed in detail, everything we were concerned about in our home (electrical, heating, cooling, plumbing...) and took detailed notes. She also went over different financial assistance available and took into account our wishes for future upgrades, explaining pros and cons/what that would entail. She came out on a cold day, but was friendly and ready to work. She listened to us very attentively and wrote down what we wanted in our energy review. She then checked our whole house from basement to attic, pointing out things that needed working on, especially priority items. We learned a lot from just the first visit, about our home and what we need to do right away and also what we could do to make our home more energy efficient.     We have been having an issue of late with our water pressure sensor coming in from our well. It shut off twice in the past few weeks, even with little to no draw on water, so we would have to manually reset it.The team that came out today was FANTASTIC!! Very professional, got to the business at hand, and explained not only their diagnostic plan with me, but then exactly what they found and remediated. Being thorough, they also checked some other potential failure points to make sure there wasn’t anything else that could be on the way out, so I think we’ll be solid for quite some time to come.Also, while this was an expensive repair (which I anticipated since we thought it may have been related to the pump, and it was) we are on an annual contract with Halco, which saved us a lot of money for this call. Well worth the monthly cost.

    I called and set up a seasonal furnace appointment with Halco and they had availability as early as the next day. I had to be available for a 3 hour window. The tech (his name was Anthony) called to let me know he was 15 minutes away at 9am, which was great for me that he was going to be early! He did a thorough check of our furnace, told me what should and could be replaced, explained everything so I knew what the parts were and their function, and took care of it all the same day. He was very polite and thorough. I enjoyed using Halco’s services and will be using them again!

    The young man (Kent) that they sent out was very prompt and polite. It seemed to me that that the purpose of this trip was to sell me an expensive maintenance agreement. I would have expected that he would have changed the furnace filter. But he didnt. I was not impressed with this furnace Maintenance check up.UPDATE: It turns out the furnace filter is not one they usually carry on their trucks. They got the correct filter and came right out and installed it! Overall, I am pleased with their service, especially the two young men that they sent out here today!

    Weve had HALCO servicing our furnace at two homes for about 17 years now. We like the plan that charges a small monthly fee, which has many benefits. One of which, is the annual cleaning. Thankful for the recent tech and his knowledge about preventative maintenance in order to avoid future issues.

    Our technician, Mike, came out on a Friday evening, because we were without heat. He managed to diagnose the issue (something our previous plumber had not been able to do, despite repeated visits). He explained the problem, got our heat working temporarily, and followed up quickly with an estimate of a more permanent fix.
