I had an excellent experience with Dan at Gilman plumbing. He found a leak that another plumber was not able to find. He installed a new kitchen faucet for me and gave me advice on a R/O water system and installed that too. Dan was friendly, polite, efficient and knowledgeable. It’s such a relief for me to have a plumber that I can trust. He wore shoe covers in my home and kept a very clean work site. I will be calling him for all my plumbing needs. The work was also very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

Dan and Brian Gilman are the best! We have used them for many years...everything from bathroom remodel to outdoor frost free faucets and emergencies! They consistently come through 100%. Frequently recommend options to save money and have never led us to needless expense so we trust completely! Late last night came home from CA to leaking hot water tank and no hot water. We left text and Dan responded first thing Sunday morning! Within the next hour he arrived with new tank. Always responsive, professional, outstanding competence snd service, fair $$$ and all around nice guys! Highly recommend.

I remondeled the kitchen in a 1960’s house I purchased. This house never had a dishwasher or a garbage disposal before but since the plumbing had been installed under the sink, it had a weird configuration and the couplings often would separate causing water to flood the under sink cabinet. I looked on the Next Door app for recommended plumbers, filled out a short questionnaire and within minutes I received a phone call from Dan. I had submitted a picture of the current plumbing so it was easy for us to discuss what needed to be done over the phone. Dan was available within a couple hours, and worked up a new configuration for the piping so that it more compact and much more efficient, and also allows me more space within the cabinet. He did a fabulous job and at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend you give this family run business a call the next time you find the need to call a plumber!

We have an old house that had a broken trap, making the sewer back up into the basement. It was pretty gross and we couldn’t use the sinks, shower or toilets at all without it coming right back into the house. Gilman plumbing responded quickly and dug up the broken pipe from under our concrete basement floor, placed new pipe, snaked to the street and replaced the concrete floor all in one day. They were honest, did great work and the price was fair. Thanks guys!

I’ve called Gilman plumber a couple times over a couple years. This last job was speaking pressure valve Called on a Monday late afternoon and they came Tuesday morning. Was in a very tight spot. Brian was able to get in there remove the old and place in the new. Beautiful job!! He also climbed in my attic to look at a hot water heater that sometime will have to be replaced another awkward spot!! He can do it call when you need to need it!! Great work!!!

I consider myself a pretty handy guy, but an issue occurred that I didnt have the knowledge, skills, or tools to handle.To that end, I reached out to Gilman Plumbing. I always get a bit concerned when I let someone else work on my house, but that concern melted away within a few minutes of them being there.These guys did a superior job. They are meticulous, courteous, and efficient. They took the time to listen to all of my concerns, walk through the what and how of what was going on, and even entertained questions on some other things that werent even related to the work they were doing.The prices are reasonable. Overall a top notch business. Whenever the next plumbing issue inevitably comes up, my first call will be to them.

Called Gilman Plumbing after getting an astronomically high quote from APopular plumbing company. Dan showed up within the hour to take a look at my drain behind the bathtub. Dan gave me a very reasonable price and came back the next morning to replace the drain behind my tub. He showed up on time, cleaned up after himself and finished the job efficiently and for a good price. I’ll be calling Dan over at Gilman for all of our future plumbing needs and I’ll recommend them to anyone in need of a professional plumber.

Called Gilman because I thought my shower drain was leaking causing a stain on the ceiling below. He thought it might be leaking through the corner of the shower where grout was missing. He was right and I was able to fix it with a little bit of caulk. Lucky for me he is honest!My brothers shower was leaking behind the handle so I referred Gilman to him. After getting a couple estimates to snake an upstairs kitchen drain (one company estimate was almost 400 dollars and the person was afraid that some of the piping might be old and not all PVC and was hesitant to do it) , I found Brians company and was so happy that I did. He gave me a price to snake, made an appointment for the next day. Brian called to say he was on his way. Not only was he on time, but was also a little earlier. When Brian and Sam arrived, they both had masks on. They checked the one area for very small bathroom shower leak (only needs to be calked), checked the upstairs sink, went to basement to check the lines location and said all PVC line. Then he went to work unclogging. He explained why it happened (something to do with pitch of line and old house), and how to prevent from happening again. They also checked to make sure no leaking from upstairs sink (due to it originally being clogged, water seeped into the downstairs living room). I was very impressed with his professionalism, arrival time, explanation and pricing. I highly recommend Gilman Plumbing for any plumbing needs. If the need ever arises, Brian will be the first one I call.

He clearly knows what he’s doing: he offered to install a trap on my garbage disposal after noticing it didn’t have one, but after thoroughly checking and finding one installed in the basement underneath he told me I was all good. He was very flexible when I decided not to replace the faucet first time around, and was always very professional, courteous, and willing to answer any questions I had.

My pipes were constantly getting plugged going out to my septic system due to improper installation of pipe inside of the house. I had 2 other plumbers in the house that were not able to fix the problem permanently. My son tells me that there is water in the basement at about 7:00AM this morning. My ancient hot water heater was leaking all over the place. I stayed home from work to bail water and clean up.I searched for plumbers, saw Gilman Plumbing. I asked for a quote online and Brian got back to me right away. I asked for quotes from Home Depot and two other local plumbers. They were all either too expensive, or not very responsive. Called in a panic on the weekend as had water hammer in the pipes. Left a message and Brian called back immediately. A toilet not shutting off correctly was the problem. They ended up fixing one and replacing another toilet while here. Extremely happy with the replacement, not only because it works and looks a 1000X better than the old one but the part underneath that links the toilet to the sewer had rotted away and they replaced that. It was a liability waiting to happen as it was below the toilet and you couldnt see it. The water hammer ended up being serendipity. Thank you!!
