I had a leak where the shutoff to the toilet was, I could notfigure out where it was leaking. Gatti has a service fee and then an hourly rate. i hoped that it would be something fairly simple and it was and did not take long to fix and the plumber took the time to check in several areas to be sure that there were no other leaks and he explained how the leak first came about. I give them a 5 out of 5.

Ali and Andrew were great. Worked as a team quickly and efficiently. The entire project which consisted of running a new 2 kitchen drain line to a different sewer connection in my crawl space about 24 foot away from my double kitchen sinks. Also included new sink traps. And they cleaned up afterwards. Excellent work!!!

Home repairs are never fun. But when you have these guys come to your home you are in GREAT hands! Mike and Ricky were amazing. NO mess and really did what they could to not cut out our ceiling! Mike found another way to look at our pipes by cutting the wall in our spareroom. This man made the cleanest cut into our dry wall and even was able to put it back in with a few screws. leaving us to just re tape and mud and paint!AMAZING craftsmanship. Highly recommend.

The plumber who originally installed it (NOT Gatti PLumbing) cracked the 2 x 6 in the wall when installing, rendering the Pot filler floppy on the wall.Ali from Gatti came to our home, on time, with a heads up call :30 before as well. We used Gatti to repair a toilet that was leaking into the subfloor on our 2nd floor. William was prompt, professional, and even courteous not to wake my sleeping infant. He also took the time to listen to my questions/concerns, and helped me understand what he was doing and why throughout the process. What was really outstanding though was how fair Gatti was with billing. This service call wound up requiring multiple trips due to the part not being in stock locally, and then the OEM shipping the wrong part to boot. While these mistakes were not Gattis fault, they ate the cost and I was only charged a reasonable rate for the time that was actually used to fix my toilet (rather than running around chasing down parts). I truly felt respected and valued as a customer, and I think in the end they probably lost money on the transaction due to the number of trips needed before the toilet was actually fixed. But, they have gained a loyal customer. Thank you William (and Mike and Cody who also helped at one point) for treating me fairly throughout this unexpectedly difficult toilet repair job. Toilet works great now!

I called this company because they were recommended to me. I needed some warranty work done on my whirlpool water heater. The office staff was extremely friendly and helpful when making my appointment. The technician did exactly as I asked him called me 10 minutes before he was arriving today. This gave me enough time to meet him there instead of waiting all day wondering when somebody was going to show up.The technician was extremely friendly and easy to get along with he was clean and very professional got me up and running in less than a half hour. Best plumbing business I have ever dealt with. I phoned them early in the day and spoke with a very kind and empathetic rep, Robin. She explained they had a full schedule for same day service, but she would she what she could do. Within one hour, got a call from Mike. He was at my house within 30 minutes to replace a check valve on my sump pump. He was very professional and personable and the job was completed perfectly. In the last month I have had Gatti out for three different issues -- a leaky bathtub, backflow inspection, and hot water tank replacement. I have been impressed with each different person. Both the plumbers and the customer service staff are clear and upfront with pricing and share consistent information -- also providing warning when they see something that may cost more. All three prices have been in line with what was initially communicated. As to my water heater, it could not have been an easier or faster experience -- Gatti was out and had the water tank replaced before the other company I had called even returned my call. Could not recommend them more highly -- especially if you live in an older house.

Plumbing nightmares! Not with Gatti. From the first call ,they were ultra professional and responsive. Then the person who came out same day to diagnose the problem, again super tuned in. Then when we realized that the high-end tank less system we bought from someone else died and was out of warranty,. These guys had a better unit and a brand new one installed before the week was out. By the way, the total cost with labor was less than the cost to ship the broken parts from the original equipment manufacturer. We cannot endorse Gatti & the team from Emily to Jim to Carlo any stronger. I am in the Customer Experience business and work with some of the most well known brands and companies on the planet. I have never seen a local company, let alone a plumbing contractor move, and act with such speed and precision. I will never use another outfit in this part of the country. I had a leak in the buried water service line to my house that involved coordination with the City of Rochester water department and neighbors that were affected by having to shut off the water main while the work took place. I was very nervous about the scope of the work, how long it would take, and whether there were more problems than were visible from the surface. Gatti gave me a prompt estimate, talked me through the work, and handled all the details involved in the job. Their work was top-notch, the crew that arrived was polite and efficient, and their office was a pleasure to deal with. Will definitely use Gatti plumbing again in the future!

They wouldnt give me a quote over the phone and said theyd need to send someone to take a look, and that alone, would cost me a chunk of change. I just had the nicest young man fix my pipe and I forgot to ask him his name. The price was reasonable also. After my experiences with other plumbers I expected a huge bill. Mike from Gatti called me back at 7:30 am Saturday morning and said he could be at our house in Victor within 60-90 minutes. I needed a pretty sophisticated work done - to replace whole shower system in an old house, it was of an old standard and not easy to replace. I called a few places with best ratings, some refused to give any estimate over the phone, gatti did it gracefully-over the phone. They new exacty what to do.I also had a tech came from another service, he wast sure what to do and gave me double cost estimate of gatti. Gattis phone support was great - the lady on the phone was knowledgeable and got the answers from engineers quick. It was easy to get an engineer onthe phone and his consultation wass helpful. Donna, the receptionist was good in receiving pictures from me via the email and sending me options. The tech did a good job. One of the parts he installed was defective- i called next morning, people on the phone were understanding. The tech came , replaced one of the parts and this was it. I am very pleased.

They brought out the big guns on this job! John G third generation Gatti plumber! They probably wanted to atone for cancelling my earlier appointment due to Super Bowl flu absenteeism. But John managed to raise this review from three stars to 5. Big tip to save money: if it is to fix/replace parts in a toilet go out and buy the parts yourself, not only saving money but ensuring the part is available so no repeat visits.

I can’t give a full 5 stars just because of the cost, although you get what you pay for and it is a trade service. Please take that into consideration, it is plumbing and it’s a specialized service and I honestly don’t know what a fair rate is. I just hate parting with that amount of $. I would give 5 stars for service. I recently had a major clog in my main line and Ricky S came out and fixed it. He was very customer oriented, and tried everything within reason to keep the cost down. Unfortunately, somethings are beyond control. Ricky explained the situation to me, he attempted to resolve the clog another way to avoid getting a truck in to remove the water (that’s partly why the cost was high) but when that did not work he gave me options and I chose the higher cost option. I found the honesty and giving me options very refreshing. Ricky also thought about the smell that was in the basement due to the clog and helped to eliminate that. The price was way more than I was planning on spending, but I have to say the quality and customer service was way more than I was expecting. Like I said if it wasn’t for the price I would have given 5 stars!

Gatti Plumbing saved what shred of sanity I had left after my basement flooded this past weekend.Our basement began flooding shortly after midnight Saturday morning. What a panicked and helpless feeling! Luckily the North Greece Fire Department had a pump we could borrow. Completely desperate, I called around to various plumbers who advertised online they offered “emergency plumbing services”. After many failed attempts leaving messages w/ various answering services - just trying to reach ANYONE who could help me, I finally had someone “scheduled” to come at 10 AM from Taylor Heating, Inc.Gatti Plumbing called back a short time later but I told them I already had an appointment with another company scheduled for someone to come out. The guy was super nice, wished me luck, and said if anything happens and I need them to come out to just give them a call back. It must have been a premonition because the other plumbing company completely failed me - but that’s a totally separate Google review!In any case, I called Gatti back and they were able to have two technicians at my house less than an hour later. So incredibly helpful!! The owner himself came out later that evening to repair the clogged gravity drain in my crock (we have a walk-out floating basement with a crock and gravity drain - no sump pump).If you’re in need of professional, prompt, compassionate customer service, fair pricing, call Gatti Plumbing. I was doing a basement remodel in my home and didnt have a plumbing guy. None of my friends had any recommendations so I was out on my own to find a plumber. Gatti was quick to schedule a free quote and outlined the work that had to be done in a very professional manner. Of the three other local plumbers I had contacted, Gatti was $1000 cheaper than the rest.They were very flexible and worked around my schedule. The workers were respectful toward me and my home. What impressed me most about their service was their commitment to the quoted price. During the job some complications arose (not to the fault of the workers) that turned the half-day job into a 12 hour job. Gatti was at my house from 9am to 9pm that day and I was expecting additional charges for the extra time. To my surprise they stuck to the quoted price and apologized that the job took longer than expected. Their work was very clean and to code. It is safe to say I now have a plumbing guy and someone to recommend to my friends/family.
