    Colin the plumber was the first place to answer at 10pm on a Monday night! Our sump pump failed and water was backing up in the basement. We were so lucky to have Mark Fry come out to help us. Mark was able to identify the issue and resolve it, all while keeping me very calm! Mark replaced the sump and gave us some pointers on additional things we can do, such as installing a backup. He even helped us answer questions we had on other things in the house. I felt Mark was very genuine and I’m grateful he was able to answer the emergency service call. I will definitely be contacting Colin the plumber and Mark again for future service!

    Colin is my go to guy for anything plumbing. Not only is he professional, knowledgeable, prompt, reasonably priced, he does excellent work and hes a nice guy to boot. He has done work for me at four locations so far and I have been completely satisfied with the quality of his work. He recently installed a new hot water heater for me and the tenants were thrilled with how quickly they had hot water restored and how clean Colin left the worksite. I highly recommend Colin the Plumber. If you have any plumbing needs, give him a call.

    Mitch and the Colin The Plumber team were absolute life savers! I bought a new home recently and immediately had plumbing issues in the basement. They were at my house within 15 minutes, provided a full detailed explanation as to what needed to be done, along with a cost estimate. Mitch then came back on Tuesday to complete the work, as there was no need for them to complete the work over the weekend (it was a friday). The install of a sump pump and pump for the laundry was so well done and the customer service was amazing. Im so glad I saw their truck drive by randomly right when I needed a plumber. Best choice I ever made! They will be my forever go-to plumber from now on. They also came back out and did an estimate for additional work. They scheduled that quickly, came out within a couple days and provided a reasonable estimate. Im so grateful for their honesty and quality work, without price gouging. 100% would recommend!

    From start to finish, Colin and his team were Prompt, professional, friendly and competent. I needed emergency drain service on a weekend, and had Colin’s team at my house within two hours of calling dispatch.Things that stood out to me:-Good communication from everyone; The dispatcher called to keep me informed on technician arrival time, and I received a text to confirm arrival from the actual techs. During the job, Colin and Mark made sure to answer all my questions, explain in detail the services they were providing, and the condition of my plumbing system.-Recommended preventative actions; Colin advised me on how to improve my plumbing setup, some DIY and some professional work.

    Problem: No hot water.Long story short: Colin is an amazing businessman and runs a great company. After some frustration regarding my old hot water tank (which he did not install), he personally came out and made sure I was taken care of and even educated us in how to properly maintain our water heater in the future.     Mitch came out the day we noticed a leak in our basement and assessed the situation. He gave us the details of what was going to be fixed and how.     Mitch was fantastic! He arrived at my house within 15 minutes of my emergency after hours call. When he didn’t have the parts he needed in his truck, he went to the shop and came right back to fix the issue. He also worked directly with the MCWA person to turn the water service on and off from the road.     I had a leak from my downstairs pipe where the drain is for the sink/washer. Mitch from Colin the Plumber was able to come over within 1 hour of me calling and quickly diagnosed the issue and found the source of the leak/water damage. He came back first thing in the morning the next day to cut the wall and replace the pipe. Done very quickly, cleaned up the mess, and was fairly priced.     Nick and team were great! Quick responses from Lynette were very helpful. They fixed a leak with a new faucet that I love. I also liked how they were able to put in a new house pre-filtration system that is easier for me to use in the future with changing out filters and how they added an on/off valve for my countertop fluoride filter.     First, let me say I wasn’t expecting to get an answer at 10:30pm when I noticed a leak stain on our living room ceiling, coming from our shower right above it; but they sure did answer! Got me in next day.Mitch came to see the issue we had with a possible leak. Our shower didn’t have an access point to see the valves/piping so he needed to go through the drywall. He made every effort to make the most minimal hole in the wall through the medicine closet to gain access to the valve/piping and check for the leak.He was kind, courteous, prompt, and efficient. He was also able to give us the contact for someone to reseal our tile.

    Colin The Plumber was fantastic!We had been having troubles with our kitchen sink being backed up. Contacted him Tuesday and was at our house by 11:30am that morning. He cleared the sink that day and everything was great! Well we had a few more issues i guess and our main line was backed up. That was discovered tonight! We called Colin and he came right over. He brought in his big gear and cleaned the main line. Then he checked everything with a camera to make sure we were good. He let me be with him every step and showed me everything he did.     Ive been using Colin the Plumber for years and have always had good results.I had to call again today because the upstairs apartments sink in my duplex was backing up into the downstairs kitchens sink. I needed someone to come and clear the blockage in the line.They notified me in the morning what time they would be coming and who would be showing up, then they sent a follow-up message when they were on their way, which I appreciate very much.The guy who showed up, Mark, was right on time and was very professional. He took time to make sure that no mess was made while he was doing his work and he cleaned everything up perfectly afterwards.He was in and out in under an hour and everything was back in proper working order.These guys are always clean, professional, punctual, communicative people that you are comfortable having in your home.I would strongly recommend them for any emergency plumbing needs and would definitely use them again (though I hope I dont have to!).

    I had a sewer backup issue & called Colin. The plumber who came out tried hard with a couple of different machines, but couldnt clear the obstruction, and explained the next steps in getting the city involved. In these situations the homeowner is in between the plumber & city, potentially facing very expensive repairs. I spoke with Colin.. the following day he showed up personally with two plumbers to show city workers exactly what his plumber had encountered. In the face of this demonstration the city then took action. Everything happened pretty much how Colin & his team figured it would. He obviously cares an awful lot about his reputation and his customers.. highly recommended.

    We have called Colin twice over the past few months. The first time was a leaking pipe by the water heater. After seeing the excellent work he does I called him when our main water shut off started to leak. I also had a pressure regulator installed. He is a professional, skilled and all around great guy.     Our shower developed a leak which made using the shower nearly impossible. We called Colin, and despite his busy schedule, he came over in the evening, quickly diagnosed the source of the leak, explained to us in simple language what was wrong (water was pushing back from the faucet because the pipe to which it connected was barely long enough), and fixed it. When we told him we were new home owners, Colin went beyond the call of duty and offered to do a quick check of the basement plumbing; he noted an issue which we should keep an eye on. Colin was friendly, quick, accommodating, professional and just excellent, and we will be calling him the next time we need a plumber.

    5 Stars for Colin. He came right over when our basement flooded from the storm. Even though we had pressurized caps plugging the drains, the storm blew them out due to the pressure - Colin put in heavy duty storm plugs for us. The storm water flooded out our hot water tank too but he was able to get it up and running. Colin to the rescue! So glad he responded so quickly to help us. Colin is our guy and should be yours too.     Colin was very prompt to my request for service, and his colleague Nick showed up within 2 hours of calling. Explained what he was going to do, and the potential costs. Within 2 hours he had the sewer line cleared out, and showed me the feed from the scope camera to show the condition of the pipe and small amounts of roots in it. The price seemed maybe a bit high compared to online searches, but I didnt get multiple quotes, and for the service I received I was still happy.
