    To Whom It May Concern:I first used Tidal Electric Services (TES) back on May 28, 2015, and was very pleased with the work they did for me. Keith replaced an electrical controller board on a generator that we had at the time. It was not installed by TDS back when the house was built in 2008.It was not until August of 2020 did I called TES again because the generator was not coming on for its 10-minute weekly test cycle. TES’s Technician Trey and Luis his apprentice came out to find the generator’s starter had gone bad. Trey explained & showed me, how he came to this conclusion and that it may be wise to replace my current generator. Armando, the Project Manager came out to review the situation. I accepted the situation as explained and determined the need for a new generator.Trey and Luis installed the new GENERAC generator on the first of September and I have been pleased with the unit ever since.Trey was very helpful and explained each step during the process of determining the eventual solution to my problem. I would recommend Tidal Electric Services as the result of my first encounter with them back in 2015 and as the successful result of the generator problem in 2020.Very professional and good communicator!     Josh assembled, leveled, adjusted height, checked the moving operation and electrical service to this under the counter Kitchen Aid trash compactor before he installed it. Home Depot had delivered the compactor in a sealed box, but declined to install it. This job took patience and professionalism to work in a tight space to install the expensive compactor. Josh double checked & adjusted parts for a smooth operation . I couldn’t be more pleased with the finished job. Thank you Tidal Electrical Services & Josh for coming to my rescue!

    I ordered my whole house generator from Canter Power Systems and TIDAL electric services came to do my pre-set and permanent placement of the generator. Mr. Saquan and his partner completed the placement and answered all my questions about my new generator!! they were very professional, courteous, and eager to answer any questions I asked with a caring detail of ensuring I understood the right answers and gave insight and knowledge to help the process be as pleasant as possible. Mr. Saquan and his partner quickly and professionally conducted the preset and delivery of my generator!!     I used Tidal today for the first time and I am very impressed. My electrician is Zac Morgan and I plan on requesting him in the future. He was punctual and super nice. He explained everything to me and why it wasnt working and gave me great advice on the additional work I need. Its so nice to be treated with respect and to have someone who takes the time to explain the issue and most importantly to fix everything!

    Zach did a fantastic job. He was efficient and smart and found the outage problem that affected three outlets. I couldn’t ask for better service. He did a great job representing Tidal.     Tidal sent Caleb to repair the breaker to our stove line. He replaced the breaker and checked the outlet at the stove as well to make sure we didnt have any problems there too. What impressed me the most was not only his professionalism, but he grabbed my broom and swept the stove area before he pushed it back into place. This was well above and beyond any expectation I had for this repair. We only use Tidal through our Duke wiring insurance and they are always professional and willing to answer any questions we have.

    I worked with Tidal electric for my full house generator installation. The team showed up on time, was super courteous and professional. Additionally I was traveling the day of the power outage (required to set up the electrical connections for the generator) and the team assured me that they would not leave the house (with my wife and dogs) without power. They stayed and chased the power company to make sure everything was completed, were responsive to all my calls and kept me in the loop throughout. I would highly recommend them!

    We are renovating our house and had 22 recess lights and three ceiling fans installed and two ceiling fans replaced in just two days. The quote we received was thousands of dollars cheaper than all the other ones we received, and Tidal allowed us to purchase our own fixtures, which none of the other companies would do. Jonathan and Grayson were our electricians, and they could not have been more courteous, friendly, efficient, and thorough. I would 100% recommend Tidal!

    I had severely flickering power. Tidal was quick to send an electrician same day. When he wasnt able to resolve the issue , they sent a second REALLY seasoned veteran electrician to assess the situation, and he was able to resolve my issue. Originally, it looked like we might need to replace both my electrical panels, but the second electrician found the problem and got it corrected in short order. Excellent response. Excellent service. Excellent electricians. Id recommend them any day.

    Called to schedule the installation of 4 ceiling fans. We had a technician at our door the very next morning. Our technician, Neil gave us an honest estimate warning in advance of potential issues based on previous wiring. This allowed us to make an informed decision on next steps.     I live in an 82 year home that has some electrical challenges to say the least. I contacted Tidal Electric to address a loss of power in two rooms. My service professional assigned was Kareem. I can not begin to describe how impressed I was with his level of service. The issue at hand was extremely complex to diagnose and he refused to give up until the problem was identified and fixed. Overall my experience with Kareem was TOP NOTCH. His knowledge combined with exceptional customer service makes me want to use him for all my future electrical needs.

They made repairs for us under the Duke Energy Home Wiring Plan and also performed electrical upgrades in our home They installed an additional circuit breaker in the garage and a new light fixture and switch in the attic. On both visits they were consistently courteous, professional, thorough, neat, on time, and explained everything they were doing in detail. What a pleasure to have them service our electrical needs!     After we discovered 120-volt aluminum branch wiring throughout much of our 1968 house, we hired Tidal Electrical Services to install AlumiConn devices. After Armando and Robert spent a week at our house retrofitting our outlets, receptacles, and junction boxes, we can rest easy knowing our house is safe and insurable for us, and ready for the next owners, whenever that may be. Jonathan, our estimator, thoroughly explained the work beforehand and gave us a complete and accurate estimate. Armando and Robert, our electricians, were prompt, professional, friendly, hard working, and thorough. The company provided us with a letter for our insurance company and arranged for the permit and city inspection. Overall, we had great communication throughout the process, excellent service, and prompt follow-up to make sure we were happy with the project. We highly recommend Tidal for any electrical job.

    Called mid day Thursday evening with a melting circuit breaker issue. Tech dispatched before business day ended who diagnosed and provided a temporary solution. Recommendation from Zach was clearly explained and a fair upfront cost presented.Zach and Don arrived early Friday morning with all parts needed and quickly replaced the entire indoor circuit box in just a few hours. Both electricians presented themselves well and were very polite. Will recommend Tidal for any electrical needs.

    The Tidal Electrical team just installed a concrete pad and standby generator at my home. Scheduling was easy and efficient, and installers Dana and Alex were highly experienced and professional.     I had an outbuilding that had power on it several years ago and the line opened up underground. Instead of trying to find the break, I felt it would be better to run a new power line to the building. Trey and Grayson were the technicians and looked over the job and the requirements. They set to work on the job and definitely knew their business. They were able to find the old breaker and wire that was broken, tie that line off with a new box and run a new 15 amp line underground to the building. They were very efficient and easy to work with and easy to explain what all they were doing. I would definitely recommend Tidal and these 2 technicians. The job was completed quickly and all has been great since.

    Wow! These folks are the best. We have had many contractors do work for us over the years, but Tidal Electric has really impressed us. They were recommended by Duke Energy, so theyve got to be pretty good. My wife called and made an appointment for an estimate to install a new GFIC/GFCI outlet in our front bathroom after a major remodel, and move the 220-volt dryer outlet for us. Donnie the electrician arrived EARLY with a helper to give us an estimate. (This speaks well to me, because I like the fact that they are passing-on their knowledge!) They both observed proper COVID-19 protocols for each visit. Donnie is so nice and personable, not to mention knowledgeable, but able to effectively communicate with us, regular, non-electricians! We showed him what needed to be done and he got right to the estimate, which was reasonable for what needed to be done. They are not the cheapest in town, but a licensed and insured professional won’t be. You only have to read their reviews to know that these folks are the real deal. There was something special about Donnie, so thats who we requested to return and do the work. Again, he arrived early, with Tim (the beast). LOL, and went straight to work. I wasn’t home for the work, but my wife said they made her feel comfortable, like we had known them for years! They divided the work intelligently and pursued it productively! Our crawl space is no picnic, and Tim had to crawl the length of the house in order to do a good portion of the work! They also fixed a problem with another breaker in our main box as soon as they found it and notified us. They were both so nice and their work methods complimented each other well. Their quality of work exceeded my very high standards. Electricians who arent just good, theyre a joy to work with and give great value for our hard-earned dollar. My wife and I have decided that we are not going to use anyone else for electrical work. I cannot recommend anyone higher. Thank you, Donnie and Tim, we appreciate it!     Working with Tidal Electrical Services was a pleasure and stress-free. In particular Charlie Gray, was professional and responsive. I had dealt directly with Duke Energy for days and was given the run around. B the time Charlie got to me I was quite frustrated. He diffused the situation and handled the issue in record time. He diagnosed and alleviated an issue in a little over half a day that I had been working with Duke on for over four days. My lights are no longer fading in and out and the power surges are no more.     Zach and Simeon Came out to fix an electrical issue in the home they had on their mask and shoe covers they both were very friendly courteous and efficient. They fix the issue and work done within a reasonable time they also advise me on the best lights to use to save energy in my home I have been using a 250 watt for my bathroom for 18 years only to find out how much it must’ve been charging me. They where absolute gentlemen and friendly.

    Experienced a major electrical problem with lights flickering and fuses popping. Duke Energy came out, turned off our power and said the issue was with the power distribution panel. I called two companies. Left a message with the first which never called back while Tidal answered the phone. They happened to have a truck nearby and they were at the house within an hour. An hour later the problem was fixed, they called Duke Power to get the power restored and everything was back up and working in 2 1/2 hours. Duke said the repair could be anywhere from $500 to a $1000, it cost less than $150. I would absolutely recommend them for any electrical work. Professional, friendly and fair pricing.

I was so pleased that they could come out and do the my maintenance within 2 days, which was fine with me. The technicians name was Armando and he explained fully what he would be doing . (Checking oil, battery , cleaning, etc.a normal routine maintenance service). He also suggested a little to-do list of things that I could look for until my next maintenance time..     Today I did business with Tidal Electrical for the first time. I was told by another recommended company that I needed a quick release box for my air conditioning unit replaced; wall switches, fan switch, in hot tub room; fire place fan switch and TV outlet in master bed room weren’t working. This was my first time dealing with Tidal and I figured it would cost at least $1,000 to fix these problems. To replace the quick release box would have been $275-375 to replace, and Jerry found nothing wrong with it. As for the other things, moisture in a light switch from a storm tripped the breaker. All problems solved in 30 minutes and I only paid for a service call. Nice to know there are honest techs and companies out there!

    These folks are fast and focused fantastic professionals! My two electricians, Charlie and Casey arrived about an hour and a half early! They calmly listened as I explained the problem and they had two possible diagnoses right away. Finally, after I asked them about a problem I was having with a light fixture, they talked me through the situation, helped me choose the best option, and then they fixed it on site. While trouble shooting a partial power outage, they found a live wire on the ground behind an old building where my children sometimes play. It was a complicated job and they handled it well.
