I had a clogged toilet. Usually after 3-5 days of going up and down the toilet goes back to normal. Well a cleaner decided to “fix” it for me with my plunger and the result was the murky water stayed up. I called Horizon and they sent Recardo “super plumber” he assessed situation got his gloves and used my plunger and within a minute the water went down! I watched what he did and hopefully i was able to learn something. He said”a lot don’t know how to use a plunger”. Well the toilet is “fixed” and i am grateful. It did smell but that went away after i cleaned it. I sprayed air freshener for the heck of it!

Horizon had to come out on a Sunday morning when our sewer line back-flowed into the house. The plumber arrived promptly and did a great job identifying the issue. Because the break in the line was on the citys side of the property, he recommended we contact them, which we did (and Raleigh Water fixed the issue the next day). Im grateful for the quickness of response time and the good advice.

Adan and Tommy were fantastic. I had initially called a different company for my septic high level alarm (worried about a bad pump). The other company said the pump was running and quickly realized that I needed to have my septic effluent line scoped (camera) to see if the pipe was blocked. I had used Horizon Services before and knew they had a pipe camera AND a locator (tells you where the line is and how deep it is). The team (Adan, Tommy and Jaylen) found the issue and quickly restored my septic system (the D-box was blocked with dirt due to a broken inspection pipe). They saved me THOUSANDS of dollars by finding out 1) the pump was working as designed, 2) the effluent pipe was clear (up to the dirt), and 3) my leach field was not the problem.I am grateful for their expertise and problem-solving skills. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

He explained why a repair suggested by another contractor was not necessary, confirmed another fix that needed to be done, and then identified a significant additional problem missed by the previous technician. Called Horizon to repair water leak in crawl space under the house. The appointment was for the following day but they were able to get here the same day about 6 pm or so. He gave an estimate for the work and told him to do the work. He did an excellent job, cleaned up after himself and advised us to check the insulation and flex duct work that got wet due to the leak. This was the first time we used Horizon for plumbing repair and plan to use them again if we need plumbing services.

We have been longtime users of Schwartz, plumbing (now a part of horizon services). This morning we required some urgent plumbing services for our house and contacted Horizon. They scheduled Cal Hardy to come to our house this afternoon.We were extremely impressed with Cal’s professionalism and knowledge. He did a thorough and complete job and made sure that everything was done properly and cleaned up. I would hope that he will come to us anytime in the future that we require Plumbing services because he’s the best!

The entire process with the Horizon for determining the size and type of system we wanted for the first floor of our house was a good experience. They were very patient, technically knowledgeable, and willing to work with us on obtaining a Carrier brand unit despite the fact that they are a Lennox premier dealer. Pricing was fair, and the technicians showed up on time, did excellent work, and cleaned up after themselves nicely. All in all, a good experience and I can recommend them with confidence.

Wow, great service!! We had a toilet that stopped working and a faucet that broke all in the same week. We were able to get scheduled right away. Reccardo (sorry if I misspelled) came on time and was extremely helpful and efficient. I ended up getting 2 toilets replaced instead of 1, as well as the faucet. He was very helpful with the decision making and it all went smoothly. The new toilets look great. The new faucet fits perfectly with the existing sink in the master bathroom. I am so happy that I called Horizon. I will not hesitate to get more work done.

Called Horizon very early this morning. My hot water heater had gone out during the night. My time frame was between 8:00-12:00. I received a text that Recardo Jackson was on his way. He arrived a little after 9:00. He asked questions and we decided my water heater needed to be replaced. He gave me a price we agreed on and then he went to get everything he needed and finished installing my new heater about 2:30. Recardo was friendly and very knowledgeable. I will definitely call Horizon again and recommend them highly. As you can see, he didn’t have a lot of room to work with.

There was some delay getting a part last minute that I think could have been communicated better, but overall I really appreciate their courteous staff helping me on a weekend!

Earlier this week , my television went out as well as other appliances in bedroom. This room and another room where things were plugged were not working. After calling another electrician who wouldnt be able to come anytime soon, I called Horizon. They came a day later and found the outlet had a short. Craig said he would find and see where the problem was and replaced the outlet and wiring. He ,also, replaced another outlet that plugs would not fit. He provided great service and was very kind . And applied generous price discounts for the service. We will use Horizon in the future for the good service and great techs.

Riad Al Shobaki was our Horizon service tech for our AC repair. He called us prior to his arrival and stated at what time he would arrive at our home. He introduced himself to us in a friendly polite manner. He checked the AC system and quickly found the issue. He told us upfront what the charge would be and he had all the necessary equipment in his truck. He performed the needed repairs and was in and out very quickly. I highly recommend HorizonServices!UPDATE: We had a new heating and cooling system installed.When the men arrived to install a new heating and cooling system for us they were very polite and neatly dressed. As they went about their work they were very careful when taking out the old equipment and bringing in the new. Very respectful of our floors and walls. The work was done in a timely manner. When they were finished they explained in complete detail how the new system would work and made sure we totally understood. They took care of doing the necessary paperwork for the rebates we were entitled to. We definitely recommend Horizon Services of Raleigh, NC

We called Horizon Services when we found water leakage stains and dampness in our kitchen ceiling. They were very professional and responsive. The service man, Tommy Horabik, promptly arrived and carefully and thoroughly evaluated the problem. When it was evident that the solution would require a restoration service to first remove an obstacle before it could be fixed, Tommy returned quickly afterwards to complete the plumbing repair. Tommy was knowledgable and fair in explaining our options. He completed the work quickly and effectively with great respect for our property. Communication with the company and Tommy was timely and excellent. Tommy arrived on time. The fees for the repairs were reasonable. We were happy with the results and would not hesitate to call them again.

Our service technician, Ricardo, was excellent. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and competent. He quickly assessed the issue and informed me what he needed to do to fix it. He also identified another issue - that our front hose had extremely high water pressure of 120psi because it was fed directly off the main water line going to the house and BEFORE the pressure reduction valve, instead of after. He fixed both our leak and the rerouting of the feed to the hose.

They’d been merged, or acquired, but the customer service was gone as they never even called me back. I went to Angi to find a new plumber. Horizon popped up as a newer team (previously Schwarz Plumbing). They were prompt, and courteous. I received a free estimate where other companies were charging to come out. Everything was fixed in a day and all seems to be going well. Brian, my tech/plumber, seemed to be very straightforward. I appreciated that. Well done!

Our AC went out and it was miserable in the house. I reached out to Horizon at around 8pm. They arrived at around 9am the next day which was incredibly fast and responsive. The service tech, JJ, was very polite, personable, and knowledgeable. After discovering that we had a clog and a huge amount of drainage, he got to work. The system was repaired within about 30 min. Afterwards, he checked the other elements of our system and he was done. The cost was $615 — very reasonable considering the responsiveness, the turnaround time, and the diagnosis. This price also includes a 2-year warranty on the work. I’ll definitely go with them in the future. (The pictures show the clog and the substantial amounts of water that has accumulated.)

Today just added extra shine to those 5 stars! Riad is a genuinely nice and helpful person. Months ago when I thought I was due for a service, he checked my records and said that I didn’t need any maintenance at that point. Today, he checked everything as we prepare to change seasons, and he told me everything he’d done and observed. (I always ask questions because I’m interested!) Riad is another excellent service rep for Horizon. Here’s my initial review from earlier this year…Mike G. arrived at the beginning of the 3 hour service window, and Horizon made it so that I could see exactly when he would arrive. He was both friendly and professional, and he took the time to answer my questions and explain to me what he was doing (I’m an energy nerd). He explained how I could best maintain my heat pump system, which Horizon installed in the summer of 2022. Mike and I are near the same age, so he laughed when I told him that 2 of the technicians who installed it were younger than the 1998 heat pump that they had replaced! Mike is the best of the best, and Horizon has been excellent!

He explained near record heat is the main issue (it was close to 100 outside) and AC works by providing a temperature drop, and that drop from a higher starting point is to a higher coolest temperature it can attain. This makes sense. AC continues to work well.

They moved things around, so the technician could come sooner, which is great because we had a pipe burst in our house. Joey came out and was very efficient. He cut the holes in a ceiling where we thought it was leaking, but went with his gut and checked a different spot and that was the source of the leak. To be fair, our ceiling is getting replaced so it didn’t really matter where he cut! Anyways, he replaced the pipe and a few of the lines around it within 30 mins. This made us trust Horizon & made us feel good about spending so much $$ w/ them.We accepted Horizon’s offer on Friday & by Monday they were installing our units. The project took 2 crews. They were quick, friendly, professional, did a great job cleaning up, & completed the whole thing in 1 day just as they promised. Like many, the recent heat wave exposed to me that my AC unit was not working well. First noticed it on a Saturday after coming home from vacation. The following Sunday morning, I tried calling several places and got weekend answering services, with few callbacks. But Horizon’s online booking was easy and it quickly let me know I had an appointment for that same day. Anthony, our service pro, was friendly, communicative and professional. He did a great job and got the unit back up and cooling down quickly. We were grateful for a relatively quick/easy fix, but I would have trusted them to do more involved work as well! I will use them for future HVAC repairs!Edit: Turns out we did need them for more involved work! The unit did not hold a charge, so I enlisted them to install a new one. They turned the job around quickly, doing the install on a Saturday, having worked with me on sizing, pricing and financing. The team (Bobby, Chip and Gavin) were friendly, professional, fast and they explained the new system/thermostat very clearly. And my upstairs is now cool once again!

Mark, Chip, and Arturo did a fantastic job installing a new system in my home!Mark especially exhibited a great deal of professionalism. He explained how to operate my thermostat in detail and walked me through all of the work they completed. He answered every question I had for him with patience. Horizon’s team of Kyle and Miguel impressed me with their skills, professional knowledge and custom solutions to put my derailed HVAC back on track.Kyle and Miguel took time to witness what the HVAC was doing inside the house before heading outside. Their assessment was detailed and thorough. Three service options were discussed, along with reasonable pricing. The information they provided was useful, and they took photos of my system before and after the service – so I could see exactly what was done (and they emailed the photos to me). I felt they truly wanted to improve my HVAC situation. Work was completed same day. I also appreciated the shoe covers worn to protect my home. And kudos for excellent communication before, during and after the service trip.I am very satisfied with the quality of work Kyle and Miguel completed on my HVAC. Highly recommend!

Very prompt service. The plumber was great - work was done correctly, courteously and with attention to detail. Price was a little high, but I will call them again for my future plumbing needs. The team that schedules the appointments needs to be better about contacting the customer.

Weve used Schmidt in the past so they were our first call this time. Justin came out as team lead and tackled a long list of repairs in a timely manner even though we had some surprises for them when they arrived. He would not cut corners, but was still able to keep the project affordable. They were thoroughly professional, and would always stop and take time to catch me up when I stuck my head with questions. We will be using Schmidt/Horizon again (and asking for Justin by name)!

Was very impressed with our experience with Horizon! We first called about our air conditioner. Mike came out early the next morning and was both friendly and efficient in fixing the problem. He noticed there was a problem with our electrical breaker and, thru the same company, was able to have an electrician - Mike - out to the house within a few hours. Mike was super friendly, professional and knowledgeable and was able to quickly fix the issue. Mike then mentioned Horizon also had plumbing services - and we had an active plumbing problem. Mike was able to call the dispatcher for us and they sent out a plumber - Joey - within a few hours. Joey was knowledgeable and able to easily identify and fix our plumbing problem within an hour!We will definitely use this company again!

I can’t put into words how great Adan has been during my issues with the plumbing of my house. 3 toilets upstairs all at same time decided to not flush and started to back up and was going to over flow. He fixed the problem which is great but it was his politeness and how he helped me and taught me what was going on and why things where happening. He didn’t make me feel dumb for asking question and stayed maybe longer than he had to too make sure I understood and got what I needed. He was extremely nice and generous with his time. I will call and ask for Adam every single time I have an issue with my plumbing. Amazing person best customer service I’ve had.

Horizon responded quickly to take care of a clogged line to the septic tank. Thomas was totally professional and knowledgeable and assessed the potential scope of the problem before calling in assistance. The team jetted out the pipes, fixed an older repair by some other outfit, and cleaned up nicely. They were all courteous, friendly, and professional. I am pleased with the work. I only rate this a 4 star because of the price of the work. But I have nothing to compare that price to, so it may have been fair.
