She was very pleasant, took all of our information and then asked if we had another shower or bath tub! I was impressed with her concern for us in assessing the urgency of the repair. Since it wasn’t an emergency, she scheduled our appointment within three days. And we were equally as impressed and pleased with the repair that was completed by Jake! He arrived on time and even had covers for his shoes! Jake did the repair efficiently and was very kind and genuine. He definitely is a “diamond in the rough” for your company. After our experience with these two employees, it is apparent why your company is rated so highly! We will beusing Shelton Plumbing for all of our repairs.

This is my second time I had an emergency plumbing issue at my home. Their technicians are always kind and caring and very professional. Jake stayed over the allotted time to take care of a valve issue that broke because of old pipes. He did not charge for the extra hours it took to get the water authority out to work with him to get my water turned back on. They are exceptional at what they do.If you want exceptional quality work I would recommend them highly.

Jake came out and quoted us at half the amount another plumber wanted to replace our bathtub drain assembly. A few days later he came back to do the work. Jake and Joe completed the work in a few hours. They were both very personable and professional. The plumber was pleasant, informative and very talkative. He relit the pilot light, ballparked a quote for two small jobs and discussed water heater replacement. All was good until he gave me the bill. It was significantly more than I was led to believe which it took a single phone call to resolve. Shelton management is as honorable management team as any that I have ever dealt with and I have seen a lot. I will use them again when I need a plumber.

I am late coming with review of the actual work Caleb and Mike did. I needed to have my basement floor broken up to replace my sewage drain pipes. This meant three different trenches; one to reroute laundry drains across the basement, one to reroute floor drain that was draining into a collapsed pipe, and the last to replace the last 12 feet of terra cotta that was under the basement floor.Caleb and Mikey are great. Shelton is lucky to have an employee like Caleb that is knowledgeable and can present so professionally to do the sales call, and also show up as the lead of the team to do the job. These guys are hard workers and very polite. Im not one to stand and watch people do their jobs, but when I did venture into the basement they would immediately start explaining their process. They also asked me to come and inspect some of the work before they started filling the trenches back in. I had several warnings from others who have had their basement floor busted up about how my whole house will be a mess from this work. Lucky for me that was not the case. The basement was sealed off with plastic and the guys did a great job cleaning up as they did the job, and they wet swept the floor several times when the work was completed. There is no way to do this job without creating some mess, but all was better than what I expected. The finishing work was also done well. Again, there is no hiding the fact that the basement floor was broken up, but the cement finishing was pretty good, and Caleb had to redo some cement work into an outdoor trough from the downspout and the finished work was excellent.These guys were actually nice to have around. I felt sad that I wouldnt see their smiling faces any more when the work was complete. They are really easy to get along with. I got points for ground level access to the basement (imagine getting all that gravel down a staircase) and for remembering not to flush when they had the plumbing disconnected for an hour or so. ;-)Thanks Caleb and Mikey!Today the journey begins. I have some major drain issues from various sources. Today was the camera day to figure out a plan. Caleb was lead of the team of two (Mike?) and was very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining possible solutions. I dont have my estimate for the job yet, but I feel very good about this company, especially Caleb. He was professional, knowledgeable and communicated in a direct and informative manner.

My bathroom sink was very, very slow. A friend of mine checked it out and found the pipes underneath werent put in correctly and I had a huge blockage. Ive been using Shelton for about 8 or more years. Michael came out, was here a little over an hour. He not only replaced the pipes under the sink, but also replaced the copper pipe in the basement with PVC. I HIGHLY recommend Shelton & Michael for your plumbing problems. Christine Schubert

John Shelton and his staff have been incredibly helpful when I had my basement flood with a foot of water recently. They removed the water as quickly as possible, replaced the sump and cleaned up to the best of their abilities. They returned the next day and replaced my hot water heater so that I wouldn’t be without for any length of time. This is not the first time I’ve needed Shelton Plumbing and they have always been prompt, courteous, very reasonably priced. I would recommend them for any of your plumbing needs whether an emergency or scheduled repairs.

I have a manufactured home so the plumbing is a bit different. The toilet flange to the waste pipe broke and I could not get it out. Jake and Ryan showed up, put on their booties and got to work. They were able to cut the pipe and replace all broken parts quite efficiently. Very polite and explained everything they were doing. I will use them again.

I recently had a clogged floor drain in my basement that was fed by the kitchen sink. I had a big name brand come in and they were unable to address the issue and the prices they quoted me for resolving the drainage issue and installing a pressure relief valve on my main line were individually almost exceeding the total I paid with Shelton plumbing for both jobs to be completed.Not only did Caleb make this process as easy as possible, he was very knowledgeable and talked me through everything he was doing and didnt mind me hanging around and asking a lot of questions about the process. This company knows their stuff. He had a new system set up and brought me up to code in under two hours.Their customer service was fantastic. I received a call ahead of time from their dispatcher letting me know the technician would arrive promptly and even got a follow up call letting me know they were stuck in traffic. Caleb cleaned up the entire area where the job was performed and even sanitized everything.If youre looking for a professional, skilled, and reliable plumbing company who can succeed where others fall short, call Shelton Plumbing. I can guarantee I will be a return customer. Thank you so much for resolving my issues and eliminating my worries.Update:I again needed the services of this company and called them in on 2/20/24 to inspect an issue with my water heater and Jake came in and gave me a nice education on what to look out for with water heaters and didnt try to up-sell me any unnecessary services. After a thorough inspection and very pleasant interaction, Jake was on his way and I had peace of mind that my system was good for another few years. While he was here we even did a rough quote on a replacement system. These guys are the real deal.

Fantastic experience with Shelton. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing needs. We needed a plumber to install toilet plumbing and a new sink in our basement. No toilet was in our basement before so new plumbing needed installed. We are working to create a powder room area close to our backyard pool area. This required jacking up our basement slab floor, installing toilet plumbing and the toilet, installing a new sink, moving the washer/dryer, and modifying or creating new hookups throughout. Jonah and Bob were excellent. They were professional, pleasant to work with, knowledgeable, and the work quality is top notch. The job site was kept very clean with all waste, tools and materials cleaned up after the job. We had to make design decisions around placement with our future plans for the area. They were very helpful along the way. We are very happy with the new installations and setup. Sheltons pricing was very competitive vs. other bids we received. Thank you for making our PGH Pool Potty area a reality guys! Yinz are the best!

I called another plumber first against my best judgment and the price was ridiculous. When Jake from Shelton came out, he quoted me $1500 CHEAPER than the previous company. I had so much relief at that point. He also spoke with my insurance adjuster and provided her with any info needed as well. When Jake and the other guy (Im sorry I forgot your name) showed up to do the work, they were on time, clean, and my kitchen drain stack pipe was replaced in no time. Honestly, I couldnt have asked for a better day. 100000/10.

I cannot recommend this business enough! They are amazing and professional. This is the second time in less than a month we have had to call them because of different issues when our home warranty tried to send some other plumber who wanted to overcharge us and told us that it wasnt covered. I called Shelton plumbing around 10 am this morning and Scott was able to get some one at my house and get it fixed by 2:30pm. They were quick and efficient and proffesional. The other company wanted to charge us 1400 dollars and do a bunch of unneccasary work. Shelton came in and fixed it and was done within a half hour and it cost me just under 200 dollars. Now we can use our sink and fill up the pool! Thank you Shelton plumbing! You are lifesavers.

It was a Friday and they were willing to come out that day but I was leaving and scheduled them for Monday Morning between 8:30 and 9:30. The doorbell rang at 8:31 AM and I met Jake and Chris at the door. Very professional with boot covers and clean drop cloths. Both guys were a pleasure to work with. I have a difficult closet installation where the hot water tank has to be lifted over the gas line running up through the floor. They were careful and did a clean and professional installation. Everything was done in less than an hour. Im a former Remodeler - retired and these guys were excellent. Price was good too!

Needed a dye test to sell my house. My lateral main had some broken pieces of pipe and rocks that somehow got left in there when the pipe was installed. The first plumber saw that and insisted the pipe was broken. Caleb and his workmate quickly could tell it was just some pieces of pipe and rocks, and used the hydrojet to flush it out, saving me thousands of dollars, plus they were $350 less than a competitor!! They were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous!

We met John and Denny after purchasing a home with multiple issues that went undisclosed at time of sale. Our upstairs bathroom plumbing leaked water all through the kitchen below. John identified several problems and provided us with a solid recommendation on how to move forward. We ended up ripping out the whole kitchen and replacing the corroded plumbing. John was wonderful - he saved the porcelain tile around the bathtub and searched for handles that would maintain the vintage look of the bathtub. He also saved the flooring around the toilet in our vintage black and white bathroom when another issue with the plumbing below thet toilet came up. John was very conscientious when it came to finding a way to get the replacement plumbing work to remain flush with the walls so that it wouldnt interfere with the kitchen aesthetics. Everything came out beautiful!I also decided to update a powder room on the first floor. I hated the bathroom when we bought the house - I kept the door shut all the time. John helped me pick out a sink and suggested a waterfall faucet. The update has made that small bathroom one of my favorite rooms- it turned out so nice and Ill always remember having a great experience with John helping me pick items for it.John and his team were patient and understanding working around the electricians, painters, and contractors we had visiting. They might charge more than other services, but the money you invest is well worth their customer service, expertise, kindness, and the quality of the finished product. I rest easy each day knowing that I will not have to worry about any future plumbing issues because of how well they completed the jobs at my home .That is worth every dollar - I highly recommend to anyone looking for a plumbing service!

John has done some work on my place over the last several years. All of my experiences with him have been excellent. He has personally come out to take a look at the situation and discuss options. When work was done, he was on time with his group of guys and got the job done. They replaced the main sewer line coming out of my house and I havent had a problem since. I was reasonably satisfied with his pricing.I find his prices a little high, but at least hes straight-forward with them and doesnt misrepresent himself. And, of course, Im probably going to find any service companys prices high, around here.

A simple kindness goes a long way. I spoke with Sara today about a drain in my basement that wasnt draining. I wasnt a sewage backup. It was more of a drainage from my central air that was pooling around the drain. After speaking with Sara and awaiting a return call for an available tech to come out and take a look, John called. He said he overheard my conversation and told me it wasnt about not coming out for the job but it sounded like something simple I could fix myself and save me some money. I did as he suggest and it worked! Sara and John were kind, thoughtful and selfless. Shelton Plumbing is the best plumbing company, hands down. We have used Shelton a few times now and we could not be happier with our experiences. Most recently, Jon and Bob came to our home to look at our fridge water line issue. After looking at everything for only a few minutes, Jon and Bob determined that we had a water pressure issue. After completing the job, our issue has now been resolved. The knowledge and craftsmanship of these 2 guys is top notch. They explained about the issue and what they would do to fix in a way that made us feel very comfortable with the job they were about to do. GREAT service! From the time I called on the 3rd of July for a leaking toilet, it only took about 30 minutes before the techs, Alex and Joe, we’re at my front door. They were incredibly polite and professional, told me what they thought the issue was and how much they estimated cost before they started. Only took them about an hour to complete the job and clean up. I would absolutely recommend them and will use again in the future if I ever need to!

Shelton replaced my sewer line from my house to the sewer main, installed a house trap and clean out as required. They were very thorough in assessing and presenting options. The work was done professionally, at a reasonable cost. They completed the work on time, when they stated, which was crucial as this was needed to complete a REFI on the property. They worked effectively with the sewer authority to obtain all necessary inspections and certification.On a previous engagement they replaced an expansion tank. In both of these projects, I was completely satisfied with their work. I highly recommend them.
