    We have been using A-Comfort Service since we moved into our home in 2001. They are very reliable. Yesterday, Sunday, a pump went bad on our furnace and Dan came out and resolved the problem quickly.

    Prompt, courteous service. Fixed the bad compressor in my AC unit on the first trip at a reasonable price. Jack the service tech did a great job fixing the unit and explaining what the issue was. Have used A-Comfort before and will use them again whenever I have an issue. Highly Recommend.

    Professional. Experienced. Kind.A-Comfort responded quickly to a request for an estimate and almost immediately for a necessary furnace/AC installation.Tim, Evan and Andrew installed a new Trane high-efficiency furnace/AC unit including all venting, copper, connecting duct work and even a new concrete pad for the AC... IN ONE DAY. (No doubt they did much more than Ive mentioned- but these things were blatantly obvious ;-)They were respectful of our home, and my children, and left the areas with which they worked cleaner than when they arrived.Tim took time to program my new thermostat for the multiple convenience/money saving options it provides and directed me to the app store to ensure I could access all functions from my phone.They even went above and beyond to install a stop valve inside my home for the outdoor faucet to ensure the leak ceased until the faucet could be replaced. Simply because they saw the need.Upon leaving, they also handed me their business card which offers 24 hour emergency assistance, including holidays. Im so grateful for a company that stands by their products/customers and ensures service regardless of date/time. This company, start to finish, is truly top notch.No other HVAC service vehicle will ever be parked in front of my home.

After installation, a technician came by to complete a quality check on the install which we appreciated as this showed us how committed A-Comfort is to their customers.Also, we have had our conventional HVAC unit serviced by Hunter at A-Comfort.     We have had a service contract with a ā€“ comfort service for two years now. Our primary contact point, Dale, has been extremely attentive to our service requests. Our service is always done promptly and efficiently. The service technicians that arrive are always friendly and fully describe the nature of the repairs recommended and explain everything when the service is completed as well. Highly recommend using them. Our home has a boiler system and utilizes radiant heat so the plumbing and HVAC system is a bit more complex compared to most homes. This hasnā€™t fazed them at all.

    A Comfort Service has been servicing my furnace/AC for years and I purchased a new one three years ago. I have always received excellent service from them even from a far when I had to call while on vacation to have servicing done when someone was staying at my house.I had a routine service call yesterday and was totally satisfied and pleased with the thoroughness and finding something very minor that couldā€™ve cost me money if it had not been noticed.     I had a great experience working with A-Comfort installing heat in my laundry room. The initial inspection was prompt and helpful as the technician (Rich) was very knowledgeable and answered all questions. The work itself was completed timely and well-done, as we had talked about during the inspection. The Technician also helped with an unrelated problem relating to airflow in a tightly sealed hot water room with an outside the box solution to install a supply register on the furnace. Would use/recommend A-Comfort for any heating/cooling needs!

    A-Comfort always does a great job for us. Our furnace was old and needed expensive repairs, so we replaced it. It only took two days until they ordered the new unit and had it installed. Both professionals were very knowledgable and very good about explaining what they were doing and why. Prices didnt seem unreasonable, however I know very little about these types of fees. I was very happy with the service and plan to use their services again in the future if needed.

    Andy my service guy was on time and very polite. Even wore booties to keep my carpet clean. I felt very comfortable with Andy in my home. He did a very thorough job cleaning and examining of my furnace and fixed my humidifier. Even though my furnace is quite old, he did not try and push for me to buy a new one at this time he just made recommendations, which is much appreciated. Last year I had my furnace serviced by another company who pushed very hard to purchase a new one which was not needed yet. I would highly recommend A-Comfort for service.

    A-Comfort installed our new furnace about twenty years ago, and have checked it every year. We had some wind damage to our furnace vent and chimney liner, basically pulling half the liner out of the furnace. We have a very steep roof, and multiple roof levels. Nicole in the office handled our request immediately, and Evan and Nate came out and worked very hard for about four hours to accomplish the repairs. Everybody we have dealt with at A-Comfort Service has been completely professional and extremely nice. We would recommend them to everyone.

    Had them do a water heater replacement. Gave a quote over the phone and came out to do the work. Told me it would be almost $300 more as I had a return line to master bath. I paid. When done the water took 2-3 minutes to get hot in the master (used to take 30 seconds or less). I called to ask why I had to pay more if it would not work the way it used to. Was told that is just how it was. I had to call back and talk to an owner. The owner was understanding and made it right. Sent the team back out to re-do the return line and now the water gets hot in the same amount of time as before. 4 starts for making it right, but took off a star as was not done right first time, I was told there were no guarantees, and had to escalate.

    My AC stopped cooling and my townhouse was 80 degrees on a hot September day. In a previous home, I had used a competitor but my trust wasnā€™t always there with them. I did a search on Nextdoor Aleppo and found the most positive reviews were recommending A Comfort Service, so I took my chances and gave them a call. I am so glad I did and can see why all the positive reviews! The technician, Andy, was extremely professional, explained everything, fixed my problem and I was very pleased with the cost. I felt very comfortable with him and would recommend Andy and A Comfort Service for any HVAC needs. Very pleased ā€˜coolā€™ customer here!

    I have been a customer of A-Comfort for over 11 years. I had had an awful experience with a previous company. From the original appointment to determine what furnace and A/C unit to install through installation and 11 years of maintenance tune ups; they have been professional and courteous and have provided prompt service. Technician Jack D has handled all my service calls. He is meticulous and thorough when cleaning and checking the heating or cooling system. At my most recent service appointment, Jack detected a problem with the compressor unit for the air conditioner and ordered the part. It was still operating; but was making a loud noise and would have eventually failed. Today, Jack D came out and replaced that part in less than an hour and I never had to do without air conditioning. Its running nice and quiet again. Since I have a maintenance agreement; I got a discount on the repair. Everyone in the office that does the scheduling is polite and courteous and will call to remind you to schedule your maintenance. One less thing to keep track of. I have never been without heat or air since I started using A-Comfort.

    SEE UPDATE BELOW>>>>The technician had serviced this residence prior to our purchase of the home. We selected A-Comfort Service, hoping that their familiarity with the system would ultimately increase our cost/benefit chances. The tech was knowledgeable and seemed to be familiar with our type of system. The cost to fix some issues and put us on a PM plan was somewhat reasonable... just over $2,000. I replaced the filters for the air handlers myself.When the parts they ordered for the repairs arrived, they called to schedule the repairs. They arrived and began the work. That is when the only issue I have with A-Comfort Services happened. I asked the older tech to move the van, as it was blocking my van from leaving. He send the younger tech to move the van and he backed the van into the yard. He then attempted to get out of the grass and only made it worse, burying the van even farther down the slope. They then told me that their boss was coming to help them get it out.I wasnt here for the alleged rescue, but nobody approached my wife (who was home) to apologize for rutting the yard, killing grass, exposing long tracks of mud or to offer to make amends for the damage. If they would have attempted to make it right, I wouldnt have been so disappointed. How does someone become a boss and not have the professional mindset to own the mistake and make it right in your customers eyes?UPDATE:The owner called me, came out to my home and surveyed the damage to the yard. They arranged for his guys to come out, spread topsoil, grass seed and then hay over the damaged area. I upgraded my review to four stars.

    Our hot water heater finally gave out early last Saturday morning. Our first call was to A-Comfort as they provide great service in maintaining our furnace and AC. We were not sure what to expect on a weekend but the service could not have been better or more professional, starting with Jan on the phone and Dave (the plumber) showing up in less that an hour after our call.     This was my initial experience with A-Comfort Service, Inc.. I chose them because they had Trane units. Mark was the salesman that I dealt with and he was excellent. He took the time to explain what needed done, what they would do, and answered all my questions. He told me that his installers would do an excellent job and this is SO important with whole house air conditioners. He told me that the work would be done properly and he would stand by the installation, and to call him if I had any questions or problems. It is reassuring to have this kind of commitment in addition to the warranty.Tom and Nate were the installers and were very efficient and answered every question that I had. The installation, both inside and out, had a neat tight look to it. Additionally, it has been my experience that when installers/workmen leave they usually clean up fairly well but there is always a little more to do. When these guys were done cleaning up there was no further clean up needed.The total proof of the whole experience will be in the performance and longevity of the product, but Trane has an excellent reputation and I am expecting these to be good and have Marks reassurance that if there is a problem, they will make it right. What I can definitively say at this point is that Mark was the best of 3 sales reps that I had to my place before deciding. Also, as mentioned previously, the installers, Tom and Nate were professional and did an outstanding job!

    Weā€™ve been using A Comfort Services for 3 years. Friendly staff, they show up on time and are patient with our questions. The only reason I didnā€™t give them a 5 star rating is because of the surprise $50 fee for changing out our water panel. If I had known ahead of time I would have purchased a two pack online for half of the price and had it ready for the tech.Moving forward it would be helpful to get details like this when you get the call to set up the service call.

    Iā€™ve been a loyal customer of A Comfort for over 17 years. We built our home 1994 and the original HVAC systems only lasted less than 8 years. A friend referred us to A Comfort. First time I had met the owners. They did a comprehensive survey and we purchased two Trane systems. I immediately noticed the difference. I later purchased a whole house generator from them and added a 4 season patio room. They installed a Mitsubishi ductless heat pump which I would urge anyone adding on to consider. We also bought our replacement water heater from AC. We have used their plumbing services as well. We renew our full service agreements annually and with the contracts we are assured of more efficiency and longer life of all the equipment.So from my story you can see how much we trust and rely on A Comfort for all these needs.This is a business built on trust and you can be assured if you are faced with equipment upgrades or replacements or regular services they are the best local provider.

    I had a great experience getting my AC unit repaired. Worth noting; based on a less-than-great experience with a completely different service provider in the past, I did a fair amount of research ahead of this recent appointment. So I was fairly certain I knew what wasnt wrong with my AC this time, and had a reasonable expectation of what may have been wrong. Could have been blind luck on my part, but the diagnosis ended up being what I thought it was. Point being, at no point during this service call did I feel like I was being scammed, pressured or otherwise led astray. The gentleman who came out was courteous, thorough and straight to the point, which I greatly appreciate. I will continue to call A-Comfort for all HVAC service needs going forward.

    I had a premature water heater failure, which was under warranty for parts. A-Comfort responded promptly and same day installed a new tank. I was shocked at the total of more than $1100 for labor. Granted, there wee 2 guys here for 4 hrs., but I did not expect it to be so expensive. They did a very nice job and I am appreciative of their responsiveness.

    We had ductless mini split air and heating units put in our home. The job was done efficiently, and customer service was great. When we had trouble with some of the units thawing on very cold days, Jared was quick to diagnose the problem and fixed the issue. He also went above and beyond by checking on our boiler system that was making some noise, drained air out of the pipes, and was able to determine that we needed a new pump. We would highly recommend A-Comfort Service !

    Hot water tank needed relit. Came immediately and had it lit on first try.Came to do yearly check up for air conditioning and our furnace went out. He immediately found the problem, left to get the part, and returned quickly. Our furnace was fixed and the air conditioning checked all in the same visit. It was great.We had a major water leak in the kitchen. They fixed the leak and then I had Bob come back and replace all the water lines in the house. It took two days but they turned the water back on at night for us. Bob constantly consulted me on where I preferred him to open the walls. They did an exceptional job, very professional, and didnā€™t leave a mess.

    Our AC unit went down on Monday morning. We immediately contacted another HVAC business we had used and liked in the past, but their arrival kept getting postponed in subsequent days, because it was a bad week for them. I called A-Comfort on Thursday at 10:26 a.m. This is going to sound incredible, but in the span of 45 minutes, they had already arrived at our house, assessed the problem, fixed the problem (it needed a new capacitor), processed our payment and left our house! Amazing! The service technician, Hunter, went straight to work and was efficient and knowledgable. He was obviously there to fix a problem and not to make a sale (Years ago, we had contacted a different local large HVAC business and it felt like we were dealing with a used-car dealership). The lady at A-Comfort who first took our call, Nancy, was also helpful and clearly explained in advance that there would be a $99 diagnosis charge and $60 gas fee for travel, but that $99 would go toward our repair bill if we elected to proceed with the repairs. With all that considered, and the repairs made, when we got the final bill, we felt we were given a fair price and outstanding service. We are so thankful. A-Comfort was recommended to us by a friend, and we would recommend them to our friends, too. In fact, when I notified the other HVAC business (the one we liked) that we had gone with A-Comfort, their representative said, Iā€™m glad you got who you got. Theyre a reputable company.

    I have used A Comfort Service for many years and they are always on time, honest, courteous and professional. They do my yearly tune-ups on my Furnace, AC and Heat Pump to make sure that I am ready for the upcoming winter or summer seasons. I highly recommend you do this as well as An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.The came out this morning for my AC tune-up and found a part that was not functioning properly. Replaced it and they cleaned out my heat pump with a foam cleaner. Ready to rock and cool for summer!

    Started out as a furnace and AC yearly tuneup. This tech crew showed up as scheduled and did a great job on the furnace tuneup. They explained, in technical details, everything they were going to do as I watched. They then moved onto the AC. The AC unit has major problems. They again explained in great detail the issues. Rather than me waste money on a 25+ unit, they suggested I consider a new unit. NO PRESSURE SALES AT ALL.Paul came out the next day and explained the AC market to me. Again no pressure salesmanship. Made a detailed recommendation that I considered. Closed the deal the next day and the price was very competitive. He scheduled the installation 2 days later.The AC crew arrived on scheduled and explained everything they were going to do. A few hours later it was done and operating. No sagging lines, tight joints, and level panels. They left the service area (inside and out) in a very clean state.One week later the followup tech had his inspection. He did not have much to do since the AC crew did a great job.Highly recommend A-Comfort.

He explained that the A/C would continue to function until the part failed completely. And when that happened, a service call would be required. And as our current HVAC hardware is approaching 15 years in service, Jack gave us a ā€œheads upā€ regarding the life expectancy of the fan/blower motor ā€¦ as well as the associated issues (that a replacement part is not normally kept in stock - it is expensive, and as a result the wait time for repair could be several days. That concerns me, and leads me to the question: If the fan/blower would fail in the dead of winter, what would have to happen to restore heat ASAP? They didnt bat an eye and said it would be no problem at all. They were there the following day and fixed Moms issue and the price was very reasonable. Anytime Ive had to call them, a LIVE person answers the phone! How rare is that nowadays!?! Everyone there that I have talked with is very polite and understanding.     I had my A/C and furnace replaced by A-Comfort Service. I found the price good and the estimator very nice. I had some quality concerns during the install - for example, they quoted a 2-pipe system and provided a 1-pipe system - but those were mostly addressed by the company after the fact. (They added a second pipe.)Im a little frustrated by the stickering of my hot water tank, which they did not install, but did choose to add a giant sticker to, providing themselves with a free advertisement in my basement for the life of the water tank I just installed.Ultimately, Im appreciative of the working furnace, wish the quality was a touch higher in the first place, and hope theyll reconsider their stickering policy.
