Michaels Lighting & Electric was recommended to us by General Motors for the installation of the EV charger in our garage. The whole process was SEAMLESS from the inquiry to the installation. Everything was done in a step wise process and it was efficient and quick and required very minimal effort on my part. Juan installed our charger and was absolutely excellent. Incredibly kind, got the job done perfectly & made it look great. He even helped me set up my app so that everything was connected. He was a pleasure & I would definitely work with this company again!

Just today, I had my second emporia EV charger installed in my garage. My wife and I own two electric vehicles. Alternating whose night it is to charge became a bit of a problem.So we contacted Michael’s Lighting and Electric. We asked that they install the unit for us. And they did just that.Michael’s sent over an electrician by the name of Juan Ortiz. Boy, was he terrific! Juan took his time and did a great job. He was very pleasant, patient with all of my wife’s questions, neat and very thorough. Juan took his time instructing my wife on how to download and use the emporia app.If by chance, you are need of the services of Michael’s Lighting, ask for Juan Ortiz. You will not be disappointed.

I would most definitely use this company again for any of my electric needs. The team they sent out were phenomenal. Rich Harris and Tiara LeBron not only did an incredibly professional job putting in and setting up my hard wired home security system that had some issues that they were able to find solutions for, but they walked me through what they were doing and showed me how to use it once it was set up. Oh and did I mention they were on time both days and polite and overall nice humans?After spending the last 15 months remodeling our entire house, it does not go unnoticed or unappreciated when we come into contact with professionals such as Rich and Tiara and they represented Michaels Lighting & Electric very well.

I communicated with them via phone and email prior to the installation date, they arrived 10 minutes early on installation date, and communicated with me regarding the post-install inspection. They were absolutely amazing, responsive, courteous, respectful, and professional with every person I corresponded with and met.I was shocked that they even serviced my area as theyre based in Orlando and they came down to Southern Hillsborough county.I would definitely use them again, they provided outstanding communication and professionalism. I was highly satisfied with the profeessionalism and quaity of service working with Michaels from start to finish. Our home needed some old wiring to be re-done and we also wanted to get a house surge protector. It was very easy to use their website to request an estimate. During both the initial inspetion and when the work was performed, the techs were always well prepared, on time, wearing masks, and helped to clearly understand the exact service that we wanted to do. I am so HUGELY impressed with you guys. I am a lender working with a prospective buyer. The appraisal report is demanding a switch out of the Federal Pacific Panel before we can close. To add to my concierge service, I told my borrower I would handle the scheduling. I had called two different electricians before you guys and they wouldnt even talk to me because I wasnt the home owner. We also need this installed on a rush in order to save the borrower a ton in fees with extending the closing date. Jade bent over backwards for us to get on the schedule tomorrow. Following up on my Feb.12th Post. Michael, the owner, made every effort to correct the problem. His immediate response was very much appreciated and the work was completed without any delay. Knowing Michael reviewed and responded to my post shows he is committed to customer satisfaction and providing quality work, earns a 5 star rating. I would recommend Michaels Lighting & Electric, Inc.I called Feb. 12th and booked an appointment with Michaels for Feb. 18th, 9 am to 11 am. Around 8:45 am I received a call that the technician ran into problems with the prior appointment and would need to reschedule for the 18th from 2 pm to 4 pm, with a call when the technician was on his way. At 4:45 pm received a call asking if we were available for the technician. The person calling did apologize for the delay, but no one had called to say he would be late, again. I selected Michaels Lighting based on posted reviews and the statement, We strive to be in constant communication with our customers until the job is done. I also tried to send the company an email but the email system did not work.

In mid March 2018 the Board of Directors at Hampton Lakes Homeowners Association asked for a proposal to cure our Rec Area and Parking Lot lighting issues. The appointment was set by telephone and on the appointment day, as promised, representatives met on site to review the project. Several options were presented and within two days we had cost estimates for several options. The Board approved replacing all of our pole lights with new LED Fixtures. The project was completed within two weeks and we couldnt be happier with their crews., the installation and the new fixtures.
