Doc Watts Electric installed a 24kw stand-alone generator. Our experiences with Jonah and Kathy were excellent. I am an engineer and usually have many questions on technical aspects of a product, installation details and schedule, and operation. Jonah was excellent to answer every question and explain so my wife understood. I liked dealing with a technical person and that was the difference from other suppliers. Installation was very smooth, and every question was completely answered. They were skilled and efficient. Kathy was very helpful in keeping us updated on schedule. Have not had a chance to test an outage event for the generator but listen each week for the 5-minute test run. Very happy with Doc Watt.

Excellent service & job from start to finish! From the initial contact to get the estimate to the installation to the initial start-up & maintenance, Doc Watts has been great. Suggestions were even made during the initial meeting that eliminated a large expense later on down the road. The walked us through our portion of the process (getting gas & the associated plumbing) & the rest was all taken care of by them. They even take care of the quartely maintenance for less time & effort than I could do it.

I needed repairs done ASAP to pass inspection for the closing of my house. At first I was a little scared when they gave their hourly rate for one hour. They told me that the cost depends on the job. I was determine to make sure the Electrician was not going to waste any time to get the job done in less than an hour. I met with Alex ,who arrived on time, was professional, listened to my instructions on the two areas that needed fixing. He went to his truck one time and within half an hours time, he completed his task and still chatted with me for a few more minutes. His work was diligent, clean and I didnt have to spend any extra money. WOW.. I was impressed and I highly recommend Ladies to use Doc Watts. They are not going to try to taken advantage of you and add additional cost like the Mechanics. Thank you !! Doc Watt Staff, Alex, especially Ms. Rivera for sending me the invoice quickly. Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous!! Couldn’t ask for better service! They handled everything including the gas plumber and inspections. Thank goodness for that, because Altamonte was not the easiest to deal with. In fact, I thought, downright ridiculous. Other companies that quoted the system, had me getting the gas plumber & ordering the inspections. What the heck do I know about installing a generator? On top of that, there was very good communication from beginning to end! Couldn’t have had a better company handling the installation. Additionally, they were the least costly, even before you add in all I’ve stated. Highly, highly recommended!!

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! I own a retail business and while I was ringing out a customer, a fire broke out in my circuit panel. We had to use a fire extinguisher to put it out, and unfortunately it fried all of my electric throughout the shop. I couldn’t run my POS system or do any sales, none at all. I called around to 9 different electricians and everyone told me it would be 2 weeks until they could source the new panel and have a tech install it. NOT DOC WATTS THOUGH!! They were able to pull a technician and have him at my shop an hour after my initial call. When no one else could find the new panel to install, Doc Watts did it within a few hours. They went above and beyond with the repair, and my new set up is working perfectly. They were professional and courteous, and explained everything to me as they were doing it. I can’t recommend them enough, shoot them a call and have them come out if you need help. The technician Ronnie was too notch and the owner actually cares about his customers. You won’t find another business like this.

This company is consistently a pleasure to work with! Every single employee is pleasant, efficient and conscientious! Their pricing is fair and the work is always above and beyond what was required. They did all of the wiring when we remodeled a large garage into a Mother-in Law suite at our home, installed 50-amp service on vacant land we own for an RV and have done all of our maintenance on both our home and our 18,000 sq.ft. school building. We no longer get multiple estimates for jobs and will stay with Jonah and his wonderful team at Doc Watts forever.

We hired Doc watts to replace and upgrade our control panel and the purchase and installation of our whole house generator. Alex and Christian were our electricians. Everything they touched was with the utmost care and detail like they were working on their own home. The days ran long for both these wonderful electricians, they never complained, and NEVER took short cuts. For most of the generator installation we had Jackson and Josh. Remarkable people, during the installation I came to Jackson and Josh with a concern about installing the generator conduit on the house and they quickly remediated the issue and dug a new trench so all the conduit would be underground. They never complained and NEVER took short cuts. There was another Doc Watts teammate that came back out with Jackson to finish the install whose name I have lost, but he along with all the others he was remarkable.Lastly, Jonah. A wonderful man with such a good spirit. He truly cares about the quality of work the team provides and goes above and beyond to reassure homeowners with any questions and issues. Teddy and Carlos arrived early to install my Generac generator. They were punctual, professional and explained everything that was going to happen. I was concerned about how long I was going to lose power for the hook up because it was going to be a hot day and I was concerned about my animals overheating. They brought a portable generator in case I needed it for a window ac. I did not. Turned down my air and only lost power for less than 30 minutes! These guys were amazing. I stressed over nothing. I also need to add how clean they were. Not even drywall dust left behind. I highly recommend this company. The girls in the office are also very nice, personable and organized.

I’ve used Doc Watts for the last five years to maintain my Generac generator. They are careful and efficient and the unit never fails to start when I need it most. This last hurricane season they came out and fixed a battery and control board problem just in time for hurricane Milton to hit. These guys are the best! We bought a house and found out after the fact the wiring was dangerous old cloth wire. I knew this was bad. We needed it replaced ASAP.We landed on Doc Watts. Jonah came out to look at it. He was super professional and explained the whole process. Alex and Christian did a great job doing a total rewire. They were so meticulous, made sure everything was level and clean. You could tell they really cared. These guys put up with all my questions and explained exactly what was going on. They moved the panel outside and it ended up freeing up a ton of space. Installed new LED lights in kitchen and bath that were a huge upgrade. All in all from start to finish they took a stressful situation and made it a breeze. Recommend to anyone.

Our next door neighbors Generac generator performed its automatic startup each Saturday morning for over a year. Each time it started we thought of how easy and unpredictable it would be for us to lose our air-conditioning, hot showers, and frozen foods. The decision to buy a Generic was easy, but determining from whom to buy one took more effort. We wanted a vendor highly recommended by the manufacturer who could obtain the necessary permit, install the unit, and provide on-going maintenance and any needed repair work. After determining the Generac retailers for our area and reading all of the company profiles and customer reviews, we selected Doc Watts Electric. We made a very good decision! Doc Watts is a local, family-owned electrical services company with a lot of experience installing Generac generators. Jacob came to our house and quickly determined the proper generator size and installation location. He walked us through the various steps for installing the unit and providing the necessary electrical work. He also coordinated with a propane gas company so we could have storage tanks installed in proper sequence with the electrical work. Carlos and Teddy from Doc Watts were very professional and efficient in installing the unit and arranging for the inspections. Jonah and Jacob performed the final walk-through and initial startup. Felicia and Diane took care of the paperwork and scheduling. It was a pleasure dealing with everyone at Doc Watts! Based on our favorable experience, I am sure that we will use Doc Watts Electric for all other electrical needs we may have in the future.

I have fears of calling repair service technicians because you never know what to expect. I called Doc Watts based on reviews on the online Yellow Pages and found the raves to be well-deserved. It might seem weird to be asked to send a pic by text to the tech before he came out, but I was assured by the service rep that this was to save me time and to make his trip more efficient. Based on what he saw in the picture I sent, the tech picked up parts on the way to my home, in case he needed them, and was able to replace the breaker and test the panel in well under an hour. He also handled my landlords numerous (and repeated) questions without complaint and with the utmost professional demeanor. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing electrical repair or other services in their home or business. I will certainly be keeping their number handy in my new home!

I was up almost all night with my fire alarm going full blast. It was painful. Finally at 5am on MKL holiday I started looking up electricians as we tried everything. I called at 6:30 am and George answered! While I was typing out the specs with a photo of the fire detector, it went off again. He move around a couple of appointments to take care of it forst thing and Danial came at 8:15 and was done by 10 having installed all new ones (10). The previous were 20 years old which evidently is about twice the lifespan of these devices. So it was time to do this and now I think I will be able to sleep! Thanks George and Daniel!

I called Doc Watts at 11:30 in the morning because half the switches in one room had stopped working. Unfortunately, that issue also took out the wifi, which elevated the problem ASAP issue. When I asked if they could come out the same day, the kind receptionist said she would see if any technicians were in our area for the afternoon. Ultimately, they were able to come out in a few hours, and fix the issue. Im very thankful and will be hiring them again.

In a professional capacity, I have worked with them to complete electrical installations that range from simple breaker and receptacle replacements to full buildouts of industrial space and a generator as large as 625KWh. We had an entire electrical remodel in our home done and we couldnt be happier with Doc Watts.They were knowledgable, friendly, and very reasonably priced.The team was on time and showed up each day when they said they would be, and didnt leave the house a wreck, or leave a mess when they left each day. I cant say enough great things about this company!We had 4 other companies come in and and give quotes, and they were all over- priced and would not have completed the job in a timeframe that was reasonable.Now if I could only find a Doc Watts for all of the other home repairs we are looking to do.If you need electrical done, its a mistake if you go with another company!
