I recently contacted thermal services as a second opinion to some repair work that was suggested on our HVAC system, and to disconnect a Malfunctioning home ventilation system. The first Interaction I had was with John, and it was a game changer!! We had two other HVAC companies at our house attempting to fix a thermostat. Neither was successful for any length of time, and one tried to sell us a whole new furnace.Through Dean at Thermal, we got Layne here who spent practically the whole day fixing the problem with a new thermostat and connecting it to my husbands phone for wireless control. Despite the length of time it took, we were not charged more than the original estimate, which was well worth it. Layne was thorough, friendly, nice, and patient. Overall, he did a fabulous job. I would go through Thermal and request for Layne again in the future.

Saturday night our air conditioner stopped running. We did the normal troubleshooting but nothing we checked resolved the issue. Fortunately, we had a service plan with Thermal Services and we were able to get an appointment for Sunday morning at 9 am. A very knowledgeable technician, John S., came and quickly diagnosed the problem, a damaged capacitor, and had our air conditioner up and running in minutes. The charge was very reasonable.

Our air conditioner went out and it was hot outside. I my kids are heat sensitive. With in a few hours the temperature inside the house was almost 90 degrees. It was 8pm on a Friday night. I called them and the tech was able to walk me thorough a few things to maybe help until he could arrive. He came at 11pm and had it working quickly again. I am so thankful. They didn’t even charge me more for coming so late on a Friday night. I will definitely be calling them the next time.

I was having a little trouble with my AC over the weekend, nothing serious, just having a little trouble keeping up. I filled out their contact form thinking it would be a week or so before they could come out. I was contacted first thing Monday morning and Axel showed up by 10AM and did a fantastic service job including hosing all the grass out of the condenser from our lawn service directing the mower discharge toward the AC. Ill have a talk with the lawn service. I would highly recommend Thermal Services.

As always, Thermal Services came through. Before calling, I called the Omaha Fire Department as I was directed to do so when a carbon ,monoxide alarm went off, which could be dangerous. I has to leave a message. I called Thermal Services as we have used them for years. We explained the problem and 25 minutes later Cody came out. He checked the carbon monoxide levels through the house and found none and determined the sensor was not working. We bought a new alarm. Thermal Services has been great to work with over the years.

Called around to get various quotes to replace my a/c unit and the amounts were on the high side. Decided to call Thermal and schedule to get a quote from them beings my father in law used them. They set me up the same day to have Dean come out and take a look at what was needed. He looked at everything and we talked about different things. After a long visit he said well let’s get a proposal set up and see what we can do. What I like is this Man listened to our needs and asked what we wanted and never once pushed us into something we don’t need to spend money on. After seeing the proposal I decided to just replace both furnace and a/c unit at the same time with the mind set they both are about 17 years old. And from the damage the a/c unit has caused if we didn’t replace the furnace it was just a matter of time before I had to. Needed it done asap and was set up for next day replacement. Brian showed up 8/4/2022 at 7:30 am introduced himself. We talked for a few minutes and they got to work. I came home from work and all I can say is I am truly impressed and can’t believe the transformation from what we have seen for the past 20 plus years. Just blown away. What a tremendous job they have done. Thanks again Thermal and your awesome team of workers and glad to be a customer for life.

We just received service from John Suarez, a senior service technician with Thermal Services, and I cant recommend his service enough. John was extremely knowledgeable, to the point where he was able to guess the problem before looking through everything and ended up being correct after working through the issue. His many years of work in HVAC were immediately apparent. As he worked, he talked me through what he was doing and why he was doing it. Never at any point did I feel as if John was doing more than he should be doing, and he was able to accurately diagnose the problem, fix the problem, and clean up after himself. I have a service contract with Thermal Services, and I feel it is a good value. Their techs come out and service our AC and furnace annually. We also get priority service in the event of any issues. Techs are on time and are courteous and knowledgeable. We had a whole house UV air purifier installed this year, which has given me peace of mind during this pandemic. I definitely recommend Thermal Services.UPDATE: We are still happy with Thermal Services. During a routine maintenance visit in December, they found a carbon monoxide leak, so we had a new furnace installed. The new system was in stock and was installed and operational within a few days of finding the leak. We just had our summer maintenance visit, and the tech was friendly and knowledgeable. I really like that they put on booties to work in your house and they leave everything neat. They all have uniforms and are well groomed and professional. It is a pleasure doing business with Thermal Services.

Josh was the plumber who came out to assess water leaking in my basement. He checked the problem quickly and showed me that a drain must’ve clogged, overflowing when my water softener empties water. He actually demonstrated the overflow so I could see water build up in the drain. He cleared the drain and also capped some pipes that needed to be repaired. He was so knowledgeable and worked quickly to fix the issue. He also assured me that it was not major damage. Before he left he also gave me useful preventative maintenance tips about my water softener. He was just a pleasure to work with. So happy I use Thermal for all of my heating, HVAC and plumbing needs. Their service is exceptional.

I had Doug come to the house to determine where our water issue was originating from. He arrived on time (actually early) for our appointment! He was respectful of the virus issue and presented at the door with his mask on...thank you for that, we have a family member with asthma and trying to prevent exposure of outside contact as much as possible.Doug listened to what I explained that i saw dripping from the exhaust pipe. He checked the issue out, when outside to look at the vent cap on the roof and determined that we needed to call a roofer. The issue is not related to the heating system or boiler. He then asked how the system was performing overall. I explained to him that weve had multiple people out to check the new furnace since it feel cold in the house when we have the heater on. He checked the thermostat out and did an adjustment since the reading was off by a few degrees. Their due to return in a few weeks for the AC maintenance, but in the meantime, try the heater again and see if the adjust seems to improve the house temperature. Weve always been very satisfied with the Thermal team and the people theyve sent to the house....Doug was a ROCK STAR!! He went above and beyond what he originally came out for, and was able to give direction with what we need to do next with the leak. Thank you and as always Thermal and their team is outstanding!!!

I have had two recent experiences with Thermal Services; the first to repair our A/C and now, with our furnace. With record low temperatures we are seeing this week (Feb. 2021) now was not the time for our furnace to be acting up. I called and a technician was at my house the same day both times. This summer when our A/C was acting up, the technician was fast, went through an entire diagnostic overview of the system, and walked us through everything and fixed our issue. With the furnace, again, the technician was wonderful, he even spoke on the phone to my husband to answer his questions as he was not home at the time of the service call. Both visits were extremely thorough, quick, and the technicians were great to work with!

A few years ago, I needed a new Furnace and Air Conditioner, the later had stopped and we were in an unusual stretch of 100 degree weather. I had two companies come and give me bids in the best top of the line equipment they could offer, in fact I decided I also wanted a Tankless Water Heater and a Water Softener. As one could imagine the price was high. The most pressing was of course the A/C. Those companies could not do anything for two to three weeks. I decided to try one more. Thermal Services was similar in price and said they could do the whole job the next day. Service after the sale includes they have service men whose regular hours are at night. So 24/7 issues are no problem.Their staff and technicians are excellent.

My elderly mother of 82yrs and ill health found herself with no air conditioning while we were in a severe heat advisory across the majority of the county. It was 9pm and still 113 degrees, so I knew that I would have to try to find someone after hours. I called a few companies that advertised 24/7 emergency services to no avail. One company with a 5 star rating told me that there was absolutely no way he was going to make another service call because he was too hot and tired. Then I called Thermal Services. I received a quick return call from Justin. He was very polite and pleasant to speak with, honest and professional. He arrived at my mothers house on time and was able to quickly identify the problem and fix it for her. We are all so very thankful. Thermal Services is the company to call when you need reliable, professional and courteous service. I called them again and their second technician (no matter I requested an experienced technician) did worst, was rude, disrespectful and left my family and I in the cold without heating. When I talked with their general manager, he told me to go and complaint to whoever I want. Very disappointing. I then talked to my colleagues at work and I contacted Thermal Services. Since my first interaction with the nice lady who answered the phone, the receptionist, I felt welcoming. The technician John Suarez was professional and since the moment he entered in my house, he put on shoes covers to walk inside my home. He was very nice, professional and friendly. He fixed the issue with my furnace and took the time to explain what the problem was. Thermal Services has won our business for life! I strongly recommend Thermal Services as their technicians are highly qualified, very polite, respectful and knowledgeable. Tech Suarez knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it on the spot. He was very professional and did a fantastic job. My furnace is working great and I am an extremely happy customer of Thermal Services from now and on. Keep the great work up Thermal Services. Technician arrived just minutes after I received phone call that he was on his way. Friendly, courteous, efficient. Checked out both A/C and Furnace. Cleaned out Condenser Unit with hose. Cleaned out furnace drain with Clorox. Asked if we minded the smell of the bleach. Okay. He finished up in about half an hour+ and told me everything was in good working order, and reminded me to change my furnace filter more often! We were very pleased with his work. I told him to take the rest of the week off!

Twenty-six year old furnace was having issues maintaining temp. Emailed Thermal early in the AM and got a call shortly after 8:00am to confirm my need of service. John was here by 11:00am to investigate. Allowed me to sit with him and work through his list of diagnostic review tasks. Determined that furnace was unfit for use and posed a danger to the house and our family. Another representative was at the house by 12:30pm to review options, which led to purchase of new HVAC system. It was no pressure sales pitch, helped me make the right decision for our situation and successfully financed the purchase. Install team was here by 2:30pm to begin temp installation, with full job to be completed on their return Monday (which will be following business day). Incredibly candid throughout the process, impossible turnaround times through each step, and professional installation. Would recommend the team to anyone that may need this type of work. Look forward to partnering with Thermal for warranty work and routine maintenance in the years to follow.

We have the Platinum plan and they said theyd be out. I was not thinking that theyd be out yet in the same evening but at about 9:50 the tech called and said hed be arriving in 15 minutes. He was at the house as promised, extremely professional and had me up and running in about 20 minutes. I cannot say enough good about John Suarez and Thermal Services. I have never taken the time to write a review, but it’s my duty to share my experience so it could possibly help others who want to know who to trust in heating and cooling repairs.. When I called on the coldest day on record, I didn’t expect there to be much availability for service. My heater wasn’t working at all (it was 40 degrees in the house and dropping) and Thermal Services was able to send a diagnostic technician, John, that same day. His expertise led him to quickly, efficiently and correctly diagnose the problem and get the heater working-crucial on such a dangerously cold day. He was very professional, explaining and showing me in detail what the issues were. Erik, another service technician, cane to repair the heater problems and his integrity and expertise were also outstanding. . I truly appreciate the intergrity, expertise and professionalism of John and Erik and thermal services in general. The price was extremely fair and far less than I expected for the amount of work that was done. Thermal Servicea is the best in the business!

They were right on time, very knowledgeable, and thoroughly explained everything they were going to do. They then go over a checklist at the end explaining everything that was done. I highly recommend their service plan as it saves you money and they visit twice per year for maintenance checks and unit cleaning. As a customer that knows nothing about HVAC, I appreciate they are to the point about what they find, show me what needs to happen, and just handle the issues without stressing me out over additional services to consider. Even though we had not used them for several years, Patty their associate who took my call assured me we would be given preferential treatment because it was so cold. John Suarez, one of their Residential Service Technicians arrived by mid-morning. He was the consummate professional and got the heat once again in our home to work. He answered all of my questions and was very knowledgeable. We will be meeting with them tomorrow for an estimate to replace our heating which is 32 years old and ac which is 18 years old.
