The team at American Rooter Plumbing is the best of the best. We had a sewer backup days before our baby was born which ended up being a pretty complicated fix on our almost 100 year old home. Bradd explained everything and was the calm and steady problem solving how to resolve our issue. We came up with plans and decided together on options that would work best for our situation. At one point we had every person on their team helping us with our repair and replacement. Every person we met was respectful kind and considerate. It really seems that all of the employees love working for this company. Although our project was complicated and incredibly stressful, full of surprises and changes, the team at ARP was calm, kind and fixed every drain and waste pipe in our home. We are so thankful for all their hardwork, dedication to detail, and bringing our home and yard back to what it was as close as possible! Here are some photos during the process and how it looks now after my husband and I finished the detail work.

This is the second time we have used American Rooter. We are part of the their subscription, which includes a yearly inspection and a discount on services. They came out and did the inspection and serviced the water heater. We also had them repair some items we had on our list to get up to snuff with our plumbing as our house was built 1968 and has few plumbing updates. They are always honest, non-pushy, and efficient! Garret and Brayden did a wonderful job with all of our to-dos. We will continue to use them for future jobs!

Bradd and his team did an excellent job in replacing our sewer line. I definitely appreciated how courteous and informative they were in helping me understand the pipe bursting method they used in order to save my lawn and my tree!While I was reaching out to prospective companies, they were the only company to take the time to tell me what and how they were going to replace my sewer in a trenchless manner which I greatly appreciated. Two weeks before Christmas (that we were hosting) we had major plumbing issues. We had sewer water coming up our bath tub every time we did the laundry. American Rooter Plumbing fixed the problem before Christmas. We couldnt be more pleased with the work they did. They showed us the problem and didnt pressure us into anything. Everyday they were out we got a call when they were on there way and an email with a picture of who was coming out that day. This was a major project so it took some time to get done. They were polite respectful( unlike a different company we had out before). I would highly recommend them to anybody.

My first experience with American Rooter was when the main drain backed up in our new house which by the way was still under warranty so we naturally called the plumbing contractor who did the work to see if they could come out and naturally they wasnt able to because he said there wasnt anyone available except the owner himself and he would have to drive in from Plattsmouth. Jeez I am glad they didnt come! However he did recommend another plumber in Omaha called American Rooter so we immediately called them and shortly after that they ( Bradd and Sara) came out to scope the main drain and in no time solved the backed up drain problem.Ever since then I have used American Rooter to do the plumbing when I remodeled our basement which of course Bradd did and excellent job! Recently I updated our electric water heater to a gas and I wasnt going to use anyone except American Rooter to install it. The job was flawless and our neighbor who I showed it too said it was very professionally done. Bradd is a true craftsman, professional plumber. He takes time to answer any questions you have and is thoroughly experienced in providing solutions to your plumbing problems. I suggest you dont use any other plumbing company except American Rooter. Bradd goes over and above which needs to be done. You wont be sorry you called American Rooter. We have him on speed dial. Called American Rooter because we had a problem with our dishwasher. It was not shutting off the water completely and eventually it was leaking water on the floor. Dylan Kohles and Mike Inman came out the next morning and told me they didnt fix appliances but could install a new shutoff valve for the dishwasher that would stop the water flow. They were able to get it fixed in short time. They were very professional and efficient.

Yesterday, May 2, 2024, Mike and Erickson were at our home to look at our four toilets. I thought the water level in the exposed toilet bowl were lower than normal. After observing, inspecting and correcting Mike explained the problem to me. Additionally, Mike and Erickson inspected the controls at each bathroom, kitchen and outside faucets. There are some corrosions around the pipes and handles that need attending to. I told Mike that ge had renewed my confidence in bc Plumbers and in the trust in having plumbers come in to our home to find problems and help. I did purchase a membership and will be talking to my husband about the three methods of approaching some plumbing issues at our home with SWEET PlumbersI THANk you, “SWEET” Plumbers!!’ I learned of the company from a friend who showed me Mike’s card with his picture. **Ericksonn(hope I’ve spelled his name correctly) is truly blessed to work with Mike as Mike is a Madter teacher/trainer/work mentor! When the two left our home I (76 yrs old) felt like a “LEARNED” user of the plumbing in our home. THANK you “SWEET PLUMBERS”! I will a request Mike and Erickson EVERY time I call!!

Very professional, Garret, Dylon and Bradd did a great job, they were clean, respectful and worked very hard to get the job done. The quote was very reasonable and fair, and they held to it even though the job was more complex than expected. My plumbing problem was a severe issue caused by ABS pibes cracking due to house settling, there is NO OTHER plumber that can do the job is minimally invasive as they did. I would happily have them do any other plumbing jobs.

We had our sewer main back up and found out it needed to be replaced. American Rooter came by promptly and inspected the sewer and were able to provide us a quote for replacement. A few weeks later they had the old sewer out and a new one in its place complete with cleanouts. Id recommend American Rooter as they were clean and professional, provided their own booties which made the post-install cleanup a breeze in house.

Joe and Frank were very professional and friendly! We had some pretty bad blockages about 90 out and more further and they were able to take care of them no problem. Everything was great pricing and I would definitely call them again if needed. Call them if you are having issues, you wont regret it!*EDIT* Ryan and Bryant came out to fix a small leak I had and did a great job repairing it and gave me some options for some other things I could do in the future if I wanted. American Rooter continues to do a great job and I will continue using them!

We had our entire main sewer line replaced, they made a big & scary decision very easy.Joe came to inspect & quote at the beginning of the morning window time. He didnt rush & let me ask all of the questions I could think of. We made a decision to use their services by the next morning so called to set it up (ill spare the detailsof talking with Andrew in the office except to say he was very nice & accommodating as well). They were able to start the next day! Joe met the plumbers doing the work at our house for introductions and then they got right to work. The plumbers working were Mike, Garrett & Keith but there were a lot more people here than that- they had a crew! They took care of EVERYTHING; the city coming to mark underground, street blockades, the construction signs, clean up & city inspection. They kept us updated & luckily everything seemed to go smooth. Mike & Garrett even stayed after to talk with me about another plumbing project we have in mind.Now the cool part, from quote to project completion was 5 days...Monday to Friday.This was a very intimidating & scary project that we had put off for a long time but they made it so easy & pain free. You get what you pay for and in this case, I was happy to pay for the peace of mind American Rooter gave.

I like to get multiple quotes on construction related projects, so in needing our sewer main replaced by pipe bursting, we got 3 quotes for this service. American Rooter had what I felt was best price for everything that needed done. I also liked the family oriented atmosphere they have with their employees. Bradd, Tom, and Garrett came out and were very professional and knowledgeable with this procedure, and kept me informed with everything they were doing with the sewer. Thankfully this was a scheduled replacement and not an emergency, but they were able to get the line replaced in the time estimated and on hot days. We had our main soil stack crack a full 20 feet up from the basement to the second floor and were struggling to find anyone willing to come out and even look at the damage. American Rooter Plumbing had someone out within 2 hours of my call to take a look at our problem and had workers here the very next morning at 8am to get started. Everyone was so kind and made sure we knew exactly what the next steps were and why. Joe, David, and Pat were knowledgeable, helpful, and seemed to truly care that we were without plumbing and wanted to get it all fixed. The guys checked that everything they needed to do met code before putting things in, kept everything very clean, and stayed after completing the job to make sure that there were no leaks. We are so thankful we had such a good team working on our plumbing issue. We will definitely use them again should we need to!

If you read my previous review, you shall see it was harsh.Their employee really did me wrong but that is behind us now.I had a conversation with the owners of American Rooter Brad and Sarah Con. Boy did they ever WOW me. Not only did they apologize, they would refund me the total invoice from the other plumber. That alone was amazing to me. It gets much better Brad and Sarah were on the phone with me at the same time and stated many times they do not operate that way, nor do we train their staff to act that way.Here is the shocker to me, now keep in mind this is a husband and wife team small family operation. They said, We would like to replace your water heater with the same spec water heater and bring it up to code at no charge to you.I was thinking wow and that is exactly what happened. The owner Brad Con showed right on time as scheduled on 1-11-19. Brad replaced my water heater, installed and expansion tank and replaced pressure-reducing valve. He did great work and left my basement cleaner than before he arrived. He hauled everything away all at no charge. Garrett was professional and very courteous. We called American rooter plumbing because we had a leaky toilet around the base. I tried to fix it myself as I am handy and ended up breaking the elbow under the floor and needed it replaced. We called them at about 8:30 this morning and was informed that they have an opening between 11:00 and 2:00. We were called around 10:30 saying he was on his way. He came in listen to the problem told me what he feels like should be done I agreed with him and he came up with several plans as to go with it. Worked with American Rooter to clean out my cast iron pipe via their picote services at the same time I also quoted a full sewer replacement and received the most competitive price from them for both services. They offered to bundle both services with a discount and performed both services in a timely manner. The sewer replacement was the biggest project and they were transparent about their process, materials, and services throughout the whole operation. Ultimately very pleased with their quality and customer service and I now have the peace of mind that I will not have to deal with any more plumbing issues for the duration of my time as the owner of this home!

They were very punctual, which is always a huge plus for me. I also appreciate that they call before showing up. The walk through revealed a second problem that we were not aware of but also was not pressing. The prices are high, but you are definitely paying for the great service as well as parts and labor. They have a financing plan, but I think that it may be hard to qualify for. You probably have to have super great credit and a job (we thought combining my credit with my husbands income would work but it did not). Overall, I was pleased with the service and would definitely recommend them.

Ethan arrived on time, face mask, booties and drop cloths were used and he then evaluated my situation. The problem was quickly found and options were provided and he explained each. Repairs were scheduled for the next day. Bradd and Ethan arrived on time (another email confirmation prior to their arrival) and again face masks, booties and drop cloths were used. I was blown away by the service provided by American Rooter Plumbing. Firstly, I was able to get a plumber out to my home the same day I called, and a plumber was dispatched to my house within a couple of hours of my initial request. The plumber explained all the issues in my home (that needed servicing, repairing, or updating), gave me cost options, (as to what I could afford to do right now, and/or what was most urgent), and completed the work the same day also. We spoked with Gen to discuss what type of work we wanted done. She was very helpful and quick with setting up the consultation visit, after making sure we were ok with the initial consultation charge. After the appointment was set up they were thorough with sending out a text reminder of the day and time of visit and sending a picture of the technician that would be visiting, very nice feature!Jim was our tech and before showing up he called in advance to let me know he was on his way. Upon arrival he informed me he had a technician in training working with him and asked if it was ok with me that the trainee was on the call with him.Not only was Jim and James very polite, friendly and very professional they both did a great job. It was great how they were very thorough with explaining the cost of what was to be done, answering questions and giving estimates of 4 different plumbing questions we had. Absolutely no pressure to do any of it! After they completed what we initially called them for, which they did an excellent job, they did a fantastic job of cleaning up after themselves. They even asked if I was ok with the clean up! Very impressive. I would definitely recommend American Rooter to anyone in need of a plumbing job.

Bradd was up to the challenge and did an outstanding job removing all of the old piping and replacing it with new copper pipes. My kitchen sink drain line that ran under my basement concrete was completely plugged causing my sink to back up. It has probably never been cleaned since the house was built. American Rooter came out and with a lot of hard work on their end was able to unclog the line and showed me the main line as well to ensure it was in good condition. Everything was very professional. The prices seem a little expensive (but then with plumbing emergencies you dont get to shop around much). I have confidence they will live up to their philosophy that they never want to return to your house for the same problem.I wish the pricing would be a little more straightforward. Be prepared to make a quick decision if you want to purchase a service agreement. They price everything in such a way that you basically end up spending more than you wanted out of principle because it ends up being a better deal overall. But in my opinion, they should just have straight pricing.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about my my experience with Brad, Sarah and American Rooter. My issue was somewhat of an emergency and an obvious surprise. Sarah made me feel very comfortable with my decision in calling them. Totally impressed with this company! Dan Kelly the Service Tech came to our house in a snowstorm with a big smile on his face and a handshake introducing who he was. Dan put on his shoe coverings and away he went to work.We/he scoped out the house plumbing and the floor drains then asked if we were on a septic system.Within 10 minutes water was flowing into the septic and are problems were fixed!We WILL be using American Rooter Plumbing again and asking for Dan Kelly....for others that read this you as well ask for Dan and youll agree he is awesome!
