We purchased an older home and it has some issues with plumbing. I contacted Roto Rooter because I had used them before. I am extremely happy with the work they did. Mike & Mitch out of Omaha did the work and they were both polite, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The work was extensive however they both jumped right and got it done. We even have a new water heater.

Then he researched possible alternatives and was thoughtful enough to go get several choices for me to choose from. He did a very professional job of installing my new faucet. However, professionalism encompasses more than actual plumbing expertise. Mike listened carefully and had a genuine desire to provide what I wanted.He went above and beyond to get me the perfect faucet for me. I started with Burton at first. I was lucky that their equipment was not working. The worker claimed my 58 year old house had not enough electricity to run his rooter.....every electrical item in the house works???? He said he will check back in SUNDAY a.m. Should have been ROTO-ROOTER all the while. We used them before. Meeting James was delightful. He showed confidence as to what had to be done to clear the main drain. Very professional and very, very affordable. They plan on coming back with camera and offer some options on the roots and partial collapse of the line. I will have their name under a magnet attached to my refrigerator. They are an impressive company.

It was late in the evening when we needed service.Several calls to other plumbing companies supposedly open 24/7 and no one answered. Roto-Rooter answered the call. I was kept accurately informed of arrival time while we waited for plumber. upon arrival inspection was quick, easy to understand what repairs were needed.Clogged drain cleared in about an hour as estimated. Plumber was courteous likable kind of man.Kept the area clean .No damage to our home.So glad with all around services Thank-you .Were smiling again!

Our techs, sent out to solve a clogged toilet/sewer issue, were Brian and Eric. Brian showed up first and talked us though everything in a very professional and easy to understand manner. He explained everything he was doing. Then Eric showed up to further evaluate any other potential issues while Brian was hard at work. Eric pinpointed the root of the cause and recommended some preventative maintenance to be done in the near future. They treated me and my wife with the utmost respect and kept us at ease. We were extremely pleased with our service and we werent charged a thing due to them standing behind their warranty from a previous visit. We now know a lot more about our plumbing and would definitely recommend them to anyone with emergency plumbing problems. I am so thankful that Brian was the technician that came out to service a plumbing issue in the bathroom of my mom’s home. When he arrived, I immediately felt at ease that what ever the problems were, he would get it taken care of. He was very friendly, polite & considerate. He checked everything & explained how things worked with the main line, pipes & drains, I learned a lot of knowledge for going forward. He made sure everything was working properly before he left & made sure to let us know if we needed anything or had concerns to please call & they could come right out to help. We had Brian come out after our toilet backed up and was coming up our floor drain. By the time he got here, it had resolved itself. He was still very thorough in making sure we checked all the toilets in the house and sinks to make sure there wasn’t something else going on. They were great, had basement floor drain backing up at 1045pm. Called and had a technician here within 90 minutes. He explained everything he was doing, put up drop cloths around the clean out and ran the line. Tested drain when done and worked like it should. Then cleaned up when he was done. I would not hesitate to call again if needed.

We had a bad experience with a different plumbing company last time we needed service. We hadn’t used Roto-Rooter in years but decided to give them a try. our call was answered right away, and we had a tech at our home within an hour. The guys were very friendly, trustworthy and did a great job!

Made a reservation and got a email confirming service window 8 am- 10 am. No show, no call.Called for update at 11 am and was rescheduled to 4pm-6pm window.Got a call at 3:30 pm informing no guarantee to show up at all today. I asked to cancel my appointment if they cannot visit by 6 pm. They said they won’t make any promises but will keep me posted. I will update this review based on what happens next.Update 5:00 PM - Got a call informing they cannot show up today. Rescheduled it for 8 - 9 A.M tomorrow.Update (next day 10/5) : The technician completed the work. Informed object blocking toilet was closer hence got pushed out easily. Could not determine what it was. Swiftly collected payment, charged a hefty price. I did ask if this was weekend rates since it was significantly higher than others. He informed its the base price. No apologies or anything was said about the whole experience.Update 10/06 : I have responded to their request to share the service address so that the company can look into my experience shared here. I will post an update on what happens next.Update 10/10 - Over last couple of days, several folks from customer service and management called me to discuss issue at hand and offering to compensate for the bad experience. The words were very courteous and promising. I am satisfied with how Roto-Rooter handled the situation and have addressed my complaint.

This review is really hard for me because of mixed feelings. The first technician (Henry) was horrible, rude and didn’t seem to knowledgeable. We had a simple clog in our kitchen sink. Instead of checking the easiest solutions first he pulled out a power snake and proceeded to somehow put it through our bathroom pipes saying we have abnormal piping in our house so not his fault. Then after being here for over two hours he said he couldn’t fix it. So then we can’t use the kitchen or bathroom sinks. This is where my review changes because I will say the company as a whole was great. Every call I made was answered by a friendly professional person. The second technician was awesome. He didn’t understand why Henry didn’t fix the bathroom because he had the part in his truck. He also fixed the clog in the kitchen in about ten minutes. So the company did a good job. Although it was very frustrating in the beginning they made sure we were taken care of in the end. I would never want Henry in my house again any other would be welcome.

Additional, he made sure that I was satisfied with the overall situation before he left. If I could give Brian 10 stars, I would.Rafael was very helpful in assisting me in filing a claim. He worked with me every step of the way and walked me through what was going to happen, and what to expect. He didn’t leave until all of my questions were answered, and was very patient with me while I tried to understand the process. He had a very friendly attitude and was very knowledgeable and professional. If I could also give Rafael 10 stars, I would.Despite some initial setbacks in which it took longer to get a technician out, someone was in constant contact with me to keep me updated. Also, the cost was much better than I had expected it to be, being much cheaper than any other place I had contacted. Overall, everyone I have met during this ordeal has gone above and beyond my expectations. I am very grateful to everyone who has helped my family and I will highly recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone.

Bobby came out and did a great job so it’s a five star review for him. However, the actual dispatching and getting the appointment set up was awful. They were supposed to come out at 3 o’clock on Saturday and no one showed up for an hour had to call and then they told me the person was sick. They put me on the list the next day from 8 AM to 9 AM and nobody showed up till 1130. Bobby did an awesome job and was super nice and great to work with but very disappointed in everything else.

I cannot express how thankful I am for the technicians that came out late on Saturday night. Sewage started pouring out of the toilet and the drain in the basement and we couldn’t run any water due to the poop water coming out every time a drain was used. Rotor rooter was at my house with a couple hours. Not only did they fix the problem, they assessed the damage and discovered a lot more damage was done than I expected. They helped me start my insurance claim and worked with my insurance company. I would give them 10 stars if I could!!! They turned an incredibly stressful situation into just a poopy situation (pun intended lol). Thank you so much!!!!

On September 11, I went to my basement and discovered sewage had backed up from my main drain and toilet and spread across the floor, into a closet and all over. I called Roto Rooter and Bob was at my house within an hour. He was able to clear the line quickly, but I had a bigger problem. Don showed up to organize remediation, take pictures, and start an insurance claim. A crew came to clean up the mess and power wash and sanitize. The next day, Eric ran a camera that discovered heavy hard water scaling in the main line. Tobias ran a descaler to get rid of the scaling. Mark came to assess the situation and what remediation measures were needed to prevent the growth of mold and bacteria. A crew came and removed drywall, trim, and everything else that came in contact with the sewage, and power washed and sanitized the area again. Diego brought six huge air cleaners and set them up to dry it all out and clean the air. Don went above and beyond to work with my insurance company to cover the remediation and hiring a company to replace everything that had to be removed. I don’t know what I would have done without him. A huge thank you to the entire team!

They come out just to see what it is thats wrong no charge tell its fixed. If you dont like there estimate, you can always go to someone different. They are on the little more expensive side, but they have a six month guarantee.So if anything goes wrong, you can always call them back and theyll fix it for no additional charge. Also if anything is majorly wrong, they are there with you to help you and work alongside your insurance company to make sure that you were taken care of. For me, I had sewage water coming back up into my house, damaging my walls and floors, theyre walking along the side of me to make sure that everything is taken care of step by step. The people are super sweet talkative and very caring. Honestly, I couldnt ask for a better team coming into my house and taking care of the things that I need done.

I have such an amazing experience with Roto Rooter. It’s never fun to have to have a new sewer line put in. They were quick to come out and help me address the issue and quick to help me find a fix for it. My field supervisor Juan was always quick to respond to any questions and made sure every step was explained and why it had to happen. Was helpful with figuring out exactly why my sewer needed to be replaced quickly. The crew who came out and worked on putting my new sewer line in (Cole, Matt, and Keith) were all friendly and made sure I knew what was happening each step. They also explained what caused the sewer issue as soon as they found it. They got the work done quickly and correctly. I was so impressed with their work. I would recommend them to anyone who is having any plumbing problems! So glad I had this team behind me while getting my sewer fixed!

I was initially unhappy with Roto-Rooter. The tech cleaned out the clogged pipes at the church building, but he made a HUGE mess and didnt have cleaning supplies to clean it up. There was also a problem with the billing as they charged tax for a non-profit organization and neither the tech nor those he called knew how to remove the tax from the bill. After complaining, I was contacted by two people at Roto-Rooter. The bill was corrected and a discounted applied to compensate the time I spent cleaning. They also asked for photos so they could improve their service and we discussed the need to make sure their trucks were properly stocked because accidents do happen. I should mention that the tech was polite despite clearly having a bad day. I no longer have issues with the company and it sounds like they are working hard to improve.

Omaha crew completed inside and outside pipe replacement during months of March and April 2024. We would like to acknowledge Geigo, Toby, Colten, Mike, James (project manager) and James for their efforts and quality work. We would especially like to recognize Bill Riley for his outstanding customer service, work ethic and taking the time to explain in detail the work he was providing. Through no fault of Roto Rooter, there was a 10 day delay before work started. It was disappointing and at times challenging working with Mark, team leader. We assumed that we would get frequent updates on work progress and yet it seemed that if we didnt initiate communication and advise him of what had been done either by talking to the crew or being hands on, we would not have been provided the information, something we expected to happen by supervisor. We were informed work had been completed and no one would be returning which we knew was not correct. We had been advised by the crew that same day the plumber would return the next day and finish his work, which if not completed, could have resulted in water damage. The plumber did call, returned the next day and finished the work. The exchange we did receive from Mark is that one of his crew members was confused and that he had been told differently by his team about the remaining work that needed to be done, which was inaccurate. He was very timely in sending us the invoices, which required a great deal of exchange (mostly initiate by us), but changes were made and we did reach final agreement. He did provide cost breakdown required by insurance company in a timely manner, which we appreciated.

We had been wrestling with a sewer backup problem for a few months now. The techs that have been to our home have been great; knowledgeable, attentive to our needs, and above all, friendly. After a few visits to fix the same problem (covered under warranty of course), they sent out the big guns... An inspection crew discovered the cause of our problem and repairs were made the same day! I know you can get a smaller company to do some of the same work for a little less money, but, as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. We were thrilled at the quick response time (even on a Sunday evening), the available resources, and state-of-the-art equipment. Pair all of that with friendly people, and really, its a no-brainer.

My husband said They clearly sent their A-TeamHolland and Justin came by on Sunday after we noticed a backup in the basement. They were extremely professional and courteous. Holland came upstairs after fighting with the snake for a considerable amount of time, drenched in sweat, to let us know the snake was stuck in tree roots that had infiltrated the service line. He clearly did everything he could to resolve our issue.He quickly called in Cody, who was able to run a cam and locate the problem. We had a big problem on our hands as we had no flow and these guys were so empathetic to our situation as we are new(ish) homeowners and had no idea what the process would be like. Cody got us set up with financing for the project and answered all of our questions. He was extremely kind and personable which was so appreciated since both my husband and I were distraught by the situation. The next day they were able to get a team out to open the line and get our plumbing working again. Tuesday, the team was back out promptly in the morning to get the pipes replaced. I didnt get the names of these 3 guys but they were AMAZING. They took the time and care to move my garden decorations and even removed a bush in such a way that I believe Ill be able to replant it! They made sure to ask if we had any questions or concerns and were extremely patient with us.Cody completed the paperwork we needed for the insurance company in LESS THAN AN HOUR. Our kitchen sink was beginning to slow down and then stopped draining. I am pretty handy and decided to take a crack at clearing the drain myself. After three hours and lots of buckets of vile water and muck later, I had managed to clean about 15 feet of pipe with no relief. We called Roto Rooter up and they were able to have someone out about two hours later. Bob and Sam were very professional, were quick to start and had their auger going and down the pipe about 50 ft before we knew it. They happily answered all my questions and even inspected my drainage with me so I knew where everything was. They were done quickly and cleaned up and packed up without any extra fuss.The one complaint (other than the price, but what are you going to do about that with the economy how it’s been) is that the reply system for confirming your appointment is set to 3 minutes and if you don’t answer immediately then you have to wait for the next session. If you aren’t on top of it, it’s easy to miss your window.
