Our hot water pressure in our sink was low and they gave him instructions for some trouble shooting tips and said if it didn’t work to call back tomorrow for an appointment. I own a home in Omaha that was built in 1940. Much of the plumbing is older too. Ive had a few issues come up in the last couple of months and I am so glad I decided to call In-Law this time! They ease the worry and hassle Ive experienced with other companies in the past. They are not only competent and knowledgeable, they are prompt, friendly, HONEST and affordable! They are upfront and dont try to up-sell. Ill call In-Law every time from now on!

In Law Plumbing came out to address a clogged kitchen sink and another time for water coming into the basement from an outside spigot. They were prompt, professional, resolved the issues quickly and adjusted down the price from the original bid to accurately reflect the work done. I just cant say enough good things about this company. They returned my call on a weekend too. Yeah, they will be our go to plummers moving forward. They were so helpful and easy to work with! I called with a question about a water heater, they were very honest and straightforward with what the issues could be and pricing and also if it would involve an electrician for services. They asked for photos to help better with diagnostics, and even responded after business hours with their recommendations and to get something set up the next day. Prices were reasonable/expected and we were invoiced what we were quoted. Highly recommend!

Happy to say I found my go to plumbing company! I explained my problem over the phone and was quoted a very reasonable price. They had someone out the next afternoon. I was not able to make it home as soon as I thought as I was in a work meeting but they were kind and worked around my schedule. Derrick was very nice and explained to me what the problem was and how we can prevent it going forward. Unlike other companies weve used in the past, there were no surprises to the final bill. I was more than satisfied with their service.

This is the second time I have called In-Law Plumbing for my plumbing needs and I have been pleased each time. This time it was for a clogged drain, which ended up being a frozen pipe. Chris was the plumbing expert that came to my house and he did his job very efficiently and successfully. I highly recommend this company and Chris.I couldnt figure out how to post again.Derek came out today to unclog a drain. He was so great. I like watching what they are doing...maybe Ill learn something....he explained what he was doing and was very nice about it. He fixed the drain and was very quick. I highly recommend In-Law Plumbing to anyone looking for quality work, clear communication, and very reasonable prices.I recently used In-Law Plumbing for the first time, and I will definitely use them again. They were recommended to me by several people in my neighborhood, so I called and left a voicemail about my plumbing problem. I received a call-back within just a couple minutes, and the caller was very polite and helpful, and they were able to get me an appointment by the next afternoon.The next afternoon, their plumber Randy arrived at my house on-time, and he quickly assessed the problem and clearly explained the solution. He completed the work in a timely manner, charged me a very reasonable price, and left the house as clean as it was when he arrived. He tested his work several times to make sure he had completely alleviated the problem, and when he was satisfied that the problem was resolved, he asked if there was anything else he could do for me. At my request, he then examined a second plumbing issue I am experiencing. Again, he quickly assessed the problem and clearly described the solution. He then had the main office write up a bid for the new work and send it to me in writing via email.

Great family owned company! Needed sink, faucet, disposal and dishwasher installed in our new kitchen. Scott the owner was fantastic!Service was fast, professional and well done! The plumber, Rich was friendly, courteous and explained how to operate our new appliances. Left the kitchen clean of all packing materials and wiped down counter and appliances before leaving! Would definitely use them again!!

We have used In-Law plumbing multiple times. Each time they impress me more than the last. The most recent event was when we were having a new roof put on and one of the vent pipes were disintegrated. They were out the next afternoon before the roofers were done so it prevented a second trip for the roofers. They are so responsive and always provide information on what is being done.

I just needed a couple of faucets tightened up. In-Law Plumbing responded promptly to a BBB search I made for a plumber. They were able to come out in just a couple of days. Trevor arrived within the time window and explained everything he was doing to repair the faucets. He offered tips to me as the homeowner for better maintenance. The cost was very reasonable. I plan to use In-Law Plumbing again soon for the inside valves on my sprinkler system. Highly recommend!

Wow. I cant say enough wonderful things about In-Law. From my first call, not knowing exactly what I needed/wanted, Bernie talked through options and what to purchase for new faucet fixtures prior to their arrival.Trevor, who performed our service, was an absolute treasure! He did a great job with the installation and looking at a couple other issues we had. He was neat, cleaned up and provided some info related to the mechanics of the faucet. I normally dont take the time to leave reviews like this, but I had to this time. I called one of the Famous Omaha Plumbers that we all see on the t.v. commercials to help with a root unclogging in my main house drain. They ran a camera, couldnt push their camera far enough so they told me I had a line collapse and provided me with a $9,500 quote for partial pipe replacement!? When I asked about using some tree root cutting blades they said they dont do that anymore and was against city code? I dont think that is true. A friend recommended In-Law Plumbing so I called them and after talking with Scott about my options and their hydroblasting services I knew I was talking with a true service company. A day later, a tech showed up, got his camera and hydroblast tool through the same area that the big company couldnt go through. Next he hydroblasted the line and after 90 mins he COMPLETELY cleaned out all the tree roots without damaging my pipes and got my house functional again without doing a full line replacement. If anyone is looking for true service company and wants to avoid the car-salesman tactics by the big guys do yourself a favor and call In-Law Plumbing. These are the ONLY plumbers Ill be using for my house and want others to know about the good experience I had today. THANK YOU SCOTT AND CHRIS & THE ENTIRE TEAM!!!

We had In-Law Plumbing replace the shut-off valves in our bathrooms, laundry room, and kitchen and they also replaced the guts of all our toilets after we had an unfortunate leak in one of our toilets and found out the hard way that our shutoff valves were old and didnt actually completely shut off the water. Our entire experience with In-Law Plumbing was top-notch and I would absolutely use them again for future plumbing needs. Randy was excellent to work with; he gave honest feedback about which valves needed to be replaced and which ones did not. It really felt like he was making recommendations as though he were spending his own money - which I truly appreciated. Excellent work on a house re-piping project, prompt / on-time, great communication from the owner, and a good price. They re-piped the section of our 100 year old house that was left on corroded & clogging galvanized iron, over to copper. Would go to these guys for any project big or small. I also appreciated that when I told the owner that I thought we needed our water heater flushed, he recommended not doing it as it has not been done on a very regular basis & could thus cause more problems. A small detail, but I appreciated that they could have simply tacked on a a few hundred more zero-overhead dollars (with them already being out here), but recommended against it.

I have used In Law Plumbing four different times. The last time was just a few weeks ago, right before Thanksgiving they helped me with my water pipes issues but a few months ago they helped me too and plus a few years ago they replaced my water heater,but also before that they scoped my sewer. Four times I have called upon In Law Plumbing and they helped me at a very reasonable price. And they did a good, quality job too. I have always found them to be fair in their pricing. They always gave me an estimate that was much lower than other plumbers and they held to the estimate once the job was complete.They have integrity.Their plumbers are knowledgable, courteous and they clean up after themselves. The plumbers are nice and friendly. And I was very pleased with their work. Also, Bernie is great with estimates and paperwork. I had extra paperwork and Bernie was super nice about helping with it .I highly recommend In Law Plumbing.

I had a prior conversation with one of the owners, Scott, before anyone came out, and he gave me an idea of what it would cost. Weve been using In-Law for our last 4-5 plumbing issues and are completely happy with their work, pricing, and most of all - honesty. On our last call, we had a blocked drain. They assumed it was because of the freezing weather we were having and suggested running a space heater in our garage below the pipes in question until they could get to us. Sure enough after several hours, the drain cleared, costing us nothing. In-Law is always our first call for any plumbing issue.

Over the last few years we have used In Law Plumbing for services. They have installed a new toilet, fixed a leaking kitchen sink, a few clogged drains and a bath tub, installed a water softener, and most recently when that water softener blew out they helped us get it covered under warranty. As soon as the new one comes in they will install that too. We dont plan to ever use another plumber. Scott and the rest of the crew have been nothing but amazing to work with.

Bernie correctly suspected there were roots blocking the sewer instead. Not only did we NOT have to replace the entire sewer the week before Christmas, but In-Law Plumbing came back the very next day and cleared the blockage by hydro-jetting. My wife and I were very impressed with In-Law Plumbing & Drain Services, Inc. Shawn showed up in less than one hour. We couldnt get any of the other five plumbing companies we called to come out same day without being charged for an emergency call. We were quoted between $280-$310 over the phone for the initial work we needed done. He found a way to get all of the work done for $178. Shawn walked us through everything he was doing so we didnt feel like we were being taken advantage of by the company. In the future we are definitely going to call In-Law Plumbing and ask for Shawn again!

Edit: Just had them out again, Oshea I think was his name, super cool guy, did a great job.My bathroom sink wasnt draining, it was backing up and I had called one gentleman to come out and try to fix it. Great experience!Honestly was not sure what to expect in the install service, as they were contracted out by Lowes (you never fully know because they dont give you any company info heads up) - but was pleasantly surprised and extremely satisfied with Shawn (installer) and the company itself.Shawn arrived and immediately assessed the situation, gave us a run down of what steps and access throughout the house, etc. Was finished with our original install task in about an hour. I cant thank In Law enough. I am a widow. I had a bad contractor install a new bathroom and lost hot water to the entire house. I was told I needed a new hot water heater and I have been suffering with no hot water for 4 months. I finally bit the bullet and called for a replacement. When they came out they determined that it was not the water heater but the new shower line causing cold water to flow into the hot after it left the hot water heater. They replaced the shower mixture value to stop the back flow and instantly I had hot water, with the same water heater. They saved me around $700 today. They talked to me and explained what they were doing and why. They were on time, courteous and informative. I will call them for all my plumbing needs and you should as well. This company is honest and affordable more importantly they will not do work you dont need to simply take your money and in todays society it is hard to find a company with this kind of integrity.

From those he was able to tell me it was a Kohler faucet & I should be able to find this inexpensive part @ Ferguson’s Plumbing Supply. I did find it, a pkg of 2 ‘splines’ for $3.52. Sewer Line Work: Hydro-jetted my sewer line.I kept forgetting to write this review, but I finally am getting around to it. These guys are fantastic and completely reasonable to work with. Roto-Rooter kept trying to upsell me on replacing my entire sewer line for $18,000, but In-Law Plumbing provided a second opinion showing me that my line was in great shape and will only need to be hydro-jetted to clear any roots every 2 years or so (when I notice my drains slowing down). Always get more than one opinion if someone is asking you to spend thousands.I highly recommend them for any plumbing work you could imagine. They were upfront and honest about cost, showed up on time, and they even helped me not throw money down the toilet.

Called In-law plumbing for a third bid on a shower p-trap replacement after the first company who tried unsuccessfully to cable the drain told us we needed a full pipe fix. First company was extremely expensive, second wouldnt be able to start for over a month. Spoke with Bernie at 4pm and he had someone out at 8am the next morning to try cabling the drain. Was hesitant due to how much we had already paid the first company, however In-law plumbing got the drain unclogged within a few minutes and saved me tons of money from an unnecessary pipe replacement. The gentleman who worked on the drain was extremely professional, cleaned everything up, and double checked for a leak. Great service!

I was then told that the valve might need to be replaced at an estimated cost of $450.00. I really appreciated their honesty, and their second attempt to fix the original issue instead of them not trying and doing the most expensive job. We had a pretty bad sewage back up in the basement. They were very flexible with time and got out there quick. They cleaned out the main line blockage and sent a camera in to make sure that everything was in good order throughout the whole system. They gave us a usb drive with the video of what the camera saw for future reference and everything. The price was way less than any competitors that we checked with. We were very happy with all aspects of their service and will recommend In-Law plumbing to anyone we know.

What started for us as a clogged drain became a nightmare scenario where the clogged drain was the least of our concerns (we had to excavate front yard, remove existing main sewer line, replace with new sewer line plus 3 external clean-outs along with cabling 3 drains, video 2 lines and replace a toilet). Suffice it to say, In-law Plumbing came to the rescue from the get go. They were prompt, professional and most importantly highly trained experts at what they do. They not only came with the highest recommendations but other friends who had similar problems said not to worry, they treat you like family. We can positively confirm their company motto is an understatement. They treated us better than family, we were in dire straights and they took care of every aspect of our plumbing (and fiscal needs). What could have been a financial and emotional nightmare turned out to be a lifelong teaching moment for others to watch out for when purchasing a home. Pro Tip #1, have your potential home inspected by licensed plumbers who take the time to video your pipes so theres nothing hidden or unexpected (like an undisclosed septic tank in the city) that youll end up paying much more than the cost of inspection to have to deal with after the purchase. In-law plumbing not only took care of everything from interior work to exterior work, but they were available by phone and in-person throughout the entire process. We cant recommend these guys enough and they truly saved the day when we needed them. As far as were concerned, theyre family from this point forward.

I am a young, new home owner and if your looking for a trustworthy plumber that won’t rip you off this is the company to go with. We had an issue with our bathroom tub draining. It would take 40 mins to finish draining from a shower. Because of covid we pushed getting it fixed. That was a big mistake because it got worse and a smell was starting in our bathroom. I was already terrified to call a plumber because I did get a quote from one of those big plumbers in town and they said it would cost $12,000! Wel I couldn’t afford that. The water line coming into my house was frozen from the -30 wind chill therefore preventing any water from flowing into the house. Scott told me that they actually had one of their guys in Southwest Omaha and would send him over after he finished his last call. Over the weekend, I had a water heater failing to maintain a lit pilot light. First thing on a Monday morning I called In-Law Plumbing and Bernie took the call and informed me hed attempt to get out there by the afternoon. By noon, he had arrived (calling ahead to give me notice). He was very mindful of my property by wearing protective booties and cleaning up after repairs. Although he could have easily talked me into a brand new heater, he simply replaced the affected parts and charged me minimally to do so. Bernie was highly knowledgeable, very courteous, and friendly. He answered all my questions and made suggestions to prolong the remaining life of the water heater. Dont let their name fool you; unlike your real in-laws, youll feel completely comfortable with these guys in your home.

I called In-Law Plumbing to get a second opinion about some very expensive plumbing and sewer line work that another company had said we needed. The proposed repairs totaled nearly $15,000. Not wanting to spend that kind of money without a second opinion, I called In-Law Plumbing for that second opinion. Thomas, from In-Law, arrived promptly and asked me to explain to him what was going on. I told him my story, and then he began his work. After scoping out our lines with a sophisticated-looking camera setup, and having me watch the whole procedure, Thomas informed me that our sewer lines were in excellent shape... just a few tree roots in one spot. Rather than spending nearly $15,000, Thomas recommended that we do nothing at this time, and come this spring/summer, have the sewer lines jetted (approximately a $200 cost) to take care of the tree roots. He explained that it would likely need to be done every couple of years. So... rather than spending thousands of dollars, well just make it a maintenance process to have the lines jetted. Thanks to Thomas and In-Law plumbing for saving us so much money! On the back of the business card from Thomas it says, We Treat You Like Family. Absolutely true! Family will save you money! I would unequivocally and whole-heartedly recommend In-Law plumbing!

They were very busy and booked out about 2 weeks already, but he took the time to talk with me and answer my questions about the issue we were having with our water heater. He was so familiar with it that he was able to communicate over the phone exactly what I needed to do to attempt resolving the most common issue with my water heater. I did it and now our water heater is working great. It is not new, and he said at some point we will need to replace it, but not today. And during our 10 minute conversation, he not only helped fix it, but also let me know exactly what it will cost to replace it. Extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. I plan to call them when we eventually have to replace it.
