Backlund Plumbing was contracted by MUD to do a camera scope of my plumbing to make sure they hadnt done any damage.. The dispatcher that scheduled the appointment was beyond polite!! Their technician Mike was incredible!! He was very polite, explained what he was doing, he explained that the lines to the street were full of tree roots (landlords problem) and cleaned up after himself.. If I ever were to need a plumber, I would definitely recommend Backlund and Mike!!

I have nothing but good things to say about this company. First of all it was New Years Eve and guests were showing up for dinner when we realized that we have a problem. I immediately called our HVAC Contractor who we have a service contract with. This company who happened to do some work on the pipe weeks prior that was spraying all over my utility room. After calling their emergency after hours answering service and waiting 40 minutes for a call back, the gentleman at the other end used every excuse to not send someone out because of the holiday. He simply said since the water leak is slowing , it will eventually stop after shutting off the hot water heater. My only option is to call the office on Tuesday to set up a service call. No hot water for three days?Not Acceptable!Becklund Pluming came to the rescue! They were courteous and set up my appointment for 8am the next morning. The technician was was on time, knowledgeable, and got our repair done in a timely manner. He was apologetic for holiday rates, but got the job done quickly and afterwards showed me his quality work. We were very thankful for Backlund Plumbing as they restored our issue and we had hot water within 20 hours after discovering the water issue.

I noticed the shower has been draining very slowly. Hoping the issue wouldnt become a major problem I called Backlund Plumbing and had them out the next day. The service tech (Mike) came out and was able to snake it out. He also did it in a timely manner but he spent time really cleaning the area up and making sure he left it as clean if not better then it was before he arrived. He was polite, courteous, professional, and would recommend them again!

I had an appointment scheduled through my home warranty provider through Backlund as well. The plumbers name was George and he was beyond knowledgeable and professional. He worked patiently with my warranty company when the job needed a little more work than originally intended.Leak was fixed promptly and couldnt be happier with the service.I highly recommend Backlund.

I was extremely happy with my service from Backlund Plumbing. They did a complete check and discovered that my pipes were frozen under our slab. We attempted to send electrical currents but the distance was too far to do it safely. They had a supervisor come for review and did everything in their power to fix. Now that being said, it was our error for not keeping the sink dripping during this freeze. We came to that conclusion as a pro would never suggest that customer was in error but did agree when I brought that up. Even though the temp in the building was ok.....we do not know how deep our pipes are buried and will take more precautions in the future. I mention this to save others from what happened to us by our error. The team wore masks, were extremely nice and professional.

5 Stars! I called in the wee hours Saturday morning and was immediately set up with an early morning appointment. Sheldon arrived and went straight to work fixing my toilet problem. He was so genuinely nice as well as efficient, knowledgeable and has a great work ethic. I was extremely satisfied with the entire experience. Highly recommend for any plumbing issue big or small. I will be using Backlund Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs!

I have been extremely pleased with Backlund employees and their service starting with Leslie who takes the calls for service in a warm and friendly manner, George, Sheldon and Dustin who took care of everything that I wanted taken care of and were professional and so very nice, special kudos to George who gave me estimates on the other things I wanted done and gave me great recommendations and last but not least, Mike from Zoom who cleaned out a stubborn kitchen drain. All of these guys were polite and courteous and did a great job. They were fast and efficient and did all the clean up. I have already recommended them to people I work with and will continue to do so. Backlund is my choice for plumbing issues.

I really really wish I could give a better review because our actual plumber was fantastic-- kind, communicative, and skilled. He was helpful and definitely went above and beyond. My bad experience was all due to poor communication on the part of Backlunds customer service manager. So many things were miscommunicated or not communicated at all that it was tough to get the job done at all.Edit: Cody, the foreman, went above and beyond to come out on a Friday afternoon and inspect a leak at our new property in an effort to make things right. I definitely believe that professional, quality individuals work here and stand by their workmanship and provide quality service.

I was lucky to get next-day service for a leaky pipe. Sheldon worked quickly, efficiently, and was very helpful in explaining everything he was doing (and why it happened). After fixing the basement pipe and replacing a toilets valve, he asked if there was anything else. I had forgot to mention when making the appt a sink issue, and he immediately addressed it as well. Quality work, more-than reasonable price, and great customer service from a skilled and friendly professional--I couldnt be happier.

The technician - Vance, from Zoom Drain a partner with Backlund plumbing did an amazing job! He not only unclogged the stubborn drain which was backed up from the street, he removed a rug that had been ruined by the flooding water, he even helped start the cleanup with his waterhose! I was overwhelmed by the whole thing but by the time Vance left things were well in hand with just minor clean up remaining. The best customer service I’ve experienced!

Hot water line valve came apart on a Saturday morning. Like other commentators, I tried a 24/7 place first and got a Monday appointment (?). Backlund returned the call promptly, came out when they said they would, did a fantastic job and cleaned up, and charged a very reasonable amount. Have already shared them with friends and family that needed help.The ONLY bad thing I would say is that the emergency service info is not easy to find online. You need to leave a phone message and listen to all of your choices.

We discovered water damage in our basement on Saturday afternoon and called Backlund Plumbing for help. They sent Alex within an hour and by the time he arrived we had found the source of the leak from our refrigerator. We suspected we needed an appliance repair rather than plumbing by that point. He agreed and after a call to his manager didn’t charge us because we’ve been customers in the past! I would definitely recommend Backlund Plumbing for 24 hour service and polite professionals.

Sheldon was a lifesaver. I originally had a different plumber come and look and was given a quote of 13k to get everything back to how it should be, I was a little weary paying this as it felt like they were just trying to get as much money as they could and change everything out so I opted for another quote from Backlund before I decided and thank god I did. Sheldon came out and looked over everything and was just as surprised as me when I let him know what the other plumber was wanting to fix. Sheldon was in and out within an hour with the issue fixed for a couple hundred. Quite the change from 13k. Couldnt recommend Backland more and Im thankful I have found a reliable plumber as I am new to Omaha.

Hi! We’ve used this service twice during the pandemic. Each time, the provider has shown up with their own mask already on. It makes me feel safer knowing that they are taking precautions. They are also professional, honest, and straightforward. We’ve called them three times and each time they’ve been able to quickly identify the problem. Twice when we couldn’t tell if we had a leak or hvac problem, and once to deal with a leak in our bathtub. Great company with professional workers.

Highly recommended! We just bought a house a week ago and immediately had plumbing issues causing water in our basement. We first called the company that held our home warranty on Monday to be told they couldn’t make it out until Thursday. Come Thursday, they cancelled until Friday. We decided to try calling Backland and they came out same day! Dwight and his crew came out late on a Friday night and fixed the issue as well as provided us recommendations regarding our plumbing. My wife and I had a whole laundry list of plumbing projects: move 2 outdoor faucets, add a 3rd outdoor faucet, replace all valves and fittings from the outside of the house leading in, replace downstairs toilet, replace downstairs sink and caulk kitchen sink. Back in the spring I had my main drain backup into my house called several plumbers, but Backlund was who answered, showed up, and snaked my drain. After the water started going down, they brought in there scope truck and scoped my main drain that just backed up and told me the reason why it backed up was cuz of my tree in the front yard. This is where it made me mad because the previous owners stated that they have replaced the main drain pipe. It was only because of Backlund that I learned that only four feet of my main drain was replaced in PVC and not the whole thing. But Backlund went above and beyond and help me out and ran their root cutter down my drain after they had already cleared it of the clock because they said that it would just come back within a month. So far its been 8 months and not one single issue if I have any other plumbing problems First Call will be Backlund awesome service awesome people!!!

Didnt have things go my way, and got hit with a worse bill than Id hoped. But, after I worked with the drain guy from Zoom and hed cleared the floor drain, I asked him to wait while I tried the washing machine. The drain backed up again. So he got back to work, no questions. After he tried many times and got the water flowing clear, he asked permission to send in a camera, which I agreed to. There was a dead animal in there! He broke to down, but my old rusty main didnt give the room he needed, so he asked to jet the drain, which I agreed to. After a long day, and switching me to a full days rate (not cheap), and showing me video all the time, they cleared the animal, inches of rust, and left me a main clearer than when I moved in-and showed me. While its not what I expected, its what I needed, all because they did the right thing.

I manage a restaurant and I had my back room floor drains backing up at 7:30 PM on a Saturday night when the place was packed. I called another plumber who said it would be $148.50 an hour, a 2 hour minimum plus a $22.50 trip charge. I said absolutely not and called Backlund Plumbing. I asked what it would cost, they said $135.00 an hour. I said any minimum or trip charge, they said no. They came right over and had it done in less than an hour for about $100.00

Not only did they answer the phone, they said they could get to me same day, most likely in the afternoon, I stressed how it was affecting everyone in the builind and WELL SOMEONE WAS AT MY BUSINESS AT 8:15AM!! I want to share how Backlund rose to the top and in no small manner, My daughter and son-in laws home had a backed up sewer line going out to the street. We had 3 different plumbing companies (which will remain nameless) to look at and estimate the cost of repair. Company 1 charged $200 to camera the pipe and quoted a $28,000.00 repair, Company 2 charged nothing, but claimed their price would be close to the $28,000 mark, Company 3 charged $350.00, to camera and quoted $14,000 for the repair. I then contacted Cody Culver from Backlund Plumbing, he was prompt to send his techs out to look at the issue, was confident it was probably not that bad, the next day they showed up, assessed and cleaned the pipe fixing the issue for a sum of $813.00. The kids are young and trying to make there way, they were scared to death over these numbers, understandably. I cannot thank Cody and his team at Backlund enough for what they did for these kids and the professionalism of him and his team, Backlund is our go to plumbing contractor from here out, they have definitely earned it.

Prompt service on a Sunday morning. Sheldon is truly an exceptional member of your team. UPDATE: About 10 months later, we needed a plumber again. A more complicated issue this time. Called Backlund. Over the course of several days I was assisted by Greg, Leslie and Brenda in the office. Excellent service from all - without exception. The same plumber as before was dispatched. Sheldon was again exceptional. I would recommend Backlund AND Sheldon to anyone, anytime.

They repaired a shower controller in one room and a bathtub controller in another. The bathtub was more complicated and they had to return on a Saturday. Justin figured out the problem and fixed it! polite and thorough and saved me hundreds of dollars by not having to replace the fixtures

Woke up to NO hot water on my first day back to work!! Called Backlund Plumbing told them what I thought the problem was (gas control valve) for which they quoted me $195 for the part outrageous since it cost $35 new! Did a little more research - changed my diagnosis to thermocouple, but could not find a price for it on line. Tech (Dan) confirmed my suspicions and replaced the thermo-couple, charged me $20 for the part, their standard fee of $95/hour. TOTALLY EXCELLENT work.Oops! Found out later that the thermocouple cost $7.00!! Still a lot better than paying $195 for a part that I didnt need, but darn the mark up bandits!! Why does it have to be 3X or more than the actual cost?? BTW, they do HONOR the MILITARY.Thanks Backlund Plumbing for a job well done.
