United was sent to us a long time ago because of our home warranty plan. However this gave them my information and they have been calling me since to schedule a maintenance cleaning for a discounted price. When they couldn’t get a hold of me they called my husband. This caught him off guard but he decided to schedule the cleaning.The day before arrival they called me to move my appointment to the end of the week.The day before the new appointment they called me to move back my time block. I was a bit irritated because the company called me many times to schedule and then moved me twice.The day of the appointment my technician called to tell me they would be an hour late. That was irritating (only because of the previous calls I got from United) however understanding the business I get you can take longer at a job site than you anticipated. I was thankful they at least called to make me aware! I waited to see how the technician preformed before calling the company.Our technician Ryan, was the saving face of how I felt about United. He was honest and thorough and when deciding to change the plan of action he went back to redo his work.The basic maintenance cleaning wasn’t enough for our unit, so we had to upgrade the cost. I was not happy about the price upgrade but I was happy with the cleaning that was done with the upgrade. He was a wonderful technician!Update 8/23/24I am updating my review from 4 to 5 star because of the manager Justin and technician Caleb. On the 18th I almost dropped the review to one star and wrote about my situation. However I gave it some time and was shocked when the manager heard me out and came and put eyes on the situation. When he came out and we discussed my concerns he made the issues more than right! He sent me out a new technician and made sure everything was addressed! I will continue to keep my plan with them and keep them as my top company.

He was on time! He was very professional. Explained everything he did and made sure I was happy and had no other questions before leaving. They’ve done work on our HVAC before. Although this was just a “winter tune up” on all 3 of our units, we will definitely use them again when one of them decides to act up again.

Had my annual heating service done this morning sept 30th this time with different company. Caleb did an Outstanding Service. He actually inspected the whole system and explained thoroughly. Unlike other companies they just changed filter and in and out your house, however Caleb was spot on, I have very old unit. He took his time to check out everything on the list, performed, explained, and recommended what needed to be done. He was Professional and knowledgeable. I finally found a company whos honest and reliable! Superb customer service!

The service technician Omar was very professional, prompt and very knowledgeable. I explained that I appreciate the he was truthful and honest about his assessment of my system. He did not go over board with trying to sell or pressure me into buy things that I did not. He only gave recommendations. He also recommended a specific filter that was $165 dollars if i purchased from the company. I explained that i wanted to do research on the product because i knew i could find it cheaper. He understood and explained the extra cost if i purchased from the company. I appreciate the honesty. Omar well done.

My experience with United Air Temp was super!! I would give it a 9.5 out of 10. The reason I don’t give them a 10 is because they suggested I get a new air conditioner unit. Honestly, every HVAC person that I have ever met suggested that I get a new unit although my current unit is only 3 years old. My current unit simply needed the compressor replaced. Once we got past his sales pitch the service was wonderful!! They were knowledgeable. They were professional. They provided before and after pictures. They were empathetic. Their price was $400 less than the estimate we got from Bardi heating and cooling. I really appreciate their honesty.

The tech was very prompt and worked hard to find the issue which required replacing multiple parts as well as the thermostat. He was extremely detailed and made sure we understood everything even made sure our smart thermostat was connected and that we understood how to use it with our phones. He even made a special trip back to his office an hour away to get the smart thermostat so that we didn’t have to have him back on another day. I will definitely use them again and would recommend them to others!

This was a great service call. My downstairs unit would not run. As it turns out my condensation pump was full and shut off the unit. What made this call so good was the process the service tech went through to determine there was nothing wrong with the pump, but that the line was clogged outside. What could have been a costly service was minimal because the tech was both efficient and honest. He could have sold me a new pump, but he did the right thing. This is the sort of stuff that brings me back to United Air Temp.

United Air Temp has been consistently top notch for us over the last several years. They went above and beyond this time around; our AC stopped working just before a big storm. During the storm and we had a tree come down and take out the power so line the AC tech, Randall, couldn’t troubleshoot when he arrived. He told me he would come as soon as GA Power restored the line - and he did, at 10:00 at night to work on the AC! He stayed until close to midnight. You don’t get service like that very often. United Air Temp continues to win my business over and over.

I think your technician went over and above to come out and look at my unit but your scheduler did not listen to me on the phone! It wasted your time and money because my unit is a communicating unit and through American home shield y’all do not work on my unit. It’s not the technicians fault. It’s a company issue and you’ve been at my address several times through American home shield and take one look at it and say you’re not allowed to work on it because American home shield doesn’t pay you enough! So, in the future, please take me off your scheduling.

United Air Temp is an honest, not out to sell you the world when it is not needed. We had two companies tell us that Both of our systems were leaking.And it was only 24k to replace them both. United explained everything to us in understandable terms, and that though old, were functioning in good working order. They honored our grey hair instead of taking advantage.
