I had a terrible surprise with my recent water bill and could not isolate where a leak was no matter what I did.I called National Leak Detection and Laura was amazing in understanding the problem, confirming that I had already checked the most obvious possible (toilets etc) and got me worked into the schedule that afternoon.Paul arrived within the hour, went through with me where everything came into the house etc, and then went to work.By process of elimination he finally found the source of the leak in the backyard, using his specialized equipment,in an unused sprinkler system. Small leak, but an expensive leak… Problem solved!He is professional, charming, reassuring and the Sherlock Holmes of leak detection. Look nowhere else if you have an unidentifiable leak. National Leak Detection (NLD) did an OUTSTANDING job of identifying a man made water leak in my kitchen that spread to the living room & dining room. I purchased a new refrigerator in Nov 2024 that didnt require a water line like my old refrigerator. The refrigerator installers failed to properly disconnect the line. Meanwhile I went on a 2 & 1/2 week Thanksgiving driving trip. Plummer couldnt fine this leak & recommended NLD who had a rep at my house that afternoon. Rep found it within 30 minutes of arrival & shut it off. This kind of response and efficiency is why I give them 5 stars.

I would HIGHLY recommend this company and specifically, Paul Dominy, who was the service technician that came out to our home to perform a very thorough series of tests on our water systems, including the irrigation system. He was such a pleasant person to deal with and really seemed like he enjoyed his work! He made sure to explain every step of the tests that he was performing and why he was performing them. Also, Laura, who works in the office was very service oriented and made sure to explain their cost system and what services I could expect. I love doing business with smaller, family owned businesess and this company is a prime example of why I prefer to do that!

Its not like they need another 5-star review, but they are getting one anyway. I discovered black mold in my house last week and the mold remediation specialist suggested that I start with a leak detection test. They scheduled me quickly. Sean did a great job and was very kind and explained everything. He detected no leak. He answered the phone the next day when I called because I couldnt figure out how to turn the water back on and he talked me through that. I highly recommend this company. Fast, efficient, professional and kind.

I am a landlord and manage several rental properties myself, working with many services and contractors. Paul provided one of the MOST PROFESSIONAL SERVICE I have ever encountered. Paul arrived quickly at the site just a couple of hours after we called. First, he explained his work plan, and then, within an hour, he found the location of the leak. Paul explained why it was the spot of the leak and let me hear the water bubbling sound to confirm we were on the same page. This was my first experience needing a leak detection company and it exceeded my expectations. Laura answered my call and was friendly in gathering my info, and provided me with potential costs at scheduling. They were able to come within 24 hours of my call, which was great since my home water line was off. Chase arrived at the front end of my appointment window, and was also very personable, and quick to get to work. He was very conscientious when coming inside my home, donning shoe covers, and Removing them with each exit. He had to dig up a small area, and was even careful with the grass so we could replant it once repairs were complete. Though I hope to not have a leak again any time soon, National Leak Detection would be my first call and I highly recommend this company to others in need of leak detection services.

I want to write this review because Sean was very professional and came out here to my moms house to find a leak we had near our sidewalk. It is because of his very detail service that he found the leak near a tree that helped us narrow down a spot and even a possible source in the first place. I also want to add that he had a lot of patience with us in a time of a lot of distress as we had not had water for several days and were very anguished. This company service is worth every penny as they even explained you their findings in detail in order for the homeowner to make decisions as to how to tackle such an issue as a leak near a sidewalk and basically in the street!

I was referred to National Lead Detection by my plumber. Laura was so great when I called and I knew I was in good hands. Ken came out and was very nice to work with. It turned out he needed to take care of me in two trips so he could pinpoint the location of my slab leak for my plumber without leaving me with holes in my floor for a week. He came back right before the plumbers at 7:45 in the morning and got me taken care of. I would use them again and will recommend them to my friends. You hope you never need this service but it is well worth it to use these folks!

I had a major water main break between the meter and the house, but there was no wet soil and no signs of any leak on my property. Chase Gable performed the leak detection and marked the spot where he thought the leak was, though he couldnt say how deep the pipe was buried (it was on a slope). He was right on the money! the PVC pipe was found exactly centered under the spot he marked, about 3 feet deep.

Incredible Experience! Amidst one of the most challenging times Ive had as a homeowner, this company was incredibly helpful, professional and reliable. The service Laura provided in coordinating all aspects of the service and my needs was incredible. She went above and beyond on multiple occasions. Sean and the other guys coming out and finding the leaks were so professional and experienced. They found the leaks in my slab on two separate occasions. They were persistent and are really good at what they do. I cant recommend them highly enough - particularly, for locating slab leaks, but others as well (both inside and outside). The plumber knew not to even come out w/o them here first given how difficult slab leaks are to find. This company is company owned and operated, and you can tell the difference in the level that they care about their customers. I wish other service providers offered this type of care and service.

She asked why I was calling and was quick to book an appointment for same day service to find a leak between my house and the water meter. Today Kent with National Leak Detection came to my home for the second time in 2 years. I just had the copper pipes in my house removed and replaced with CPVC. Although the replumbing project went great, we still seemed to have an active water leak. My house is on a slab so this was baffling after having so much work done. This is a great company. We noticed our water bill had doubled. Sean came out right away but could not find the leak. He said that they would not charge us until they found the leak. The next day Kent came out and spent 4 hours and found the area under the slab in our hallway. He came back the next day and pinpointed exactly where the leak was. He was within inches. What made it worse was our house is on a steep hill and we werent sure where the leak was.Sean came out (during a thunderstorm) in the morning to investigate. Top Quality......AND more importantly....ACCURATE!! The money it costs to have this service done is incredibly insignificant compared to the money you will save in the long run. We had a leak somewhere in our main water line. A plumber came out to assess the situation, and came to the conclusion that there would be a significant cost to repair without the use of an accurate and reputable leak detection company. We contacted National Leak Detect. Sean came out (Saturday) the next day. Sean spent time finding, and marking the direction of the water line, which traveled directly under my long driveway. After that, Sean zeroed in to about a 3 area, and went to work to pinpoint even further. He then pinpointed the leak to a 4 inch area under my driveway - no joke! When the plumber arrived on Monday, they were also impressed by Seans work. Due to Seans pinpoint accuracy, and the fact that Sean took the time to mark the entire water line up to my house, the plumber was comfortable in pulling a new water line opposed to jack-hammering a large portion of my driveway. Well, the repair worked, and Sean was spot on!! Although I wasnt celebrating that I had the leak, I did celebrate that Seans accurate and methodical work saved my thousands of dollars in additional driveway repairs! Great work Sean! THANK YOU!!

This company is incredible!!! We had a leak in our pipe from the meter to the house and was recommended to this company. You call, Laura picks up in a few rings and gets you on the books! Our situation was not emergent and they were still able to schedule within a few days. Mr. Kent came out to the house and, as is our luck, discovered that our home has some valve in place that wont allow for backwards air flow so he couldnt hear the air to locate the leak in his normal way. I feel like most companies would leave it at that and leave me high and... wet? But Kent was able to think outside the box, dug a small hole by our water meter, and blasted some air in from the street. By doing this he was able to locate the leak, tag it, and was on his way.Dont look anywhere else for your leak detection needs. Kent really went above and beyond for me. He pinpointed the leak the very first time out, but the plumber who came out to repair only dug down 24 inches and said the leak was not in the place indicated. Kent came back out quickly and confirmed he had located the correct area by digging a little deeper down until we could see bubbling water. He didnt have to do that but he wanted me to be confident that he found the leak. Thanks so much!
