Dean’s plumbing has been our plumber for many years our daughter has used Dean’s since 2002 reliable and gets the job completed always.They installed two tall commodes.Did a great job.Dean is the only plumber we have ever used. Travis and his associate, Ryan, showed up as scheduled this morning. The kitchen faucet and bathtub faucet were leaking. After looking them over, Travis gave us a quote for the work and we accepted it. The bathtub faucet had corroded over the years requiring heat on a part to get it out. Travis explained to me and my mom what he had to do. He was very patient with us! The applied heat didn’t work so the fixture inside the bath wall would have to come out. Before beginning the work, Travis explained the reason for the additional cost and gave us another quote. We agreed to it. They went out to their supplier and brought back new fixtures that my mom really liked. Now she wants a sink to compliment her new faucet! The current green sink is over 50 years old, so it’s time for an update! We will have them come back to install once she picks her sink out. Travis and Ryan were polite and I was impressed how they carefully and patiently explained what had to be done and the cost. They cleaned up after they were done. Dean’s Plumbing has 2 fine employees to be proud of!

Their service was excellent. They arrived on time, found the issue immediately (our water heater leaked) and replaced with a new one, all done within 3.5 hrs. The efficiency was amazing. The two young men were professional and polite. The only thing I didnt like was the price. The water heater they got us should be around $2200, and we were charged $5237!!! Which means the installation fee is around $3000. Is it worth the peace of mind since the job was done quickly and hassle-free? I guess it all depends on if you have a few thousand dollars to spare.

Their prices are in line with competitors, but their customer service is outstanding. From your first phone call the office staff are pleasant & courteous ; followed by knowledgeable explanation of your particular plumbing issue by the servicing staff. Later they follow up with a satisfaction survey. Noah Dean is exceptionally knowledgeable & a prime expert in plumbing requirements & County codes. He makes exceptional effort to get into the technical explanation of specific issues for those that can understand & relate.

Very helpful and did a good job! Answered our questions and made suggestions for how to fix our problem as well as providing an estimate. Luke and Chris were both very friendly!UPDATE: Luke and Isaiah installed a new well pump and whole house sediment filter system; did an excellent job especially since there was a 1-degree windchill! We’re very pleased!UPDATE #2: Luke and Levi did a great job even tho’ we had to change plans: originally wanted to re-bed water softener but it was too old so we decided to go with a new salt-free system. They got the necessary kit and had it installed within just a few hours! Very professional and efficient!

Harold and Chris did an extremely fine job replacing our water heater and softener. They worked diligently to get our water service back on line. A somewhat messy job, they were very concerned to do a clean (and dry) job, and protect our home as they moved things in and out. The installation was done without delay and quietly. When they were finished, Harold walked us through operating the new softener and the guarantees and warranties of both items. Both Harold and Chris were polite, respectful, and reassuring the entire time. Their quality of work was TOP NOTCH. I HIGHLY recommend them and Deals Plumbing if you are in need of help.

Excellent service with a plus! Technician Travis was amazing. Not only skilled and professional, but extremely kind. When I was not able to accomplish my original request, Travis worked with me to come up with an even better but also more affordable option. Just before calling to finalize the schedule of service, I learned of the passing of a close family member. I mentioned that during the call, and when Travis arrived for the scheduled service call, he had a card signed by everyone in the company! I was beyond touched. He did a great job with the install, and when I was inspecting the work after his departure, I discovered he replaced my toilet fill line as a bonus, and now my toilet works better than before. Another important note, I love that Deans introduces their technicians by way of photo before they arrive to provide an extra level of comfort for letting them into your home. I am ever grateful to Deans for their compassion and kindness in addition to great plumbing!

I am so happy with Deans Plumbing! I called the number randomly and the call was answered by “Hannah”(?) who is possibly the sweetest person I’ve ever spoken to in my life! She kept me updated as to the arrival of my plumber and a picture of him. Harold was so nice and informative. He educated me on some plumbing issues without making me feel stupid. He made his assessment and offered me options without pressure. He was quick and cleaned everything up. I am definitely a DEANS loyalist now! Highly recommended!!!!

I highly recommend Levi and Deans Plumbing.2 July 2024 - Travis came to disconnect our gas stove in preparation of a new countertop installation. Travis was courteous and professional. I highly recommend Travis and Deans Plumbing.14 May 2024 - In support of our kitchen make-over wrapping up, Levi came to remove an kitchen sink and disposal. He also dry fitted a new sink for when our countertop is replaced. He also reconnected our gas range. Levi is very professional and thorough. I have been impressed by him with every tasking and visit he has ever made. I highly recommend Levi and Deans Plumbing.18 Jan 2024 - Levi came to take pressure readings of our gas line to assess if variations of gas pressure due to gas appliances going on and off might affect the pilot light of our gas water heater. He did identify a significant variations when our furnace turned on. I discussed with Levi the potential causes of those variations and how to remedy them. As always, Levi was very professional. I recommend him very highly.12 Jan 2024 - Levi came to discuss with me potential reasons why my water heater and gas fireplace stove pilot lights turn off sporadically. After considering potential causes, we up a likely scenario and Levi is working on a test plan to be implemented in a weeks time. He is a very professional and knowledgeable technician. I highly recommend him.Levi did a repair on my water heater. He also installed a whole house filter system that replaced my salt water softener. He was very thorough and professional, completing all the tasks in less time than I expected. I highly recommend him.

We had an issue with a partially blocked sewer line, and called Dean’s Plumbing for help.Dean’s Plumbing advised they could have someone over the next afternoon.Cole and Levi appeared right on time, assessed the situation, modified the equipment they needed, and had the job done quickly and expertly, to include satisfying themselves - and us - that they had found the problem, gotten rid of the roots that were causing the partial blockage and that water was now flowing freely through our sewer line.Both Cole and Levi were courteous, professional in appearance, professional in the way they assessed the situation, professional in the way they conveyed their assessment to us, and professional in the way they conducted their work, to include a complete cleanup once they were finished.Highly recommend.

4 stars instead of 5 only because their prices are quite a bit higher than other local plumbers and you do have to pay $89 for them to come out, even if just for an estimate. Now, if you are in a position to simply pay what they quote then I dont imagine youll be disappointed in their work. Because their customer service was top tier. Their communication before, during and after an appointment was great. And although we did not elect to have the services completed, the guys that came out were very through in their explanations and polite.

Cole was the Dean’s Plumbing lead technician on plumbing our new bathroom. This job was associated with building a new upstairs 3/4 bath. It required routing numerous pipes, drain lines and vents. It also meant digging up an old drain pipe which was under the first floor concrete slab. The initial rough-in work took three days. An additional full day was needed to do final plumbing for the shower, toilet and sink. During all this work the carpets were kept covered and a thorough cleanup was done at the end of each day. Deans was quite thorough and their crew members were always courteous and professional. The office staff members were amazingly kind and soft-spoken, which made me feel well-respected. I wouldn’t go to anyone else.

Amazing Job! Our well pump gave out in May, the next day they were there and fixed the issue, but noticed some questionable wiring to the system and alerted us to get an electrician out. We did so and once rewired they came back out to finish setting up our system. They noticed that there was still an issue with pressure and ended up being here for a 12 hour day with 90 degree heat, pop up thunderstorms and digging a 4 foot trench to correct the problem with the pump. All the while with a great attitude. Thank you so much to Levi we truly appreciate everything you did to keep our home running well.

Scheduling was easy and Amy was very helpful and willing to get answers if she didnt already know them.As promised, I received a phone call 20 minutes before the technicians arrival. Matt arrived about 5 minutes before the appointed time.Matt listened to my concerns. Confidently explained what needed to be done, and provided a quote that matched the quote Amy had given me.Our plumbing is almost 60 years old and over the years different things had been done to route the water for various purposes. As such we had a lot of excess pipe for a long removed water softener. As part of the replacement of the water shut off valve Matt removed all the excess pipe.I cant answer the good value question. I dont know plumbing. I do know that there is always someone less expensive, and sometimes they are really good at what they do, but sometimes they arent. With Deans I feel confident that even if someone could have done it for less they would not have done it better. The job is done correctly and professionally and I am really happy with the results.I chose Deans because they have a great reputation in the community, they are insured, and their techs are qualified.Ill be calling on Deans in the future and Ill be asking for Matt Poynter.

While I originally gave this a one star review, I was contacted by Dean who explained the reasoning for the quote. After explaining that is not what I wanted, I simply wanted a clog undrained, Dean not only refunded my service call but called me a few days later and offered to come out himself and unclog the drain for whatever price I thought was fair. By then, I already had another plumber come out and unclog the drain. But I want to say the customer service was OUTSTANDING. I dont think Ive ever had better. I will definitely call Deans again

After waiting for 4 weeks for my usual plumber to show up, he never showed. I was given dates on 3 occasions and all three were no shows. I had a sewer line behind my dishwasher break pouring everything that went from the kitchen sink and the disposal and dishwasher leaking onto the floor. I kept smelling a sewer smell and now I know why. In frustration I remembered passing Deans Plumbing on my way to work and decided to give them a call. Amazing enough, I got to talk to a live person and she scheduled me for just a few days later. I was phoned and emailed to tell me my technician was on his way and thats when Luke walked in the door. I was given an estimate and the entire repair was explained. Luke was kind, courteous, honest and did a professional, complete repair. Cleaned up everything and wore protective foot covers. I am 1000% satisfied and now have a new plumbing company. Deans does good work, but their pricing is unnecessarily opaque. Make sure you get an estimate over the phone first.We recently had our sewer lateral line cleaned preemptively (no active clog). When I asked the woman scheduling the appointment about typical pricing for a lateral line cleaning, she stated there are several options and the technician will be able to go over them with you once they evaluate the line. She also confirmed their $89 callout fee.The tech upon arriving informed my wife that they had a flat fee of $709 for lateral line cleaning and camera inspection, regardless of length. In fact, there were not several options, and at this point the callout fee applied.We went with the cleaning, but we wont be using Deans again unless they provide an estimate over the phone.EDIT: Deans did reach out and clarified how their estimates work, and accepted some feedback on the miscommunication. I appreciate the effort to make it right.

I was able to get a same day after hour’s appointment after finding my 15 month old home’s sump pump was running continuously even after discharge. Ken from Dean’s Plumbing came out late on a Friday night and after inspecting the issue recommended a new higher quality pump than the builder model which wasn’t functioning properly. He had the pump replaced including fitting it in with our backup sump pump within an hour. Ken was inquisitive, and candid in his assessment and the price was very fair. I’m completely satisfied and have peace of mind because our home is on a high water table and the pump needs to run frequently.

Always protected my floors, had water heater replaced. Levi was very friendly,Informative, knowledgeable and experienced. He had an apprentice with him and he made sure he included him in the installation. They worked well together.

This company is absolutely amazing. I really needed someone who was affordable, reliable, and quick in response. I got all of that and more. Mark and his helper were very polite and easy to talk to. Made the entire grim situation we were in great. Do not call anyone else. Start with Deans Plumbing.ETA I needed them once again, but this time during the weekend and not only did they respond quickly, Isaiah came to the house as soon as possible and fixed the issue no problem. I cannot recommend them enough.ETA third time needed! (I have an old house lol) Great customer service as always! They are my first call no matter the need. Not only did they have someone out to me the same day, but Cole was very professional, helpful, and I didnt feel rushed, I was able to ask all of my questions and I just cant say enough about their amazing company. On Mother’s Day afternoon we discovered an emergency issue with our shower faucet requiring us to turn off the water in the house pending resolution of our problem. Dean’s Plumbing responded to our call professionally and put us in touch with a technician quickly. Isaiah arrived on time and was so courteous (parked on the street, wore shoe covers into the house and was pleasant and professional). He took a look at our issue, provided us with a quote and resolved our problem in a couple hours. We couldn’t have asked for better service! Run, don’t walk to Dean’s Plumbing for your plumbing needs. These guys are the epitome of old school customer service! THE BEST!!!!

I recently relocated to Clayton and was in need of some major plumbing upgrades and repairs. I searched google looking for only the highest rated companies. During the selection process Deans stood out because of the level of professionalism displayed by Levi. The day of the work I received text notification when the crew was in route, once they arrived they took extra precautions to make sure the house stayed clean during the entire time the work was being performed, they went above and beyond to explain the operation of the new sump pumps ect. Overall if you are looking for cheap plumber Deans may not be your choice, but if you want a plumber you can trust, and takes extra precautions to take care of your home, shows up when promised, cleans up, and has a great attitude then Deans plumbing is perfect. I will be using Deans from now on. Thank you for a great experience!

I LOVE working with Zack! He is awesome! I reached out to Deans Plumbing and, of course, requested Zack. The water softener I purchased from Lowes stopped working after only three (3) years! Unfortunately, it was non-repairable. Zack explained the difference between the water softeners, and I was sold! I purchased a new one from Deans Plumbing because Zack was very knowledgeable and trustworthy. Zack was able to install a new one on the same day. Thank you, Zack, and I forgot his trainees name (sorry)! I have been using Deans Plumbing for years! I highly recommend this company!

Levi and Ken were both friendly and personable as well as highly skilled plumbers. They worked well as a team continually anticipating the others next move. They quickly discovered where the leaks in the pipes were located and then discussed the best solution to solving the problem. After a short time, the leaks were fixed, tested and they were off to their next job. Needless to say, we were totally satisfied with their work which includes the staff (Alicia) at the main office. As far as the cost of the job, we had no idea what to expect and felt the overall expertise and professionalism, quality, advice and personalized respect for us made it worth every penny paid!

Noticed a small leak under a toilet. This was a new one. I wanted to get it repaired prior to it becoming a major issue and perhaps harming my flooring. Called Deans Plumbing hoping to get someone out to work on my toilet sometime this week but was happily surprised to learn from Grace (who took my call) that she had a tech in my area that could stop in within an hour! Imagine my surprise and delight?!?!Cole and John arrived, diagnosed the problem, replaced the wax ring with a foam ring (I highly recommend!) replaced the supply line and got my toilet working again (leak free) very quickly. They did a great job cleaning up after and wore protective coverings over their work shoes each time they entered the house which was much appreciated considering all the snow and slush we had today.I have now used Deans Plumbing several times (and 2x this week!) for a variety of interior and exterior plumbing fixes and changes. They are awesome! Cole and John represent their company admirably! I will continue to recommend Deans Plumbing to my Village South neighbors.
