We called W.F. Hann in May to service our A/C. We were very pleased with the work and signed up for the maintenance program. When they came out to check our furnace in October, it was running okay but since its over 22 years old we decided to get a new Carrier furnace and a Rinnai tankless water heater, as our tank heater was over 30 years old. We requested a quote, there was no high pressure sales pitch. It took 3-4 guys about 8 hours to get them both installed. The young men were so polite and friendly, did a great job and clean up. The house is warmer now and were able to keep the thermostat lower than before. I would definitely recommend W.F. Hann to friends and family, and I have already.

I have an older, complicated home which has been through multiple renovations under previous ownership. Solving the inadequacies of the legacy HVAC system had been a struggle of mine for years. After quoting with four other service providers, I trusted WF Hann to take on a complicated install job, and they totally delivered. Everyone I worked with exceeded expectations on craftsmanship and customer service. In addition to doing top notch work and despite working in some really tough conditions, the install technicians were two of the nicest guys I’ve ever worked with. Honestly, I wasn’t all that happy with the after hour answering service not delivering our initial call on Friday evening , and having to call back a second time the next day on Saturday. The on call person wasn’t even aware of our first call. I was told what the cost would be to come out after business hour, so I decided to wait until Monday for service. I took off work Monday to address our heating problem. But the reason I’m given a 5 star review, is because when the office did call me back on Monday they said that they didn’t have any availability until Tuesday, but after I explained how unhappy I was and how things had went from the beginning, and how I took off work to address my situation, she called back and had some one come out right away. He didn’t fix the problem, but he did probably diagnosed the problem, and it was far greater than we could imagine. So he told me that the gas pressure was low, and not consistent is the reason why my furnace kept going out. Come to find out that the pipes underground was rusted out, and water was leaking in the gas lines, so called the gas company and they replaced all the pipes at no cost, so everything is now working properly. Thanks a mill for given me good advice and direction.

Keith Fredrickson is the only ‘Boiler Expert’ whom I trust. He’s been servicing our boiler for 30+ years and even checked the boiler, (just to be sure all was correct), of a house we were going to sell. I have always called WF Hann for any troubles with heating, plumbing and now cooling. If I have any Boiler or Furnace issue, Keith Fredrickson is the only man whom I trust to ferret out the trouble and fix it — without causing any other concomitant issues with galvanized pipes and such which is crucial in an old house. He’s a very dedicated Specialist in his chosen field and is very understanding and kind with all of his customers. I have suggested his expertise to friends who have Boilers & Furnaces and they all love him for his thoroughness and curtesy to those whose heating systems he services. Don’t ever let this man go! It’s an old Bryant from 1989 when the house was built and the fan circuit board gave out. I figured I have to get a new furnace. Jeff said before you do that let me see if I can find a circuit board. 3 days later he installed the one he found at thousands less than a new furnace. He told me about a potential issue with mulch by my compressor, and he did so with clarity, politeness and professionalism - Before anything became compromised with my AC unit. Beyond perfect. So I want to just first start out by saying that wf hann has helped us throughout our journey, over the course of about 10 months they were able to work with us helping us decide the best equipment for us and financing as well. We had our brand new 96% carrier furnace installed back in October of 2023 to get us through the winter and during the install the guys were able to get us set up so come spring we could have the outside unit installed and we couldnt have done it any other way without these guys! Long story short they are willing to work with you whatever your situation is and we couldnt be more pleased with the professionalism, the ability to work with us and ultimately the quality of the product!

W.F. Hann has been the go-to for all of my heating and cooling needs since buying my home 21 years ago. The previous owner had them before me, so after I moved in I decided to keep them on. It was a very GOOD decision! Theyve been quick to the rescue each time my a/c or furnace required attention. This particular month I had an issue that necessitated a complete replacement. Rafael was the service tech who came out and told me it had become a danger to operate, so after it was shut down he lent me a space heater from the truck. A few hours later, the account manager Dennis sat across from me and helped me figure out what I needed to do. He expedited my new installation, since I had no heat. A few days later, Dan spent the day installing my new furnace. The quality of Dans installation really showed ME how hard he worked and how much he cares! Each of these guys helped me feel very comfortable dealing with a situation that otherwise didnt bring much to cheer about. I feel, how they helped me navigate the experience is worth more than just a quick little mention though! They handled this both timely and very professionally! Each person who came out has experience, and takes what they do seriously! Hats off to each of them, and many thanks for all of your help!

I scheduled an appointment late in the day and was told a Service Tech would come out the next day. Sure enough, the next day Marty, the service tech, called and said he would be at our place in 20 minutes. Right on time! Marty explained clearly what he was going to do to determine our issue. Very quickly Marty found the problem. But instead of just closing things back up, at no additional cost, he went through and checked the entire unit to ensure we were good to go and that nothing unexpected would come up down the road. Class act from start to finish. I got a quote for central air last year but wasnt in a position to act on it. I called them back, they honored least years quote and had someone do the install two days later. Dan, the installer, was great. I ended up replacing the furnace as well as installing central air. He did the big job by himself. It was a two day job, and I was told I wouldnt have air until the second day. Dan juggled tasks a little and got my air working the first day. Everything was cleaned up and he even took the bush he had to dig up to get the AC unit. Couldnt be more pleased.

From the comfort consultant/sales rep to the installers a great experience. Comfort consultant (Dennis Byrne) listened to my issues with current system and made four recommendations on replacement and explained the plus and minuses of each. No pressure to buy anything the day he was out to house for a proposal. Once wife and I decided on HVAC system (furnace, central air, humidifier) we notified Dennis and one week later at our convenience system was installed. Dennis even showed up on day of install to make sure installers understood system sold and being installed.Dan Velek and his associate installer arrived on time day of install and worked tirelessly for 8 hrs until system was perfectly installed and tested. They tarped my finished basement floor so as not to make a mess and cleaned up the work area when finished. In addition they made sure I understood the operation of my new system before they left. Total install was one day and all old equipment was disposed of. Overall it was a very good experience and I would highly recommend W F Hann & Sons for your heating and cooling needs.

Absolutely the best. We recently purchased a new Carrier System and Hot Water Heater for our home from WF Hann. We had some requests that were going to be time consuming and costly such as venting the system directly outside and moving the location of the hot water heater. The company was cautious and made sure they had all of the equipment, pipes etc. before scheduling the job. The crew arrived on time first day of installation on time with all of the pieces of the puzzle. The guys were well groomed, very professional and personable. You could tell that they were truly a team working in sync with each other to get the job done. The installation took less than the two full days allotted and on inspection the work was installed by craftsman, not the usual gorilla mentality weve encountered in our 13 years here from San Francisco. The basement and outside was cleaned up, in fact it was cleaner than when they arrived. Please do not hesitate to call them for any job you may be anticipating. WF Hann gives great service. I signed up for one of their service plans and I have gotten good, reliable maintenance of my heating and cooling system. Last winter, their emergency technician was at my house at all hours when my furnace kept going out. They gave me choices about what to do and installed a new furnace for me at a reasonable cost. They also installed my hot water tank and it has worked well. I have been with them for years and plan to keep using their services.
