Im an old man & a broke old man to boot! But thanks to Menyhart (Jason & another gentleman there) they patiently walked me through replacing my entire bathtub plumbing system when I went to their store! As you can see, besides being broke, I am no plumber & could not afford to hire a pro to do it! At first I was intimidated by the prospect of doing this, but by the time I left their store, and with their encouragement, I felt like Peter Plumber!Photos of my finished job! :)Although my pride didnt want anyone to see the sloppy way I applied the glue! Other than that...NO LEAKS & all went well!Thank you Jason! Thank you Menyhart!Moral to this story....I wouldnt have gotten this job done if I had gone to Lowes or Home Depot! Going to almost a century old business proved the difference! The money I might have saved by going to Lowes or Home Depot couldnt compare to the pride & satisfaction I got from Menharts!

Walked in with a part of my shower Stem. I didnt even know what the part in my hand was called.I didnt catch the guys name who helped me, long hair, nice guy.He knew exactly what I needed, walked me through the entire rebuild process and made sure I was good to go. Set me up with some new Tub Stems, Seats, Nipples, Flanges and Handles. An hour later, my shower is Fixed and works better than it ever has before.Im not a plumber and dont often find myself needing plumbing supplies, but I will be referring everyone I know and will be making this my first stop for all my plumbing needs moving forward.

Great Experience,I stopped out at two places around me in the Burbs that were both helpful but didnt have older parts.So I made the pilgrimage and theyre as good as they ever were.Rick & staff found the seat washers,Stem packing and screws for my shower and sink valves.Just the rebuild parts for 5 valves from 1968.I got out of there @ just under 7 Bucks.And Rick removed the rusted retaining screw for a seat washer. if you have older plumbing,dont waste your time theyll match your parts up.If they dont have the part its foreign or no longer made

I had an old shutoff valve that was damaged and leaking. My local Ace Hardware in Cleveland Heights (who are often helpful in solving plumbing issues) couldnt help me this time but recommended Menyhart. I called in to discuss my dilemma, and they felt there was a chance, if I brought the part in, there might be a chance they could help. I walked in with an old part of a shower faucet that was old as the house I lived in and the people in the store took there time with me and were extremely patient with me as I know nothing about plumbing. After looking around their available catalogs and searching through inventory they were able to fix the faucet stem and gave me tips for reinstalling the part. I have not had the best of luck when dealing with plumbers and hardware store associates before but I was amazed at the service I received here. I will suggest this place to all my friends and family and feel that I will be a life long cuatomer here.

Absolutely blown away! They went above and beyond my expectations. I live on the east side, but another plumbing supply company suggested here because they usually have things for old claw foot tubs. They not only replaced the washers on the old stems, they also gave me new stems just in case the washer didn’t hold! Found our new plumbing store to go to for sure! Worth the 30 minute drive!

Only time Ive seen them abrasive is when someone is trying to do something that they have no business doing. If they tell you to contact a plumber its because the project you are trying to do is too difficult for you. They are super helpful and will walk you through a do it yourself job but there are some plumbing jobs that shouldnt be done by do it yourselfers so when they say contact a plumber heed their advice

Awesome local business that specializes in plumbing and Hvac supplies. This is the place where you can walk in with any obscure plumbing piece and they recognize it immediately and fix it for you on the spot with a couple of gaskets and a few dollars. They have IN STOCK the most obscure plumbing parts known to man, since the beginning of time. All of the staff is super friendly, and knowledgeable.

It was 93 degrees and humid enough to drink when my A/C stopped working. I knew I needed a capacitor, but since Im not a contractor the local HVAC supply stores wouldnt sell to me. Menyhart will! They had the unusual capacitor I needed and had it sitting on the counter waiting for me when I arrived. $21 for a 5/55 capacitor. Well worth the 45-minute drive!

This place is beyond excellent. Jason helped us figure out next steps for our broken 1950s sink faucet. When it was clear it couldn’t be fixed, instead of trying to sell us on a cheap new faucet or getting irritated with us for asking to repair such an old fixture in the first place, he looked up an exact match for us to replace it with. A new, exact match for a seventy year old faucet! Then he got the old pipe ends and cartridges out of a very rusty but irreplaceable mixing valve from the same bathroom, reconnected pipe ends and new cartridges, and installed new knobs in about 10 minutes today! Thank you!

They had the specialty items I needed to replace old piping in my 90 year old house and connect to the original cast iron soil pipe.While talking to others about my issues with the repair, I had 2 neighbors and the plumbing guy at Lowes recommend the place. When I explained my problem to the man at the counter he was very helpful. Got me the parts I needed and even explained the installation procedure I need to follow.
