All around it was an excellent experience, and using my Old Republic Home Protection warranty, All of the work was covered, and I had no additional out-of-pocket expenses. It was great!

We have been introduced to various plumbing companies through our home warranty and eventually came across Mayes & Sons. We had some work completed last year that was done very well, but we were also having an issue with a blocked pipe that no other plumbing company could figure out and kept redirecting us. Mayes and Sons was able to locate the issue and give us sound advice on what we had to do. Finally this year, a year later, we were ready to get the issue fixed and called on Mayes & Sons outside of our warranty because we felt confident in what they stated would get the job done. Lo and behold! the same technician that we had last year, Matt K. came out and took care of the issue. He was prompt, courteous, and highly professional. He took time to complete the job and cleaned up after he was done. My husband and I are extremely happy with the outcome and pleased with a job excellently done. Matt is a great worker and a great representation of this company. With top notch service like this we will continue to call on Mayes and Sons for our plumbing needs.

I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with Mayes & Sons. I had a hot water tank replaced today by a technician named Jake. I would like to give a shout out to both Jake as well as Mayes & Sons. To start, my technician called in the morning with an ETA of 9am. At 9am there was the truck pulling in my driveway. My technician was very professional and very friendly. He worked quickly to switch out my hot water tank and explained things along the way. This is our first experience with Mayes & Sons, but I can promise it will not be our last. My husband had called yesterday afternoon to try to get on schedule, and we were booked for an appointmentless than 24hours later. Thank you Mayes & Sons for taking care of us so quickly!

Ugh. There went the hot water heater. What to do about a plumber? Whom do I call? The last one was a frightening character. Well, Mayes & Sons is right down the road so, what the heck. I got a quote over the phone which was-- ready for this?--reasonable! Installation was promised, and provided, the next day. To top it off, the service guys who showed up (a bit late because of a prior job delay) were courteous, extremely efficient, hard working and knowledgeable. It cant get much better than that.

Tony was my plumber (a couple times now) and he is so professional, knowledgeable, and always does a great job on all of my bathroom & kitchen plumbing issues! He’s fixed all my toilet, bathtub, sinks, kitchen, & shower issues. The company is so good at communicating and setting up appointments quickly and letting you know they are on their way, they are efficient with time, and do quality work! I highly recommend Mayes & Sons for any and all plumbing jobs!

Mayes & Sons was sent out by Rheem for a warranty claim on my HWT. Rheem & Mayes have been great to work with. I filed the claim with Rheem today and the tech was dispatched and parts were ordered same day! I appreciate the exceptional customer service from both companies! I was already impressed from my initial phone call with Bobby & Sam they were very friendly and professional. They got me a same day appointment. I was greatful as I had no hot water. David and Jhonny arrived on time and exceeded my expectations. They were both very friendly, knowledgeable, informative, and professional. They did an assessment of my water heater, diagnosed the problem, removed and replaced it. They explained everything to me which really helped ease my mind. The message you included was: Working with Mayes & Sons was the best experience we have had with a contractor to date. We had a gas leak and the gas company shut the gas off to our house. Mayes was sent out by Homeserv to address the issue. They came out within hours and quickly identified that we needed a new line run to our home. They showed up with a truck and excavator the next day and we were back in business. The follow up by the employees and owner was phenomenal. I would use the company again.

Mayes & Sons Plumbing is a God send! I had a very difficult emergency repair that needed to be done in a 1926 house in Shaker Heights, OH.After having two different plumbing companies come to my house and actually turn the job down because of its difficulty, Mayes came out on August 28th 2023 and assessed the job and situation. With full knowledge and confidence of what they had to do to fix what the other plumbers could NOT do, they said We can do this job no problem...This is what we do!!! How refreshing....They gave me an estimate the very next day on August 29th (at a very fair price I might add) and let me know that they could be there the next morning of August 30th at 9:00am to make the repair. WHAT??????? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? a contractor that can come out the very next day?????? They sent out two plumbers who worked their tails off from 9:00am to 3:00pm to get the repair done without even taking a lunch break. After they finished with the extremely difficult repair they then cleaned up the mess. What professionals! I am so impressed and I wish all contractors were such a pleasure to work with.Mayes & Sons gets my highest endorsement and I can not say enough good things about my experience with them. Thank you again for taking care of my emergency issue and I will recommend your company to everyone I know!!!Its nice to know that there are still some awesome old school contractors out there that take pride in their work, show up on time, do what they say they are going to do, clean up after themselves and give you a great price and dont even take a lunch break to get the job done!
