Excellent service. I managed to clog my main sewer line late Christmas Eve of all nights. Shawn came out at 10PM, less than two hours after I had called, and had me back up and running in under an hour. The price was lower than I was anticipating, given the fact that it was holiday after-hours emergency service.I had actually called two other places first because they were closer to me, but no one else even answered the phone, despite claiming 24 hour service. I guess thats not terribly surprising, given it was Christmas Eve, but H. Jacks answered right away and got someone to come right out.Highly recommended. I would absolutely use these guys again in the future if needed.

Kevin came out for us late on a Sunday to help us with a leaky gas line. He was able to find the issue, fix the problem and we had our gas back up and running immediately. They helped us in a pinch on and in a very fast turnaround (which is great since it’s winter)! Can’t recommend H. Jack’s and Kevin strongly enough! Will absolutely use them again.

On Thursday morning, we encountered a natural gas leak coming from our hot water heater. Trying to find a plumber to come out the same day to look at our old tank & price out a new one was becoming a difficult task - until I got to H Jacks listing. I called & they were able to get a plumbing technician to our home within hours. Better yet, their estimate to install a new hot water heater was better than several of their competitors, and they were able to replace it the next morning. The two plumbing technicians, Adam & Simeon, who did the installation were very informative (as we went from a tall tank, which was 14 years old, to a shorter one with all the new requirements). They also treated us with courtesy & respect (customer service at its finest). They even cleaned up everything before leaving! My husband & I are very grateful to have a new hot water tank within a 24 hour period & would highly recommend H Jacks to our family & friends.

H JACK is the best plumbing company, great customer service, everything is explained in ways you understand if you dont understand plumbing and the work is outstanding, last year they remodeled my bathroom into my beautiful dream bathroom. I recently got a boiler clean up by Richard who explained the process and found i needed a part replaced, came back the next day to replace it and make sure my boiler was safe! He explained how to maintain my boiler to keep it going. He was a pleasure to work with. I will recommend HJack to everyone!

The plumber was courteous and made me feel at ease with what was happening. He did not scare me like other plumbing places do. He came back the next morning to fix my issue and I think it was more than a fair price that the work was done. I did call other places before them and no one could get anyone out till the next day. Of course their site 24/7. I would use them again for any plumbing issues. Thank you Jacks for helping me out and thank you to Matt the plumber as well for doing what he told me he would do.

My steam boiler had to be replaced. Tim Eddleman, was the salesman that came to my home. He was so knowledgeable about my boiler & what I needed. Totally unpushy, but very straightforward when explaining what would need to be replaced & how it would be done. I was amazed that he said if I chose HJack to do the job he & his team could start the installation the following day. The next day, Tim, Adam, Simeon, Jayden & Tim ( the apprentice) were at my home right on time. They all had incredible work ethics. My home is over a hundred years old & it is not easy to even get a washer & dryer down through the basement door. They worked for 45 minutes maneuvering the boiler to get it through the door opening & down the steps. They were all so polite, so hardworking, so friendly. I couldnt be more pleased. They removed the old boiler & when they were done, swept up my floor. It was obvious to me that they took great pride in their work. The following day, they were again on time & worked past 5:00 to complete the job. My new boiler is working great & my house is comfortably warm.To the owners of Hjack, if you keep hiring such quality employees, you will have to be successful & grow your company. I thought old fashioned work ethics were a thing of the past. Not so, with HJacks Heating & Plumbing. Kevin and Lucas were such a huge help with our main water shut off and secondary valves that were majorly leaking all over our basement. Kevin came right out in the morning to start fixing it, and Lucas was able to stop the severe leak. They were very helpful, explained what was wrong, and did a lot of problem solving to resolve it. We really appreciate their time and work, and strongly recommend!

I am in charge of maintenance of a co-op in Parma. One of our shareholders had a massive sewer blockage in their unit where they could not use the bathroom. Our regular handyman worked for over 4 hours and could not clear the blockage but recommended a company who uses a camera. I contacted Jacks for help. They arrived early the next morning Shawn and his partner (forgot his name) kept me up to date throughout the day and explained everything they were doing and what they found, and they unclogged the sewer drain. I learned a lot about wye, tee, and clay connections, but most importantly, I added a great company to our vendor list! Would recommend Jacks to anyone!Dan

During our annual furnace inspection the technician - Nate Griffin discovered a potential leak in the heat exchanger. He requested a second opinion from Barry who came out and after further investigations determined in fact there was a problem, and the heat exchanger needed replaced or a new furnace installed. I appreciate that Barry took time to explain the problem and worked with us on the best option. This is why weve used H Jacks for the past 20+ years!

We had a severe plumbing issue which threatened to shut down our facility on a holiday weekend that we anticipated having over 500 people through our doors. We called several companies late on Friday night and but with H Jacks, we spoke to a real person (vs leaving) a message and had a technician onsite within 45 minutes. The problem required additional larger equipment and we were scheduled for a 9am slot on Saturday. The technicians were on-site at 9:03am with the power jet equipment and quickly resolved our blocked sewer system and had us back in business. Very reliable, professional, knowledgeable and responsive. Would use again if ever needed. Highly recommend.

I called H Jacks at 8:00am on a Friday morning and spoke with their customer service representative. He said they could help me with my issues and that I’d receive a call back from one of their guys! I got that call 20 minutes later! Said they’d be at my house by 9:00. They arrived early!They accessed the issue and explained it was a little more of problem than I expected! They provided a price quote on site and got the materials needed for the job from a second team, then got to work and finished the repair and install by 1:00pm! It was expensive, but I’ll never have to worry about the issue again! We went over in advance of starting the job and an estimate of the cost . I was periodically advised of their progress. The water heater was finished first so we were able to use the toilet after a reasonable time. The kitchen leak and blockage were next. The pipes were disassembled, clog was cleared and the drain was snaked. Pipes were reassembled and the drainage tested with flow running clear. I was pleased with both of the gentlemen doing the repairs. They explained everything they were doing and was confident that the job was being professionally done. I would highly recommend these two gentlemen.

I needed multiple things done, stack fixed and gas line repaired. After talking with the technicians they sent I decided to just get the gas line re-piped. Also, the company which has done the initial rehab of the home did the stack incorrectly, so had that redone as well. The guys were professional and personable. They got the work done within the 2 day window they promised. Gas service to the home was able to be started and all sinks and toilets flush and drain as they should.

Did have to pay a $200 fee which we were warned of in advance for the holiday visit. I was so frustrated because I had a horrible leaky basement!The sewer kept backing up and rainwater would flood my basement.I spent hundreds of dollars on every kind of cement you could buy but nothing helped,I reached out to HJacks because I had seen their sign(headquarters) when I walked my dogs along industrial Parkway.I had to have the whole in-house sewer replaced also had to have my downspouts replaced, and my basement waterproofed .The guys that came out were very professional and worked very hard. After all this was done unexpectedly, my sewer backed up again and so HJacks came right out and began investigating why?. I came to find out that the city was at fault because there was a blockage in the main drain in the street where my sewer line met. They had spent a day and a half trying to figure it out because you can’t run a camera through when the sewer is filled with sewage.. They called the city for me and advocated for me to get help right away which meant everything because if they hadn’t called, it was my responsibility to prove to them it was there negligence that was causing my sewer to back up.I’ve called HJacks since I had the work done and they have always responded immediately, and I really felt like they cared about me and making sure that the money I had spent was well worth it.I would highly recommend them to anyone that’s needing help with waterproofing or plumbing problems . I have dealt with many plumbing companies while all this was going on and none of them compared to the experience and knowledge of the Hjacks plumbers!!

Richard showed up within 3 hours of me requesting emergency service on a day that didn’t make it past 28°. He talked me through why my furnace wasn’t working, and helped us figure out options to replace it. He came back on Monday and removed the old unit, install the new unit, and get heat in my house by Monday afternoon. Tuesday he returned to finish the job and get the system dialed-in. We also arranged him to come back to replace the AC unit when the weather is appropriate, so that work is pending, but I have no doubt it will be completed with the same level of professionalism.While I could buy a small country for what I’ve paid for these replacements, that’s the world we live in. His, his coworkers, and HJack’s overall service was professional and quick, and we’re happy to have heat again. Thanks Richard.

Called H. Jack at around 6am to have a new hot water tank installed as soon as possible and by 8am they were at my house getting started and finished a very professional install by 11:30am. Their idea to fix the pipe was more strategic and helpful than the previous plumber and I haven’t had a single drip since they resolved my problem. He and I were able to get things worked out on the phone, and he was very helpful and patient! Jacks is quickly moving to dispatch another team to my home to get the maintenance done ASAP. I appreciate their outreach.I reached out to this company on their website requesting to set up an appointment for furnace maintenance and didnt ever receive a response. Tried again a month later and a week later received a response that I needed to call to make an appointment. Not sure what purpose the online appointment requests serve, but that was not the end of my less than stellar time with Jacks.I knew that my furnace was getting on in age and that a replacement was inevitable, but I was hoping to get some routine cleaning done in time for the beginning of the cold season while I reviewed my options and made a decision.A little less than a week ago I had my appointment and the gentleman that came out was very nice and professional. However he started the appointment by saying I needed a replacement (of which I was well aware), and spent the entire two hour visit trying to sell me and my husband a new furnace and air conditioner, even offering to begin tearing out our furnace that day! His enthusiasm was off putting, despite his repeated insistence that he wasnt a salesman and was only telling us what he would do in our place. Both I and my husband for this visit had to return to work, but were kept after we mentioned that we needed to leave because he continued to try get us to sign off on a new install that day.No actual maintenance took place, and I was charged $135 to be told something I already knew.
