    The name truly fits, Carlong plumbing solutions, after dealing with another plumbing company for about a month one call to Carlong plumbing and Alex arrived looked at and assessed my issue, listened to what had been occurring, within a few minutes he had a job plan which he explained in detail so I understood and had an estimated cost for me. And this was all done saturday morning to fit with my work schedule. Monday Bailey arrived on time and completed the job plan just as I was told it would be done. When he finished he let me know what he encountered and how he fixed and corrected the issue. I am a detailed individual and when it comes to my home the bar is set high. Thank you Alex and thank you Bailey, I will be using Carlong plumbing definitely again.

    Bailey came to my home for a clogged kitchen sink. He was polite, professional and very cautious of keeping the area clean. He didnt ask for payment until I was satisfied with the job and even after I paid he double checked to make sure there was nothing else I needed.     I am a Home Serve customer (through East Ohio Gas Company) and they assigned me to Carlong Plumbing to service/replace a failing Hot Water Tank. Alex was the service technician and he his efficiency and communication skills were excellent and was an absolute pleasure to work with. The total estimate to replace the hot water tank with a 40 gallon Rheem, bring plumbing up to code, and install a new expansion tank was $2274! The quote and final bill did not itemize the scope of work to include parts, labor, etc. Home Serve gave me a credit of $1,000 (according to my contract). So my total out of pocket expense was $1274.00 even with my credit from the Protection Plan... Unfortunately, I did not have time to get other quotes since the hot water tank was already leaking. The total seems excessive after talking with friends and family that recently had theirs replaced by plumbing contractors at around $1400. Even with some minor code upgrades such as adding a quarter turn gas and water shut off along with extending the gas line to code, a new expansion tank (which used the existing plumbing) the total seemed excessive.

    Carlong Plumbing was so helpful when my hot water heater stopped working on the Friday before Thanksgiving. They scheduled a service call for Monday. Bailey came out and determined the hit water heater needed to be replaced, as well as code upgrades. He picked up a new hot water tank, came back, installed it himself as well as the code upgrades very efficiently and professionally, and was very courteous. And I was able to have hot water before Thanksgiving!

    Outstanding service. Bayley and Charles were great. Had water coming up through a floor drain in the basement. Bayley diagnosed the problem and kept me informed every step of the way. Floor drain had to be dug up and replaced. The cement had to dry overnight. They came back the next day to check it and to hook back up my washer and dryer. They were prompt, courteous, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Price was reasonable. I would highly recommend Carlong to anyone.

    HomeServe had put me with another plumber that had horrible communication skills (didnt tell me they were going to be over an hour late to the appointment, the office didnt know where the plumbers were or when theyd show up, etc) and when they did show up, they came unprepared and couldnt do the job. I called HomeServe to help me with them, and they placed me with Carlong.Carlong was quick to get here, they came prepared, and were wonderfully professional! He got the job finished in a couple hours and now everything is runing smooth again! I am so happy they switched me to the new company, I will certainly be requesting Carlong in the future.
