    We needed a plumber asap and a good friend recommended Rapid Rooter Plumbing. TJ, one of their technicians was at our house within 2 hours from my call. He was totally professional and all business working non-stop from the minute he arrived. Our water in our bathroom bathtub would not stop running needing a new cartridge. He new exactly what needed to be replaced and repaired and explained everything in detail.     John came when scheduled, called ahead, was friendly and did a good job. He made sure the area was clean when he left. Ive been using Rapid Rooter for a long time. Example of attention to detail: John made sure the disposer ring was exactly straight up and down. Im a plumb and level sort of gal and this is important. Not all service people in the world would think this is important!

    We had a drain blockage in an upstairs bathroom sink and heard a gurgling noise in the tub each time the adjacent toilet was flushed. Another plumber had run a cleaning line through the tub drain and then a line through our vent stack, thinking that would solve the problem, but he had no ideas when it didnt. Chris Jones of Rapid-Rooter correctly diagnosed this issue as a blockage in the pipe between the sink and the toilet. He explained the problem, fixed it and cleaned up, all in less than 90 minutes. He was friendly and professional, and we have now found a new plumber we plan to stick with. I have no idea whether the price ($282 with a coupon) is competitive for such a service, but it seemed reasonable to my wife and me.

    Came the same day we called. Technician was given the wrong address, but was very friendly and personable as he worked to get to the right address. Quick repair of clogged shower drain. Thanks!*UPDATE-- Had TJ return after the kitchen construction was finished-- Not only did he hook the sink and garbage disposal back up, but helped us troubleshoot a leak, updated all three toilets with new flapper and handles (upon our request) and was able to also provide information regarding a company that could help us clean up the water damage from the leak. TJ was very helpful, friendly, on time, and very professional. We are very satisfied!

    We needed to have our buried corrugated drains from our downspouts cleared and we contacted Rapid-Rooter because our regular plumber recommended them. I spoke with them several times on the phone to discuss our issue and I really felt like they cared about providing the right solution. TJ and John were our service technicians. They were prompt, knowledgeable, and quickly assessed how to address our slow/blocked drains. They completed the work within an hour and we now have free-flowing downspout drains!!     Larry and John did a fantastic job replacing our main water line. Larry was very professional, notifying us of each step they were preparing to start so that we knew when the water was on and off and how long it would remain that way. John tried his very best to save us money. They both apologized for taking out our landscaping but unfortunately there was no way around it. Reasonable pricing and great service, would highly recommend to any of my neighbors or friends.

He came out within an hour of my call, was polite, and cleaned up the mess in the bathroom, he even asked if he could use my vacuum!     We called Rapid-Rooter because we had used them for eight years and always were completely satisfied with their work and their professionalism and we were not disappointed this time either. This call was for a leak under a stationery tub and a leak in a pipe behind our heater in our crawlspace. Chris Jones came out on time and did a courteous, professional and efficient job of identifying where the problems originated and what needed to be done. Chris then installed a new faucet for us on the tub and provided an estimate for the needed repairs to the piping from the sink to the main drain. Courteous, Professional, on-time and competent, what more could we ask.

    Larry and John came out and helped me through a very complex installation of a free standing tub. They explained the step by step process and were extremely responsive and professional. Separately, Larry also came out separately and explained how my lift-pump works and how we can address relocating it, which was very helpful to us.     Chris, our tech, was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and an efficient worker. He was on time and diagnosed the problem in less than five minutes, explained what needed to be done and provided competitive pricing. The work included cutting the toilet drain pipe, removing the toilet to pull out the pipe, install new pipe and flange, and reinstall the toilet. He completed his work without any problems. The toilet now sits directly on the wood floor. Prior to the repairs, it was shimmed up at least 3/8 inches off the floor due to the flange height. We are very pleased with the repairs. I was happy with the repair, the time frame and the many conversations we had while he worked. He was very courteous in the fact that he noticed throughout my house is white carpet. He took his shoes off and on during the times he had to go to his truck and then to re-enter my house.     John went ABOVE and BEYOND for us. On Sunday night at 10 pm our house flooded for the second time this year. After having another plumbing service come out months ago to waste our time and money we were in desperate need of help. We called all over Charlotte and this is the only company that held true to the “24 hour emergency calls”. John came out on an emergency call at around 11pm. We called the company and John was out within 20 minutes of our initial call. He stayed until around midnight and gave us peace of mind by correctly identifying the issue immediately upon arrival, something our previous plumbing company could never do. John then came back yesterday morning to complete our job and make sure everything was marked precisely and accurately for the city to come and repair. Thank you John, you were AMAZING. We will definitely be using Rapid Rooter again for future plumbing needs.

    I initially called on a Sunday afternoon when I discovered an issue with my hot water heater. The gentleman I spoke with indicated he would be more than happy to come out, but might not have the part I needed. He didnt want me to spend the $$$ for a weekend call and set up a time for someone to come the next day - more likely to be able to get any parts needed.Chris J. came out the next day and was very easy to work with. Fast and efficient. He found the problem and was able to repair it without any issues. I don’t know what this type of work typically costs, but it didn’t seem too bad. Plus, there’s something to be said for having the problem fixed within about 24 hours and saving the weekend call fee. These guys were very easy to work with and I’ll likely be calling them if I need any future fixes.

I was easily scheduled and T.J arrived on time. (That in itself is a good start)He fixed the problem, didnt judge my plumbing skills.... or lack thereof, and was very amiable.I will definitely use this company again.

Because he stands so strongly behind his team and values his repeat customers, I can only appreciate the time he took to call and listen to my side of the issue and let me know the changes hes implemented, so a customer can get the service they request regardless to outcome of the issue at hand.There was some confusion in the background and the techs thought Id be happy that they didnt waste my money on a job that wasnt going to fix the problem. They didnt realize that I understood this wasnt a fix. I was requesting maintenance to keep my problem at bay until I can afford the fix.Weve scheduled a new maintenance request and I look forward to more business in the future. Once every few years I schedule a main line clean out from the main pipe to the street.This year Im not sure what was different (maybe staff changes) but when I scheduled the maintenance the woman on the line seemed a bit perplexed about my request but did schedule the work. The problem was Chris tried to diagnose my issue instead of providing the service I scheduled. He kept trying to sell me the camera down the drain (which I would have paid for in addition to the clean out) and never did the work.Ive been in this house for 14years I know the issues, which is why I scheduled a maintenance clean out to keep my issue from becoming a problem until I get the thousands of dollars to fix it. After Chris diagnosed it and refused to do the clean out (which theyve done over the past 12 years) they sent Rick out to give me the estimate on other work. However when I asked yet again if hed do the clean out, he said theyd call Chris back out. But Chris never returned the woman on the phone says, Well see if we can do that (meaning the clean out). My response was if you look at my records youll see that youve done this before so why wouldnt you do it now?I have full time job and need permission to work from home. Waiting on 2 sets of crews to come out is a bit ridiculous (especially since i raced to work when Chris left, then got a call from RR saying a new crew was coming shortly) so I raced back home to receive no service at all and WASTING a work from home privilege.Now I have to find another company to service me and ask again to work from home. This doesnt make any sense to me. If the professionals think my maintenance clean out is a waste of time for them, they should consider the fact that its a service Ive bee paying for, for years. If only to humor the customer, it should have been done as no harm can come from it. The just lost my money.

    We have a very poorly installed drain system. The developer actually put angles in one section to get the pipe to connect to the clean out when they subdivided the lot. We either have a crack or the seals weren’t properly glued all those years ago. This is the second time we have had this company out to clear roots out of the line.Because of the angles Larry had a hard time getting the auger to go through. He kept working and we were to the point where we had consider whether to dog. I told him I was praying and suddenly it went through. He exclaimed “got it”. And just about fell over.
